Thank you stjf for working on this!
I think eyelashes should definitely stay black (no woman that I know of makes their eyelashes bright red or blue with mascara and if they do it is only for kicks every once in awhile)… as for eyebrow color? Some people do have different colored eyebrows in comparison to their hair.
If we had a skin locker, buying the whole set would be more justifiable as you could use part of it on one character, part of it on another, and so forth. Or you could even just mix it up on one character as time went on.
I would say Guild Halls if I had to choose with everything as a possibility. For example, crafting stations of all types, merchants, both personal and guild vault boxes, trading post, laurel vendor, etc. I think GvG is out of the question currently as they seem to want to group the playerbase together rather than pit them against each other for the most part. I do miss GvG and other modes of PvP, though. I’d like an HA, for example. Alliances would be wonderful (just please no Faction alliances to prevent alliances with other guilds!). I would also like a “last logged on” just so I can see who is actually somewhat active in my guild to know to promote them or not. I don’t kick people unless they have personality issues with the rest of my guild (we’re small).
Just give shiny options in store and shiny options in-game. Different skins. That way both groups are happy. Easy real-money obtained stuff from gem store or more difficult in-game stuff. I… want… Nightmare! and I want an Oaken helmet for which I have no Sylvari to fit yet. It’ll take me awhile though… I am hoping the new weapon skins are a sign of things to come
Thanks a lot. I am still not sure I will buy them as they are over $10 (I might buy one), but I will definitely consider them now. I have 9 character slots and 8 level 20 characters and over. So making them account bound is fantastic! I do appreciate the weapon skins, also! They look nice ’n shiny!
I miss my Paragon wings! So yeah! I would definitely use them on my human.
I kinda want paragons back
But I know Charr wouldn’t make good paragons. And they would overlap way too much with Warriors and Guardians.
I agree though. I would like some stylish “good guy” looks. I love the flower options… hopefully we get some pretty back pieces. Maybe some intricate ones that don’t stick out like crazy on the back (not wings, maybe vines or something).
Well… ArenaNet only considered “real PvP” as PvP (they didn’t consider Jade Quarry for Fort Aspenwood real PvP either) in GW. They did not consider minigames “real PvP” and did not reward them as such. So this is probably going to be the same way. After all, it is a completely different game play style. You have to master your profession for PvP, not for minigames.
Like buying a pass to the Royal Terrace, maybe we could buy stuff to permanently put in our home instance. I would really like a bank to be put in there, particularly now that we have the mining nodes and the place of power. I don’t know if this feature is meant to be for Guild Halls, but since we don’t have them, couldn’t we at least have an option to have permanent access to the Royal Terrace or the equivalent with buying items for our home instance (I also really don’t like having to go to Divinity’s Reach… it and the Black Citadel are my least favorite capitals to navigate)? Maybe the individual items can be the cost of the Royal Terrace ticket as they are not temporary. I would probably buy a bank and permanent trading post. I am doubting permanent crafting station as there are 8 different crafting professions. The current mobile crafting stations would work sufficiently. I tend to also like the crafting areas. But I like the idea of a “home base” with a merchant (not as necessary as an option for me but maybe for others), a bank, armor repair (already there), and the nodes and place of power that are already there.
I am doubting we would get “facial hair” type features, but I am positive we will get something unique
So I, too, am very curious about the female version.
I really like that one. I like his earthen brown, tree-type feel
I would say you got close to the black/red look with the brown/orange look, but it isn’t too obnoxious to go with different armor styles and colorings. The blue pattern works really well. Also, he is warmly glowing
I like softer glows and I think this one fits that.. it isn’t a bright red. It’s striking but not crazy, if you will xD
I suppose you could always make a thief with that black/red pattern ;P But I think this one looks great for an ele.
Here’s another combination I tried with the autumn theme, really like the glow on this one:
I personally like this one… I really like the blue glow and he doesn’t look as fiery as with the red glow… The autumn hair isn’t that bright red, which is nice
I love the eyes with it, also. As far as air goes… I know you didn’t like the autumn pattern, but maybe you’d like a more.. whitish pattern? To represent air? Since that is the one you are kinda missing. I like him how he is though if you aren’t going for representing all elements.
Hmmm…. I went with a rather natural look on my Sylvari Mesmer (you can find her in the Show your Sylvari thread – I may repost her if you want me to).
I really like your idea. I went with blue eyes for my Mesmer to represent the water that would run through them. Green is her skin tone. I chose a green glow also.
But perhaps, what you could do is have the pattern and hair be red (think autumn leaves) and the glow be whitish for air (after all, plants do breathe out oxygen) with blue eyes (think a bright blue) and keep the skin tone.
Edit: When I think of elementalists, I think of them as a) flashy due to multiple elements, b) showing a distinct preference for one element (I themed my Asura Ele to water/air), or possibly (though rare) c) a more natural look
(edited by Lorelei.7809)
Indeed. That is why the Pale Tree is so important. However, it is unknown if another Tree could produce Sylvari as with plants, there is not normally just one seed.
Edit: Even if there were another Tree, there is not another Ventari’s Tablet, which is what the Nightmare Court so desire to destroy. And, certainly the Tablet is important to Sylvari culture.
I, personally, don’t like any of the armor sets enough to buy :/ Viper is closest though to what I would buy. Trickster is good, but I am not sold on it. And thematically it isn’t “Norny” enough for my Norn. It is too human for me.
On the Phalanx armor in particular – it is in, actually, a nice middle to me of “skimpy” and covering – leaning towards covering (only a little legs and chest). I would like to show my Norn Warrior’s tattoos. I don’t want a “metallic bikini” with boots, if you will, but I would like to show arms, for example, and a bit of leg. Not many armor sets actually show arms. Showing back or side (my tattoos go down the side – the tribal set on my warrior and Eir’s on my ranger) would be good, too.
The best ones are the ones from GW. And the NPC sets that we don’t get. I would seriously consider buying many of the Sylvari NPC sets, any of the Norn Shaman sets, Countess Anise’s set…. some human noble dresses.. I have also noted that a good amount of people have been requesting shaman and countess anise and general sylvari npc armor sets.
And seriously… can we get more town clothes options? We have that slot, but I am not that interested in the current options. I never show my town clothes as my armor tends to look cooler. Particularly for my Sylvari :/ I don’t like how “town clothes” is practically under garments and boots.
I also don’t like how “techy” and “current” and/or “magitech” most of the gem store armor looks. Only one profession works with that well (in my opinion): Engineer. And they are medium armor.
I’d like Viper armor for my Warrior with showing more arm. I want to show off my muscular Norn’s biceps. And again, with a more “norny” feel.
For any profession: I want my humans 100% covered (or nearly so) and my Norn and Sylvari showing off their tattoos/musculature or skin pattern/glow. I would also like to show off more of my Charrdian lady’s fur pattern.
Edit: Honestly, looking at these sets again… I like them fine. The Trickster is a bit busy for me, I am not terribly fond of the eyepatch for the medium set, and the Phalanx isn’t that bad. I just kinda wish it was a little more like Viper.

Though there are other low-level areas, there are not that many that are level 15-25. It is why that tier of crafting material is annoying to get. Because not many people go into those areas. Plus, keep in mind that new players and characters do not have full maps.
Also… people should want to do other stuff besides living story at the time of it. There is so much content in this game, people can’t just spend all their time in living story. Some people want to complete maps. Some people want to do hearts. They really should consider “old content” when they put new content on top of it. It shouldn’t just be slapped on for two weeks without any care on how other things are affecting it.
And people are forced into the story if they even go into Kessex Hills, which is a problem for characters that barely are over 25.
Why not have us go into Kessex Hills, then go to a particular location, ie Thunderhill Ridge (I think that’s the name)? Or at least someplace nearby. That way we could play as a group…
I personally found it odd and awkward loading into a story instance immediately upon entering Kessex Hills. Because the story is way over to the West. But I entered from the North/East side of it. And my friends got caught off guard when they waypointed there from Lion’s Arch.
The Krait are nowhere near the swampy area that I entered into. So it felt weird for me.
Oh… it also annoyed me when I went into Kessex Hills and got thrown into the story for another reason: I only wanted to play the game long enough to get my character to the area with the new content. I did not want to play it longer than 10 minutes (which that story takes way longer, especially for my level 26 character sans an elite skill).
And if you have a level requirement in the future, can you have it be 30? It is really rough doing a lot of stuff without an elite skill.

Thank you for the update! This should make everyone happy – the people who want more glow and the people who want less glow. I do think everyone loves the textures so getting them back (as best as you can) will be lovely
I can’t wait for these to come into effect. Now I know I need at least 1 heavy armor Sylvari and I should go for more Sylvari cultural armor on my Mesmer
I know you mentioned that you were going to look at T2 Light for a bit of a rework – I would love for the veins of the leaves to glow, if possible. I think that would be a really neat effect. I love how the T2 Light set shows of character pattern and glow, so I will have the challenge of matching character glow to armor glow
Your plan sounds fantastic, Kristen
Sounds like the people who want the “old look” will be able to get it and the people who want more glow will get it. I can’t wait to see what happens
I, personally, think think this was a good first step.
Two things.
1) 45% of people who play video games are women. That’s very nearly half. So this whole “men play ALL the games!” is total junk. Also
2) There was a study done that said if a group of people were 17% of women, men in the group think it’s 50-50. And if there’s 33% women, men think there are more women than men. Which seems fairly relevant since someone above mentioned there were 16 men in the living story to 11 women, yet here we are debating how it’s way more women in the living story.
Also, basing it on the living story and living story alone is stupid. You can’t pick such a small base and make asumtions on it. Even if the living story had more ladies, it doesn’t change the fact that a lot of other prominent NPCs are male.
As a side note, evo psych is just used by jerks to justify their wrong beliefs (like ‘women are just better at house stuff! It’s science!’ or ‘men are just better at everything! It’s science!’).
Unfortunately your second point conflicts with your first point. Based on your second point, in order for men to think more men play video games than women there would have to be fewer than 17% female players. At 45% men should think only women play video games.
But they are not actually seeing the other people behind the computer. This is done on the social reputation of gaming. Which you have to admit, favors men. And it is stigmatized for women to play games – men can talk about gaming, women can’t. So of course they are going to think that very few women play games. They cannot see “behind the avatar.” Plus… there is a large group of males that play as female avatars.
Edit: I would very much like to see a source, also. It does intrigue me.
Here’s mine exotic guardianess
What top and gloves are those?
The Norn in this thread look great
Why don’t we have armor for the one story item that doesn’t get used? Like Cycle for Sylvari and Totem Animal for Norn? When we choose it, like when we choose order, we choose an armor set to get
When I started playing this game I was leveling many different characters and I was always doing all the story quests, from what I saw this game is full of female characters.
Destinys Edge 3/5 females
pact leaders 2/3 females
Living world full of females
Humans have a queen
Silvari have a Mother tree
Human gods half of them are Females
I think 2/3 important characters in this game’s world are Females, the game needs some strong scary kitten dudes because it doesnt feel epic anymore. Everytime I remember what happened with lord farren in that solo instance I want to spit on my combuter screen.
Did you look at mine and Pixelpumpkin’s calculations?
Pixelpumpkin: Male living story characters: 18
Female living story characters: 12
Mine: Even.
You said yourself that the human gods are evenly split.
Do you really think that a Father Tree would work? Seriously?!
Humans have had a Queen for ages.
Pact leaders? That is only one different. Same with Destiny’s Edge.
Edit: Yeah, you’re right, Lilith. But Snaff did die. You aren’t going to be seing him around
(edited by Lorelei.7809)
Thanks Pixelpumpkin! I added Tassi to my list
I find the characters competent in different ways. Braham is certainly competent.
My 2 cents on women, sports, fighting, emotions, yada, yada, yada and science. Unfortunately, you really hit a nerve (I am a female athlete and scientist).
1) human male and female anatomy, though different, and generally advantageous to men in sports, is very similar between genders, scientifically. In some sports, men and women compete equally. And women beat men. Even if men, scientifically, are better at something, it doesn’t make them so dramatically better that any man can beat any woman. Billy Jean King beat Bobby Riggs. I have beaten male opponents myself.
2) The human brain is the same between the two (in terms of research, etc, not talking hormonal)
3) You cannot dispute that women would not be equal to men in terms of magic ability. In fact, you could probably argue that they would be better at magic than men. Honestly, the only profession in the game that has an arguable male advantage (for humans assuming these human women have the same limitations as real-world humans) would be warrior as they do not use much magic nor does it depend on agility or subtlety (you do hear of a lot of women thieves). Men and women are both equally able to do the engineering profession. Note: This is regarding humans. Charr, Norn, Asura, and Sylvari have even less differentiation between the genders than humans do physiologically (Sylvari are the same, the shape is just different, Charr and Asura are the same between genders, Not sure about Norn, but certainly the Norn ladies are tough as nails – the men do not want weaker women so their strength then makes them far more equal, at the very least).
4) In terms of emotions, or whatever, men can also be brash and reckless. When men get brash and reckless, people can die (Snaff, for example – and Kralkatorrik is still around – and no matter what way you shake it, he maybe saved one person (she still may have lived) and he could have saved millions – I think the Queen would have been fine with dying if she knew he could have killed a dragon). When women get emotional, people often do not die.
5) As women are often weaker physically than their opponents they often use their mind to make up for it. How is it that women often become serial killers? They use poison. In other words, they are calculating.
Another note on emotion: Sometimes emotional can make you unpredictable which is an advantage in fighting.
@OP I would say “welcome to our world” if I thought that the problem actually existed. But according to my calculations, it does not.
Honestly, the reverse of what this problem is claimed to be is what has occurred in many videogames past. To me, it is a very welcome change of pace to even out the genders.
However, it honestly is not a problem.
Destiny’s Edge: 3/5 women. It is an odd number. It is as close to even as you can get with the tie breaker being female. Yes, Logan and Rytlock are squabbling idiots, but it doesn’t mean they’re worthless. They are part of that team.
Personal Story:
2/3 of the Orders people you work with: male
Trahearne: Male
Regarding Personal Story and Destiny’s Edge (since they are tied together a bit): exactly even. There is no gender disparity.
Living World:
I am *not going to consider the men of the holidays (which, I could argue are dominated by men, and why isn’t our “Santa” female? Or the Mad King a queen? Or the Bloody Prince, a Bloody Princess? Or Moto, a female?). Or the women of the holidays: Queen Jennah and Countess Anise. Tassi
**I am also not considering villains
Ellen Kiel: F
Levvi: F
Magnus the Bloody Handed: M
Braham and Rox: Even
Lady Kasmeer Meade, Lord Faren: Even
Marjory Delaqua: F
Evon Gnashblade: M
Emissary Vorpp: M
Calculation: exactly even. There is zero problem. I like Braham’s character and Lord Faren’s. And who isn’t cooler than Magnus the Bloody Handed? Maybe the ladies get a little more time in the spotlight, but that is all you can argue (well, Trahearne gets a lot of spotlight in your story and the holiday males get a ton of spotlight). There is the same number of women as there are men. And that is not counting holidays. If you want to count holidays, that tips it in men’s favor. Evon Gnashblade and Vorpp are both cool characters.
So… I could ask you, why aren’t there more women? If you include holidays in there (and count the Bloody Prince), and they are part of the Living World, then we need 1 more woman character to even it out. But that is stretching it, isn’kitten But what is stretching it more is asking for more men.
Hmm… the main bad guys have also been Canach and Scarlet (evenly split gender-wise!) So they even evenly split villains.
Basically, no offense to the OP and anyone else who agrees with him, but if you have a problem with the lady characters, then you have a problem with equality.
Great job, ArenaNet! I am amazed at how even you are with the genders o.O. Totally, completely evenly split between men and women.
Edit: Thanks Pixelpumpkin! Added Tassi to the holidays list. Then that means, not counting the Bloody Prince, we are 100% completely, totally even.

When is it supposed to be running? because I thought it was supposed to be running now and he is not there…
I really like the addition of more glow to the armor. I do hope there is a way to perhaps regain some of the texture that may have been lost (depending on the armor set), which I do think is more of the issue than the glow to people (as people had requested glow and there was a thread about armor covering glow, so obviously people like glow and want to show it). I hope that the Light T2 armor set’s leaves’ veins glow. I would love to see that. I would just have to find the perfect dye that would match my character’s glow.
Honestly, in about half the Light T3 pictures, I love the change. In half, I dislike (from what I have seen on forums). With the Medium T3, it looks blatantly improved. I think my issue with the half that seemed to get “worse” was that the leaves seemed more flat in coloring. I may yet consider getting the set for my Mesmer.

Thank you so much for that in-depth answer Walhalla! But, in essence, it is that their religion is more dominant than their xenophobia.
I hope they do answer that question well, then.
I agree that there are too many kill x of y achievements within the living story. I think that is the biggest problem with it. Why can’t we investigate some benevolent interesting ruins? Why does it always have to be killing something (for the majority of the story)?
One month for events/achievements. If they want to go with 2 weeks, just have some nice patch within two weeks or add a new armor set or something, but not an achievement-based thing.
I thought Krait thought all races were inferior and enslaved any race they came across that they could. Thus, they would not align themselves with any other race or faction of a race.
From the wiki: "These intelligent creatures are vicious and xenophobic, attacking and enslaving all other species on sight. "
“Krait are vicious creatures, completely uninterested in the needs or well-being of others. The krait have never felt threatened by any of the land or other sea-dwelling races. They believe other, lesser races have nothing to offer them, so the krait never bother to communicate with them. Never beaten, they are convinced that they are blessed and elevated: the superior species in the world. The krait will seize whatever they want for themselves — slaves in particular — with a ruthless efficiency. "
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Krait
It makes absolutely zero sense for them to join with the Nightmare Court. And didn’t the Nightmare Court form partly because Cadeyrn wanted to kill krait when they were young? And not let them live to grow older to torment others? So if the Nightmare Court hate the Krait that badly (and probably kill Krait babies), then again, why would this be an alliance?
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dream_and_Nightmare
Either explain this in some sort of weird story or get this overwith quickly and pretend it never happened. Unfortunately the fallback would have to be some evil Mesmer controlling both of them.
On a side note: Can we please stop having Sylvari be the evil race? Pleeeease?! And same with Mesmers. After all it was illusion magic that covered the tower…. I am getting tired of my race and profession being the singularly most evil thing in the game besides the dragons from what I am told.
Anyone with half a brain can tell the new dye pattern is awful.
So can I say Anyone with half a brain can tell the new dye pattern is beautiful. xD
Anyone with half a brain can tell that it’s mostly the light armor user’s that are upset.
The changes to t3 medium are pretty good though.
I thought most people were complaining about medium T3. I personally love how the T3 light has changed. Unfortunately it seems that most people are complaining about T3s (except for heavy), which are the more expensive armors. I didn’t think Light T3 was worth 100+ gold before and now I do. Though I like the style of medium T3, I was never intending to go for it as a) it covers my character’s pattern and natural glow too much and b) I would rather get T3 for another character. Though I do think the medium T3 is improved, from what I can tell. Though possibly not in the daylight. Not sure.
But this is exactly the problem: People wanted more glow effect. We got more glow effect. Some things had to be changed in order to do that. And, unfortunately, some people are not going to like the changes.
I think they look amazing. They are plants… they are not going to look normal… weirdness is a part of their beauty
The more plant-like, the merrier, to me
What do you find off with the looks of the female sylvari? Also, what looks do you find that you think look cool with the male sylvari?
Some looks can look far more human and others can look very creature-like with the female sylvari.
In the end, though… I think the best-looking race is the Sylvari (Norn ladies are a close second). And I really do like the look of both genders of the sylvari.
You need a Total Makeover Kit. Bought from the Gem Store, or rarely gotten from Black Lion Chests. You also get a free one for the 5000 and 10000 point achievement rewards, I believe.
thanks, I just went ahead and bought a total makeover kit. Meet my new Sylvari!

http://i.imgur.com/UznCCTG.jpg
Love how obnoxious the first pic is xD It works with your crazy color scheme xD Only Sylvari can do that and get away with it.
Nothing is wrong with his face! He has a Baroque Masque on
I like the character. The red and the purple together seems bright (what does he glow?!), but it works for him xD I say keep him in Heritage Armor with that masque. It seems to fit him
His weird name fits his weirdness. And after all, Mesmers are supposed to be flamboyant
I main a Sylvari Mesmer, myself
I keep her in Cultural and the Queen’s Masque.
Errr. My Sylvari is looking at others if I have them targeted, and if they move, she moves her head accordingly. (Sometimes so much, I am thankful her poor neck is not made of flesh and bones ^^)
Yes, their movement is different from humans and I for one am thankful for that. In my opinion, that difference definitely favors the Sylvari. They look so much more alive.
It is interesting how different we look upon this though. I never got a human past level 5, simply because their running animation, seen from behind, is so stiff. In my opinion it’s the humans that look like robots.
So it isn’t just me that the human running animation looks stiff and awkward. I admittedly have not paid too much attention to how their head moves, but nothing has bothered me about sylvari animation. The only things I note are some of the emotes being very similar to humans’ emotes, which, I would prefer them to be less similar (unless they have changed by now as I do not use emotes too much). I think the laugh is very similar. But I don’t play a human enough. I will look at this, though once I am in the game again.
I hope it is a bug, for your sake, and that it gets fixed.
Huh. That is an interesting difference. I wonder if there are other differences in other sets? I notice that humans don’t show belly button in Magician armor, also.
7/10. I think you achieved your pouty look. I am a bit biased towards arrogant Mesmers with updos or coiffed, short hairstyles (I prefer Norn updos for Mesmers, honestly). It is a nice hairstyle, but I find it somewhat bland.
Daciana Lasombra… my necromancer. She is meant to look pale and sort of… demonic/vampire-y/dark-side-y. The gray on her I would much like to change. But I do not want to pay for celestial. She will also have a Final Rest staff in the long run. So if you don’t like her set, take that into account. Also, any suggestions on the dye would be appreciated.
This is my Necromancer, Daciana Lasombra. As she will be (except I intend to get her the Final Rest staff some day). She is a Necromancer. I intended her to look pale and sort of demonic/vampire-esque/gothic… but sort of an elegant dark side feel to her. Hence the Guild Wars Mesmer robes. I would also like the white to be a bit more striking. Or maybe instead of white, have it be black, or something.
Any suggestions for the grey color of her robes would be appreciated. I don’t want to buy celestial for her (she is an alt, and though I care about aesthetics I do not want to spend that much gold on dye for her – which is partly why I haven’t bought Final Rest yet).
If you would like to remake the character, make sure you turn off the light in the character creation screen to see how the hairstyle glows at night. Also, if you just don’t like glow at all, you can turn it down low.
I glow pine for my mesmer and dusky for my engineer
Pine = light green (I went for a natural look)
Dusky = purplish (I went for a more exotic look with her) Maybe I will upload pictures later
As they are so young, no one knows how long they live
I am doubting that plants would sleep. And I am thinking they do not. They can communicate with the Pale Tree, however and compare notes with each other because each Sylvari gets a different “portion” of the Dream, if you will. That is why some are Nightmare right away because they got all the bad of the Dream (or rather, they got majority, if not all, Nightmare section of it). Every action they do, however, enters into the Dream for the next generation of Sylvari. Which is why the Nightmare court are so intent on corrupting people. Because if they corrupt and cause much pain, etc, the Nightmare will get bigger and bigger in comparison to the size of the Dream. Their goal is to corrupt it fully… to the point where the Pale Tree abandons Ventari’s Tablet.
Here are some lore articles you might find interesting:
http://www.talktyria.net/2011/08/11/sylvari-lore-interview-with-ree-soesbee-kristen-perry/
http://www.wartower.de/artikel/artikel.php?id=651 (there is an English transcript and I believe the interview is in English).
As per the names… should the Sylvari actually know what they mean? Maybe the Sylvari just think the word sounds cool? Or perhaps they mean something different in Tyria… After all, the language they speak is probably a mix of other races’ Tyrian languages.
As for the accent…. well… they are plants who are imitating accents. It certainly should not be a perfect accent. Think of their accent as a natural imperfection.
I’d suggest Mesmer for class… but then again I am rather biased and they are not super easy to level up.
Edit: I would suggest Mesmer partly because it fits Sylvari mystique
(edited by Lorelei.7809)
I play one to do a human storyline and for one of my characters to be blessed by Lyssa (though she’s a Necromancer, she wears HoM (aka GW1 mesmer armor) and is blessed by Lyssa) in honor of my GW main (though she is not named after her, a completely new name).
Edit: I main a Sylvari. She is one of my alts as I like to have one of each race minimum.
Uf. I really really hope that can be fixed… There is a reason I was hesitant to roll a human necromancer :/ At least I have Hall of Monuments armor. That will be her uniform… I really wish I had more options. Maybe I just shouldn’t play a human period?
Mesmer: 9/10. Not sure why, but I really like it.
Guardian: 8/10 I like it… but.. it just seems a bit normal to me?
My Necromancer: Daciana Lasombra “la sombra” is effectively the shade or the shadow in Spanish. I thought Daciana had a nice ring to it to go with it.
Heritage Armor from the Hall of Monuments if you played Guild Wars…
None of the armors really fit Mesmers well, to me. Anise’s armor set is good…
I think Cultural Tier 2 or Order of Whispers might be the best fit. Of course, you want a masque in place of any headgear. At least the blindfold from Named. Stately and Acolyte might work better.
Actually… I think Ascalon Catacombs is best. It is like the GW Rogue armor set for Mesmers, plus, it has a Mesmer-like Masque.
That is all I needed to know. I was just basically wondering if some armor sets had set stats that you could not replace
Hmm… interesting… those gloves and boots don’t look like they would look that good with Nightmare armor.
Thanks!
