There’s an entire game out there that’s not level 80, so if anything I would hope that we can find ways to make lower level content more enticing instead of funneling everyone into a single zone.

Location: Loch JeztNPC still broken. (3+ weeks now) NPC just lays there dead. Unknown if it ever worked when server came up from update.
Sadly this one will be broken until our next update. The issue here was found after we got the fix in that I mentioned last week. Luckily, this is the only one that was affected by this issue.
Sadly Bill, your company seems to have lied to its customers. This was meant to be fixed in the update 2 days ago, according to the post 11 days ago.
The past couple updates were unscheduled emergency builds to address issues that came up. Our next scheduled content update build is the upcoming Halloween build. I do apologize for the confusion, but I assure you that the skill challenge will be fixed in that build.
Utcua the Griefing Frog will be fixed in the upcoming Halloween build, which will also include a boat load of other bug fixes on top of the fun new content

Hey I just bought GW2 and it says I have not validated my email address before I can log in through the game client. I do not understand what is going on it would be nice to play! Any help would be awesome!!!
It asks you if you want to use email authentication, but you are not required to do so. Simply click “cancel” and you will enter the game.

Do you have “Fast Cast Ground Targeting” turned on in the options panel? If you do, it’s trying to target your mouse cursor position, which is probably hovering over a point that’s too far.
Not entirely accurate Lindsey, a lot of recipe items were soulbound just after release, leaving me stuck with a couple of jeweller and artificer recipes on a character that did not have those professions.
Fair enough, but it was never the case that a recipe was account-wide, not character-based as suggested.
It appears that you are still unable to play. I asked a TS Rep to take a look at this and she recommended that you look at the response sent on October 14th and try the steps that they outlined then. Best of luck, and do let the team know if you need additional help.

Hi Fallanwolf – I think the issue here may be your mobile connection. While you may have been able to install on a different machine using the same connection, it’s not a stable and is an unsupported connection method.
Have you tried a different connection method to see if it resolves the issue for you?
There has been no price manipulation, there is a transaction fee, I don’t feel these are the same thing.
I just wanna know if there actually is any rule against me talking in my own language to others. And with that i mean talking in a normal fashion about whatever and not using it to insult people or do anything that’s inappropriate.
There is no rule against talking to others in your own language. If someone is being abusive towards you in-game for doing so, please right-click on their name and report them.

What we have now for gems is a completely fake free market – you guys made an algorithm that lets the trade value shift slightly – but the algorithm has aa strong attractor for the point you would prefer.
So what we mean when we say we want a free market is that people make sell and buy order for gems with no restrictions.
The intent of this was to provoke an academic debate over whether players thought a free market would be superior.
I’m not asking if you want a free market, I’m asking for players to discuss why or why not they think a free market would be better.

Hi Cetol – I want to rule out your actual internet vs your computer. There is a service called WTFast, https://www.wtfast.com/ its a proxy that should allow you to get those last files downloaded, they offer a free trial so if you would, try doing the download on that service and let me know if it goes through or not.

I am a little unclear about why some people are confused about the term “display name.” By it’s very title, isn’t it clear that it will be visible? What else would “display” mean in this context? (As noted above, there’s info available when setting it up.)
Character name changes will be offered in the Gem Store in the future. It’s not clear yet if or when we’ll offer display name changes, for a variety of reasons.

I just completed it with no issues. I’ll keep looking, but if I can’t reproduce the issue, I can’t give an ETA for an update.
EDIT: I’m now 0/3 trying to get this bug to happen, so I’m at a dead end. What’s your current objective (if any)? Do you see Rytlock and/or Steelbane? Where are they?

My card won’t work on the gem store….

They told me my card is on 5 different accounts… Which it shouldn’t be. All I want to do is increase my character slots and this is providing to be a huge hassle.

While we normally remove threads discussing forum moderation, this is a good opportunity to spread a little love. The posters above that have stated these forums are more heavily monitored/moderated than most are correct in their assumption.
The team takes pride in doing all we can to provide a fun and friendly environment so players can come together and discuss the game constructively. Not everyone will agree with each other and that’s fine. Not only is it fine, but it’s also healthy.
What’s not healthy is verbally attacking others and violating the Code of Conduct. The majority of our forum visitors abide the rules well. For those that don’t, you all can help. If someone makes you angry by violating a rule, rather than react and respond to them in kind, we’d greatly appreciate it if you’d just click the little black flag in the bottom right corner of the post in question. That sends a report to the Community Team allowing us to investigate the issue and take action if necessary.
