Due to a bug, the Southsun Cove map currently is inaccessible and the Crab Toss activity is unavailable.
At the present time, we do not have a timeframe for when we’ll be able to re-enable these two game elements, but the team is continuing to look into the situation and we’ll re-enable both as soon as possible.
Weve got people looking in to this issue, thanks for posting here!
We’ve been able to reproduce this internally and have people looking in to it. It looks to be a global issue present in other similar event objectives as well. Thank you for bringing it to my attention!
We’re looking into this. Thanks for the report!
Bug Fixes:
We are looking into it.
Thanks for the post. We’ve pulled the tournament logs/information and we’re looking into the cause of this. In the mean time, we’ve had to cancel the tournament.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Ive got a fix for this queued up. It will be in the next patch, sorry about that.
Yes, load times are really miserable and we’re very sorry for that!
Right now, team members are looking into this problem and seeing what they can do to address it. I’ve found that without logging in, I can get into a post much more quickly, but that does not allow me to participate, so that is not ideal. (And it might not be the case for others.)
I reported this early this morning, and I have not heard back with information about this, but I know it’s being worked on. I’ll post when I know more, and again, we’re sorry for this inconvenience and irritation!
Bug Fixes:
I’ve relayed these reports to our team. Can you please confirm that this is still an issue for you? Details that would help:
Thanks very much and please accept our apologies for the inconvenience!

Should be up sometime today.
We like Reddit just fine, but there are differences between the two media. Official information, update notes, new about upcoming releases (we’re working on one of those now, actually), and other official info and substantive posts are presented here.
Our “Dev Celebrations (AMAs)” take place on Reddit because the formatting works for them, but that’s not an indication of any sort of official migration.
As to dev “freedom,” well, devs are free to post as they wish here, there, or anywhere else.

facepalm.. coming right up good sir.
Very nicely done! Good choice of class and build for this, and well done with the execution
Bug Fixes:
We will be conducting scheduled maintenance on Friday, July 28, 2017, from 12:01 AM Pacific Time until approximately 12:15 AM Pacific Time. During this 15-minute period, players may have difficulty logging in to the game or transferring between worlds. In addition, EU players may not be able to create a new account or access the Gem Store during this timeframe.
Bug Fix:
We’re pushing registration back to 1:30PM (20:30 UTC) to make a little bit more room for the hotfix.
Hey folks,
There’s an incoming hotfix in the near future. We’re going to push today’s Grenth’s Game back 1 hour to avoid conflicts.
Registration will open at 1PM (20:00 UTC).
We actually talked about that today. I’m always hesitant to put invuln buffs in, on the off chance that people will find a glitch that lets them keep it during the match.
We’ve tried to fix this via map art changes a few times, but people seem to just find another way in. I’m just going to add kill planes to the bases on Kyhlo.
Thank you for your patience while we addressed this issue. The content has been re-enabled.
Thanks for the latest reports! We’re investigating them.
Forgot to go through the whitelist yesterday.
All the achievements unlocked so far should be blessed.
It appears both of you have found the instructions for the 32-bit client. We have yet to complete the hook up for the repair dialog in the 64-bit test client.

As Season 3 wraps up with “One Path Ends,” we’d love to ask you a favor, as we have in the past:
Please share your high-level feedback (75 words or fewer) on Episode 6.
Please mark any spoilers with the spoiler tag (see formatting guide) to avoid giving away the story to those who have not yet played all the way through.
Devs will be reading other threads, of course, and longer or more detailed feedback is welcome. This thread is designed to amass your high-level views.
I mentioned this in the AMA, may as well repeat it here. For a multitude of reasons, balance being just one, we don’t have any plans on doing a 2v2 (or 3v3) queue.
We’ve been talking about doing special tournaments on occasion. 2v2 would be one option for a special tournament.
We’re looking into it.
LMFAO! “We’ve just pushed out a gigantic patch without any warning whatsoever, right in the middle of an AT. What’s that you say? Lag? Glitches? Don’t worry boys, ’We’re looking into it. By god, we’ll get to the bottom of it.”
God kitten I love you Arenanet. 0 kittens given.
Heh, didn’t mean to sound quite THAT nonchalant about it. We have some code in place that’s supposed to handle things auto-magically when updates happen. We’ve tested it internally quite a lot and it functioned fine in our test. Obviously, something happened differently between live and internal testing though.
Cal and Ray are literally tracing through the tournament logs to find the break point now.
We’re looking into it.
Tactics should be up and working again.

The fix for 1 up 1 down went out with this release. So this Friday we will be using 1 up 1 down again.
We’ve temporarily disabled a fractal chest while we correct its contents. You will be able to activate the chest in your inventory once it has been updated.
We are disabling tactics until a fix is in.
It went out in today’s patch. Just missed release notes.
I recommend not slotting any tactics until we get this fixed.
We are aware of the issue and working on it now.

Living World Season Finale- “One Path Ends”
Balthazar has disappeared again, and it’s top priority to find him—especially if what he’s planning could bring disaster to Tyria. And if one thing’s for sure, it’s that he’s gearing up for something big. He’s already managed to collect magical power from a bloodstone, and now he’s set his sights on an Elder Dragon. With Taimi’s device broken, you’re on your own—for now.

Hey there,
The idea of players offering a poll or creating a demographic chart that represents favorites of any kind would be just fine. What we have a concern about is someone creating a poll whose results purport to present “certified, verified, irrefutable facts” related to matters of greater sensitivity.
For instance, we want to avoid incendiary or trollish polls, like “Should [person] be tarred and feathered [for doing something that the poll’s creator didn’t like].” That just has no place on the forums. Too, some poll platforms can be “adjusted” to ensure that the alleged outcome is exactly what the poll creator desires. This involves not just biased wording, but the actual configurations of the poll. Then, when the results are presented as “100% of players agree with [something]” the truth is “100% of players who participated in the poll and whose votes were registered and whose input was not disqualified or disabled in some way agree with [something].”
So we’re not opposed to polls as a whole, but ask that they be of a positive, constructive, or even just plain ol’ fun nature.
could you ask please if it is possible to get newer statstics?
like some people mentioned anet did

This is on the short list of QoL that I would like to add. I’ll have to find some time to do this change. It’s not terribly difficult, it just involves a lot of recipes and testing.
We’ve identified additional accounts of players who were involved in account sharing and match manipulation.
We’ve given them dishonor for the remaining season for now. Our investigation is still underway, so additional action may be taken later, should we determine it appropriate.
This bug fix will be in the next patch.
If you have the 32-bit client already installed (in Applications) the data is shared there, otherwise (by default) it is stored within the 64-bit app.
This thread was locked in error, and I have reopened it.
When someone makes a relevant, contributing comment in an older thread, we should leave the thread open to see how it develops. Naturally, valueless comments wouldn’t be great, and they might result in a thread closure. But what happened here was perfectly fine. Someone actually went to the trouble of finding a thread (which ain’t easy without a search engine!) and adding meaningful content, and that’s just fine.
I will make sure that the moderator team is aware of our practices, so that a necro post without value is acted upon but relevant comments remain.
Apologies for the error!
In the past few seconds, I left the unranked queue in order to join a tournament team.
I was kicked into the loading screen for Super Adventure Box and landed outside the door to Rata Sum in Metrica province.
Sorry I wasn’t quick enough to get a screenie for the SAB loading screen.
I was standing atop the jumping puzzle when I exited the unranked queue. Sounds like something is seriously cross wired.
You probably clicked the Leave Queue button twice, which the second click would be clicking “Exit PvP Lobby”. If your character’s last map outside of the lobby was SAB, it would start to load that map but you would get redirected out to Rata Sum as the SAB event is no longer active.
