Because its not rare, its practically unavailable. I dont want it to become a cheap frickle, i just want it to accessible through, and not through shear luck or being part of the bourgoise.

There’s currently a 6k item on the TP, but what if that owner decidec not to list it? What then? What other alternatives are there? Do I rob a bank? Do I worship Abaddon, what other alternative is there to getting the combination of 6K gold AND that person listing it at all.

I don’t understand the issue. It’s a skin that some people covet. Why does every skin in the game need to be affordable for everyone? I like that I have to carefully consider my budget in deciding which skins I prefer; it makes my choices more important.

How do you budget for 6K? Thats like saving up to buy 3 legendary weapons at once.
Even if I play 24/7 and focus all my gold on this I’d have to pass the baton to my grandchildren

No. You’re note producing anything meaningful at 500.

Remember it’s backwards: 500 is the “compensation” for Anet screwing up and breaking their promise on Exotic being the final tier. It only exists because things weren’t “working as intended” not the other way around.

500 crafting is a BAD thing.

This is getting beyond ridiculous. Not sure who posts it for 6K, since it costs 600g to post, and you have to assume anyone’d pay 6K.

But I have a ‘fair’ suggestion to reintroduce this staff:

Mad Whispers (tiered achievement)
> complete tier 3 (of 4) of pvp class specific necromancer wins
> complete personal story on a necromancer
> complete a full achievement bundle on any halloween event
> complete fractal 100 on a necromancer
> earn 5k WvWXP on a necromancer
> kill Tequatl, and some other undead specific creatures

This will maintain a slight elitist value on the item as only real dedicated necromancers would go through this

you look at it the wrong way. instead of calling it waste, call it choice and say that excess allows you a jump start on future masteries.

Agreed, But it probably would have causes other problems to make season 3 specific masteries. I’m with you on thinking they should’ve used Tyrian Mastery Points, but maybe they prepared for the fact that Tyrian Mastery Points are only used for core content (character functioning, raids, fractals, etc) rather than story related content

I’m oversaturated on mastery points as well. However, I think everyone’s point is that more masteries than needed were put in the game so that you can skip stuff you don’t like or have a hard time with. They were NOT put into the game for extra rewards.

If your idea is implemented than the devs not only have to create a vendor that sells items, but they also might have to somehow change an item type (masteries) that was never meant to be a currency to a currency. There is the problem that you want to make it so that the people who don’t have max masteries don’t spend masteries because that means they might not have enough later. However, maybe people who don’t have maxed masteries, and don’t care about the other masteries, still want to sell their current masteries. What if these people change their minds after they sell their masteries?

That is simply fixed by not having the vendor unlocked until they have completed all Maguuma and Season 3 masteries

I prefer 2 and 5 the other way around.
While indeed balthazar was revealed in episode 5, the same episode had a biodome in a place you’d expect desolate destruction. Hence i’d connect balthazar to episode 2 and Melandru to episode 5.

I too am regretting my purchase, but I disagree with the above posts.

1. Allowing ‘your friends’ will simply allow the 20 different alternate accounts the botters have to load in for free mats, ie., “please make botting easier.”

2. I am very disappointed that it is only providing about 3 items per day. Please leave this item so that it only allows the owner to collect mats, but increase the amount of mats .

Afaik it doesnt provide 3, i got 3 yesterday, 5 today, and dulfy even got 9 in the first try

• Marauder all around, Force/Air + Force/Fire + Superior Chrono runes
• Dom: bottom bottom top
• Ill: m m m

I think you could run the same thing with zerker instead of marauder, based on my guess as to your personal skill level (from reading your posts) — squishier but faster kills. Leadership runes, if you wanted to be raid-ready. Chrono is fine, esp with the three wells; could also swap in scholar’s or other sixth-bonus deeps effects.

Thanks a bunch, ill try it out. Im experienced on other classes so i might handle berserker well, giving dodging and blocking works normally, otherwise i can always swap to more defensive skills

It’s an intended design choice to keep people from doing the usual complaints that they’ll do about content gating.

Sadly there’s so much choice that its absurd to see these complaints from people.

It’s not so much a complaint about the mastery points themselves, as its about the lack of use for them. If you’ve been active since HoT came out you should have like 10-15+ atm, as I’m currently at 23 spare, and there are still more points I have yet to gain.
That’s why I recommended a vendor; useful, but not incredible overpowered rewards, just as an extra for the people who do have the surplus.
Stuff like.. Assorted rares, or an exotic piece of equipment. Useful if you have it, but nothing you can’t do without

Since chapter 3 the devs have added repeatable hearts, but the downside is that you can’t see events unless you do them every single day again and again. When I enter a zone, I’d very much love to see where the events are, not not where the camp with all the sleeping skritt is

Hope chapter 6 has a mastery that costs 23 points (6)

As it stands, we’ll be left with a LOT of unused Maguuma mastery points. Maybe we can add a vendor to spend the spare points (unlocks automatically after all possible masteries have been learned to prevent accidental over-spending) as a reward for the people who invested effort into them.

my one stake is that I thought I could go on vacation and receive a mail every day, but you only receive the mail if you actually log in, so.. sadly

1 wont work. When balthazar was still in full glory you literally couldnt be in his presence. The fact that we can see and talk to him like this in gw2 is proof he’s either fake or powerless. There was one man who could see them for a bit, so he modelled statues of them, before going blind after after he met dwayna. As a result, he was never satisfied with his work because dwaynas beauty was simply imcapturable. It eventually drove him to madness and suicide.

So if we ‘somehow’ go back in time to interact with them, our minds may not stably return

On another slide, it would be cool for all classes to have a set of ‘unarmed’ skills.
The only problem would be the lack of stats and sigils, but maybe they can then copy the stat ratios from equiped gloves or rings.

I cringe every time I see someone suggesting Braham and the Norn should be the focus of the season finale. It’s easily the least important part of the story. Who cares if they fight Jormag anyway, they are only going to get themselves killed.

Because three three reasons, and yes, we all hate Braham

1, he has magical arrows believed to able to kill the Serpent now.
2, Taimi believes killing another Dragon can be catastrophically catalytic
3, Jormag is most likely knocked out at the moment

As a result, Braham is currently one of the biggest threats in the world because he still thinks with his unchanged diaper

Not really sure why anyone thinks Braham, magic spear and all, is a bigger threat to an elder dragon than the God of War though. I don’t look at those two guys and think Braham is the bigger problem.

I think Balthazar is a much bigger problem.

I never said Balthazar was a lesser threat. But we’re choosing better nuclear fallout and napalm rain. What’s your pick? (Bit of a hyperbole, but you get my point)
