I haven’t read this whole thread so excuse me if I repeat some stuff:
- Skin for pets. Also it would be fun to give my pets armor, small back pieces, collars, etc. Make them personal.
- I would pay for my pet to not be a juvenile anymore :P I want my massive wolf or boar please!
- More voice options for character.
- I don’t know how to explain this so sorry if I confuse anyone. I was thinking that if you spend X amount of gems at the gem store each month then players should recieve black lion claim tickets or ticket scraps. I’m really tired of spending so muckittens and get ZERO black lion ticket scraps from the chests :< I know its gamble but I would really like another way to get dem scraps!
- Mini pets of the dragons and their champs!
- Race change!!!
Thanks for reading
Market Manipulation is an often and hotly discussed topic here.
I think its so because many people have alot of different definitions of what market manipulation really is.
Manipulation in general is seen as something negative. For me, MM in GW2 is a sceme in which someone gains gold profit in an unintended or unallowed way, for example via a crafting, salvage, forge or duplicate exploit or using a third party program like a bot.
Many people also often use MM in connection with using alot of gold to buy out certain limited items in order to raise the price and sell with a profit.
While my stance (and I think Arenanet agrees with this) is that this is perfectly fine and working as intended, i can understand that some people might look at this as unethical.
Well, today until the end of the year I will do just that and will try to update and document all my transactions on a daily basis right here. In upcoming posts i will describe some more details and my personal opinion on certain aspects like supply, demand, price, background to the items involved and my personal trade history.
The Item, whose price i I will be manipulating is:

Fair trade, fellas!
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
More armor sets, all the outfits releases I am being slapped with is extremely depressing.
More non trenchcoat medium armor like the glorious armor sets. (especially for Asura)
or maybe a option to have shorter coat of all the style we have currently.
Alternate animations for idle and movement.
Makeup or face paint, in their own separate slot.
Morphable hairstyles.
Projectile and weapon effects attachable to any weapons.
Elite skill alternate effects or skins.
400 gems is too much for an item that was free in Guild Wars 1.
I don’t think Gaile knows that we’re serious about this.
I cannot +1 this thread enough.

1. Running Animation as a character attribute (i.e. hair, hair color, face, skin, etc). Bring the human female running animation back so those that enjoyed it can buy it back from the store and apply it with a kit. I shouldn’t have to buy it back, but I’m willing to accept it as a tax for being a bad person. You could even add walking animations and make more for all the races and people would gobble them up. Limping, skipping, etc.
2. Idle Animations: same as running animation, character attribute. Give me my human female animations back and I’ll by them (again, because I’m a bad person) and reapply them with a kit (which I’d also have to buy). Make each animation a stand alone thing that you can apply or remove. Add more animations. Flipping a coin? Flexing? Again…gobble, gobble, gobble.
Hell yes!
I dislike all of the weapon idles/running animations for my mesmer ‘cause they’re all hunched and aggressive instead of graceful and inviting.
I’d expect my s/s gs mesmer to hold her blades like so: http://i.imgur.com/toh0Z.jpg
And her gs like http://imgur.com/YAl8QeE
Same with the scepter and focus. Why do casters hold their wands like friggin’ clubs??!
Why not hold it to the side like the disciplined spellcaster you are?! http://imgur.com/343ggbJ (Yes, TERA has awesome combat idles. Fite me IRL.)
And don’t anyone dare say this is too hard, since the highly technical game, Warframe, has this feature!
My entry: Something that can reset your personal story/let you play it over again on the same character. Mostly for the reason that I accidentally chose to help the Skritt instead of Quaggan on my first character and I want to fix that without deleting her. :< But also, because I really liked the first part of the PS. Redoing the personal story wouldn’t have to keep giving you rewards, if you choose a different faction it would overwrite your previous one and convert the specific equips that depend on such variables, and you wouldn’t be able to restart the story again until you completed it.
Of course I’d love this to be a feature like the LS lets you replay those episodes, but I’d still pay a few gems for the chance.
Grab a 22 sided die. Roll it. If you get a 7…Happy Holidays! If not sorry bout your luck…rng suxs.
Here are some of the things I would pay for in the Gem Store:
- Profession Changer (one time use item only).
- More weapon and armour skins (armour pieces and sets, not just outfits), especially more remakes of old GW1 armour.
- Special effect dyes (guaranteed, not a chance of), such as glowing effects, trails, etc.
- An expensive reusable face & hair style make over kit.
- Party Teleport Device (allows a party leader to teleport (after player permissions) all part members to the leader’s location). This would be a one time use item (bought in stacks or 5+) or a more expensive reusable item with a long cooldown.
I am sure I could think of more with more time, but those are some of the first things to come to mind. I know some of these ideas will not please everyone but I don’t care.
skins skins skins >.> for example 2 quiver skins are not enough
Mogrey Norn Ranger [DS]
I’d like more emotes such as:
/blowkiss (blows a kiss at someone, with sound please)
/talktomyhand (like really! you are annoying, pl0x talk to ma hand)
/kiss (don’t know how to describe this properly in english, but this would be like moving your head forward and closing your eyes, much like kissing… would make sense if someone else did the same! <3)
/timid (like holding your own hands downwards, shy, and move your legs accordingly. I really suck at explaining these stuff! <3)
/eww (ewwww!)
/heart (draw a heart in the air! <3)
/sit2 (crossed legs)
/scream (screams in terror! preferrably holding your face like Picasso’s The Scream)
1. Race change (don’t care about story issues)
2. Tails (back items, don’t care about armor clip)
3. Expand on current mounts (add sprint to mount bar)
This is just my personal opinion, like it or not!
Let me say my feelings truly to ANet, the game now is 2 years old
To me the Living Story is a FAIL.. honestly.. Zerg fights is getting ridiculously annoying & boring due to the fact of the FPS mess up you guys did since September stupid patch, WHICH you can not fix yet regardless of whatever being said on it’s thread.
-The loot.. The precursor..
It’s STUPID watching some YouTube videos seeing people having 9k GOLD & 4k GEMS..
8 Legendries
And I’ve been playing for 2 years and nothing DROP
-The reward kitten loot is TERRIBLE.. BY ALL MEANS.. across all events/living kitten story/Dragon events/Chest rewards
I’m speaking for myself, I NEED A NEW EXPANSION PACK. period!
The game needs a new expansion pack
(edited by ClaviculaNox.8762)
Yup, opened 280,000 ToT bags in a hope I could get the Mini Ghost Wolf. That was a impossible dream but with at least the 4k wrappers I put in was my last hope to get the Greatsaw Skin (or any skin for that matter) at least… Guess that was another failed dream.. GREAT HALLOWEEN!

the skrittfinisher was my idea!
Personally I think the RNG is old and outdated system to make up for a lack of content, such content cannot be driven by developers by themselves because its asking too much.
Therefore we should have content customization by the player base, by increasing this diversity you satisfy desire for uniqueness and drops can drop for everyone, no need for RNG, it seemed completely redundant and silly in GW1 and it still does today if you kill something holding a desirable skin you should be able to walk off with it when you kill it.
What did it break in the battle every-time we fought?
Did I suddenly develop amnesia and forget to pick it up?
I remember the “good old days” when opening one of these chests was exciting. But I haven’t felt that for a long time. Getting some cool PvP armor was sweet. Now, it’s no better than a champ bag. In fact, I get better stuff out of champ bags, because I can at least get some T6, exotics, rares, coin, etc.
These chests, especially after 5,000 AP, should be something to actually want to strive for. But they’re lacking in most respects. That’s my opinion. I’d really like to see the rewards enhanced. Not necessarily in coin, but in something COOL, something that will make me search out achievement points instead of just thinking “oh, ho hum, a chest full of… a whole lot of boredom”. How about one BL ticket scrap? How about a random mini or random exotic or even, at the milestone ones, an ascended trinket?
As it is, I am only looking forward to the 10,000 chest, and only because of gems and larger amount of laurels. Then what? Another 10,000 AP of boredom? C’mon ANet. Step up and make these more exciting. We have enough boring loot in game.
A few things I’d like to see:
1. Lord Faren’s underwear skin (could be a summer gemstore/return of a karka living story addition?)
2. Kasmeer’s bikini underwear skin (could be a summer gemstore/return of a karka living story addition?)
3. Legendary dyes – these would have sparkle/glow/particle effects/special effects etc. and would be obtained through hard work, dedication, and a lot of high level crafting and mystic forging.
4. Dyeable weapons. C’mon, we had this in GW1 and is a must have in ANY good game. The only exceptions would be color-specific rewards such as the Super Adventure Box green and yellow weapon skins
5. A repeatable reward track for WvW and EOTM and new items to spend our badges on. PvP has a nice reward track and dungeons get exclusive skins – why exclude us from this? Sure we get plenty of badges, but let’s be honest, what we can spend them on is pretty pathetic. Maybe some Mists Armor skins would be appropriate here – or perhaps some Branded Armor skins (pics included in this post)
6. Race change item – I don’t care if implementing this warns you that you have to restart your personal story. I really don’t care if I have to restart my personal story, and many others agree. Let’s make it happen please.
7. Change your skin color for any race (gemstore item). The range of colors would be indentical to the range of what Sylvari characters have. I really want a blue skinned human male elementalist and I think this would be very popular – sure there’d be people crying saying Sylvari should only have the ability to color their skin, but let’s be honest, that’s just really racist.

I support this, all of the Towns need some big overhaul.
The Main Cities are far away from that concept of what Anet has described them how those Main Cities should be in GW2.
They aren’t attractive, they offer absolutely nothing, why you would want to go visit them. The only reason that once existed has been butchered down by Anet by putting an Activity npc into lions arch.
I made once a once about it, that the Devs should ask themself, why they should want to go revisit any of the towns and if their “reasons” are below the number of 3-5 thigns, that the game is in a dire need of gettign the towns redesigned, so that they truly become finally that, what they should be according to their own Manifesto Trailer.
Otherwise that trailer showed just another blending PR feature, that just not exists at all in the way how it got described how it should work in the game.
Polymock, Bar Brawls, Shootign Range and alot of other stuff is still missing since game release, which should have been part of why people should go visit those towns and it saddens me to see, that Anet seems to put absolutely yet no priority in these thigns to improve the game (or they intentionally keep all this stuff back for an expansion somewhen later …so have somethign with that they can hype the people later, with stuff, that should have been again in the game from begin on, but didnt got on, beause NCSoft pushing ANet to release the game quickly on 2012 so that they had not enough time to put evwerythign into the game to ensure that the game gets out 2012, whats also a reason why all those ascended equipment got introduced later, whould they have had more development time, all that stuff would have been from begin on in the game and nobody would have complained about their introduction)
With Lions Arch being now the first one as it got already destroyed, so its the best opportunity now to redesign that town and make it better than before.
Yo Fid gotta say I can understand where your coming from. And there are other people that feel the same way. But I want to say the same thing I said to them (in game not here on the forums yet unless ive forgotten). The world of Tyria…Well…its not a very happy place. We get some pretty sappy friendship and togetherness stuff thrown at us fairly often. However when you look at the state of the world…its REALLY kittenty.
If half the stuff that has ALREADY happened happened in the real world today…Im fairly certain there would have been LIBERAL applications of nuclear fire despite the long term side effects.
I kinda feel like the game throws two sides at us. From the NPC reaction we get this whole cheesy (we can handle everything as long as were together) kinda story. But if you look at the world itself not just as graphics but what it represents. Tyria is a hell hole. This was true back in GW1 as well. We REGULARLY saw evidence of large numbers of people being wiped out. Same as here. Infact one could say that the reason people in the world dont react more to the events of the living story it could simply be because the civilian population doesn’t see it as anything new.
(Oh ANOTHER fort got wiped out?) Theyd feel concerned but probably wouldn’t react to severly.
So what Im trying to say is. I see where your coming from. But large scale death and destruction are the norm in tyria from every experience I’ve had with the game. Im honestly suprised that it hasn’t been MORE effed up. Maybe it has and it is just already on a scale larger than we as players can currently witness. Don’t let the NPC interactions fool you. It’s not really a happy place to live. It’s just a place where everyone is forcing themselves to live and be happy with what they’v got because the “hero’s” are not fighting for a better world…there just trying to keep it from getting worse.
I played the Living Story Season I off and on, and am currently catching up on Season 2. Season 2 has been good so far, but I have one plea for ANet regarding the Living Story:
Stop blowing everything up.
I get that you want to make permanent and dramatic changes to the world, but more often than not you’re just destroying something. It’s the low hanging fruit of dramatic change. It’s also saddening – I particularly love Kessex Hills, but the whole zone is marred by the ugly Krait tower. Now you destroy Fort Salma in Season 2. It’s depressing.
So instead of blowing up the great world you’ve created, and then potentially leaving it damaged forever, I’d suggest you build more new things instead. If I hear about new things in the game, I get excited. If I hear about stuff being destroyed, it just makes me sad and frustrated.
I’m enormously fond of Lion’s Arch, and I dream of the day when it’s back to its former glory. I guess if you look at this in realistic terms, suffish and Stramatus are right: Itf it’s going to happen, the process would take time. After all, Rome wasn’t (re)built in a day.
I see more workers these days, and hey, CrimeDog, that’s one big rock!
If it will be a copy paste of the old LA (with a few stitches replaced) it will be a major fail. That town needs both a looks update and a technical update to reduce the lag that u encountered there. If u don’t meet both of them or if u meet 1/2 of them it will be a very big fail for most players. U will only cater to a few/niche players just because of laziness.
Also “Rome” happened thousands of years ago. Even if it’s a saying..should we still use it in our day and time? It’s kinda reminiscent of how the game development’s speed don’t u think?

New finisher.
Quaggan comes out playing a small violin then stops and says “boo-hoo” and dissapears.
Inspiration is only as good as it’s interpreter
@ gobax.6185: Weird? Most of people who plays since release knows that there are “Luck” accounts amongst the casual “RNG Hates Me” accounts.
No, there aren’t. There’s absolutely no evidence of this at all. Luck always appears to hit us in streaks, because we’re human and we see patterns every where.
urban legend.
People proved RNG or droprates or whatever are wrong too many times.
When something like lightning hitting the same tree twice is considered almost impossible, and we have lightning stricking 10 times the same spot usually, we can suspect something is not working correctly.
Seems most times players started to gather actual data, it proved something was wrong and was “fixed” (sometimes bugged more).
List of evidences:
-Ecto droprates (Anet officially admitted the mistake)
-BLK salvaging (anet admitted it AND gave back BLK twice)
-Fractals (proved at least 4 times, only 2 were admitted and fixed but instead were bugged more).
And many more.
Each times, we had threads in forums and we had many posters saying to shut up and stop with the Conspiracy theories.
P.S: In this games Lucky/unlucky streaks are the norm not the exception if you just note your chances and results you can see for yourself, avoiding any bias.
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.
