Instead of a Sunspear, maybe another profession. At least till you get used to the game. A Spirit Lord Ritualist offers a lot of protection for a beginner. You can set up the spirits and move back, letting them do the work. After you are used to the game you can start using the other builds if you want.
Get all the heroes you can. You might consider getting mercenaries also, which are your level 20 characters that you can play with. The nice part about mercenaries is you can set up a group with exactly the profession combination you want. Both heroes and mercenaries can be set up with your choice of skills, armor and attributes.
Not all TV show characters are appropriate. The TV has one set of rules and ArenaNet has another. There’s no clause in there that says “but you can totally use forbidden words if they’re on South Park.”
The three-letter word at the end of your original name is not allowed. That’s all there is to it. Arguing about it here won’t help.

The password for the game is the same as the password for the forum. To change it you log into the forum then go to ‘my account’ at top right under your Display Name Avery.4057. There is a password change page there.
I don’t believe Scarlet escaped. It seemed pretty final that we did kill her. The phrasing here supports that “in her final moments,” but that doesn’t mean that we know everything either. There could be points later in the story where we discover things she’s done or things she set in motion while she was still alive. Thus the ‘out of the picture for now.’
This is what I’m hoping. Flashback moments or uncovered plots is fine. But she better not have been a clone, or regenerate, or have an evil robot twin, or be resurected, or anything like that.

You can take a cutting off a plant and stick the cutting into the ground and when the new plant grows up it’s identical to the old one.
For ANet to set fixed gold prices they would need to benefit from this. How would they benefit from selling you items with gold that they give you for playing? How would they earn real money from doing this?
There is nothing that anyone on the forum can do for you. We aren’t the ones you need to convince. All you can do is contact support and make your case with them.
The new S2 is supposed to be for level 80s. If that means any new maps are at level 80 also then giving us a new race to level through all the old zones while all the new stuff is level 80 material would be almost cruel.
Support won’t reverse ingame rewards if it’s player error or player regret. You’ll just have to wait till the chest with the radiant vambraces comes up. Sorry.
I hope that Slough of Despond Waypoint in Frostgorge now again works as before, that it gives you a message that you are ported to the next, but you are NOT portet since that WP is never really contested since the mobs are behind the wall and never come to the WP.
I’ve been able to port into that map to that waypoint now and get the message then that it’s contested.
Update: another 10 chests opened, I received 1 scrap (and nothing worth anything) making it 2 scraps to 40 chests~ my ratio has slightly improved!
Update 2: another 10 chests, received 3 scraps, making it 5 for 50, or 10% chance.
Yah it averages out to ~20% chance, but it’s over time.
Right now I’m averaging 10% chance, same as you. The last 40 key runs have gotten me 4 scraps. A friend I know who does them occasionally got 4 scraps with 2 keys then another scrap with 2 more keys.
But even though the last 40 runs are at 10% chance, overall I’m at ~20% because the last set of runs I did for a set of 10 scraps was much better than average. So, over time.
You will need to contact support at https://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new and make a ticket. They will require you to prove ownership by answering questions and then they will send your a change password link.
I don’t know if they drop from the regular coffer, but you only get one guaranteed coffer per BL chest. If that’s all you want to open the chests for, you might be better off buying coffers from the trading post at 7 to 8 silver each.
I’ve done both and maybe it’s my imagination but the mobs seem more aggressive with the orphanage one. They seem to be more likely to leave the building and to attack harder. I’m very rarely downed with the hospital one but it’s happened a couple of times with the orphanage.
That saying, the orphanage one you can attack and kill through the walls. So it’s easier that way.
They have Megaservers now for PvE. The old servers are mostly for WvW. The Megaservers combine players on the PvE maps from different servers in a somewhat random manner.
A complete collection is realistically only possible for someone who has played since launch.

But until they do, it’s impossible to get it.

You argued against putting the llama in the gem store by pointing out Mr Sparkles. I then commented he was in the gem store at one time. He may be currently unavailable but that doesn’t mean he always will be unavailable.
Using the logic of how they sold Mr Sparkles, the llama could be sold in the gem store for a month and again periodically.
A better argument against putting it in the gem store is that it’s by achievement and that selling an achievement reward in the gem store is inappropriate.
Yes, over the entire Season 2. Not on the first day. I don’t think I am overoptimistic. I think I am right on the spot. If ArenaNet don’t deliver, they will have problems. They said Season 2 will have mostly permanent content and they will focus more on content people want. Season 1 was a lot of testing what people wanted and what worked. Season 2 will be more of a complete thing and not a testing ground.
It would be funny if ArenaNet could say if I am overoptimistic or not.
Yes, they said S1 was a lot of testing, something I know several of us kept telling people but nobody listened. So yeah, it was…. lacking…
I do expect more from S2, even new maps. Keep in mind though that just because they said “mostly permanent content and they will focus more on content people want” doesn’t necessarily mean new maps. They never distinctly said “new maps.” The initial teaser in conjunction with the datamining does imply we’ll get at least one, but other things have been datamined before that didn’t come to pass, so have to take that with a grain of salt.
Personally I’m hoping for between 3 and 5 over the course of the season, but that’s a lot of work (if you take hearts, DEs, etc into account). So, as always, I’m just kicking back, putting my feet up, and seeing where the ride takes me.
If they make new maps, they may not have hearts. The old level 70-80 maps don’t. They said the new content would be for level 80s so maybe it’s all level 80 maps.
I’ve done map tours lead by a commander, it’s actually a lot of fun when you’re in the mood for that. Especially if you have 8 level 80s and it’s a map you’ve done so many times the very thought of doing it again is tiring.
You could always unblock them yourself you know. It’s not that hard. I give nicknames to those I want a permanent block and go through my block list periodically and unblock everyone else.
I don’t know. Never heard of CS just changing a character’s name. Usually, you can’t log onto said character with an inappropriate name until you change its name.
Unless the OP has had to change this particular character’s name multiple times….maybe then, though, again, I’ve not read any threads about such a case.
Best bet would be to contact CS and ask about the issue.

No, it’s not possible from your side to hide your name. Possibly because of WvW and PvP where it would allow people to sneak up on others too easily and it would be difficult to tell friend from foe without a name plate.
Sort of depends on what OP considers time consuming. The human one you can run straight to the end section, at most 2 or 3 minutes, sometimes much less. The Norn one you have to do a task first then speak to an NPC then run to the boss, maybe 3 or 4 minutes. I think the others are similar but it’s been months to nearly 2 years.
Which starter instance is it? Someone can probably give you hints on how to do it fast.
If there is no more money coming in then eventually, through gold sinks and accounts with gold in the bank no longer playing, there will be an extreme deficit of gold in the economy. ANet can stave this off by 2 ways
1) eliminate all gold sinks.
2) after an account has not been logged on for a while the account is considered dead. ANet then strips the account and sends all gold and items to guild members. Accounts without a guild will have an estate sale.
The other option is to keep things the way they are now.
If you enable ‘game messages’ as a chat option, it will say in chat when someone on your friends list logs in or out. Game message are found as one of the tab options on the chat panel. Eg. It will say in chat, scimiter.1428 has logged in (or out).
(It will tell you about every drop you get also).

I haven’t examined the subject and know nothing about it, therefore I am in a position to say with authority that there are too many Dusks on the trading post. This oversupply can be remedied by the TP barons getting together and buying up the surplus. I am here humbly volunteering my bank to use as a storage site for all these excess Dusks. All TP barons please email these Dusks to me forthwith and we together will combat this plague of underpriced Dusks.

All the new accounts that come in and can’t make any gold except from farming, selling on the trading post and then farming some more will send you their sincere thanks. Who wants to do those dungeon runs anyway?
Once enough money is gone from gold sinks and from money in no longer played accounts then barter will make its appearance.
There were a lot of changes to sigils with the April 15th patch. This started about then.
Basically now, you need to have the same sigil on both an underwater and a land weapon to keep your stack.
What I don’t get is why I’m able to see where the people I’ve put on block list are in the game. That just takes the cake.
It’s possible to not want to even be on the same map as someone you’ve blocked. It might be someone who is stalking you for example. If you look on the map and see they are in LA, you can go to another city.
