The +/- 40% Duration food is massively overpowered, no doubt. But otherwise I think Food increases the build diversity and is something that sets WvW apart from sPvP.
I know its a sensitive topic but I don’t see how it is overpowered. We have the ability to remove conditions, do we not? Cond. duration buffs seem balanced if you remember that you, or your allies, can remove them.
Am I wrong?
I’d also like to see Dervish return as a shapeshifting class that turned into monster forms that were based on the different gods.
Personally I don’t see how they could reintroduce the Dervish without the gods present. Now if they decided to mix it up and have the gods come back – that’s another story.
Just saying. Your wishes seem out of line, because Anet won’t pick any class that is even in the slightest filled by other classes, that would just make this game cheap with a lot of ‘different’ classes that actually do the same thing as others, with a different skin.

There’s plenty of “Endgame” content:
1. Working for legendaries.
2. Making a name for yourself on your server through WvW and PvP (And now the game in general, with Megaservers)
3. Becoming a leader of PvE events or in WvW.
4. Keeping up with Living Story.
5. Making and running a guild.
The question was : where is High level end game rewarding content

This. My personal point of view might be a bit different here, but I myself personally enjoy commanding Tequatl events for example. Learning the strategy and then passing it on to the rest of the people who are there to learn. I swear, I’m far more happy when I get a whisper saying “thank you for the leadership” rather than when I get good loot.
Yes, my example might not be the best one, in fact it might even be far from a good one, but for me it is rewarding to be able to do it on daily basis with people who I already know from previous runs and people who get on my map every time just so that we can do it together.
@Adry: Yes, any and all comments can be made to sound absurd if you make them all appear as if they’re being voiced by a child having a tantrum. I hope nobody shrugs off any game disappointments you may have in the future like that.
With that said – I can see your point when we, as the player base existing on these forums, sound spoiled and lazy almost all the time.

No, you’re not the only one. I actually watched it again just a couple weeks ago and it made me very sad. I even watched some of the other videos too… its shocking how much they’ve changed but it is what it is.
I’m the only one that logs in on the guild I started with at launch, the rest no longer play – and they were all members of a guild alliance back in GW1.
Mudbone, you really need to reread through my posts on this thread. I was trying to make the point that just because someone farms, through whatever means or for however long, doesn’t mean that it is always the case and that they’re in the game for nothing but.
The kitten that I kept responding to was saying that because I had farmed keys at some point in the past, that it meant he/she could sum me up as a player that played for loot and not fun/enjoyment.

Again, as its been said by several, we’re asking for an ‘Out of Combat’ switch. Something that many of us already do, just that it gets annoying without a hotkey. We’re not changing a mechanic here. We’re not asking for the Ele/Engie professions to have the ability to weapon swap ‘In Combat’.
I don’t like this idea. The whole poitn is that they only use one weapon set, as they have attunements/kits. Getting out of combat is too easy, and it could give them huge advantage in all areas of the game.
You can still switch weapon sets, Rezz, it just takes some people longer than others. There is nothing that keeps people from switching manually once out of combat. We’re just suggesting a hotkey of sorts that would automatically do it when hit.
@Arwen: I truly believe that GW2 will eventually have good end-game content. But at the pace they’re going – I don’t believe a lot of the current players will be around for when it arrives.
OK, so key farming is fun for you. What are you farming for? Fun? That doesn’t make sense. You’re farming for keys, then. What are keys? Rewards? Oh, fun?
Is key farming fun for me? No. Have I done it enough to know whether or not it was, for me personally? Yes. Does that mean that I continue to do it now, in the present, because its rewarding? No. Why not? Because its not fun.
Perhaps when you pull up my past comments, whether they be recent or otherwise, you should probably go with an example that shows that I’m currently and actively doing the very thing you’re accusing me of.
Hence people are starting to resort to other methods such as buy gems to convert to gold.
Arwen, do we know how many people are actually doing that? Is there a site where we can see the gem>gold conversion happening in real time? I’m curious about it. Personally I have a hard time putting money into a game that is letting its customer base down.
Concerning ‘key farming’: Do you even know that that is like? Rewards my kitten . It is not rewarding. You have better luck going to a casino.
And no, I don’t agree with his post – As I stated above. “I play for the fun of it.” Which is something he said “no one” does. But again, please continue your personal attack on me. Continue to pull up past remarks made by me as if it proves your point, and doesn’t just make you look like a giant kitten . Gotta say I’ve disagreed with people a lot on these forums but I’ve never stooped that low.
I have very little gold. I’ve never gotten a precursor or a legendary, nor do I ever intend to. I’ve never saved enough to craft anything ascended…. In fact the one time I came close to being ready to craft a full set of armor, I instead ended up selling all of my mats so I could contribute to a good cause (guild banning together to get a friend a precursor). I get my “lootz” over the long run. But its not something I’m farming 24/7 to have. It will happen when it happens.
In fact I get some heat from my server WBT activities because I don’t go to this champ or that champ, instead I have more fun going out of my way to have another champ ready for the rest of my guild. Why? Because THAT is how I have fun. I don’t give a kitten if I get a champ bag or not.

Agreed. You can say something is or isn’t probable. But to say it isn’t possible is just plain foolish.
At this point I like Revler’s suggestion the best. Giving us a district option where we get to choose between our home server and a couple megaservers.
Personally I like the new trait system. Hunting/questing for traits is enjoyable, especially when I get a trait by accident (those are the best).
However the one glaring flaw in this system is requiring a lvl 30 trait be found in a much higher level zone. If they just took the time to rework the difficulty and locations of these traits, it would be a good system.
I despise the World Boss Megazerg time schedule already and this would just be adding to it. Main problems are people that can’t follow the boss timer schedule that don’t get to participate on certain events and the Megazerg/clusterkitten situation that we have.
Queensdale champ train? Gone, because casuals were making more gold (supposedly) than the elitist-controlled zerker runs in the dungeons. Elitists moaned about it, and Anet capitulated.
The moment any subscription is introduced it is /uninstall GW2 time for me. Why? Because I paid for a subscription free game. Your argument would probably be that you don’t have to pay for a subscription, that the game would still be free to play for everyone else. That’s where I say you’re wrong. Once a subscription plan is introduced, every other player is then playing a subpar game.
I’m growing concerned over the number of threads popping up in these forums from people wanting to pay for services. Its a good idea, Sligh, but it should be a free one.
Asking to pay for services that should exist for everyone already, to fix broken systems, or worse yet – services that would break the game… Its a downward spiral.
I like the idea. I imagine it would even help pull people towards playing the other races, as the majority are human. Mostly just the AP farmers… but still.

I was going to say that… but then I thought that anyone that can buy a $60 game and waste time playing it can in fact afford to pay that small amount. Doesn’t make it right, I know.
It would be nice to see them return in GW2, somehow.
