After a while they all feel the same tbh.

Playing this game, or video games in general, like it’s a full time job and more is not normal, actually. There is a psychological component to that type of obsession.

Much of the same bad stuff that I witnessed in wow is happening in this game also. It’s just part of playing online games. The internet is full of elitists weather they be gamers or whatnot.

Myself and my wife thought that GW2 would be much different then wow in terms of community but we just found more of the same.

I like to represent myself and not participate in mob mentality.

I farm gold at the cash shop and the TP.

I like clicking personally. It’s fast.

Ascended gear. It’s in the notes. Also, it was mentioned in other threads…Ascended gear being able to be purchased with laurels. Rings and Amulets and possibly back items.

I did the same while leveling, no dungeons. I’m still afraid to do a dungeon to this day because of the way I would be treated. I’m not sure how to play in a group/dungeon setting I suppose.

I don’t mind leveling alts until I come to the forums and get depressed because of the direction the game is going.

I’d much rather pay a sub. and have more fun stuff/mechanics etc..

It all sounded so wonderful before it came out. We will never be free from their unspoken “mission” to drive us to the gem store. They are a company and they have to turn a profit, unfortunately it feels very dirty, they way it’s being done.

It may be their best intentions but a lot of fun and potential fun has been banned from the game for whatever reason. Maybe they believe it eliminates griefing? Who knows.

It would be great to get a legitimate answer from the company on why this is done.

Cripple the group for someone doing a level appropriate dungeon?

I’m sure they are working hard and have also worked hard to deliver to us a fantastic game but it doe’s not seem to live up to the promises that were made long ago.

It really is ashamed. I love the 80 zones but it’s often frustrating going there alone or with my wife.

Like guild wars 1 you have to adjust your skills for where you go, you should be expected to switch out utility skills for the current area.

So Orr is meant to be solo’ed….I think not.

Myself and my wife went to cursed shore only to find it empty and there is no way in kitten we can do the events alone….depressing.

Just like in wow…a thankless job. I healed for many years.

It’s things like this that make you wonder WTF are we doing playing. Are we having fun or are we supporting a company through creepy forced payments.

Agree. It’s really depressing for myself and my wife. It used to be a lot of fun when there were people doing these things but now so much is a barren wasteland.

Between empty zones and “paying” for “fun” we are saddened.

Yeah I totally understand about the whole caster thing. My mesmer feels caster like.

No profession in this game feels quite like the caster I’d like though.

Infraction inc. But i really had to put that out there.

Hoping that there are enough people to properly do what the game was designed for isn’t steamrolling content.

Me and my wife find it quite depressing that most events do not have enough people on a regular basis.

Unfortunately, what we were sold and what was so heavily hyped, isn’t working out so great.

It gets depressing because me and my wife don’t see enough people doing events all the time.

We do see teleporting bots gathering resources a lot these days.

If it’s fun, it will be nerfed.

Exactly how are we supposed to report them like they tell us to do?

By the time i click on them they are gone.
