Well, no he won’t. The options are for Guild Wars 1 to track progress either for your account or for your character. In Guild Wars 2 it’s only for your account, but they named it your Legacy. Not consistent, but whatever.
Yah if you have a more than one type of booster in inventory it will convert one at random. Just have the booster that you want to convert in your inventory and put any others in the bank. It stacks with itself. I guess they think people will get lots of these and convert various boosters over to this to get one stack of enchanted boosters.
What’s going to be a pain is if don’t have any boosters and you get a key. You open a chest and get the powder, a booster that you don’t want to convert and then 2 sets of additional powders instead of the other items like scraps or bank accesses.
I didn’t say that your email was hacked. I was pointing out that a hacked email could have that same information available to a hacker and that ANet doesn’t know if someone is the owner or the hacker with just that information.
Since it’s only been 2 days it’s still early and it seems they are still verifying it’s you and not a thief.

If a hacker hacked your email then he might also know your serial number, email and password so they do need to be sure before they hand it over,
A shame isn’t ‘it. I have 9 level 80s and if they weren’t character bound I could not only farm the 18 nodes I can now reach but would also be able to guest to 2 other servers and (hopefully) get new maps and get 36 more nodes. In addition I could wait until Jormag forces an overflow and get 18 or 36 or 54 or even more nodes, depending on my luck and the overflows.
Everyone else who has multiple alts could do this. With a little help with partying, people could pull each other into new maps repeatedly and farm with all their alts.
Of course there might be some very small, tiny impact on the price of ori and ancient wood if this was possible.
Or it’s possible that they are restricted for a reason.
Hmmm. I had 1500 gold until I made the Mjolnir. Before that I made 30 ascended weapons, Vision of the Mists and The Anomaly. Now I only have 600 gold, but then I don’t play the Mystic Toilet. Not since I lost all my money at the start of the game trying to get the Eternal Princess Doll tonic.
I remember reading a thread about it, long ago. Essentially it was decided to be unfindable and probably not in game any more. That screenshot is also on that thread from 8 months ago and is from the OP of that thread.
I’m not seeing how you can make 100 gold making the Anomaly, at least not now. If you bought a stack of ectos for 37 silver each, that’s 92.5 gold. Assuming no value for the 250 skill points or the 100 mystic coins, if you sold the Anomaly at the current price of 140 gold, that gives you 47.5 gold profit. If you hold out for 150 gold then that’s 57.5 gold. If you place a value on the skill points and the mystic coins then it’s even less.
I wouldn’t exactly consider an item going from 3 copper to 6 copper skyrocketing. ^^
If you look at the spidy graph http://www.gw2spidy.com/item/50044 it has fluctuated within the 4 to 6 copper range for the last week. For a long time it was within 3 to 4 copper. Perhaps people are buying and using it and the lower priced ones are gone.

They are all the same. As you can tell by the photo it’s either 2 or 3 dye channels depending on which piece and where it is. Costumes have 4 dye channels.

Log out of Guild Wars 2. Log into Guild Wars 1. Go speak to Kimmes in Guild Wars 1.
Kimmes there will give you 3 conversation choices.
1) Show me my Account’s accomplishments. (This is rewards across all chars)
2) Show me my Legacy. (This is the rewards that one char has personally earned)
3) I’ll be on my way.
Switch between option one and option 2. (Do it a couple of times to be sure). Log out of Guild Wars 1. Log into Guild Wars 2. Speak to Kimmes in Guild Wars 2. This should allow you to see the rewards your account has earned.

When you spoke to Kimmes in Guild Wars 1, did you switch between viewing account and character rewards?
If not, log into Guild Wars 1 and have Guild Wars 2 logged out then go and do that. Then log out of Guild Wars 1 and log back into Guild Wars 2 (important). Speak to Kimmes in Guild Wars 2 again.
What it means is that your account was hacked and then closed down by ANet.
So. You need to first run a security sweep of your computer to make sure it’s clean. Then it’s a good idea to change your email’s password just in case they got into that. After that, contact support at https://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new to get your account back.
After you get it back you will need to ask for an Account Restoration, a rollback to a date before the hack. This is only offered one time so it’s important that your computer be clean. If your account is hacked again you will lose everything.
Easiest way to get there the first time is from the outpost Boreal station. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Boreal_Station
To get to Boreal Station you will need to do one of the quests mentioned on that wiki page. Outside Boreal Station is the explorable area Ice Cliff Chasms. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Ice_Cliff_Chasms
The Eye of the North outpost which holds the Hall of Monuments is in the center of this explorable area.
The only thing I can think of is that there are a substantial number of people who didn’t divvy up the crafting among their alts but did all or several on one of them, their main. I can’t see a market for this for any other person.

Also on the left there are 2 xunlai chests that you can’t open.
The guy you need to speak to to claim any earned rewards is Kimmes the Historian. He is in the second room, standing on a large water lily pad on the water.
If you have earned rewards and can’t see them then you will need to go the the Kimmes in Guild Wars 1. Speak to him. Change the rewards you can see from account to character (or vice versa). Then speak to the Guild Wars 2 Kimmes again.
After you are sure your computer is clean you can contact support at https://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new
You can ask for an account rollback to a date before the hack to get your stuff back.
It’s important that your computer be secure before the rollback. You will only get this the one time and if it happens again you will lose everything permanently. Good luck.

What is build diversity then in your opinion? It should not be so that you can get everything you want, its about making the best trade-offs that suits your play-style while not being over powered.
Because it doesn’t feel like I’m choosing between a number of equally important choices but selecting for one that gives me a disproportionate edge. With speed you can out maneuver slower players and avoid attacks without dodging. Without speed it’s harder to do so in a fight a speeded player. With speed, maps are easier to cover. Norns are less frustrating to play. There is an extra ease with jumping puzzles.
So many people choose speed that it lowers build diversity within each profession. They tie up a utility slot instead of choosing something more interesting. They consistently play one weapon instead of switching around among many. They trait and stay with that trait line instead of experimenting with other traits.
When so many of each profession uses the same utility skill, weapon, rune or trait then it’s a loss of diversity. If ANet gave each profession an innate 25% speed boost then all that would be freed up to try different things.

The crafting guides are nothing about fairness, they are about cheapest. They are not made by ANet, they are made by players to help other players to reach their goals as cheaply as possible. If you want to be ‘fair’ then farm for the T6 mats or for gold to buy them. Pretend that inscription was never in game. It will cost you significantly more but it will be ‘fair’ if that’s your most important concern.
Yah. Imo they aren’t useful to free up inventory slots in the bank but to convert unwanted or lesser wanted boosters into multi use type boosters. For example, if you have crafting maxed and have a number of crafting boosters, then convert them. Or to carry several enchanted boosters in personal inventory instead of having separate speed, armor, strength and rejuvenation boosters.
It’s possible. He would really need to know when it was. Asking support to look through some vague time frame of chat logs or email when he didn’t bother to remember who he sent gold to when they are busy with hacked accounts, bugs, gold sellers, bots, etc… is a bit much. He could just chalk it up to learning to remember/writing down basic information.
It’s no problem, you can log in from anywhere in the world. The region locks are just to make sure purchasers are getting the data servers that are closest to them in order to reduce latency as much as possible.
If it’s actually incorrect and you simply didn’t forget the dates, then it goes in the bugs forem and not this one. (This is more for help with lost passwords, hacked accounts, etc)
Unless you are a sticker about such things, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Report it and accept the birthday gift. Afaik they can’t take it back so it’s either you accept it or delete it.
That inscription can be bought from the trading post right now for about 3 gold.
It’s not that you have to use it, it’s that the Flawless Snowflakes are cheap right now. One snowflake is only about 5 silver right now. The other T6 mats are much more expensive, up to 50 silver or more each. Since you have to discover so many items to reach level 500, it quickly adds up. Buying the inscription has a high upfront cost but a lower overall cost since the snowflakes are so cheap.

Be careful using these, they don’t let you choose which of your boosts in inventory they consume. I clicked all 5 of them I got from some random key and it ate some random boosters I had in inventory – I don’t even know which ones it ate as there was no log or confirm or window or anything.
Pretty sure it’s the boosters in your character’s personal inventory that it converts. Just don’t have your bank open, just to be sure.
I’m converting my crafting boosters. I put those in personal inventory, use the booster and get an enchanted combat boost.
If someone has a complete set of ascended armor and weapons and it’s nerfed to the point of being unusable then I could sympathize. But if someone is only in rares and thinks this enough to delete……. not so much.
You people are sooooo impatient. The forum filter has only been broken for 11 months! That’s way too soon obviously to worry about it. It will be fixed any minute now! Or maybe any decade, whichever comes last.
Right click the name, choose report and choose botting. This will give them access to time, server, character and everything the character is doing at that time. They can’t use a video feed (which can be faked). What they need is metrics from the Guild Wars 2 computers.
And sometimes people just want to play without socializing with friends on that day. Or maybe there is someone clingy they don’t want to play with just right then.
A halo like the Guild Wars 1 halo, as an armor skin helm.
Differences are
1) brightness (not pale and washed out)
2) color (much more gold)
3) sparks dripping animation.
The Whispers one has a rifle with some sort of laser light thing on it, don’t know what it is called. I remember my warrior got one as a drop during beta.
You guys are talking about gear. Since you delete/remake the character, i suppose you actually put it in bank, delete char, open bank, get the ‘good’ gear, get key, delete, rinse and repeat? In ever bothered to get gear for first levels/story, it just works to easely without gear. Does that mean you guys use lvl 1 gear then (not a lvl 8 staff for instance, cause that might make the first levels to hard).
If you run straight through it you start at level one and end at level 5 so you never can use a level 8 staff.
Actually the level zero white gear with power stats is the highest available for a number of levels.
In all fairness to the OP and everyone else who has had guild stuff taken, this sort of thing is literally impossible to stop. People you knew for a long time and thought were trustworthy can get mad about something and do this. Accounts of trustworthy people can be hacked and the hackers steal guild stuff. The leader of the guild who is the only one with permissions might get hacked. It’s a shame that this happened and that they won’t get the stuff back but permissions only do so much and won’t stop this completely.
This is all false and illogical for reasons already explained.
There are no rewards for PvE dueling, thus people won’t want to because risk is too great for no reward. Thats why we have mega servers, so more people can get more loot easier. Just PuG dungeons and stack bosses like normal and you won’t have this issue, unless you are wearing full zerker, then you’ll need to increase your MF to have any effect on the PS.
