We can’t be so sure, but when you check the Worlds, most of them are Full/High and that means alot of players (iirc around 40k per server?, read that on reddit some time ago).

However with the free perma bans handled out here and there, we can expect the population to drop, slightly.

If you guys ever contract CSR out to Comcast, they’ll have a world-wide monopoly in days. In case anyone at ArenaNet takes the forum’s more vocal members too seriously, I’d just like to reinforce precisely why it is Guild Wars is working on 10 years running as a non-subscription MMO; my experience with the staff has been nothing short of exemplary.

I agree. I had taken a hiatus after the first living story ended because I was just disappointed. So far this has been fantastic, hope the devs keep it up, nice to see some lore as well!

Just finished the second chapter, and I couldn’t believe it.

One of your NPC friends checks out an ancient device, you toss her away from it, and experience the prophetic vision instead, and at the end dialogue you can say “I have to go.”

Mass Effect or GW2? Omadd’s device is a Prothean Beacon, and Mordremoth is a Reaper. LOLOL

I guess you’re too young to have seen “2001: A Space Odyssey”.

Edit: also, the reapers didn’t use the beacons to indoctrinate.

Edit: also, Mass Effect borrowed the idea of the Reapers from the Berserker Hypothesis.

I’m just curious. In Dry Top there is a woman named Dabnia—the woman, once engaged to a man who was too good for her. Is this a reference to something? Has this NPC shown up elsewhere before. I know it is probably just random NPC chatter, but I kind of want to know the story behind her signature line.

I assumed mine heard of it because of his connections to some people who have secrets to keep. Now, where did I leave those apples?

Crystal Desert, Maguuma and the Elonian lands are going to be insane if they keep bringing this talent to the table. Can’t wait.

There is always issues here:

If they make them tradeable people complain about how you can just use a credit card and buy them without “working” for them.

If they are not people complain about having to “work” for them.

Bobby, for the love of all that is good, give us an item that lets us relieve the cutscene with whatever we look like. We could make a thread that lasts forever!
