I love how this thread is titled “How to farm dragon coffers” and then there’s a video that shows you how to get 6 coffers in about 5 minutes, while paying a little fortune for teleportation.
You know what’s more time effective if you want to waste money and need the coffers? Buy them off the trading post.
This is false.
I’ve made and continue to make profit by warping as fast as I can. Make about a gold an hour selling minis/food/candies. All the while searching for my golden ticket. I open around 100-200 chest an hour.
opened 1000 too look vid:
I wanted to hit you in the face with my shoe within the first 30 seconds. Really jealous at this point.
Well, since they are now invulnerable at spawn, maybe the need to “Solo” them will slow down considering its more efficient to have more people their to kill faster.
Good luck finding people who want to go out and farm them in a week when all the hype is dead.

Seems they got their “Buff”. We shall just see how much they were buffed…
more hp???? Really wtf!? how is this relevant? So let me understand this everyone wants them to be harder? Why? Apparently they never saw Winter’s Day mobs, those were near godlike dmg and hp. And everyone wants more of it. Being a low level it was IMPOSSIBLE to farm those things and you guys want more of that crap? Some people farm them solo you know and not in groups, what about them? Sad day indeed in GW2. This is ridiculous >.>
They can die in low level zones in less than a second. i.e. lots of people couldn’t tag them to get the coffers even if they try. Raising their health so they’ll survive long enough for the tag is natural.
There’s a difference between raising their health so people can tag them and raising them to “godlike hp”. Just ask the guardians how much health they’ve added to their spirit weapons and how godlike that made them.
They are quite hard to deal with solo now. With the 3 second invulnerability buff when spawned, their naturally hard hitting attacks, and now higher hp; they’re really overtuned. Add insult to injury, they can attack us while invulnerable. They’re tougher than the mobs surrounding the area.
I could deal with a group in Dregehaunt Cliffs in 3 seconds flat. Now, takes about 20 seconds and with me coming a lot closer to death. Please do something about this ArenaNet.
“Farm lower lv zones” is what this patch screams at me. Why bother fight things that might kill you when you can screw over lower lv players by farmer their zones :S
I tried it. Similar results. The hologram mobs are now tougher than the mobs in the surrounding area.

Does ArenaNet have a gambling license to sell these boxes anyway?
You don’t need one for virtual items, as you don’t even own your account.
Edit:
“GW2 – the game without grind and farming” © ANet ^^
LOL
Go back and read what they actually said. They want you to grind for cosmetics. They don’t believe in farming for top tier stats. As in my 10 gold exotic weapon performs just like a 2000 gold exotic weapon.
(edited by Aristio.2784)
Would I like a sure way to get a skin, sure. But that was not advertised, so I don’t expect it.
Say some guy had a bad day and gets dumped by his girlfriend. He’s emotional and dumps $50 into the gem store in dragon coffers to get the weapon skin, and gets no weapon skin. It’s truly stupid.
Dragon Bash: The event of feels.
People should be responsible for their own actions.
Because the engineer rifle is the best weapon in the game.
What makes you say that?
This is my Rifle, this is my gun. . .You know the rest.
Rifles>All
I love the blast finishers and versatility.
Contrary to the complainers, we are quite a versatile class. We have:
- Reflects
- Condition Removal
- Team heals
- Immobilize
- Vulnerability
- Burst
- Stealth
- Instant weapon swapping
- 1500 ranged aoe
And more!
I wouldn’t say we have stealth. We have Stealth the same way Warriors have burning. Everything else I would agree on.
I’m an Engineer because I really enjoy technology-based classes. I also really enjoy being versatile. Rifles also have to be the coolest weapons in the game. Nothing says awesome like a Rifle.
Yeah it is useless unless you trait it, you can see how nicelly it works when traited in my signature.
Our KB only hits one.. and our 3rd is suicide unless you trait it <.< But when traited it does become very good.Aww you break my heart.
Did you forget to mention :
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Toss_Elixir_R
Self revive anyone?
And yes its not a downed ability but it can be used to revive your self..suddenly the engy downed state ain’t so bad!
Downed state warrior 3 is crap because any good player playing another class won’t have his health low enough to drop from having rocks thrown on them. Nor would they be stupid to be killed by a warrior who vengenced when he couldn’t even take them down normally.
Downed state 2 is useless. It can be blocked by blind, aegis, stability, bypassed by frenzy sometimes and can be exploited by the usual /stealth/shadowstep/mesmer teleport stomp exploits. Its position in the tree is crap. You waste mobile strikes.
Our downed state is crap.
Mesmer: Number 2 negates any kind of stomp. Number 3:soso, phantasm hits hard. I remember hearing about stealth before a downed mesmer targets can can be used to prevent the number 2? Not sure.
Thief: Number 2 negates any kind of stomp. 3 does that, too. Group stealth just before you drop guarantees you 15 seconds of stealth and you can teleport around avoiding random damage if someone has the time to keep auto attacking around for 15 second
Guardian: 2 AOE knock back, powerful but can be negated by stability/blind/distortion/shadowstep/ blink and teleport/Aegis
Guardian 3 is useless if someone is on youNecro: 2 same as warrior, 3 is worse than warrior.
Engineer:2 is like warrior, 3 is worse than warrior. They have the throw potion linked above making engineer downed state>>>warrior. If you don’t slot it then its not my fault we don’t slot traited vengeance
Ele: 2 negates everything. 3 is useless.
As you can see, the best downed state abilities are for the holy trinity as always: Mesmer/thief and guardian.
Instead of coming here and pretending that Engy down state options are inferior to a warrior, why don’t you go to spvp forums and complain about the thief/mesmer ones?
I don’t agree. Guardian #2 is easily predictable, and very easy to just dodge. Mesmer #2 and #3 are “meh” at best; since it’s really easy to tell which Mesmer to stomp once they hit #2 and the Illusionary Assassin hits sorta hard if traited for it. Thieves don’t have a long range on their #2, which makes avoiding a stomp a bit tricky to pull off while their #3 is just used to negate a stomp, which while helpful, will only fool newer players who don’t know the thief remains stationary once they pop their #3.
The absolutely worst downstate profession I believe is Necromancer. Its #3 is beyond useless, with their #2 only being a one second fear. With Engineer and Guardian a close second.
Which trait would you remove/move in order to put Deadly Mixture into the Firearms trait?
Even with Deadly Mixture Flamethrower is inferior. Only thing I see improving is build diversity but even then you probably want the pts into alchemy to make use of the might stacking from Jugg.
Create a new one and merge Fireforged+Deadly Mixture.
Make tool kit a two hander and give it some aoe stuns or knockbacks and a whirlwind
Don’t you dare touch my Tool Kit. It’s a 9/10 weapon kit with the only thing keeping it from a 10/10 is the cast time on Box of Nails. Also, since Tool Kit is a melee kit, why would anyone want a knockback on it? Knockdown would be better.
I wont make long lists that no dev will ever read or even take serious, but i will say this. I’d really like to see traits have more omni-purpose.
We’re a supposedly versatile, so much that we get hybrid-taxed for it, then we need traits to actually reflect this.Right now traits are just tunnelvisioning on very few of our weapons at all. Grenadier, Juggernaut, Coated Bullets being some prime examples. Giving a (big) boost to only a single weapon/kit.
That doesnt motivate multi-weapon/kit use at all, its specializing. And that doesnt stroke well with being “versatile”, when we have some of the least versatile builds and our top builds are all highly dedicated to specializing for a single purpose.
I just do it to pass the time and to get things off my chest. I know it’s useless, but it can be fun.
About the specialization traits, you do notice that those are all Grandmaster traits? If you take a look at Master and Adept traits, -most- of them are applicable to everything. As in, you choose to specialize and go 30 deep, or spread it around and be versatile. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
I’m cashing out!
GW2 is not the CoD or LoL of MMO’s it was trying to be. Of being super accessible and casual, yet reward players for skill and hardcore play as well. And even LoL is ruined quite a bit from the catering to casuals as the game as a whole is watered down and there is a whole load of depth removed from the game its derived from, DotA, just to cut down on the frustration of new players.
But GW2 just doesn’t care about the hardcore gamer at all, another thread stated the game was elitist in the opposite sense in which this word is usually used, in that if you aren’t the ideal player for Anet, if you don’t play between X and Y hours and are a tryhard in general, the game wants you to bugger off, you’re going to ruin it for the casuals.
Anet finally added endgame vertical progression in the form of ascended gear, and all the casuals SCREAMED that this was adding a gear treadmill. So now Anet vows that there will be no further treadmill. So what is the hardcore endgame now? Back to twiddling your thumbs, and trying to get that legendary while you rot in diminishing returns. Anet realizes this is a problem and thus they are working on revamping their PvP offerings, which in reality, is the only way you will keep hardcore players playing without adding a PvE gear treadmill.
Atm GW2 is not rewarding in terms of time put into the game or the amount skill/effort you put into it, just so the casual player can have his day in the sun and achieve just as much as people more dedicated to the game. Whereas more healthy game design would allow players to play the game both casually and as a hardcore gamer, giving both methods of playing unique perks. Take LoL for instance, casual players are generally as competitive as everyone else and can get champions faster than hardcore gamers in terms amount of hours played thanks to the First Win of the Day bonus, while hardcore gamers will generally have more options to choose from, along with getting to hone their skills more.
It’s still fun for me.
Why isn’t fun a reward anymore? Did we need “ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED!” every time we stomped on a Koopa Shell? Did we need endgame progression in Contra? Did we need to get better boxing gloves in Knock Out?
When did games start being more about reward and less about fun?
Stuffs
Ugh, have to reply to each one.
Explosions.
1. That’s what the trait does currently. Someone mentioned having a EG Elixir Bomb drop; I like that idea.
2. Too much. 15% is decent right now for a 10 point skill, as three grenades can each proc a bleed. 20% would be the maximum I can see this going.
3. Why?
4. No. I like my 1500 range and I think everyone here does as well. Would rather see it travel faster if I’m loosing my range.
5. Could work. I don’t like the smoke bomb to begin with.
Firearms.
1. How much vulnerability? I would go for 5-8 stacks.
2. Pistol damage by itself is horrendous. It’s a condition weapon and wouldn’t help that much.
3. I can agree to the 33% chance, but the cooldown is silly. You miss 1 attack every 20 seconds.
Inventions.
1. It does already.
2. Eh.
3. Reduced by 90% is best. The standard in most MMOs for stationary pets.
4. Agreed
5. No. Would make the turrets even more fragile than they already are.
6. Make it 10 seconds, and no healing the turrets.
7. Agreed.
Alchemy.
1. Would rather just up the conversion rate. 10% seems nice.
2. No, no, no. Elementalist have a similar trait, http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bountiful_Power. 5% would be far too powerful.
3. Okay, I can deal with this. Also make it effect ranged attacks.
4. Okay.
5. 20% health is far too low. Going to be hard to make use of it if you’re about to die.
Tools. 1. Fair enough.
2. ^
3. I personally would not mind a turret, but Flame Turret doesn’t come to mind.
4. Eh. I don’t like it. But I don’t hate it.
5. Would rather go with cooldown reduction as it’s the only weapon set in the game that doesn’t come with a cooldown reduction trait.
6. The cripple is almost necessary with this trait. We have zero gap closers (Except Magnet) unless you think turning around and using a stun breaker counts as a gap closer.
7. Very nice idea.
8. Wow, very nice idea.
9. Eh. Don’t like it, don’t hate it.
10. Don’t like this idea. Turrets are horrible and should feel bad.
You made the first mistake when you started base your changes on what other proffesions have
Look, I get this. I get why Warrior or Mesmer has this or that.
But can you honestly say this is right:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Precise_Strikes
vs.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sharpshooter
It makes no sense to have that small of a difference. They cost the same amount of points and both in the second tree of both professions in the same exact spot!
Also:
I would more see Rifled barrels making turrets recharging 20% faster.
You’re thinking of Turret Rifled Barrels. Rifled Barrels increases range of Pistol/Rifle/Speargun.
(edited by Aristio.2784)
We have the most access to fear.
We transfer conditions better then any one.
While this is true, don’t Warriors have the best fear in the game at three seconds? Maybe 4 due to some trait I’m forgetting.
Seriously, Necromancers needs more fear and the axe needs to cleave.
Edit: Forgot Master of Terror.
(edited by Aristio.2784)
Also pretty much permanent Fury uptime for 10 points? How insane ain’t that??
Elementalist have the ability to do this.
Pretty much 60% of what you wrote takes some of our greart traits, that often see play, and turn them insane Op
No, I just placed certain skills comparable to other professions skills. Target the Maimed and Sharpshooter come to mind.
I am still not sure tho, that any one would pick Armor Mods and Adrenal Implant even with those changes
Armor Mods was changed to be comparable to Warriors Spiked Armor trait. Adrenal Implants was changed to keep it’s place as a Grandmaster trait since Rangers have the same trait only 5 points into Survival.
Also, there is no point in removing traits, should should rather fix them!
The skills I want removed have almost zero use. They are rarely, if ever, used in any build.
Overall, the only things I changed where skills that are inferior to others’ similar traits. I boosted a few things that should be boosted to make them more desirable to take such as Enhance Performance. Automated Response is still broken and doesn’t do what it’s supposed to, so I just changed it to something similar. Coated Bullets only effects two Pistol abilities, so I thought an added bonus would give it the extra umph to make it Grandmaster worthy. Some traits should be merged, as was the case with Rifled Turret Barrels which was once two different skills. Always prepared is a horrible trait, and we’re the only profession in the game without an “On revival” trait, so I thought I would change that to something useful.
I’m not just throwing things out for no reason. I’ve been playing Engineer since BETA2 and I’ve seen us slowly dwindle in competitive gameplay. Our once king of CC is a mere shadow of what it used to be, our dangerous Conditions laughed at now, and our Burst is laughable at how hard it can be to accomplish; with the only redeeming thing about us is our survivability.
To be removed:
Acidic Elixirs
Acidic Coating
Knee Shot
Power Shoes
Leg Mods
Exploit Weakness
To be merged:
Short Fuse+Explosive Powder
Rifled Barrels+Hair Trigger
Fireforged Trigger+Deadly Mixture
To be adjusted(Adjustments in Bold):
-Forceful Explosives
Explosions have a larger explosion radius.
-Enhance Performance
Gain 5 stacks of might for 15 seconds when you use a heal skill. This effect cannot trigger more than once every 15 seconds.
-Autodefense Bomb Dispenser
Drop a Big Ole Bomb whenever you are disabled (stun, daze, knockdown, knockback, launch, float, sink, fear). This effect cannot trigger more than once every 30 seconds.
-Sharpshooter
33% chance to cause bleeding for 3 seconds on critical hits.
-Target the Maimed
10% increased damage against bleeding foes.
-Infused Precision
50% chance to gain fury for 5 seconds on critical hits. This effect cannot trigger more than once every 5 seconds.
-Go for the Eyes
Critical hits (No longer exclusive to the rifle) have a 50% chance to inflict blindness for 5 seconds. This effect cannot trigger more than once every 10 seconds.
-Coated Bullets
Pistol shots pierce, +50 Condition Damage.
-Low Health Response System
Gain regeneration for 10 seconds when you are attacked while under 50% health.
-Protective Shield
Gain protection for 5 seconds when you are hit with a critical attack 20 second cooldown.
-Automated Response
Remove one condition every 5 seconds while under 33% health.
-Always Prepared
Drop 4 Bandages and 1 Antidote when you start to revive an ally. This effect cannot trigger once every 30 seconds.
-Packaged Stimulants
Med Kit skills can be thrown, and reduces cooldown of Med Kit skills by 20%.
-Armor Mods
Gain 5 seconds of retaliation when critically hit. 15 second recharge.
-Adrenal Implant
100% faster endurance regeneration.
There ya go devs. No need for any thanks or credits, just please do it.
I think Engineers should not be punished for strategically using immobilize with Big Ol’ Bomb. Isn’t that the point of the skill? Nerfing it would be silly.
That said, I think they should make a more dramatic effect for the sake of telegraphing it better.
It’s in all technicalities, an unintended bug. There’s a difference between strategically using skills to your advantage, and exploiting something unintentional
Granted, no one should be stupid enough to stand in a big ol’ bomb radius, but the same was true of 100nade burst, and look what happened there.
Now that it’s been brought to light, you can bet on some haphazard fix to be incoming, sadly.
You make my head hurt.
Yes, immobilizing someone so a skillshot lands is a bug/exploit. Obviously.
I never get these threads at all.
Legendary weapons are an option. A skin, nothing more, and a set of meh stats. You aren’t forced to do any of it because nothing a Legendary weapon offers makes you better at anything.
My 10 gold exotic does just as much damage as your 1500 gold Sunrise. Big whoop.
It appears
That should answer your question. Eyes playing tricks on you.
zaitan was the bigest disapointement ever
More of a let down than the ending to Fable 2? Eh. . .
not really, it’s just a “finisher” move, the same functionality could exist underwater without it using a stomp-like animation.
No it can’t. Here’s why.
Next time you’re downed on land, try pressing your character movement keys.
Then, when you’re downed in the water, try pressing your character movement keys.
Come back to me with the results.
Why do you constantly nerf us?
Ranger’s have to be good somewhere eh, they certainly aren’t anywhere else.
But this is why we need underwater stomping.
You do understand why underwater stomping can’t exist, right?
The only MMO to do emotes right is Final Fantasy 11. They have specialized job emotes that are earned by doing quest.

Stances. Stances add secondary effects to all main weapon skills. If you use a skill in Snake Stance, it will go ahead and maybe chill your opponent, if you use the same skill in Ram Stance, it will buff you with might, and if you use it in Turtle Stance, you will blind the enemy.
Snake Stance-Meant for Control
Ram Stance-Meant for Damage
Turtle Stance-Meant for Support

Just a idea fora Anet to make some more money. remove the gold>gems exchange, add the gem store items to the diffrent dungs. why? it gives ppl a reason to run the dungs, it adds an extra exitement to the dungs. overall a win win,
inspired by dontain ^^
ps sorry for bad english
No. This is a bad idea.
The Engineer gets packages, each of which gives them a whole new weapon bar.
Being rather disingenuous forgetting those.
We’re not forgetting them because they’re not actually weapons. Nor do they come with every build as Atunements do with Elementalist. We also loose Utility Slots when we choose Kits, which prevent us from using Stun Breakers, Invulnerables, Boons, ect.
Engineers have the lowest amount of weapon choice, period.
Rocket Boots are why Elixirs are far superior to Gadgets.
Arena Net can’t balance professions. It has been clear since release. Nothing to see here.
So much for being an E-sport.
I believe immobilize is too strong and should be nerfed in some way, as time has gone on in WvW it is becoming more and more common to see groups with an emphasis on immobilizing, our small group has been trying to abuse it when we can and of course it’s incredibly effective, definitely the strongest condition in WvW, it really wins fights by itself if condition removals aren’t ready, as if there isn’t always too many conditions on you to hope it will be one that gets removed.
I would like to see a diminishing return of some sort on it, like if you get immobilized you get a buff that makes you immune to immobilize for the same duration you just spent in it, it’s the chain immobilizes that make me want to break my keyboard personally..
I also think having stability block immobilize being applied but not remove it would be an awesome solution, or being able to dodge on the spot.
Go away. Do you know how hard it is for an Engineer to keep an opponent within range? Engineers have no gap closers, minus Jump Shot but I don’t think any Engineer would honestly count that.
-Where they were more Elven type of beings. I wish they gave players the option to play as either a plant Sylvari or an elven-ish Sylvari.
:(
Concept art is a helluva’ thing.
Also
Asuras are different looking Dwarfs.
Norn are just tall Dwarves. Ale and all.
The Engineer community are masochist. Why can’t we be very strong, is there something wrong with that?
1) Purchased a PS4 or new Xbox system at launch
2) Have a compatible keyboard and mouse for that system
3) Have an interest in GW2 or MMOs in general, but are unwilling/unable to play on PC for some reason
4) Are fine with GW2 using a sizable amount of their system’s data storage space for future patches and updates
5) Have a dedicated internet connection for their system (seems like a given, but Microsoft has a tendency to make this difficult and/or charge extra for this)
1. The Guild Wars 2 Port to PS4 would be long after launch. I’m guessing 2+ years.
2. Any keyboard can be plugged into a PS3 and work. A $5 swap-meet keyboard works. If not, they have the separate keyboard attachment.
3. Wants to play GW2, unable to afford a proper gaming PC.
4. Considering GW2 right now takes up 17GB, and new consoles now come with a minimum of 160GB models, it isn’t that much. Also taking note that we might be able to upgrade our storage like we were able to for the PS3.
5. This is just a silly statement. If you want to play MMOs or online play, of course you’re going to have a connection.
If done correctly, one won’t even need a Keyboard for proper play. Using the triggers as modifier keys, and having Select as a way to open a new UI menu to access gear/inventory/map/ect (Like Final Fantasy 11), I don’t see why a maximum of 14 buttons couldn’t be bound to a controller.
Here’s a good example: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YROM5NF7bCbkbJTsEvZ2XRPHZSYdtctkPzj9yo0zleI/edit
Both Final Fantasy 11 and 14 are/going to be playable on the PS3. I don’t see -any- reason why GW2 can’t be ported to PS4. The way FFXIV are handling skills for a PS3 controller is great too.
With how high graphics are for FFXIV, they still made a good port. AND all the servers for FFXI are cross-platform (PS2/PS3/PC/360) and FFXIV will have cross-platform servers.
There should be a transparent solar system floating around you as an aura. Critical hits with the weapon has a small meteor hit the enemy. Foot steps would be purple with stars in them.
Turrets need to be nearly indestructible and hit like a truck. They are point defense tools, and should actually be a considerable threat. We loose out on Weapon Swapping, Boons, Stun-Breakers, and Condition Removers when we go full Turrets. They need to matter.
Give them the ability to critically hit for god’s sake!
(edited by Aristio.2784)
If this ever happens on my server’s match up, I’m going to find my way over, and mist-form STOMP any and all participants. I will find ways to disrupt the entire process over and over again. Why? Because this is NOT Warhammer Online (where they did this bull droppings thing a lot) and this kind of buddy-buddy 1 on 1 is NOT what WvWvW is design for. Because, it’s designed for massive fights between each servers with full enemy in mind (no, they’re not friendly sparing matches).
If you want that kind of 1vs1 fights. Go into the Heart of the Mists and start an empty server with just you and the opponent for the duel. Nobody wants to join a 2 person server, and you get the opportunity to duel. Good luck.
I don’t think you’ll last long against 12+ people.
P.S. I like this idea. I really do. Making it in a Borderland area is a plus as well since most que for the Battlegrounds first.
(edited by Aristio.2784)
Ether Renewal: The short recharge is deceptive, with an activation time of 4 seconds it is quite longer than it looks. It does cure conditions, though.
I find it to be the absolute best heal in the game. Cures 8 conditions and basically a Get Out Of Jail Free-card. It has a tiny recast and can be used for getting out of zergs in WvW. Only downside to the skill is that it is interruptable. Other than that, it’s great.
But I agree with the OP. Our healing skills are really bland. I don’t know what it is, it is just that Engineer heals seem so plain when put up against Mirror, Well of Blood, Ether Renewal, Healing Spring, and the like. We have one regular heal (Med Kit), one heal that gives a random buff (Elixir H), and one heal that is just a turret that sits there.
(edited by Aristio.2784)
The down state abilities -used- to tie into well with what we were. Kings of hard CC and the middle field. However, we have been nerfed with our CC so many times, I don’t think I would be surprised if the Flamethrower Airblast got nerfed to shoot confetti at the opponent instead of air.
BRING BACK ENGINEER CONTROL!
I understand religion is a sensitive subject for many and being an atheist i don’t care much for it at all. Throughout the game I have noticed dialogue that catered for or against religion within the game realm and i was wondering why it is needed in video games? for example the tournament master would say “I pray to the spirits of the wild…but they hardly answer” there would be other dialogue similar to this throughout the game but i was just curious as to why this is necessary in games .
Religion is huge in our culture. Nearly everyone has one. It’s only natural to add real world myths to a video game, especially a fantasy role playing game.
yeah, maybe with time when everything else is patched and fixed, they’ll implement this along with a wardrobe so I can quick switch to another set of armor AND trait build :/. Heck, i’ll even pay the 3.8s to use this function per switch if that is what they’re worried about, their gold sink.
You can buy multiple training manual books for 10s for on the go retraining.
Nice idea. Until some idiot guild starts camping it for free kills.
-snip-
There is no “endgame” in the usual sense of Endgame for MMOs. There are no raids, no ten man dungeons, barely a gear grind, and gear is pretty much given out in both PVE and PVP.
This is a game about just having fun. What it is not is a gear treadmill where you grind out for better stats to beat the opposite team. There’s not this feeling of, “Oh dang, I’m a rabbit rank and I’m going up against a wolf rank; he’s going to roll me.” You both are on equal ground. What’s wrong with that?
Endgame is what you make it. You can do a Legendary, work on WvW ranks or SPVP ranks. It’s up to you. I’m grinding out towards a Legendary so that’s my “endgame.”
And no, I never spoke like that in 2003. I was playing Final Fantasy 11, pretty much the most hardcore PVE game ever; where PVP is laughed upon.
https://d3b4yo2b5lbfy.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/wallpapers/GW2_GuardianWallpaper01-1440x900.jpg
This picture shows a guardian using a weapon in their left hand, yet I have yet to figure out how to make my weapon and shield be switched. People in my guild says it’s not possible and I can’t find anything on the internet showing how to do it. If it’s not possible then why did NC-Soft release advertising art showing a characters being left-handed? Wouldn’t this be false advertising? Because I get really dysphoric watching my character swing his weapon right handed to the point I really don’t think I can play this game.
It’s art.
I think the princess should have been Queen Jennah in 8 or 16 bit form. And instead of her being kidnaped. She would be under a sleeping curse, like in zelda 2/Sleeping beauty.
But then the Charr will desecrate her body whilst she sleeps!
So will some humans
Guilty.

Given ANet’s past history, I think it’s safe to say that going over 100 Laurels is a bug, and will be considered an exploit. Everyone that stays over 100 Laurels will be banned.
…ehm…
1) this is no real exploit because it’s not repeatable
2) not every player knew you get another 10 laurels (for example they guy who made the first topic about it because he was surprised by it – would just be super unfair to ban him and others who just didnt knew this and couldnt have known that it was unintended)
Sarcasm eludes you.
