Red, I am guessing you are talking about a ticket that has not been answered. If the ticket has more than five days, then please, post it here and it will be looked into. You can also enter into your customer support account, close your existing ticket and issuing a new one. In any case, do not write more than one as this will only slow down the process.

Did you try to disable your firewall and/or Anti-virus? This issue usually comes from these security applications.

We’ve made some changes to improve the black lion chests.
First, we’ve changed all tonics to be stackable and random. If you prefer a specific tonic, we’ve added mystic forge recipes for 3 mystery tonics and one extra item to transform mystery tonics into specific transformations.
We’ve also added a rare chance for a Permanent Banker, Trading Post NPC or Black Lion Merchant.

• Adjusted difficulty for the following story steps: “A Fragile Peace,” “Breaking the Bone Ship,” “Killing Fields,” “Political Homicide,” “Sabotage,” “Set to Blow,” “Stand By Your Krewe,” “The Ringmaster,” “The Stone Sheath,” “Track the Seraph,” “Unscheduled Delay,” “Unwelcome Visitors,” and “Welcome Home.”
• Fixed bugs in the following story steps: “A Fragile Peace,” “Against the Corruption,” “Bad Blood,” “Forging the Pact,” “Stand By Your Krewe,” and “Tower Down.”

Dungeons
General
• Updated vendors in the Ascalonian Catacombs and Caudecus’s Manor to sell level 80 versions of their unique skins rather than level 60 and 70. Players who purchased the level 60 and 70 versions will soon be given the opportunity to upgrade those to level 80 without having to use transmutation stones.
Citadel of Flame
• Fixed an exploit in Magg’s chain that was allowing players to skip the entire dungeon and still be rewarded.
• In Magg’s chain, if Magg happens to die in the lava field, he’ll teleport himself to the start of the area just outside it.
• In Magg’s chain, Magg must be much closer to things to draw their initial aggro. This only affects the escort to the magmacyte rock.
Caudecus’s Manor
• Fixed an exploit that was allowing players to skip content.
Honor of the Waves
• Fixed a bug in the Butcher’s chain that prevented a boss from spawning.
Arah
• Fixed a blocking issue.
Ascalonian Catacombs
• Fixed blocking bugs in Detha’s chain.
Dungeon Rewards
We’ve made some significant updates to dungeon rewards. I wanted to try and clarify them here. All of these changes have been the result of an original exploit which was letting players receive upwards of 20 levels by completing a single dungeon run. We initially closed this exploit, which caused some new problems. The result is this new system which should increase dungeon rewards for players who play though them normally but help curb inflation of rewards for those who are using exploitative methods to farm them.
1) Dungeon tokens are now rewarded at the end of an explorable chain. This was done to stop players from repeatedly entering a chain and farming the first boss that dropped tokens rather than playing the entire chain. At some point in the near future, we will make up for this by making dungeon tokens a rare drop so that even players who are not completing a chain can make partial progress toward the rewards.
2) Dungeons reward 20 tokens for completion and now reward an additional 40 tokens for the first time they are completed each day. This means that if players can complete all 3 chains of a dungeon in a day, they’ll receive a total of 180 tokens, which is enough to purchase some of the smaller rewards.
3) Dungeon tokens should be account bound. This will allow players to have a single character farm tokens for their other characters.
4) Last week, to limit the most extreme cases of dungeon speed-clearing, we introduced a system to limit rewards for rapidly repeating dungeon clears. However, a bug in that system caused it to impact more players than intended. This week, we’re updating the system to not impact clearing different chains of the same dungeon. We’ll continue to evaluate this system in coming weeks.

• Implemented a fix to make Heartseeker, Lightning Leap, Flame Leap, and Monarch’s Leap hit more reliably.
Elementalist
• Fixed bugs with Flamestrike and Ice Shards so they can’t be fired behind the player.
• Quick Glyphs: This Air Magic trait has been updated to apply 20% recharge reduction to the elite skill Glyph of Elementals.
Engineer
• Grenade Barrage: This Grenade Kit skill should now be usable underwater.
• Short Fuse: This trait is no longer overwritten by the Grenadier trait. Also, this trait now works with underwater grenades.
• Speedy Kits: Added a 5-second recharge to the trigger for this trait. This was to prevent players from exploiting it to gain vigor buffs of extreme duration.
• Invigorating Speed: Added a 5-second recharge to the trigger for this trait. This was to prevent players from exploiting it to gain vigor buffs of extreme duration.
Guardian
• Merciful Intervention: This skill has been updated to work with the Meditation Mastery trait. The tooltip for this skill has also been updated to display the healing amount when affected by traits.
• Elusive Power: This trait has been updated to not grant might when aegis was blocked.
Mesmer
• Fixed text on “readied” mantra buffs.
• Veil: This glamour skill has been updated to show the appropriate active duration when not affected by traits.
Necromancer
• Taste of Death: This skill’s healing fact has been updated.
• Spectral Wall: This skill has been updated to apply the correct amount of vulnerability (10).
• Vampiric: Fixed a bug with this trait so that it now functions with projectiles.
• Close to Death: This trait has been updated to provide its listed 20% boost instead of the previous (unlisted) 10% boost.
• Banshee’s Wail: This Curses trait has been updated to apply extra swiftness.
• Spectral Walk: This skill has been updated to be more active and to work properly with its recharge trait. Also, Sever Spectral Bond has been changed to Spectral Recall.
• Minion Master: This Death Magic trait has been updated to properly affect the elite skill Summon Flesh Golem.
• Putrid Mark: This skill has been fixed to make it properly unblockable with the Greater Marks trait.
• Mark of Evasion: This trait can now trigger the Soul Marks trait.
• Reaper’s Protection: This trait has been updated to properly work with a variety of crowd-control effects.
Thief
• Bountiful Theft: This strait has been fixed so that it doesn’t apply 15 seconds of vigor twice.
Races
Norn
• Call Wurm: Autocasting has been removed from this skill to prevent an exploit. Additionally, the skill may now be cast on the move.
Player versus Player
• Legacy of the Foefire: Fixed an exploit that was allowing players to teleport past one of the gates.
World versus World
• Experimental Rifle: This item is no longer usable in World versus World.

I believe the next build will contain fixes for 3D, including the inability to launch with 3D enabled. I’m not 100% sure, but we have some fixes for Nvidia Surround in the works too and might even slip a couple of those in that build, too.

Yes, Nvidia 3D vision is supported in full-screen only. We are looking into enabling this in windowed-fullscreen, too.
The issue brought up in the OP will be addressed in the next patch. Also make sure you are running in 120hz and with a 3D compatible display
.

Exactly. That password is “known” to hackers. Might not be your friend’s password, maybe someone else used it. But for an extra layer of security, we’re preventing it’s re-use.

I’m asking the same question with no response. My account has been “suspended” 3 times now.
Has it been hacked (accessed) three times, as well? If not, then we should take a look at what’s going on. If so, then the suspensions are designed as a measure of protection.
One comment: An account can be compromised (“hacked”) and reinstated, and then the actions taken by the hacker result in a lock-down. It’s unfortunate, and we do apologize if this happens to you, but sometimes that could happen. So I’m not asking in this thread if that happened to you. I’m asking for you guys to let me know if these are multiple locks for a single compromise — like hacked, reinstated, locked, and locked again.

First, yes, the account was locked down to protect it, just like your CC company may lock down your credit card to prevent it’s abuse.
Also, is the thread stickied above a joke? 3-5 days to fix things like this?
Guess that’s the flip side of free-to-play…
You misunderstand the purpose of that thread. Naturally, we’re responding more quickly the 5 days! I created and maintain the 5-day thread to give players another means to get in touch. Submitting a ticket should get you back on your account in a day or two. Maybe less. We’d like to do it instantly, but we have to go carefully because you better believe there are people out there who will try to “reclaim” your account.

Please fix the magmacyte and bomb planting parts of route 2, Robert. We can’t kill that many silver mobs that fast and Magg has no regard for his own life.
Tonight’s patch will see some better behavior from him, and some changes to make that event a bit more manageable. Magg dying in the lava, for instance, will get fixed.
We are aware of this problem, and we’re actively fixing it.
We do see these things as issues that harm the economy and are exploits to the game. These things are a big deal, and making hotfixes isn’t always a solution due to limitations.

Bypassing content by jump mashing against a wall isn’t what we wanted you to do.

Hello everyone.
The first boss you are talking about those adds are respawning on purpose. He spawns 3 adds on the left, and 3 adds on the right. Both of these sets are on an interval timer, so you have to kill them fast enough to have time to deal with just the boss before more come back.
The issue with the floor in the butcher room will be fixed with the next patch.

We have recently adjusted the sensitivity of the Guild Wars 2 e-mail authentication system to make it even more secure. One result of this change is that players may be briefly denied access to their account until they approve access from their current network.
If you attempted to sign in to the Guild Wars 2 game client or official website and were denied access, check your email for a notification from us. If you recognize the log-in attempt, follow the link in the email and select Remember this Network on the page.
Security Tips: If you receive an email asking you to approve a login attempt from an unknown network, don’t do it! It could be that someone attempted to log in using your username and password. Instead, change your password via https://account.guildwars2.com. Also, be on the lookout for phishing attempts that try to direct you to malicious websites. The official Guild Wars 2 domain is *.guildwars2.com, so check your browser to make sure that you’re in the right place.

If you find that you are unable to use your traditional mouse’s wheel to control the camera zoom, be sure to go into the options menu (F11) and disable the “Use scrolling gestures to change direction” option. This will re-enable the mouse wheel’s input.
By default, this option is enabled, turning off mouse-wheel input. This allows players with the Apple Magic Trackpad and the Apple Magic Mouse to use gestures to control camera movement. It also prevents Magic Mouse users from accidentally zooming the camera in or out with each touch of the Magic Mouse.
Currently, there is no in-game-camera or world-map zoom functionality for the Magic Mouse (as mentioned in the known issues). Until we are able to address this, we recommend that players turn off the scrolling gestures option to adjust the zoom, and re-enable the option to lock the zoom level.

At the moment, there’s no way to go back and repeat steps. It’s a popular request, but there are some technical issues that we’d need to solve first, so I don’t know if/when it be added.
I mentioned this in the other thread, but I’ll mention it here too. If you click when grey, it removes your +1 from that post. However, if the button is not turning grey, or is returning to red after having been grey, these are behaviors that we would like to know about, as if they are happening, they are not intended.

Hi Reece,
I was surprised to see your post. Other folks in the office here often walk by my desk and comment on how vivid and vibrant the game world appears on the my iMac and MacBooks (which obviously have built-in Apple monitors). Since I don’t know what kind of Mac you’re using, I’m not positive what you can do about this, but others have posted two good suggestions and I have one more.
First, I would try adjusting the brightness in the “Displays” panel of the System Preferences. I have the slider on my iMac cranked up all the way to the right.
As others have suggested, I would also check your color profile, which is likewise located in the “Displays” panel (though you’ll need to click on the “Color” tab). Depending on your machine, the default profile might be called “iMac” or “Color LCD.” If you use a special profile for CMYK printing or some other purpose, there’s a good chance that this might be having a negative effect on the appearance of the game.
Finally, I would try tweaking the in-game Full-Screen Gamma. I have mine set to 1.20, and as you’ve seen, it’s easy to over do this, making for a washed out appearance, so you’ll want to make small adjustments.
