Feedback: Guild Wars 2 Mac 64-Bit Client

My MacBook is to be honest, quite old. I got it when OS X Tiger came out. It is currently running Snow Leopard. I believe I could put Lion on it if I wanted to.

I realize that I shouldn’t expect to run GW2 with great performance. In my prior post, I stated that I found an above post enlightening, which isn’t there now. Mainly what I found enlightening was that the 32-bit client is, in essence, a wine wrapper and a couple of other details regarding that. With my old hardware, a wrapped client is definitely something that shouldn’t be treated the same as native… Which a lot of the statements regarding both versions imply they are the same – the only difference being 32-bit or 64-bit.

I looked into Cider, which seems to be the group that wrapped the Mac Client & noted that it seems to have been bought out. What will happen to the 32-bit client? And shouldn’t the 32-bit client be flagged as legacy or limited support as it’s nowhere near the same as a native client? Also, noting the old hardware that the 32-bit macs are running, where the performance hit of a wrapper is even more significant of an issue, should there not be a warning that on 32-bit machines that the game will run as is on their machine with bug fixing unlikely in the future & that the game simply may break some day & may not be able to be recovered?

I have used Wine on Linux… Have had games work awhile, then break, then the wine group may at some point in the future (or not) fix that issue. I can imagine a nightmare situation where people get the new expansion for their 32-bit Mac, then the client breaks because of changes that came with the expansion, and then people get frustrated and wonder why they can’t play the game & get more frustrated because the issue isn’t corrected quickly due to it being wrapped (but most people will not know that it is wrapped & will expect support & performance like a native client). Then you have negativity for something you can’t control.

I think a warning on the 32-bit client would prevent that, or simply dropping it altogether. Especially considering that Mac users tend to update at a more rapid rate, I think it would be perfectly valid to simply not support 32-bit Macs and simply state that now that there is a native 64-bit client efforts need to be focused there and that if someone wants to try to run GW2 on a 32-bit Mac, they should try Wine, with no guarantees or technical support.

I personally have a 32-bit Macbook, and at a glance, without looking into it, and finding information such as the above regarding the 32-bit version being a Cider wrapper, I would have assumed the 32-bit version was also native. It would be beneficial to have more of a statement that the 32-bit version is more of a “legacy” client with limited support. There is no real indication that the 32-bit client is not a port, which will lead to frustration among people when finding weird bugs that will never be fixed as a result.

While it is great that there is a native 64-bit Mac version, the page you go to download the new Mac client has no indication that it is in any way different than the 32-bit client. Even while reading the FAQs it is not clear that any support questions asked about the 32-bit client may not be able to be helped at all due to the different technologies used and the fact that the 32-bit client was wrapped, not ported. The FAQ indicates that the 64-bit version is easier to fix issues for than the 32-bit version, which implies that the 32-bit version will just take longer to solve issues for.

Most 32-bit vs 64-bit differences on the same product are nowhere near as extreme as the differences between these two Mac Clients. Please consider indicating in the download section that the 32-bit client is not native – at least indicate with “legacy” or something that indicates limited technical support.

And thanks for being honest about not supporting Linux. Disappointing, but thanks for the response.

Let me reiterate the poster above me: I am the only level 400 scribe for my guild. It is not large, but it is growing. And I keep getting donations of non-depositable scribing stuff that I can’t use for a bit because of the zillion dependencies that scribing recipes have, particularly the higher level recipes.

I’m sure everything I’ve said and more has been said before, but I want to give types of stuff and I want to make cases for certain types of stuff to be depositable.

My Scribe’s wishlist:
Anything you get from the master scribe or the guild trader (that isn’t a decoration or already depositable) that is used in scribing. If you get something from other crafting vendors that is used in crafting… it is commonly depositable (the bulk stuff just has to be clicked on to become depositable).
Examples: Bolts of Embroidered Silk, Tubs of Wood Glue, Milling Basins, Crystalline Bottles, Essence of Elegance.

Things you gather:
Examples: Blade Shards, Tenebrous/Shimmering Crystals, Jungle Grass Seed, etc (why are flax fibers depositable and these not?)

Lootable Trophies: These are an absolute plague on inventory space. I cannot use them immediately when I pick them up (considering the nature of scribe) and people send me these things to use for scribe. To me, it’s like looting Powerful Blood (or other T6’s). Rare enough, but Powerful Blood (and other T6’s) is still depositable because it’s used in crafting as-is. These are used as-is.
Examples: Feldspar Cores, Arid Lumber Cores, Alpine Lumber Cores, Ascalonian Blueprints, Pristine Feathers, Strategic Defense Maps of The Mist, etc.

Any refinement that isn’t depositable (all other refinements for scribe are):
Pulps!
I would like to consider paper (along with the sandpapers) a refinement, also. My case is this: It is a bit like the ascended cloth/leather/wood (which are depositable) in that it is made from say logs to planks of one material plus refined versions of a different material which is also refined. it’s also like gossamer patches… both of these things both are depositable and are, if you will, crafting components. They are used to craft items.
Hmm… maybe dowels should also be included! Just have ALL refinements be depositable.

I’d also like book covers to not be account bound. I know they’re a crafting component but often you have either the leather, or the paper. The paper is sellable, the cover is not.

Universal wishlist:
In a similar vein to the lootable trophies:
WvW blueprints!

Map trophies that are commonly used as currencies (either wallet or storage would be fine):
Examples: Chak Eggs, Blood Rubies, Petrified Wood….

Doubloons, Agony infusions (sort of like a refinement – they both can either be looted or refined)

How about making use of Torment, also? It would seem fitting for your Siren. You also need a skill called Phantasm of the Opera.

I’m thinking about The Illusionist. I don’t know how to flesh this out. But this is my base idea. Please feel free to fill it in.

Where the Chronomancer effectively brought fast casting back from GW1, The Illusionist will bring back Illusionary Weaponry.

Illusionary Weaponry’s mechanic will affect the weapon skills – a bit like shroud/reaper/druid. A bit like the enchanted weapon foes from GW1, but more purpley and phantasmy, you will turn into an illusionary greatsword.
….But this greatsword will be melee! Your weapon skills will turn into melee greatsword skills! (still need to think on these)

The new utilities are…. illusionary weapons (essentially spirit weapons)!

Going with the idea that mesmers use physical weapons in magical ways and Illusionary Weaponry’s neccessity for a melee weapon in gw1, why not give them a mace?

Confusion, misdirection, some interrupts, and some serious damage will come out of this Illusionist. Misdirection will be enabled by taunt and fear!

(what would also be cool would be an illusionary menagerie and we get to summon the illusion of an elder dragon as the elite skill or some such like revenants do Glint)

Thoughts on how this should go?

One of the hero points in VB bugged out and says I don’t have it on the map but when I try to commune again it says I do have it. Unable to get map completion cause of it.

Edit: Pact Airship Wreckage [Hero Challenge] – East of Faren’s Flyer Waypoint.

Update: Today the hero point I was originally talking about was suddenly completed but the hero point at the bottom left of the map then became uncompleted (after now doing it I don’t ever remember having done this one). Now the map and everything says I have everything completed but I also didn’t get map completion reward.

I had that bug at that hero point the other day. Except now I have no map due to PvP bug (on that character that that happened to).

HUGE GAMEBREAKING BUG:

Please look at this thread, it’s important!
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/HoT-maps-reset-on-me

It seems like some people lose all of their HoT progress by entering buggy maps!

edit: another thread about the same issue:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Teq-Map-is-treated-as-pre-HoT

Me and two other guildies lost all our progress on Maguuma maps. It still recognizes we have Hero Points, but we lost POI, waypoints, and vistas. We only lost all our map on characters that were in Fractals or a PvP match at the time. Of course, it did happen to be my main with the most map that lost ALL her maguuma map. Help? We also couldn’t use our elite specs in Fractals and PvP when it happened. In PvP it said that I had to wait for HoT to come out. Although we can now use our elite specs, again, no map.

Thing is no PvE player will have the elite specs unlocked. If it is retroactive, then WvW players are ahead. If it isn’t, then people are in the same boat. PvErs still have to complete 40 Maguuma hearts which won’t be a piece of cake.

Re: 200 WvW ranks?
Yep.
Note that a lot of people who seriously WvW probably have that many WvW ranks (and much much higher). I haven’t really done it to a large extent and I’m rank 60 or so?
That right there is 120 points.
For the other 280, it can simply be 28 Maguuma hero challenges. Which doesn’t sound too bad to me. And of course, it could be 140 more WvW ranks.
But the fact of the matter is, is that it can be done 100% in WvW. So you can play as you wish.

1 WvW rank, 1 Hero Point with central Tyrian Scrolls

And note:
a)10 points per challenge in Maguuma.
b)There are enough challenges in Maguuma alone to get all Hero Points required.

We would like people for
a) PvP Guild Teams
b) Groups to wreak havok in WvW
c) PvE stuff (dungeons, fractals, now raids :o, and other)

We have a TeamSpeak through the lovely GoM server.

The only requirement is that you’re friendly (which seems to be no problem for the GW2 community)

We chose GoM for a reason… we love to have/create fun We’ve been having fun since GW1.

Kind of like in GW1? I think that would be great. To me, the only limitation I see to that is, isn’t there a limitation to how long a chat message can be and not on guild messages? I wouldn’t mind having the maximum lengths match, though, so that this could be implemented, if that’s what’s necessary. In GW1 I enjoyed seeing my Guild Message of “:)” come up every time I logged in and I think my guildies liked it too

I’m concerned that I will have to repeat about 60 skill challenges (which will become hero challenges) for 7/8 of my level 80s (I have map completion on one char) in order to get all hero points necessary for leveling and specializations… Any word on what will happen to skill point scrolls? Should I use them now? or will any additional skill points beyond 80 just disappear and turn into crafting material rather than character progression usefulness with hero points? Or will they leave the amount useful to hero points and convert the rest post-80 so I should spend my skill point scrolls now?

Traits Part 2

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Lorelei.7809

Lorelei.7809

Why not, once you unlock them with one character, you unlock them account wide?
a) This introduces the new player to shiny content types and gets them to try things they wouldn’t otherwise. (flipside: they can’t play “they way they want to”)
b) After they’ve done this content, they don’t have to do it again. No one likes re-doing content 4+ times. And at this point, they know if they don’t like JPs, and really don’t want to do them again. And oh, map completion. Doing that multiple times = AWFUL.
c) It wouldn’t be cost-prohibitive if you don’t want to re-do content.
d) If they wanted to, they could still pay for traits they don’t want to bother getting (and now they can “play the way they want to”) if the buying was still in place. Also, if you only unlocked them once, you certainly wouldn’t be buying them all. So the cost would be low.

Lorelei.7809

I’m glad to see this as an outfit – hope we get them for all gods. I’m personally waiting for some of those Mesmer sets to come as either outfits or armors (and I’m thinking there’s probably good reason they aren’t armor sets in the game already).

I have a feeling we’re getting this as an outfit for a very good reason. It may simply be impractical with the way their armor sets work to make it an armor set. Since it’s one piece and doesn’t go by armor rules, it’s a lot more flexible making outfits from what I can tell.

Yes, maybe we can’t mix & match, but we may be getting options that we never could have had by only getting armors.

Stop making outfits!!!

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Lorelei.7809

Lorelei.7809

Pros of Outfits:
1Any weight class can wear it.
1a Greater value because all your characters can wear it
2 No need for transmutation stones
2a Greater value because you don’t need to possibly spend gems or the equivalent on transmutation er charges.
3. You can’t mix & match them in an obnoxious/ugly/whatev way (i’m looking at you GW1 underwear mesmers – Pants top + leggings that went with a dress). This is probably what would happen if you made some of these outfits into armor sets along with some major clipping, etc.

Cons:
No Mix & Match
Less dye variety

Pros of Armor sets:
1. Mix & Match
2. More dye variety

Cons of Armor sets:
lesser value,
If some outfits were made into armor sets either ugly mix and match options or major clipping,
lots of transmutation stones necessary
only work on some of your characters
more expensive if you only like one piece of the set

So please, keep outfits

[Suggestion] Alliances & Boat Masts

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Lorelei.7809

Lorelei.7809

You know the Sharn’s Free Camp shipwreck? Well, there’s a boat mast that nearly goes up to the top of the boat, but not quite…. Why not have it go all the way to the top? Just cause… :P

But on a more serious note…
Please, let’s have alliances. Lots of benefits. I’m including sharing guild halls and alliance chat in this discussion as that’s what alliances meant in gw1. Oh, and also the possibility of an alliance currency.
1. More sizes of guilds can get more representation, which means they can get more influence.
2. Small guilds could then more easily participate in Guild Missions by being aligned with large guilds that have them.
3. Coordination is much easier with multiple guilds, particularly ones that you’re close with, with alliance chat. Example: Some people just PvP with us. Instead of having to rep our guild to ask us, they could simply go into alliance chat. Another example: Us small guilds don’t have five people and we really want to keep influence going as much as possible, right? So we just go into alliance chat and see if a total of five people between the two guilds are up for a dungeon. Much easier.
4. Building guilds can benefit from the Guild Halls and/or upgrades of larger guilds they’re aligned with (maybe not the upgrades, but it’s always cool to visit other guilds’ guild halls).

Possibilities:
1. This could make guild missions feasible for small guilds if there were an alliance currency that could be used to make them, also. And everyone in the alliance could do them, etc, etc.
2. Better recruitment for small guilds because they won’t feel so empty with alliance chat. More people will be on more often, no matter the smallness of the guilds in the alliance, which means more fun.
3. More guild loyalty. When you have to rep another guild to do x and a different guild to do y, you don’t feel so loyal. You can now primarily represent x, and represent x while talking in alliance chat, then if guild y is up for something, you can rep them if you like for their activity. But you can feel less disloyal when doing that as you’re in an alliance with that guild. And they also will have less issue with you if you still decide to rep guild x as communication would still be possible through alliance chat.

Pushy Guild Representation - Right or Wrong?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Lorelei.7809

Lorelei.7809

Being pushy about anything including rep requirements will get you nowhere.

I think pushing it hurts, rather than helps. However, I do think a requirement for say, while you’re doing activities with us, represent us is completely valid. You’re doing activities with the guild, you may as well represent.

I’m against 100% rep requirements. As a small guild leader, they really hurt recruitment and it’s particularly annoying if the person is in the 100% rep guild for a specific mode, say WvW, and they want to PvP with you. It shouldn’t be that bad to represent the group you PvP with while you’re playing matches with them and represent your WvW guild while you’re playing WvW with them.

Also, requiring 100% representation hurts growth since many people won’t join a 100% rep guild.

But what would help more than anything is alliances….. so small guilds can keep their people representing them while their members can have the advantages of a large guild.

Well if you like the idea of a Chronomancer, that appears to be the Mesmer specialization when HoT comes out.

TBH though, the most important thing is that you enjoy the character.

I, myself, prefer mesmer. Also, if you like jumping puzzles, portals are very useful for them, which are on mesmer. Though, they don’t have a constant speed boost like eles for exploration (and some help with jumping puzzles). portals are also very handy in PvP when used correctly. I find mesmer have a lot of flexibility and a lot of utility (group stealth, group quickness, even moa is utility).

Pleeeeeease add a build saver. I have enough trouble with deathmatch and conquest. Let alone a mode that would require people to be playing different roles. I’ve been staying with the exact same build because I know I won’t remember how to change it if I switch out of it fast enough in matches and/or remember to switch it.

I’m too afraid to experiment with the lovely traits that are now not permanent because I know if I change it I won’t remember what I have, even in PvE. So if the new build doesn’t work, then I won’t be able to go back to what I was using :/

Traits Part 2

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Lorelei.7809

Lorelei.7809

From what I gather with Masteries, they are going to use activities similar to what are currently the activities to get traits – and they can be done once, and count account wide. If they do indeed use the current trait activities for masteries, so long as they’re account-wide I would be happy. Also, it makes more sense for, say, map completion to go toward a mastery, rather than a singular trait for only one character – that’s a lot of redundancy.

I’m really glad to hear about a new system: I have 8 characters developed before the update and I can barely motivate myself to get all of the thirteenth traits for each character (I only have all five on one character – just imagine if I made my alts after the update :/). The timed event one (Karka Queen) is particularly annoying to me. I really feel the system hurt altaholics like me :P I am so thankful I made & developed chars before the update…

I will say, though, that I’d be OK if we only had to do everything once per account, which sounds like it’s the case with Masteries.

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Lorelei.7809

Caveat: I do not know the new trait system as my 8 chars were created before the update. To me, it sounds potentially fun, but that’s just me (but then I don’t mind hearts and story and events). Edit: After looking at the trait system, it looks like a pain. But you do get a lot of skill points and gold in PvP (and WvW).
On leveling:
1. I know someone who levels up nearly purely by WvW. Since you’re leveled to 80 in there, and there are a zillion events going on, you’ll get a LOT of XP and not feel too incapable (particularly after level 13-19 when you have unlocked at least a utility to all utilities and profession skills, and definitively so after 31, where you get your elite).
2. PvP: You get 8 levels every track (one tome every tier in each track). This is my method: I don’t get bored with it. And with the new PvP system: it goes quickly!
3. Exploration (not meaning follow the arrow): Just run around the map. Don’t even do hearts. Just grab new areas, waypoints, points of interest, etc (easy stuff to get). It gets a lot of experience…. and quickly. Plus, you get a lot of map which is advantageous.
4. Early stories give a fair amount of experience and are fun (until maybe section 5 of the story?)
5. Crafting. You can get easy levels from crafting. Particularly Jeweler and Chef (a little expensive karma-wise, but not that bad in the end). Artificer after that for ease.

After 80? Do whatever you want TBH, I’d try all those and then see what you like doing. Then look for a guild focused in what you like.

Update Bump: Team has 5th, but the guild is still looking for members.

We are at the point where more than 5 people are interested in PvP at once. We aren’t at the point where we can form two teams at once (10 people interested in PvP online at the same time). So we’re definitely still open for PvP-focused people. After we get to that point in terms of members? We’ll see. I don’t want to get too big, but at that point I’ll start asking people if we need more members or not – or if we don’t, should we just be selective instead of turning people away? Though at that point we’ll consider a custom arena for sure.

Oh and now we have some dragons

We are not at that point with dungeons and WvW. I’m content to be PvP centric, but it would be nice to have enough people to party with for WvW and dungeons at least on the weekends. No one likes pugging. It would be nice not to have to do that. Perhaps if we get enough for a party on the weekends, we’ll gain some momentum.

As a note: Most of us are either US Central or US EST. This isn’t to say you can’t join if you’re not either of those two, but to be aware of our current “prime time” since we are small.

With GoM, in spite of being small, you can use the teamspeak to group up with other GoMmies in WvW, not just use our guild chat on the server.

We also currently have a PvP team of 4 that would really like a 5th…. (dungeons are similar).

Once we get a fifth, we may get a custom arena for practice. I’d really like to have 10 interested in PvP.

If you’re talking about this one: https://d3b4yo2b5lbfy.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Mesmer_011.jpg

It’s the set that Norn Raven Acolytes wear. You can see it in Wayfarer foothills.

Countess Anise has the top half of the Chaos Storm set.

Otherwise I don’t think any of them are implemented in any form or fashion.

We’re (MaSF) on Gate of Madness, but we are PvX (into WvW, PvP, PvE, living story).

If you’re willing to help us grow, we’ll be happy to have you. We’re fairly active, but not that large, so it is uncertain if people will be online all the time you want to play at this point. But my goal is for that to not be the case (but not to have a huge guild, basically a 10-30 member guild).

PM me here or in-game if interested.

We’re not 100% rep, but representing in dungeons and PvP would be appreciated.

This being the classic Mesmer image in GW1:
http://wiki.guildwars.com/images/f/f8/Mesmer_render.jpg
Note the Rapier: We didn’t have those in GW1.

This is the Mesmer from the profession page in GW2:
http://guides.gamepressure.com/guildwars2/gfx/word/978410093.jpg
And the wallpaper on the profession page:
https://d3b4yo2b5lbfy.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/wallpapers/Mesmer-Final-1440x900.jpg
1. No fan focus like in GW1 (WHY do we get rapiers in GW2 and fans in GW1, when the art looks like it should be the other way around? – but please, don’t take away the rapier if you give us a fan ;P)
2. Neither outfit.
Other Mesmers from the profession page:
https://d3b4yo2b5lbfy.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Mesmer_011.jpg
3. No Raven set.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKyl8o4uF2U (Chaos storm video from the page)
4. No armor set from there either.

If the fan eventually becomes a weapon, I’ll forgive. Currently, though, a fan focus skin would be great.

As for these armor sets, why don’t we get them as armor or town clothes?

Will we have to wait for GW3 to get all these things (since we had to wait for the rapier from GW1)?

Can we pleeeease be able to look like the characters in the profession page?

Ironically, we can now look like the Mesmer in the GW1 profession art so long as we have the set from the Hall of Monuments and the rapier, but not the GW2 art.

3 things we’re looking for:
1. PvP team 5th
2. Others interested in PvP (ideally I think we’d like to have about 10 people)
3. People interested in a PvX guild that does WvW, PvP, and PvE on Gate of Madness.
PM me in game or on here if interested PvP or the guild

1. We have a PvP group looking for a 5th:
We play relatively consistently in the evenings and on the weekends.
We range from tiger to shark in rank.
We have a teamspeak through Gate of Madness and our guild MaSF (no need to represent our guild to get into the teamspeak).
We’re primarily in the US EST time zone.

Our current composition is
Mesmer
Ranger/Guardian
Warrior/Ele
Ranger/Necro/Engineer.

We’re willing to experiment and work to improve. But as always: we want to have fun

2. Ideally I think it would be nice to have 10 people interested in PvP so that it’s more likely that people will have others to play with when they want to PvP. 10 is a nice, small number where we can get to know each other, but large enough so that people can play with someone (likely) when they’re online.

3. We don’t have representation requirements, but we’d like new members who would be willing to do WvW, dungeons, or PvP with us (or all three!). We’re small… and we like it that way – We want to get to know you and become friends. But we’d like to be able to group up for whatever you’d like to do. Since we’re PvX…. it’s probably best we have 10-20 members so that people can group up and do what they like (maybe 30 considering now we have Living Story, Dungeons, WvW and PvP depending on interests of the group – I personally do all 4 to a certain extent). We’re for new and veteran players alike; we enjoy helping out new people. We’re a close-knit group that likes to help each other out and I’d like to keep it that way. We don’t have the numbers to do Guild Missions yet, but we have accessed the lower tier guild bounties (along with maxed out guild vault). We’ve been around since GW1, but it’s time for us to grow and get to know more people PM me in game or here if you’re interested.

I want curls. The closest hairstyle to it is a short wavy bob, but it’s not what I’m looking for. I want wild wolf-woman curls.

And you don’t consider the head scarf + long curly hair or the curly ponytail to fit?

I went for curls intentionally because my ranger in GW1 had them… I ended up switching to the ponytail over the head scarf because it’s too hard to match the head scarf for me (I didn’t pick a neutral).

@SnowHawk: Those look awesome!

Mine is interested in alchemy. I have her only use the alchemy gun and alchemy/environmentally-friendly utilities and the pistol/shield. She’s environmentally friendly. And she uses the plant turrets of her race (healing seed, the offensive one, and the elite). I don’t have her use the machine skills/mines. I know it’s extremely limiting, but it works for me

@Anyandrell: Love your looks. Your necro and ele are very fitting of profession. Your mesmer’s color scheme reminds me more of a guardian, but still beautiful!

I wasn’t thinking of a coleus plant, but you’re right! I might start going with that theme more when I make color schemes for her (I think I’ll end up going for dryad…. I wish there were more planty gear…). I’m glad you call my engie a tropical (carnivorous, even!) plant…. I was going for exotic, so it sounds like I succeeded!

@Numbers, great look! You really did yellow skin tone well

Much better matchmaking. I had two of the closest matches I’d ever had last night! 490(+/- 1):500 and 500:475! Those were so much fun!

I was negative to it, but last night I actually enjoyed it: we won 500:475! It was close the whole way. The closest matches I had by far were last night in general, though (well, maybe excepting that one match I lost only by 8 points…).

My husband and I PvP’d in a party together last night and tonight.

Last night: it was either we were wiped or we wiped them. We tried both ranked and unranked: oddly, we had better luck with ranked. Skill level was horrifyingly varying with teams. A couple of matches I got 0 points personally because we were so outclassed – and that hasn’t happened to me in…. a loooong time. We teamed up with one other person for a couple of matches last night that were fair.

Tonight: No wipes. Matches were much better. We only did ranked, but felt much more even and I was either in the middle to upper part of my team in terms of score, win or lose. Though there was a 5v4. People felt much closer in skill level.

Thanks for the adjustments!

Queue dosnt work

For a temporary solution: join a group with someone who doesn’t have the issue. Thankfully I don’t think the majority of people have it.

I know that is a temporary solution, but i just recently got back to the game. still playing at a medium high level.

Im missing 1400 ranked arena games. and i dont know anybody atm since most of the people i played with 14 months ago stopped playing gw2.

and i dont want to pug and bring my score even lower…

i want to be able to queue solo, and work for my own personaly score, rather than hope some random guy is decent enough to not bring me down. wich is even harder now that im missing all my ranked games, since its putting me at the loewst kitten possible bracket all the time…… its not a viable solution. this problem needs to be fixed as does the missing stats, and yesterday was too late! they need to communicate whats going on, what they’re doing to fix it. how far they are, and when i can expect to play with my stats again. not blow me and everyone else with this issue off.

You do realize they’re testing the leaderboards now and probably going to reset them again come January, right?
