Since i can’t find the player support forum (you guys forgot to add it?) i’m posting here.

I’ve claimed Inferno’s Needle in Edge of the Mists but didn’t get the respective trait awarded to me. Can i get it please?

I wasn’t able to play season 1 because of performance issues. Any way to select S1 and replay it? I have no idea who scarlet or marjorie are… Or any of these characters. A lot is happenning and the events assume i know everything but i dont. I know none of these characters…

I would love to go back and replay it properly before continuing with S2.

So yeah, any word on a fix?

Questions:

1. Is this mask infinite uses?
2. Once i use it can i transmute any helmet with the current wardrobe system (skin becomes unlocked like any other skin)?
3. Can it be dyed or still can’t be?

It does give a warning that upgrading it will cause it to be soulbound. Unfortunately people do sometimes ignore these.

No it doesn’t. It gives a warning for it to be account-bound.

Did you add an upgrade to the weapon? That will soul-bind it to the character that added the upgrade.

Yes, ive’ added two sigils. I didn’t know that would soulbind it……… welp, no point in trying i guess…

I’ve crafted a weapon for my alt and put it in bank to transfer. But when i log into my alt it says it’s soulbound??? What gives? I want my money back (in game money that is)!

When i go into Arah dungeon with this quest i get an error “This is not your active story. Any progress made in this instance will not be saved.”

I tried solo and in a group, group members reported the same error. Tried switching quest and back to it and no results.

Same here! Just got Victory or Death quest for the dungeon and getting that. Really killed the flow

Any way to permanently minimise or remove the green popup quest thingie on the top right corner? It keeps maximising itself and minimising other quests i want to see. For example my daily or local events are constantly being minimised and i have to minimise the WELCOME HOME green personal quest to maximise the ones i realy want.

So this is what happened to me:
-I logged in, the event started, massive lag couldnt do anything. Logged out of frustration.
-Later log back in for the next stage, aparently i have to get on a ship to some new island for no reason.
-Got on the island -> massive lag, same as before. Ragequit in frustration.
-Logged in now, island is empty, no events, couple people on /map complaining how bad the event was.

So i’ve got a few questions:
-There was some sort of wreckage i had to pick up? didnt find any, didnt know why, seemed irrelevant anyway since the event progressed without it anyway.
-Why was the trebuche important? I thought some player managed to bug it and plant it in middle of lions arch.
-Why was the lighthouse destroyed? never explained… Why should i care anyway?
-I heard some nasty boss with special armor was around we had to kill, never found him…
-I was supposed to deliver materials to help the recostruction effort (recostruction of what? Lion’s Arch didn’t suffer any damage apart from that useless lighthouse), i got to the forge but couldnt find a way to donate the materials anywhere, there was an item sold by miyani (misspelled) but that item didnt do anything.
-Visited fractals dungeon. seems nice, will play it later.
-Ive heard some people hit the jackpot on the event and got massive advantage over other players in terms of loot/legendaries simply because they got lucky with not having lag. This realy discourages me from playing…

So i missed the whole event, with nothing but frustration. I’ve missed all the rewards and … well i don’t realy feel like playing anymore.

So i got a group for SE, party leader disconnects mid dungeon, we finish it with 4 people up to the final boss then one of ours couldnt get into the dungeon (after DCing he kept spawning a new dungeon instead of joining ours), i left to LA to get a 5th person, when we go back in we cant join our almost completed dungeon.

kitten??? we spend hours in that crap and at the final boss the game decides that, because the original party leader disconnected and left the party we cant join back into the same? fix your kittens because its puppies annoying and frustrating to waste so much time for nothing!!

I think it is quite a big bug, the skill doesn’t do damage.

I got it, you can easily do it by compelting a lvl 80 dungeon (it gives over 100k exp when you finish)

It should yell YARR indeed, btw may i sugest you use 5/6 pirate and plomp an explorer 1/6 rune instead? That way you get more magic find.

Fix that please! Bugs out every single time unless the target is immobilised or already attacking a stationary target. The NPC always moves erradicly and avoids the swing from Rush.

Disable Map channel. (genius!)

If you realy want map chat make a third tab with map channel. That way you don’t get spammed with gold sellers while still able to check on map chat if you realy need to.

Then anet should fix the tooltip or the ability! :s

That’s not what the tooltip says, it says it gives me a boon every 10 seconds and it doesn’t. Hence it’s not working. If it’s only in combat then i want my skillpoint back because that’s not what i wanted.

It isn’t giving random boons, it just sits there doing nothing. It is supposed to give a random boon every 10 seconds but nothing happens.

Anyone else agrees?

Happened to me to, completly discouraged me from even bothering with any of those dragons or chains, 100%’ing the zones is probably the most ill do and skip all those useless events.

I stopped reporting them, i simply block them because i cba doing the whole report thing

I stopped bothering with dyes because they aren’t account bound. I consume the odd dye i may randomly find but i’ll never waste money on them because i can’t have them on my alts.

The logic of it all defeats me. Why would they do Dragon’s Tooth a target aoe when you actually need it to be manually targetted because the idiot mobs run around alll the time, yet things like lava field arent…..

I don’t trade with players at all, i only use the TP at most. Why? Because mail doesn’t have a COD option so i won’t be selling anything. In fact at the start of the game i didn’t sell anything that people asked because there is no way i can sell it to them.

I made a few jute bolts and someone wanted to buy overpriced and i was eager to sell them – only i couldn’t because neither could i COD the bolts to them nor i could trade with them directly.

I think SWTOR has this system, where players report gold sellers and the chat automaticly learns which codes and phrases to detect and intercept to prevent from it showing up on the chat. WoW also has a couple addons that do this.

Basicly whenever i report a player the chat system scans the message. From thousands of reports it will learn which common words are used and automaticly blocks all messages that contain those keyword combinations. That way, in time, gold sellers won’t be able to post messages.

Obviously some of them will do creative typing like “se11ing G!O!L!D www . hax[ ] web si te (dot) CoM” but those cases will be reported by players and, since there are far fewer spam reports, it would be easier to catch them sooner.

Basicly most of the chat spam would cease, and those that make it through the filter get caught alot faster (since the total amount of reports will be alot less).

When i report a player in the chat i don’t want to mess up with some options on how to report which doesn’t even include the very option we all use to report gold sellers.

Please remove the whole confirmation window and simply block and remove all chat lines of that player.

On gandara EU, npc unavailable.

i run this at 60fps with a 700 euro computer. Had absolutely no problems. People are just careless and install 300 things on their computers with 70 processes running. Learn to manage your PC before complaining.

I suddently started having these problems aswel, can’t play the game for longer than 2-3 minutes.

Gotten disconnected a few times, error 7:1000:7006:771:101

The title. Nothing happens when i change to invisible status. I’m still visible in the guilds, still visible in friends list, the button itself resets back to Online after i close the window.

That is realy stupid on Anet’s part. I guess they don’t read carefully…

The sole reason i stopped using conjured weapons. As much as i love them i cant be arsed to switch it every spawn.

Agree, had the same problem with SWTOR which was one of the reasons why i quit is that i couldn’t do the personal story all the way to the end because they never give enough EXP.

While i AM having a ton of fun doing it on my main character i probably will never do it again on any second or third character. And with that i will probably never do another storyline quest unless i level that character to 60 in WvW or something because i don’t want to stop doing the personal quest due to low level.

If there is some way to speed up leveling on subquecent characters so i don’t have to farm events all the way up to 80 AGAIN and stick mostly to personal quests then i’d be fine with leveling many characters and buying character slots and boosters, but so far i don’t see any “heirlooms” so i’ll probably just stick to sPvP and WvW on alts and perhaps some day in the future when one of them is lvl 70 ill do the personal storyline to hit 80 with it.

In triumph Plaza @ Gandara server there is a stuck event which can’t be completed.

“Escort the northern invasion Pact squad to the Part rally point at Triumph Plaza” – the NPCs are stuck in a wall and not moving.

During my human priory quest where i save potential recruits from the krait underwater (with the boss with two sharks) i get disconnected and have to repeat the quest all the time.

Thanks for the report; can you provide the code you’re receiving when you disconnect? Also, do you disconnect at a specific point/is there something you do that causes you to DC?

I was able to complete it the next time i did it, but i suspect it was something to do with connection to the server that caused a crash.

Nevertheless it was annoying mostly because elementalists are so weak underwater, their spells are worthless except the two earth ones that do bleeds, even then no defence…

The underwater part is REALY annoying because all my spells are very weak (im overleveld with good gear) so it takes so much time to kill anything, not to mention very hard to target because they keep moving around and i often die to simply not doing enough damage because water elementalist skills are too weak.

I didn’t have any problems with my ele, in fact i did the battle in the island castle (no spoilers!) 3 levels below and managed just fine. Youre probably killing the enemies too slowly, focusing too much on CC.

Ive sold some copper ore to test it and it sold instantly and gave me the selling money, yet i still didnt get anything from other expensive things, im stuck now

working as intended, you get random drops for your own level even at lower levels

Same here, can’t seem to buy stuff, pressing BUY simply doesnt do anything
