Because what we all wanted to do was go back for the old content on the first day of the new content. That just sounds like so much fun!

That is Anet for ya though! I mean look at how many things use charge lodestones in the bloody game. They have all these resources that never get used but instead of tapping them they keep throwing charged lodestones into the mix even for tonics. It is sad really it is like they are out of touch with their own game sometimes.

Really Anet? Just really? Can we please get over this trying to do the bloody human female sexy thing on a female Charr. The female Charr do not have breast flesh or smooth flowing arms or any of that generic garbage. Trying to do that with clothing on a female Charr always makes it look terrible even under the best of circumstances. It was bad enough with the ballroom dress on a female Charr over the suit but this? The cleavage opening and skirt just look ugly as sin and poorly done on a female charr.

Can we please go back to what you were doing at the release of the game and give the female charr the same armor as the males because it looks kitten and cool. Let the people play this game for TNA continue to roll female humans and norns. Let the rest of us be free of that and continue our love of amazing well done designs.

I do not know who is in charge of your gem store right now but walk over to their department and give them a disappointed and or dirty look for me because it needs to be given. Another lost gem sale here AGAIN.

There was already talk of the Krait and Quaggan being kicked out of the deep sea by an unknown force before this even happened. Bubbles was already awake or just on the move as Bubbles stirred. This was the jungle dragon because all the clues point that way. Thinking anything else is just wishful thinking and this idea was pointed out very very early in the living story.

Liked the design of the event and the mechanics of the fight. However the story did end in probably the most plain choice it could have ended with. It’s beating a dead horse but just glad it’s over and maybe now we can move on from Scarlet with only the fight mechanics moving forward with us.

Not going to lie tuned most of it out and was highly annoyed being forced to sit through the cinematic a few times just to get that one achievement.

All I got for trying to do the event and not getting loot most of the time even though I was often first there several times. Is that once again it is a better idea to farm dungeons and once again just buy everything with gold then it is to actually do the event.

Ack my feels! The quota for the week is overflowing! Sad that people have been so lousy to you though and place such value on first glance opinions when they know nothing about you. So many things can happen to a human body that have no real visible signs. A real shame nobody came to your defense against those people bothering you as well. =/

People who think LA needs to stay because it is important to have one all important HUB city that does everything in a MMORPG are dead wrong. Several games have done without it by introducing features that made other cities just as relevant as a HUB could be. A hub city is just a convenience nothing more and one that can be replicated elsewhere.

We have a chance in GW2 for a truly changing world that can lose even a major city and keep going. That is incredible and a great step forward for MMORPG’s everywhere because most MMO worlds never change because people are so vitriol about it. They want the status quo to never change so they can be on top, they know the layouts, they think their current build is the greatest ever. What reason it often holds games back because of how afraid selfish and vocal they can it. If they truly destroy LA you need to think about how many possibilities that opens up for the game in general. It means anything could happen now including other major city invasions that change their layouts. That is just awesome!

Besides the mystic forge and the order stories everything else can be done in another major city. They’ve already said one of the greatest mistakes they made was tying the personal story so much into Orr that changing it would ruin it for others new to the game. It made it hard to make changes but they said they had a possible solution. Using the fractals they can have players go in there and see that story as if they already did it in the past themselves. While the world at large continues to change at large. The consortium built that portal pretty sure they can make another for us to use somewhere else and it would no different going to it then any other dungeon.

Another change would be linking all the major cities map chats together. So you’d miss nothing of the social aspect. Other MMORPG’s like WoW have done this and it works great and the population gets to support or stay in the city they want rather then always the hub because they worry they might miss something.

WvW portals in the Vigil keep make perfect sense for the aesthetics of having portals of war. Plus you can queue up from anywhere already anyways. So that really isn’t a big loss.

Major holiday features could be made for every major city instead of just LA or the Vigil Keep could bring a new take to it. Such as the way we fight off the Bloody Prince or Mad King and they wouldn’t have to worry about justifying the damage repairs to something like the Lion statue. You wanted holidays to change and evolve well here is your chance to get that. Don’t blow it by asking for things like LA to never change.

Once again you think only LA has history with GW1 but many of the cities today are built on history from GW1. The searing, refugees, the outpost that became an Asura capital, a tree grown with great care by two different races on a mass grave, the great migration of the Norn where the spirits aided them and some of them DIED. This history is waiting to be tapped and moving the focus to these side cities can let that happen.

The books are an evolving story as well and in a series cities get destroyed and people die. The story can’t grow without these things happening. Just because something was used in a book doesn’t mean it gets a get out of jail free card on any changes.

This can be a fun ride even if it is tied to (gag) Scarlet. Let it happen.

Honestly? I love the idea of the dynamic world and that we can lose major cities within the game. It does make the world feel very alive and I look forward to more of this in the future.

However due to the fact that it is tied into the Scarlet story arc which does nothing but give me a headache each time I try to read it. I just do not care anymore and if anything I saddened that our first what looks to be major change that is just awesome is tied into such a horrid arc and it is unlikely I will read or listen to any of it. I’m done giving the current story in GW2 chances.

The sad part is there is some good elements mixed in like Braham and Taimi (Even if she has so much makeup on she looks like a fake little doll). The hinting of glint and the sanctum event and the second Southsun Cove event with the queen was loads of fun but they just can’t make up for the massive fail that is Scarlet with these other elements. She robbed so many villains of agency and made many of them into bad jokes in the players eyes. So using them later on their own is going to be kinda hard because that kinda taint sticks around in people heads.

There are many great elements to this game but the major story segments with Scarlet are not it. If I wanted to see the current writers at their best I’d walk around and listen to the many npc’s talk to each other in their conversations or see the segments that happen during dynamic events. They shine like mad there but they stink currently at making an interesting major villain.

This doesn’t even cover where she gets the resources to go into the mists all the time. All the clockworks that keep getting built after the jubilee ended. How she keeps outpacing every major faction in the game and the Pact itself which would have shifted some of it’s forces after the fall of Zhaitan. How people like the Order of Whispers who have been noted as having the largest spy network to ever exist in Tyria magically never find out anything about her till it is to late. Where the bloody steam creatures come from constantly which boggles even the Priory which I’d like to hope a group of the brightest minds in all of Tyria could figure that one out. Especially when Scarlet is just ONE person. Yet despite constantly losing resources she can launch an assault on one of the largest cities in the game as if it was nothing. The Pact and all the other races with an investment in LA which it has been made clear the orders care about LA and even the Charr likes to Evon and the Ash Legion have an invested interest in it. Oh.. and the Vigil barracks in the south of the city are nowhere to be found?

She pulls a massive amount of resources from nowhere that under the guidelines of the story where stuff like infinite money for vendors is removed makes little sense. I get that you have to suspend your disbelief somewhat all the time for things to work out in many movies books and games. However even they have limits on how much they ask of you if they are any good. We’ve long sense crossed that line with Scarlet.

I’d rather they have broken up the story with other villains attacking or more stuff like SaB so it was given more time to make sense then the giant Mary Sue they put into the game. It took WoW more then a single year to make me stop caring about it’s lore and while GW1 did stumble here and there it did get back up and kept itself interesting.

I stay for the gameplay and stuff like SaB. I certainly do not stay for the story in the game anymore. Saladbog boy might have been a little boring but he was the games learning experience in my eyes and they had a chance to improve on him later. I hated him but at least I could work out how he did things even if I didn’t like it.

Toxic Alliance:
(Just like the Molten Alliance the reasons for the alliance not making sense have been beaten like a dead horse so not covering it) So Divinity’s Reach during the Queens Jubilee gets attacked and thus Scarlet makes yet another major nation it’s enemy so you know they are looking out for her and have soldiers fighting the centaur all the time in Kessix Hills. Yet none of them notice one of the largest sources of lumber near them just being harvested in mass to build a crazy sized tower? Yes, the tower itself was hidden but they had to leave it to come and get lumber. Lumber that the centaur also claim and are far more aggressive about protecting it but yet not even they noticed it being stolen out of their backyard? You know the race that makes EVERYTHING it has from WOOD.

So not only does it go unnoticed but you can easily say it failed in the eyes of the Krait because they got no prophet from it and the Krait are not fools. They’ve existed as a scourge to many of the powerful races at sea for a long time now and are some of the most powerful magic users around. Yet when what is promised to them proven to be a lie they just stick around? Despite losing so many of their own kind from the tower falling.

The Invasions and the giant puppet:
So both of these it is safe to say take up massive amounts of her forces from all of her factions except Toxic for the invasions. So once again even if they only happen -once- per area because it is noted in the story she was attacking more then one area. She loses even more resources in terms of minerals/magic and manpower. Yet everyone still sticks with her and once again she uses more resources then most of the races could ever hope to harvest in such a short span of time for her giant puppet. A puppet I will remind you that got heavily injured and cost her more forces just so she could -test- it.

Inquest:
I think it is safe to say at this point she would have offended the Inquest greatly. She stole technology from them, used them, betrayed them, ruined one of their biggest experiments during KUDU’S leadership. So they’d be annoyed from her before the Aetherblades were ever formed let alone much later when they are formed. Yet Kudu one of the smartest Asura around for awhile failed to notice Scarlet’s involvement at the reactor and her stealing of technology? You’d have to assume his Lt’s would know something like this so upon his death when they took over why would they trust her at all? Why would some of the most vindictive people in all of Tyria keep joining together with her when they get nothing out of it every single bloody time! Plus why do the Inquest not have a kill on sight policy with Scarlet yet based off of the fact they are that vindictive.

The Inquest only do things when they feel they will come out ahead and so far that hasn’t happened with Scarlet and it in fact has set them back more. One of the largest villain factions that exist in the game if you go off the bases they build. Just takes it all in stride.

I think some people here really have what is in the game for gameplay and story reasons mixed up pretty hardcore. Most of them seem to be the ones in defense of Scarlet as well that think this way.

You see something in the game like waypoints, respawning enemies, and unlimited merchant cash are that way so the game continues on for everyone. These elements are not to be taken seriously at all and only a fool would try to use them as a counter point defense. Elements like these poof once you get into the story and suddenly there will be only one hero, one commander, and you will have to walk everywhere as you did in the personal story.

Molten Alliance:
The dead horse of how little sense this makes has been beaten to death but those saying it ran for months as a justification for all the weapons it made are still stretching it. If you remember we destroyed far more then one because Rox and Braham at the end talk about calling each other each time a new one is found. Now each one isn’t going to have giant huge bosses at the end of it but still it is safe to assume you killed several of them and they were massive.

So you have to factor in the weapons lost still inside them, the minerals lost inside them, the troops that died inside them, their secret major modified versions of themselves were destroyed, they lost leaders in the molten alliance. Not to mention the resources lost when they attacked two nations and people fought back. Even if they operated for months this is a major setback if you compare it to any war that has ever occurred where you lost a major supply line. Whatever is left over would be what you had and when you lose the item there isn’t a replacement coming right away.

Not to mention when you speak to those who got captured they were IRATE about being tricked and losing so much of their forces. Which would be a large setback to a faction within a faction that already had smaller numbers and -allied- to start with to bolster against fact.

Aetherblades:
I’d love to know where she got all these ships because she only stole a few of them and the Pact is a fairly new organization only a few years old. I highly doubt one of the most powerful military organizations on the planet would take it’s ships getting stolen lightly nor would it let that many get stolen. Lets not even touch on how these ships are a combination of several different races technology combined together by some of the best minds and blacksmiths on the planet. So Scarlet reverse engineering them to build is as a MASSIVE eye brow raiser so that she can build more later in a secret base in TA. A place mind you that was already attacked and routed a little of the Nightmare Court so it would be monitored but she did this all in -secret- despite that.

Then there is the LA base… you know right next door to a place run by pirates/criminals with a thriving black market. You are telling me that the Vigil which has a base there, the massive population in LA of all races, the pirates, the underground black market, the order of whispers which has a major hidden base inside LA didn’t notice a MASSIVE amount of parts just being airlifted or smuggled in?

She uses these Aetherblade for almost everything as well with their ships. Each time losing more ships and people. Why would anyone keep joining an organization that loses 9 out 10 of it’s soldiers every other week?! One that keeps losing it’s larger bases as well. Seems to me like they’d join a regular pirate or raiding group to hit smaller targets to get rich and you know LIVE instead of serving someone who is insane.

I think they should have left it in because getting level 30 is pretty bloody easy and if someone from WvW wants a legendary? They have to do an over the top amount of PvE content so they can make one and that isn’t quite fair. So we have to WvW a little it isn’t that bad you can get 30 levels in two days in EotM there is much stuff flipping back and forth.

There are two easy solutions to both problems regarding EotM and both will probably be a butt too work into the game.

The waypoints in EotM will either need to cost something like silver or you will need to be flat out dead to use them. Sadly this would spill over to the normal WvW but it would be nice if it was only in EotM so it hit the cowards where it hurt.

The other issue is that people dive off the edge to deny you WvW experience because you do not get credit or full credit when they do jump off. There is any solution to that one and I have seen it done in other games. When someone suicides you still give FULL and I do mean FULL credit to the one that tagged them experience. So their cowardly smug little butt will actually be made to fight in WvW. Which is what it is in the bloody game for and if another player killing them makes them that annoyed/rage induced they always have to suicide so they feel like they are denying that other player some big thing so they feel all special. That player shouldn’t be there anyways and their opinion really doesn’t matter so lets give the WvW there to actually fight the reward they came into WvW to fight for.

Every side has a special item you pay 25 badges for and in EotM if you are not earning that back in 10 minutes or less you are doing it wrong. Now what actually needs to be changed on it is the ability to use it when I want it like the other two items. Rather then being forced into using it asap before I even get near the area I desire to use it in. As it stands right now being forced to use it and then having to walk where you need to go in the form is suicide.

Been there done that. The only other game that was similar to GW2 was daoc…in terms of 3 way WvW. They also made the mistake of spreading out their WvW action with additional zones.

Eotm will also prove to be a mistake. You fix something by making it better, not adding another zone to water down the WvW population.

(I say this as someone looking at it from a business standpoint so don’t take it wrong.)

Thing is you have to remember they didn’t add it for any of us and they said that straight up more or less. They added it for China because lets be honest here. When it comes to money and online gaming China is so easy to milk for cash you’d be dumb not to tap it. There is a huge swath of suckers over there waiting to be parted from their cash that dwarfs anything we have the west on the sucker market. If a bad nasty online grind till your fingers turned to dust game can make it over there. Then a fun polished game like GW2 is going to take all their cash so fast they will homeless the day it releases from throwing money at it.

We have to face the facts peeps. Now that there is a greater market of suckers to be parted from their cash in another market and it is much easier to do so then in any western market. There is going to be more content made to deal with things like the MASSIVE overflows China will have of players who queue for WvW. It may impact things like WvW in many games maybe not in the greatest way but it is what it is.

I do love EotM though and not just because it is new but because I actually have fun. Even though it really is the same size as other WvW maps? This one actually has places for me to ditch players, funner items to use, a center spot for living story content, is more then a flat open field with random giant holes with supply depots in them, it is just better. The normal borderlands just don’t give me that. I do hate to say it but the other borderlands are kinda bland and just do not have staying power in my eyes.

I tend to not mind them when they are done right. A little nuanced so you grow more comfortable with it before you even realize they were a couple or a dynamic developed between the characters before they even stepped into that zone. Just little things that make it work that I am not that good at describing really.

The relationship between Kasmeer and Marjory though to me stinks. Not because they are lesbians but instead because it feels forced or even dare I say it fanservice like. The entire relationship feels rushed in and the chat between the two implying it all is as blunt as a metal bat being swung by a pro with a clear shot at the side of your head. The jokes about her being naked as well using illusions with the way she is dressed? It seems less like a healthy relationship you wanna root for and more like frat boys wet dream about how a lesbian relationship actually works. It’s just bad and it makes me happy I started tuning out the story months ago due to Scarlet and that I speed read through most of skimming hard.

I just do not get how they can write something so blunt like that or bad like Scarlet. When you turn around and see the dynamic between Rox and Braham developing into something interesting (Even if Rox is still just an anime cat with a background ripped out of a Disney movie.). That and the latest story between Taimi and Braham in the mists is great (Even more so if you white out the Scarlet bits.). I really don’t feel like her disability is being shoved in my face but rather just a part of her that is just there. Just wish she didn’t look like one of those doll kids with all that makeup because it does kill it a little.

@ KorKor… have you seen this update? Maybe he has taken how players feel into consideration, and you will be immensely pleased when you finally partake. Cool it, and don’t denounce it until you’ve seen it for yourself.

The track record of the Scarlet arc isn’t very good though and the history of the larger story in general with GW2 is dubious. While the smaller type stories have often been done quite well. So they track record speaks for itself and even if abit harsh I stand by what I said. Plus even if on the off chance it is done really well one segment of a movie/book/game being amazing never makes up for the rest.

It does seem like they want to make her into a future ally that sticks around helping us from jail or because she was quote -saved- from the madness. That or someone that used the madness to perform a good deed or even sacrifices herself at the last moment in some heroic way for us redeeming herself.

Personally all those outcomes make me want to vomit in my mouth but if I had to be stuck with one I’d prefer her dead. So I no longer have to see the poorly written/implemented character ever again except in passing. Enough agency has been robbed from other villains and hero’s in this game already. We do not need that to keep happening every month.

So far that has kinda been the theme about every post on Scarlet. Kinda thought being that biased was a bad thing really. Not really trying to be mean but just how I feel about it. I kinda think you guys are so involved in your story that you’ve put a pretty hefty set of blinders on about how people really feel about it and how good it actually is in it’s current setup.

I mean there are quite a few side stories you guys have written for dynamic events, smaller characters, races, just little things in general. Such as the story that didn’t make it in about the Kodan and the Skritt who wanted to understand them but when the others left he became dumb again. So the poor Skritt was denied happiness and it was short and quite touching. Just like so many other smaller stories you guys have written.

It really seems when it comes to smaller segment stories you guys shine like mad and one can really feel what you wanted to do and feel for the characters in general. The old less is more bit I suppose. Point is I applaud much of your other smaller work throughout the game and enjoy it greatly. However your living story work with Scarlet just makes me want to stop playing the game or give up any interest in your story telling at all because it is just a mess to me. It feels like you just write what you want regardless of if it even makes sense to the world in which you have created. Much like what the WoW lore has been doing for years and why that lore has become so terrible and of fanfiction quality level. When before it was something you cared about and it’s outcome.

I really wish you’d stop trying to make us like something that feels like it was written by a single person with only them in mind and instead get back into the story telling that well to borrow a meme for a moment. Hits me in the feels like the Skritt and the Kodan bit that didn’t even make it in. A story that feels like it was written for everyone and one that someone besides the writer feels that it was made with lots of love and care.

JQ still does it at reset and the next one after that but you need to be an hour or so early to get onto the main server and not one of the terrible overflows.

I’ve done warden 3 quite a few times trying to get Marionette Short-Circuiter and each time I did not get credit. I’ve dodged, I’ve avoided going down, I’ve had teams fail, I’ve killed it with success at all 5 platforms, I’ve went down from the warden but not gotten hit by the attack. I got three of them quite easy some actively avoiding and others just outright not even dodging them at all but just moving to the side. Now I may not need the achievements for the sprockets but it is just annoying to nearly always run into achievements like this every single living story patch.

Oh.. and to those saying they got it easy without issues. Just because you got it easy does not mean the bug is myth. Loads of people didn’t get things like the red ring of death from the 360 but the bug still existed. Using that as evidence that a bug doesn’t exist is just foolish.

And that is why they should come back. There was a great many users who spent more then that trying to complete the set just to make the whole bloody set under the old garbage black lion chest rules and failed to get them all due to RNG. They should be bringing them back in good faith under a new system for all those people and then taking them out of the game after this year. Not leaving a bitter opening in a mini-pet collectors tab encouraging them to never collect again because it can never be filled.

I don’t think this specific Miniature is one to get too worked up about, it can be obtained within the game for Gold. Mini Mr. Sparkles however, that was something different. Expecting players to go to PAX and Gamescom in order to not have their collection broken.. yeah, how about.. no. ArenaNet made me sell my entire collection of minis because of that one blunder. I am no longer a collector, and I am no longer spending real money (nor Gold for that matter) on their added minis to the Gem Store. (I did buy the recent one to get the Puppy, which I actually use all the time, but that’s probably the last that I’ll ever buy.)

Sure, they are now giving Mr. Sparkles to those that purchase at least 4000 Gems within the duration of December, but it’s a little bit too late when I have already skipped on other packs is it not (Edit: Urgh.. the censorship of the combination of isn’t and it is getting really annoying..)? Now I have a even larger hole in my collection should I start collecting again.

Poor business sense on that one, ArenaNet. Oh well, less money I spend on the game, their loss, not mine. Only thing that annoys me is that I had a long-term goal of collecting them all, but I’ll live without one goal in the game.

I hear ya. Limiting it to December purchases only was really annoying. I mean some of us support during the whole year and can’t drop like 50 bucks just for a mini. =/

I wish they’d have brought them back under a fair system this year like they did with the Halloween weapons. You know since the RNG black lion system was such a massive middle finger to those who wanted the mini’s.

Annoys me they made it a meta only this year. I looked forward to finishing my pet collection since I only lacked two and I already have all the endless tonics. Really not a big fan of the stinking 1 pet a year thing. I did that crock of bull in quite a few other games like WoW and nothing is more annoying then waiting 3 years just for a mini-set. I’m sorry but the MMORPG has grown up and taking years to get a single item doesn’t cut it anymore.

Had you said this like 5 months ago I’d have called you crazy then linked the awesome video on the subject. Now though… this seems 100% like something that could actually happen.

Nearly all of what has been done made no sense for it to be Scarlet but it was shoehorned or forced into it anyways. So once again label it as Scarlet and save yourself some time.

Several threads about these things. Just write it off as another Scarlet alliance or just Scarlet in general and ignore it.

Sad when you can get more excited about small side things patched in over what is supposed to be the bread and better called the living story.

I really do not see her as a professional writer with good objectivity but instead more of someone just starting out online writing about something they liked. They will just do whatever they want to get what they want everything else be kitten ed.

Darksun it doesn’t matter even if the writing team can see it. If you go read the interview section with the head writer and see the kinda powers she was given over GW2’s story. Combined with her intense love of the Sylvari it doesn’t matter how bad it gets or what a majority of the fanbase thinks or even what it does the long standing lore of so many other writers involved with this series.

She will just do whatever she wants and at risk of just getting this post deleted. I’d compare that mentality more to that of a fanfiction writer then a professional of their craft.

Except with the current head story writer and history of the game. We all know this theory is false and Scarlet caused the reset as part of keeping you from figuring out her grand ol boring plan.

I want to care what is next so so much but I already know who is behind it, what they think they want, know what it will likely contain, etc. So I am just going to flat out ignore it because there is nothing of interest in the living story anymore. Their head story writer at this time is just bad.

I already turn off npc comments, turn off my sound, and even go as far as to just tab out due to some of the story right now while I rack up my achievement points for each meta. As that is the only good part of living story right now. Free achievement points.

Daily wasn’t bad at all if you did the shoots, events, and if a seed germinates it leaves spores nearby so the low level maps have like 5 random spores to farm up that net you often just one pristine but get the daily done quick.

I mean it really wasn’t that bad at all.

If the feedback was that her story is developing too slow I’d fully agree, but you guys are criticizing a content in development as if it was the finished product.

A good story writer, a good book, a good movie all keep you interested from the get go. You are involved and want to see more even before you are deep into it. The story should engage you from the get go. It shouldn’t need a whole years worth of segments to make you care about it all.

The Scarlet storyline doesn’t need to be done to see it is bad.

Guys get to be the main hero in a majority of MMORPG’s or just games in general. It is refreshing to have female lead hero’s for once in a major title that are more then just barbie doll types or motherly dragon of life maternal garbage. There is more to a woman then the womb bloody writers.

I love that Anet is doing more for female hero’s and I applaud them.

Why wouldn’t she be able to make the krait & nightmare court work together? This is her M.O. to a tee. She is above all. Better than the best Norn blacksmith, smarter than all the asura, the best char legionaire since sliced internet bread.

Make no mistake about it. Whether they fight against her or for her, the krait are now allied with the nightmare court and it is because of Scarlet Briar.

The question is are you more impressed / afraid / respecful of her threat or just even more annoyed by Scarlet’s superiority?

That means diddly though when it comes across as a Mary Sue or makes no sense. If a writer has to rewrite all of what they’ve done or requires you to suspend all belief so something works. Well then something is wrong.

The way she has done it requires you to forget what these factions are, were, or that the world would hear of how she screwed over or failed her previous allies. It also requires you believe she knows where everything such as the shards are magically. That just isn’t good story telling.

A good example of a cunning insane villain is the Joker and a calm one is Lex Luthor. I use those because not only are they good but well known and for Guild Wars it would be Abbadon in how well he controlled things behind the scenes or Palawa Joko. You believe not only that they can do it but is within these villains realm of power. They keep your interest in the story and engage the reader keeping you reading because you need to know how it ends. You must have the next expansion/graphic novel, etc.

Scarlet just does not do this. I may sound mean sometimes to Anet but I just come off rough it is my nature. Scarlet just isn’t written or implemented well enough to make anyone wanting more then a saturday morning cartoon villain engaged but then even that is unfair because you know what? You did want to know how Starscream was going to betray Megatron next. I have no interest in what Scarlest is doing at all.

They posted it is bugged and they are looking into it. If you did it on a character last year try one this year you did not do it on last year.

It is because of the new way they manage the living story content. I think they should make an exception though on the major holidays of Halloween and Christmas. I’d take a month of amazing crazy Halloween and Christmas stuff any day over anything else and even more so Scarlet (gag).

Holidays are supposed to be special. I don’t care if China doesn’t celebrate diddly. There are more nations that DO and it should be bigger.

Same here. I was there for both times so far and no mask. Not in the spirit of the end of a holiday or last year at all. Keep that RNG garbage in the black lion chests where it belongs.

Second time around.. I got gold and cheated again with 25 bags. This is really annoying and not fun. This is not in the spirit of last year or GW1.

The problem Whitey is that due to the higher prices to get the items and the fact all the ways to get candy corn this year pretty much blow. There is almost nobody doing the Halloween events on any server. So there is very little new candy corn entering the market and thus the price stays unfairly high.

It sucks because there is so much stuff like the children running around that now goes unused because you are hoarding your candy corn away. Last years Halloween was just better then this years as it had what a holiday should be. Clean easy fun and it was easy to farm as a holiday should be because it is there for fun and fun alone.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha. The only reason I made a female human heavy was for the t3 armor. I’ve seen plenty of ladies in it, even just within my own guild.

Same. People just overlook those in ACTUAL armor because it’s easier to do so. They want to just see the bikini stuff because it is what they like or what they are used to seeing.

Either way once again this is why I roll races like the Charr to avoid this kinda stuff. Course in WoW they did the skimpy stuff even on female Tauren… what a surprise that was for me years ago.

If they do it will be way to late to matter. Remember the Aetherblade dungeon bugs? Yep… the event came and went with only a couple being fixed while others stayed on the final boss. Those that got cheated out of the achievement will just never have it.

I’m only halfway there because of stupid the price is for it because the event seen kitten bad to many that nobody farms candy corn this year. So the price on corn is horrible.
