They didn’t definitively can SAB in the interview. They didn’t know what it’s future was as it doesn’t fit into the game’s scheme of things. Nothing was carved in stone. Though, the future didn’t look very bright for it either. Today’s silliness may not have helped things.

I should have kept your ambience bit since that’s what gets me to play each day, and roll a new character nearly every month.

I’ve had quite a few crashes recently. No error codes shown, just the game closing and the Send Report thing coming up with different details almost each time. Pretty annoying. I’ve recently upgraded the driver so without going back to the older driver I don’t what to really put it down to.

That doesn’t make any sense. Keep Vistas as Vistas. What they should change are the Points of Interest. Instead of just discovering them for exp only, you find it, get its name, Icon appears on top of your map, you press it and you get a page worth of information and historical references of the place in question and a cool picture.

Red costs 300 gold / rank 30 PvP

Once this change hits…I plan to turn my tag on and announce in map chat “I’m mapping and doing all random events join in if you’d like to.” I have before and I actually pulled people to me and we all had tons of fun…In return it helps the newer players that don’t know much about gw2 yet…but that is zero need for a use?

That’s what you do, not what commanders do in general. You use your tag as a helpful tool to show new people around. Others use theirs for guild outings. OP, in addition to a gw1 campaign you must also have the Eye of the North expansion, as that is where the actual HoM is located that you’ll need to access.

when my ranger got l36, I tried all different traits a little bit to find out which one suit my style best. now, my l36 guardian doesn’t have any traits can play with. how could that is not a harder.

Everything provides xp, except sitting down. You can just roam and redo events as you run into them, or travel to other starter maps and start exploring them. You can travel using the portals in all the capital cities that go via Lions Arch.

I think it isn’t a bad idea but I wouldn’t buy it. Not because I didn’t like LS1 (loved it) but because I’ve already done it. Unless they add some new stuff in it.

It’s only a gamble if you’re after something specific, otherwise it’s just a lucky dip.

Ok course its still a chance. But with the monetization of the keys in order to get one of these scraps/tickets for a skin, it just a different way to get them. If people want to farm gold to get the skins. Great! If people want to do key runs to get scraps/tickets. Great! If people want to buy keys to get scraps/tickets. Great!
Overall though, buying keys to get the skins is a terrible investment, unless yo udon’t mind spending the money to support the game. I don’t feel that this is in anyway wrong, or misleading, or a bad idea. It offers people various ways to get the items they want.

Thanks for the heads up. I may not have noticed. I seem to have some luck getting scraps and full tickets so I don’t mind seeing if that luck can be doubled lol.

Then dodge enemy players and get what you can, when you can. It’s not hard.

I don’t have an answer for you, OP, since I keep my alts and play all of them. Maybe just keep plugging away until you finally hit the One. It’s bound to happen one day.

When I was her age I would have loved GW2, and definitely preferred it to WoW. (Which is a shame because when I was 11 Warcraft 2 was one of my favourite games and I was convinced a Warcraft RPG would be the best thing ever.)

I also agree with the people who said unless she has a specific reason to want to play WoW get her to try GW2 first so you’re not paying for a sub on a game she might get bored with quickly.

But IMO the most important thing is to let her make her own decisions and remember that it’s more important that she’s having fun than that she’s doing things “right” or is good at the game.

My first RPG was Eye of the Beholder, when I was 8. I didn’t have a clue what I was doing and even at the time I knew I was terrible at it. I spent most of my time wandering in circles and I don’t think I ever got past the first two levels. But I loved playing it.

That inspired me to play Dark Sun, Lands of Lore, various Ultima games…it wasn’t until I was playing Baldur’s Gate and Ultima Online that I really began to think about and understand stats, weapon choices etc. It definitely made a big difference to how I played and what I was able to achieve in the games, but I think if someone had tried to explain all that to me earlier or had told me I could only use certain races/classes because they were the ‘right’ choice I would have lost interest.

(This goes for anyone incidentally, regardless of age. I was literally biting my tongue when my husband got GW2 and decided to start with an elementalist and a Mesmer because I knew he’d struggle more than if he chose a simpler profession. But I let him get on with it and even after he tried a warrior, guardian and thief the Mesmer became the one he took to 80 and uses for 90% of the game. If I’d pushed him to start with a warrior I doubt he’d ever have gotten there.)

Also my kids think it’s hilarious, they used to watch me play GW1 and they liked it when I used tonics to turn into stuff. Literally the ONLY reason I ever used that crap. I remember destroying a stack of bunny tonics from Nick because I have no patience for Party Animal(?)

Anyway, they’re under 6.

My 4 year old daughter loves to watch “her” Norn guardian run around as a pig, courtesy of the tonic from Kessex Hills. If she was a bit older I’d build her a pc so she could do it all herself. I hope this game lasts that long (and I’d imagine it will).

If you haven’t used a gem shop bought skin then its a free use, but one time only. Your skin that came with the HE counts as a gem shop bought skin. After the initial use it goes into the wardrobe for transmute costs.

Once its in the wardrobe you can use them forever but at the transmute cost.

I’d say my boat is sailing next to yours. I buy these things for my various characters to match their styles so I have quite a few of the same sort. I’m not too fussed about changing them at the bank because I wouldn’t do it anyway. All my soulbound ones are still soulbound.
