I agree, the female Norn looks like she’s not quite strong enough to wield it.
Epecially the standard pose (weapon drawn, doing nothing), the tip of the sword is way too low imo.
The males hold their tip up high, like hes ready for a fight.

Took me around 100 hours to get to 80, give or take 2-3 hours.

I hate mesmers in pvp, I always end up chasing theirkittenclones. Unless they do something that gives them away.

Since I’m having trouble finding anything rewarding/enjoyable to do at 80, I would have preferred a longer leveling process.
Got to 80 with about 55% world completion and feel little incentive to explore other areas since there’s no worthwhile reward.

Armorsmithing needs it for exotics.
We do need a kittenload of other items (large claws etc) for rares.

i have not had all the problems with Rush “not hitting anything” as everyone else claims to, but one thing that is utterly consistent and completely not up for discussion is the fact that the skill does not work against large targets such as gaints. you just run(in place once you reach them) for 5 seconds and do no attack at all.

Happens to me 50% of the time.

There is a chance you rally while in vengeance if you kill something.

Correction, was looking for powerful, got potent

Spent 2 hours trying to get 5 Vials of powerful blood from snow trolls in Frostgorge sound.
Got 11 potent blood, some large bones (they’re not supposed to drop that right?) and a buch of useless magic items.

GW2 has turned into a massive grind-fest for me. No grinding my foot.

For there to be diminishing returns, there needs to be a return in the first place.

The greatsword ability Rush is kind of buggy. You often overshoot your target and attack empty air.
This happens when a mob runs toward you and you rush at the same time.
The ability also has poor fluidity; run up, pause, attack. It seems to have some animation issues, especially when using it if you’re pretty close to your target.

Armor vendors sells the basic armor if I’m not mistaken.
Just look for the helmet icon next to the stack of coins.

It happened to me too.
Was there waiting before the event, ran in, did damage and got nothing.

Malchor’s leap is indeed much more interesting and better designed.
Cursed shore is actually my least liked area so far. Too bad it’s the only lvl exclusive 80 zone.

Those armors are just for bragging, to show off the armor skin.
You can get equal (stats) armor from people with armorsmithing 400.
Those will cost you about 2.5-3 gold/piece.

Start salvaging yellow +70 stuff with yellow salvage kits, they’ll give you Globs of ectoplasm needed for crafting and will cut down the cost.

The things you bought for karma are account bound.

Make an alt, buy tons of lvl 1 cloth armor and salvage.
Each armor piece should give you 1-3 scraps at the cost of a few copper.

Yes. These are not discoverable, you have to buy the recipe from karma vendor.

This is true for armorsmithing, so it’s probably the case here aswell.
For me it was about 850 karma/recipe.

I’ve been transmuting my armor from lvl 20. At lvl 80 I currently have +20 transmutation stones.

The Fine transmutation stones are another matter, was out of them until yesterday. But then I got lucky and found 5 in a black lion chest, so now I have enough for the 2 armor pieces and 3 weapons I’ve got left to upgrade to exotic (I’m an armorsmith).

Yep, heart vendors sell it in FoR for karma.

Yes. I 100% the maps and I know you get some exotics in the achivment chest. But that wasn’t my question.
I asked if you ever seen any exotic item drop from a mob.

That’s lvl 78 exotics, yep you get lvl 78 stuff for the lvl 80 area.

Just how do you craft boxes, according to the wiki I should be able to do it.
Is it discovery only?

Is breaks down the combo starter and finisher per class or field.
As you’ll notice, warriors only have one initiator, Combustive shot (bow).
So unless you use a bow, you won’t be able to preform combos by yourself.

You might have noticed when other players are around, or when you use Combustive shot, a white circle appears on the ground. That’s a combo field, now you only need to figure out what ability initiated it and what finisher you need to preform.

It’s probably bugged on all servers.
I’ve heard rumors of some sort of trick to get him unstuck involving either a Guardian or Elementalist skill. Don’t know the specifics though.
Ask in chat, someone ought to know.

Got it working. Tried it again and it worked.
Got stuck again at fort Trinity later, tried it again and it worked too

In my experience, you rally about 40-50% of the time without the trait, so it seems that it’s either bugged or the tooltip is wrong (should say +10%).

There’s also several threads about this issue fyi.

Have had that happen to me without Sweet revenge active.
Always in dungeons. Regular world is fine but I’ve died right after spawning in dungeons a couple of times. Can’t remember if I was in vengeance, but I don’t use SR in dungeons so it wasn’t that.

Same here. Patchnotes said it was fixed.
…But apparently it wasn’t.

They just stand in front of the bridge doing nothing.
