I wish I had more/better news, but like I said nothing has changed since my last post. Once I know that a retroactive fix is in place, I’ll let y’all know. (My guess is that they’ll mail out updated loot bags to people who have completed the final story step, but I don’t really know.)

Hi Vivik,
I’m sorry to hear that you found a duplicate dye to be frustrating. The Dye Packs are, indeed, random. However, you can sell your duplicate dye on the Trading Post or put it in your account bank to use on another character.
Thanks for reporting this. Have you opened a Customer Support ticket with us? Doing that will allow us to look at your account and characters to determine what has happened in regards to your transactions.
Is there any additional information you can provide on what you were doing prior to this occurring? Any information you can provide on skills you were using, buffs you received, or other specific actions you may have taken may help us track down what caused this.

“They went thataway” is several quests into the Order of Whispers storyline, it is part of a branch within the storyline so you might not have seen it with your other character. I’d have to know your race to know which step is the one where you picked an order, but the choice is made at the end of Chapter 3. (And you’re halfway through Chapter 4 now.)
Thanks for the reports! First, I want to clarify that the sigil does work: it does add the extra crit chance percentage. The bug lies in the fact that the UI does not chance to reflect this. that being said, we’re aware of this issue and it’s on our list of bugs to fix.

Is there a reason why my previous post (made 4 days ago on page 24) was ignored?
It doesn’t seem fair to me that posts after mine are being resolved while my guild member has been stuck waiting for 2 weeks now.
Your friend has not provided his serial code — an essential component of establishing ownership of an account. The team is working with him on this issue, and he responded with details on Friday that may allow them to resolve this now.

Hi there, I’d like to clarify a bit on this issue (and figured I’d do it in the original thread):
The size of the actual skill is the same, regardless of race. What I see in the video is that the asura’s first Shield of Absorption pushes back its maximum (and closest) 5 enemies, then the next Shield of Absorption pushes the rest out of the skill’s radius. The skill’s visual effect is what’s dependent on the size of the character and will be fixed shortly, but the actual area of the ability is static.

As many of you probably discovered, we did another batch of CE/DDE Item distributions on Friday. From this point on, any remaining issues will be handled individually.
If you deleted your CE or DDE items, please check your account/mail/characters to see if you received the items in one of the large-scale distributions. Replacements are one-per-customer, so we cannot re-replace items. Also note that if you used a one-time-use item, a new distribution will not give you a second use.

As noted above, the primary fix is in the 9/24 update, which isn’t out yet. (Typically, new builds go out around midnight PST.) There’s also some fixes in the 10/1 update to catch an endge case where it’s possible to complete the story objectives out of order.

What OS are you running?
Just to clarify, there are two issues here. Haligator, though you quoted this issue:
Dragging the mouse while holding down the left or right mouse buttons in order to change camera or character direction causes the mouse cursor to briefly appear in the middle of the screen.
It sounds like this is what you’re experiencing:
Logging out to the Launcher—either intentionally or due to a network error—and logging directly back in to the game causes mouse movement control functionality to break.
- If this happens, please quit the application completely and log back in normally.
This describes one of the causes of the camera spinning uncontrollably. As the note mentions, if you encounter this and can’t recover control of the camera, quitting out of the game entirely and starting it back up should solve the problem.
We’re actively seeking to fix both of these issues, but we definitely appreciate your reports of these other causes of the camera spinning!

To reiterate for the sake of Dwight and voltagecontrol, the NVIDIA 8600M GT and 9400M are both below our minimum requirements, and the performance you see with those GPUs is likely to be below below 20 FPS—regardless of your graphics settings. (And the Intel 3000 is the minimum for Intel GPUs.)
I should add for everyone else that when posting about performance or graphics issues, be sure to include the type of GPU your machine has. When it comes to hardware, CPU and GPU are the most important factors when discussing performance issues, followed by VRAM. RAM is perhaps the least important. Whether you have 4GB or 64 GB, you’re not likely to see any difference in performance. If you already have 4GB of RAM, lowering your resolution or graphics options will have a far greater impact than adding more RAM.
Another thing to consider is what other applications you may be running at the same time. I’m sure it’s obvious to most folks, but having a dozen browser tabs open in the background is not going to help your performance!

Well, if the software is external to the game that would be ok. Up to you if you want to use the pad and not the keyboard. However, we do not accept external software that somehow modifies the game internally (mods and so).

There’s one team that wrote the main story arc, and there’s another team (the official writing team) that went in to do editing/etc. for the story. I’m oversimplifying it, but you could look at the flow as:
1 Story writers determine what the high level concept of the story step is
2 Content designers (like me) go in and create the story step in game, and write placeholder text for everything
3 The writing team comes in to edit the text
Frankly, we had mixed results with this approach, which is why your feedback is important to us.
This is covered in another thread for the same story step… The 9/24 update has a fix for Trahearne stalling at the tomb entrance.
