This outfit looks nothing like a mursaat, the only thing that makes it kinda sorta pass as a mursaat are the wings which aren’t even part of the outfit. The female version should be named something else if it’s not gonna look anything like a mursaat -_-

The problem was that the CloudFront (our CDN provider) edge nodes in St Louis were not able to communicate with our backend server. We are contacting our internet provider to get it resolved. For now, we are routing the traffic through a different provider.

OK, my isp is CentruyLink, everything on my computer works fine including GW original. Everything is good. EXCEPT GW2. I reformatted my hard disc to clean it all up and now can NOT download even the download client. “connection error detected…retrying….” is the story. Tried most of the fixes posted here. Considering that everything works BUT GW2, I am concluding it is their problem. I do understand not responding to small outages as it is not economical but I suspect they will lose some loyal fans soon. Including me.
Oh, IT’S DEFINITELY a problem caused by ANET even if they won’t admit it, it’s something in their coding that isn’t liked by certain connections.

I am also still having this problem, I have tried doing the steps outlined but nothing I did(including using the exe installer for said steps) worked for me, can’t figure it out I guess, awaiting fix by ANET.

Easiest is to find the date that brought that feature. I think it was around December 10th last year. Then count the number of days including the day it was released. A Julian calendar can assist with this. You could also just count the number of days until that date this year and subtract it from 365.
Typing login tracker, login, or tracker brings up nothing on it(and they say it works fine, pfffft), SO, I will ask even though I KNOW there is a thread already started on this.

the necro Obsidian armor looked to cool. it was fun making them because you had to clear a big part of FOW to even get to the guy to forge them for you. not to mention getting all the ecto and Obsidian shards ( they were a lot harder to come by in gw1 )
and more heavy armor that doesn’t have skirts for my female guard…lol
We should be so lucky to see any of the fabulous work done in GW1 here in GW2, that would be too much of the right thing to do.

I gotta admit…I was worried about the LA rebuild since I really liked the pirate/ship theme from the beginning so much…but the new LA is absolutely amazing.
The town feels more open than ever and I imagine it’s even better for roleplayers with things like the wedding arch and stage.
If anyone from ANet is reading this, please give the designers of this area a hug for me (or at least a high five, lol).
This expansion should be free like other’s mmo …..not payable….
NAME JUST ONE mmo that is B2P or P2P that has free expansions. You haven’t played many MMO’s I take it.
As far as I know the only MMO that meets those criteria is EVE Online. EVE has a monthly fee but all expansions are free.
I know that WoW has a monthly fee and I’m pretty sure (I’ve never played it, you understand, but that’s what I gather from my Blizzard storefront) that you also pay for individual expansions, which strikes me is stupid.
I’m perfectly happy to give Anet my money once for the game and then again for the expansion, because even paying for twenty expansions will still not cost me as much as EVE has over the years.
I am concerned, however – is the expansion required? I mean, it’s not something that’s ever come up in EVE, where you either get the free expansion or you don’t play the game, but if people have to buy the expansion or lose access to the base game that would be a bit kitten.
Eve business model is like AA a mixture of both subscription and free to play.

It is not bannable since 1 click on the scroll wheel is equal to 1 click on the mouse button thus it doesn’t break the rule of 1 action per button press rule. Mousewheel just allows you to click at a much higher rate.
Scroll wheel only clicks because of a PHYSICAL MECHANISM inside the mouse itself, the mouse I use(Logitech G9x) there is a button on the underside that you press and the scroll wheel will LITERALLY SPIN for almost a minute if you spin it with gusto. -LOL

i was doing the JP in Ashford plains the other day (the one near the Bandits camp). i came almost to the end, when the npc that spawns there knocked me over the edge and i died.
so besides being frustrating, i was thinking why isn’t it possible to knock mobs over? every time i try this, they seem to hit an invisible barrier that prevents them from falling. how ’bout some equality, A.net??? gravity should affect mobs too.
I asked “them” this very same question not long after launch and it went TOTALLY IGNORED by “them”, good luck on getting “them” to answer you.

I enjoyed GW1, and my main character an Elementalist was the only character I realy got a connection too… All my other character was cool and I made a story for them sure… But it is no different there for me in GW2 as all my characters are decendants to my old characters and I have made stories for them too and actually thanks to the open world and more advanced mechanics I have a better connection to my GW2 characters. As I play the game and do the Living story I evolve my characters own stories and I base my answers to their personality, it does not always work but it is something atleast.
In GW1 I more or less used the same skills and setup through all my time while playing the game… Why I had to change was becouse of introduction of new skills or fixes to old skills. I see no difference in GW1 and GW2 build making in posabilities, it is all the same but the only difference is there are more skills in GW1 than in GW2 but there are still more or less the same ammount of viable builds.
I picked up GW1 a few months ago as I was going to show my girlfriend the game I played it for about 10min and just couldn’t continue… I just couldn’t find the feel for it anymore, everything fealt so stale and it was so slow and more… I just couldn’t continue. I wan’t to becouse I want more in my HoM but as I don’t have the feel for it, it will just feel like work.
Why is it that in your first paragraph you tout yourself as having enjoyed GW1 making it sound like you were in GW1 for a while and in your last paragraph you say you picked the game up a few months ago and say; “everything fealt so stale, slow and more”. You’re being a tad contradictory aren’t you? I have played GW1 for 7+ years and still play it to this day
The italicized and underlined portion of your reply is so wrong in that on just one of my characters(my Ranger) I have over 200 unique and cookie cutter builds, there is no way in hell you can get ANYWHERE NEAR that in GW2.
