Map is interesting to explore. But needs more waypoints.
The story this time is pretty weak. And the last battle achievements is terrible. Muck through a bunch of veteran and elite trash mobs only to fail at the end achievement and need to repeat.
If i beat it without the achievement do I have to replay the entire kittening story again to try again?
I have received 5 of these types of phishing emails in the past 6 days. When I click the exclamation to report it, what category do I choose? Scamming?
I’ve gotten back into playing GW2 and am in the process of gearing an old char.
Before crit dmg was changed to ferocity the best weighted armor pieces would be chest and leggings (maybe helm?) After the conversion to ferocity, is this still optimal? I want to mix in some PVT for survivalbility. Btw this is in regards to exotics.
For ascended armor, I assume it would just be better going all zerk?
Before GW2, I had been playing a dungeon oriented mmo. GW2 made me remember how great an open world can be. I also like how there’s many ways to acquire exotic gear (shame they can’t do that with ascended -.-) I do like the art style for their wallpapers. I like that there’s no subscription fee.
I’ve been saving some gold on the side for some T3 for my asura. If I bought it, and Anet sells some flashier ones in the store afterwards, I’d feel pretty kitten ed and gypped.
1. Class Balance
We’ve had a recent patch, but it was extremely disappointing. Everyone should just roll a warrior. There should be a dev thread in each class forum discussing traits, skills, and builds.
2. Ascended items
Needs to have much more ways of obtaining them. Please don’t time-gate them. If a player wants to put in their time and resources to get it, why not let them? Let people do it at their own pace. Artificially prolonging it is such a drag and is not fun.
3. World bosses
Why on Earth is there a 15 minute time limit? Stop with the artificial difficulty. There needs to be much more interaction with the bosses. Have them move around and hit players instead of us tickling their toes to death. It feels the same as auto attacking a gate.
1.Temporary content. I find it uncompelling and lacking substance. The only event I liked was super adventure box and that wasn’t even meant to be a part of the game.
2. Ascended gear. There needs to be more way to acquire laurels rather than dailies or monthlies. Make it alt friendly as well.
Yep. They need to increase the amount of initiative this uses. Right now the most effective way for a thief to fight is sword 2 in, spam 3, sword 2 out. Rinse and repeat until thief wins. Number 3 can actually do massive damage with certain setups and it’s an evade as well. Also, why is this skill unblockable? As a warrior my elite is important to me and a thief can swipe it all away and I can’t do a single thing about it. Not even shield stance helps.
Changes for the better:
-Higher initiative cost
-Steals only 1 boon
-Blockable
I find it hard to not spam this when I use my thief because it’s so effective. There’s really barely a need to use any other attacks.
That’s how the thief has always been. CnD Backstab, CnD Sneak attack, Unicorn death blossom-deathblossom, unload-unload, hs-hs.

I’ve been thinking of overhauling my thief build and gear in response to all the nerfs, but its too much work when the next patch may screw things up even more.
How important is crit dmg/crit chance for s/d builds? Burst damage does not seem as strong compared to backstabs, so I was thinking of gearing for better survivablity than zerk.
128% critical damage 10/30/30/0/0 Thief. HK is my everything. Now that it isn’t working I am so sad =(
May I ask what type of gear you are using and how much HP you have? I also use a 10/30/30/0/0 build and want at least 100% crit dmg, and then focus on survivability with some PVT or Valk pieces. Or a 0/30/30/10/0 build… But my precision will probably suffer so I think HK will be more useful for me.
