Welll palyers on biggers servers already have more health compared with the smaller onces, dont forget that owning structures provide more health arround 3-4k?? when im in the midle the map and health drop 900Hp-1k i know the server lost something.
i would adress those issues first, but what if outmaned provided some sorta buff for players to???
Players in squad while together coureceiveld some battly cry "balance"boon while in outmaned to compete with numbers and the extra health they have by getting the structures??

From what i am looking at EB map red has a super advantages of the 3 side green not so much blue looks good too.

wish they could swap hammer trait position with the shield one :| , its feels virtues as way to mandatory and our traits are far to spreaded…
At least people who want medi hammer build dont need to use the consecration and could get a more viable trait option.
Players that want a more bunker and support role with shield could use the virtues and that would not burn like 2 traits to get shield 20% and virtues boons, plus mace taitline :\,, thereres your 3 trait options used…. just to use some mace shield combo…
About the SW if we dont loose the SW shield dome pulse its all good.
Hoping that 20% boon on staff goes aways as well, and we get a trait for 20% boon duration plus something else independently the weapon or utilities used.

My understanding is that if you don’t own the structure, you can’t glide in that area. Or am I reading that wrong?
Other question: if team A owns say Lang, and team B owns their keep, can one glide into the other structure? Or do you hit the territory “wall” and drop once you reach it?
Can only glide in teritories you own, so as an attacker you can not glide there, only defenders.
And to all those people saying people would just glide off instead of running; You still need some high ground to make your glider pop. Also running off still faster so stop freaking out.
jerrifer cliff to EB green keep, i imagine players will fall before the wall… but i think i can see a way to exploit a mesmer inside… dont know if works but DH f1 or any other range pull skill used on enemy when he is falling from the sky : | or even pull glidding mesmer directly to the wall.
DeceiverX.8361, i think its only the glindding funtion w/o skill, since it says players only need to buy HoT, a fresh “Hotter” has access to glide and pve masteries stay in pve.
IMO its only the function wich is great, Air keep could later be the keep that improves the glidder skills in WvW, instead of useless transmogriffers and weird buffs… this might be a god way to give some “need” to have that structure for X strategie.
Go back to PvE. Mounts would wreck WvW. They are not needed at all.
well charr vehicles would be interesting altough only 1 per server allowed and guild needed to control structure for X time.

KB every 3 atack wich happens arround every 5 seconds?
a small straff kite will make hammer fail, and with luck stops atacking..
how did u manage to make hammer SW so effective? did u cheat??’ xD, ive used someSW burn build in the past its fun against players that expect a AFK similiar fight,still SW are extremelly week.

i can imagine that working well mixed with a merged WvW…. faction system.
Guilds could set hostile/allied guilds as well to avoid players adding alot of players.l
but i assume pve is ment to be another thing… for theplayers that dispise figthing other players and prefer scripted mobs :P
Still theres another way to implement limited zone pvp in pve with a pve reward:
An arena with prizes on the main cities would be interesting tho, at least that, there could be a tournament every day in one of the cities randomly.
top prize would be access to a dungeon of champions, something like that, where the players who won the tournaments could gather together and fight strong ascalonian ghosts on steroids .. really hard mission

We’ve made several map adjustments to the Eternal Battlegrounds, Desert, and Alpine Borderlands maps to better accommodate gliding. Besides map adjustments, we have also replaced Ballista’s fourth skill with an anti-air bolt skill that shoots people out of the air and immobilizes them for a short duration.
It is important to keep in mind that this is a test for gliding in WvW. If we discover with this test that gliding is not appropriate for WvW, we will disable it.

LinhZeri.6412, that is how i feel Virtues trait line should be for guardians :| but the traits on guardian core are a bit to much spreaded and some feel on the wrong trait… its far to dispersed and class get looses alot with that … hammer should be where shield is :|

reason i said team up with a necro, guard classes tendto fall back and get outshinned cause they have several ways to be countered… imo they are the easiest class to kill.
unbloclables, boon corrup, bon removal just for start…add how toughness is useless on that class and is low vit…

I would sugest swap tune some traits up and others down in core guardian :\ to make it more overall pleasent to use with core, dh, and fb…

Players dont need to pay atention to elemental counters on this game…wich would actually a kewl thing to add.
Vargamonth.2047, blocking some random autos atack and aoe tick is what makes Anet capable of adding more blocks to guardian, wich means more heal on block or damge on block while blocks burning targets.
I think its a good trade off, the mess is on the offensive where the game gets very easy to play where teamplay is barelly no existent.
IF Anet swaps just the shield trait with the hammer trait i would buy instantly the expantion ;|
well i hope so :\, at least hoping guardian gets some changes on core some for better some for worse, cause firebrand is 2012 core guard on steroids :\ that makes every utilities on core guard extremelly weak,with the exception of meditations wich is what always and mostley what only worked on core guard….
swapping shield to virtues and hammer to the meditation traitline where shield is, IMO would be a good start.. traited shield and virtues on one go really feel very guardian(ish) *and players that use hammer usually use meditation for Ji+hammer ring combo… so it would be better defined build to swap these two, shield provide more close support wich fits nicelly with consecrations and has a dome as well.
(guardian core traits need a bit of a checkup some dont feel right where they are, and some core traits need a slightly bit stronger effect)
That would make shield good to use with whatever elite traitline and main hand weapons…. player uses….

For some reason it feels that this new spec will be even more dps’er than DH, Dh w/o traps power creep momment is a free kill lol… and DH is awfully designed.

For Hot, the power creep and having the elite specialization trait line as a default was unavoidable. But for the new upcoming elite specializations, I really hope and want to believe it wont be the case. The elite specializations must compete with the old HOT elite specializations.
well i still would love more damage on DH F2 virtue when the damage on landing is traited..:\ at least more base damage, the heal could be a bit boosted as well, Guard vietues are ment to be strong any ways besides that DH is just a trapp spammers that cant deal with mediocre players( when ic a DH expetinf me to trigger their traps while i notice the trap animation… yeah right), DH is awfull due the trap utilities ith onlyworks in a power creep momment.
oh and if ANet changed sudently traps for something else even if was just simbols it would be far better that the trap’s as utilities -.-#
I tried BDO with friends and none of us lasted. I just use it to showcase characters I make for D&D.
The gameplay was mediocre and the lag is rubbish, the story is so bad they’d have been better off just outright not making one, endless gear grind, etc. etc.

Did you read the trait tooltip?
It’s a Daze when activating a skill with a 1.25s cast time on an 8s cooldown plus a 33% chance to Bleed on one set of weapon skills… Hardly OP.

ill rewatch the video from peachy now on the pc , i checked it on the phone… since i missed the ICD, and yeah i noticed bleed was 33% chance on axe skills… i didnt jump do conclusions…. just some part missed due tiny screen :\ where the daze was on first strike/tick? of the symbol of veagence (the axe skill):\

But I’m not holding my breath for it either. We’ll see.
well hot classes should be made avaliable on the gemstore so players could unlock them. at least that.
it would be like buy hot in modules…They did something similar in GW1. They sold PvP unlocks that opened up content for PvP-only to people that wanted it. I wonder how popular such an idea would be for PvP only players.
well gw1 was(IS) a pvp game with pve… gw2 is a pve game pretending to have pvp, wich imo for pvp players alone i dont thing theres a such thing nowadays…. those players already bailed out.

Effective due power creep momments its not a good design, even worse since Anet never cared much about how balance since class were always designed for surviability and damage on pve mainly.
(EDIT) its the new reseource guard will need (pages) if u notice theres a trait to increase your page resources as well.
Looks like tomes are timegated by CD and resource.

Ragnarox.9601, for what it looked, virtues traited to castfire on a target zone plus new stuff to add more burn and faster nothing more since it wont be a healer like water ele nor druid, ANet is making a gimmick trough what is op(condi spam) to carry the players nothing more, still its a very unmobile combat… easilly killed.
core guard falled extremelly^2 behind due new specs condi spam, and firetrash might be dangerous while supporting players ganking coreclasses… LOL

3 casts, with 1k heal on first, 3k on last, but aegis on 2nd and 3rd cast…on 30 seconds CD…
sound good on paper… but how the game works with favoring power creep… easilly overhwelmed….
oh and probbaly Unrealenting crit*somehting will be nerfed…33% chance on daze targets and bleed with no CD.

An animation for the ground cascade would be good too.
This confuses me. There is an animation. A very obvious one, too.
Sometimes on WvW animation wont show due the ammount of gaphicall clutter being loaded.
Reason why i play with combat log to controll what is hitting me and i dont see.
