Personally I won’t abandon your second account, I keep extras for daily log-in rewards storage and an account to play on with I just wanna solo also good for trying out new builds.

My biggest gripe is the Essence of luck. This stuff is salvaged from everything, it does not need to be in the daily log in chest. I’d much rather have a selectable bag of crafting materials (t1-6) or mystic coins in their place.

I’m old as dirt and so far no problems. I craft up my extra mats for the Mystic Forge and the TP about once a week it doesn’t take much just a few clicks no big deal. I like the Gold and granted I’ve only gotten 1 pre from the MF but it was 1 more then I had.

I agree with the other posters getting ripped off could be an issue, especially since there is a cap on how much and how often gold can be transferred between accounts, maybe work out a rent to own agreement

Disappointed there was no mention of adding items to our collections, Blade Shards, Mystic Forge Stones area specific currency etc.

Bloodstone, Ember Bay and Bitter all have Scrolls you can purchase that are account bound and can be used to access those maps so no reason to make it a cakewalk by adding WPs to new characters.

What type of rewards would Anet offer? It couldn’t be anything that would give an in game advantage or players would scream about pay to win so minis, skins what else would be visible with no gameplay value?

+ some really good foods are account bound so there’s that.

For me a 100% repping Guild would be an obstacle. I play at odds times and having US based and Aussie based Guild allow me to play with a group no matter what time I’m on. What reason is there for 100% repping ? Now that influence isn’t a thing why would a Guild care how many you belong to ?

They wouldn’t be free, when they still cost 10k unbound magic. Furthermore, 50g is not “dirt cheap” for all players – it might be for you, which is great, but for others it presents more of a frustrating problem, thus the reason for starting this thread.

Like I said check the TP there is not 1 single Node that sells for 50g, the closest is Lotus and it’s 69g ATM. Why is not having a Home Instance node a problem or even an issue Blood Rubies aren’t exactly hard to get.

Why should they be free? 50g for a Home Instance node is dirt cheap check the TP.

you can totally raid in exotics. you can totally do fractals (up to i think end of tier 1) in exotics. there are plenty of ways to get ascended gear aside from crafting

I’ve pugged Fractals and no one has ever asked me about my gear, not once. Of course I always inform the people I’m with that I’m new to Fractals and offer to step out if anyone has a problem with that, usually it’s not a problem. My experience may be much different then yours but the Fractal players I’ve run across seem to be pretty easy to deal with.

You might want to mention this to your eye Dr. especially if this is something that seems to have become worse over time, you smoke or have a family history of cataracts it might be more then just sensitive eyes.

Master on Monuments, Big Spender, Land Claimer and Guard killer are easy enough even for low lvl players I do them on my lvl 35 Ellie and the 2 gold is well worth the couple of minutes it takes. Forgot Veteran Slayer

There is no cheapest Ascended Armor, the cost of the Inscription is such a small part of the price best to just craft the set you have excess t6 for, of course that’s just my opinion others may disagree.

Cheap 20 slot bags are easy to come by. Collections, Fractals and Corn cobs are just some of the easy ways to cheap bags, might check WvW I think you can get bags there too.

I think a reward track for when you’re out of masteries and/or at level 80 is definitely a nice idea.

And if I entertain the idea, something that would unlock random or select waypoints (but waypoints only) is not a terrible idea. As long as it doesn’t unlock Hearts and PoIs. And such a track should only be unlocked once you already gotten full exploration on another character.

Making them accountbound all together seems like a bad idea for those people who really like exploring. They would basically be helped along when they don’t want to.

But with the right restrictions and limitations I don’t think it’s unreasonable to let people unlock waypoints on alts once they did it before at least. Could even make it so you can only unlock crucial waypoints near world bosses and dungeons.

Definitely not needed though. You can just use teleport to friend if you want your character to be there and you havent discovered that specific area yet.
The level 80 boost unlocks some as well. And if you’re going for a gift of exploration I would basically suggest to use WvW to at least unlock heropoints. (because gift of battle is possibly needed anyway.)

You are right, Reward Tracks for exploration should NOT ever be account bound.

A reward track for each area Ascalon, Kryta, Maguuma etc that opens Wps only would be nice, not needed but nice for the players who really don’t like PvE.

With LS3, Anet’s said that regardless of where LS3+ goes, if you dont have HoT, you cant participate. My guess is it’s going to require masteries.

We might need Masteries but it would be much easier to tie LS3 to a place then a set of skills. I image we’ll need to talk to someone in 1 of the new maps.

Question, I occasionally need to teleport using a stone to help players (I help them along on JP’s and sometimes they get into a jam) and I am running low. How can I replace them? I read about 3rd bday, and wedding packs. But I’m past the 3 year mark, and I didn’t see any wedding packs on the gem shop. Is there a way I’ve missed?

Have you considered letting them use their Teleport to Friend stone instead of you using yours? You’re helping them out so why not let them deplete their supplies? Just a thought.

I don’t agree that older players just want to have fun, don’t want a challenge, I am old, I play all 3 modes at least a bit just about every day. I wouldn’t have ever even tried WvW or PvP if they weren’t tied to getting something I wanted. I would have missed out on so much, granted I felt put upon at first, even a little tricked into “having” to do something I was so sure I wouldn’t like, challenge is good no matter your age.

I’m all for new content but I don’t see any reason Mastery points should be given for Mini Dungeons when regular Dungeons don’t have Masteries given for doing them.

They most certainly are not soul bound on acquire, they are account bound and soul bound on equip. I have 1/2 bank tab full of them and use them on toons who have never set foot in PvP to try different builds, you must have equipped them at some point.

I agree a Royal Terrace pass until the Airship pass is fixed seems reasonable. Not as good as the Airship but acceptable as a temporary fix.
