For what it’s worth, Ferox was right. You can be the best DPS in the world, but if your team isn’t peeling for you, or putting out enough pressure to down another target, your going to just get trashed, or be unable to safely burst a target. It’s always easy to blame the DPS when kitten doesn’t get done.

If you are trying to form a team, the best way would be getting to know someone that seems decent in solo que, and eventually pugging teampug every night or so. It is crucial that you like the person, and eventually you will have a circle of friends that you play with every now and then. Eventually, a team will form, get better, play in mistpedias, and achieve a lot of success in ToL and ToG. That’s how almost every team is formed. The “top-tier” is really just a group of friends that play with eachother, or people that have played the infamous “NA Social Game”.

sigh this is too true. sharks started as me and two friends who did well in trioqs and now its garbage edrama that will probably disband after ToG finals. i wish lord and rantev could come back and we could reform with new players or something.

To this is the first time I’ve ever raged at Ferox or even one player specifically. I’m usually just upset at our teams play in general but this match it was only him that played poorly. Things you should note if you watched the stream

I ran off point to try to peel as much as I could but me and gorn truly were 3v2 on point

Like we understand this comp requires us to protect our Mesmer and that’s just bout pushing the limit to how much we can do it. If he’s still complaining about too much focus after that much coordination to save him then obviously I’m gonna be pised

i think they should make it so earth dodge roll isnt a blast finisher. thats the source of like 9 stacks of might.

Engi losing cele actually hurts a lot.

Engi is ridiculously easy to learn. Besides that ele is also extremely easy but also has a high as kitten skill cap. Thief has a high skill floor and high skill ceiling so id Probably rank it the hardest. S/d d/p makes no difference, if you’re still good on s/d after the nerfs then you’re playing as well as any d/p thief could. Mesmers probably 2nd. Ele, necro, engi, warr, ranger, guard

I feel like its somewhat true since it has so many skills which all affect the entire team. However the problem is the best guard in the game might only be 20% more effective than a decent guard, where as the same thing with thief and Mesmer can be up

Most people here are wrong. Ele is extremely hard to kill and I recommend targeting anyone else first.

Ele is very forgiving with positioning

in lower levels. high level pvp is just class stacking engis eles and warriors and throw in a necro

And nerfig s/d thieves one of the few classes that could outplay them helped so much with balance

Most top teams are running guard ele war mesmer thief in europe so we have a good diversity. The Na scene seems to be abit more condition heavy.

for the exact reasons bullet punch mentioned, sharks with lazers is having serious problems keeping our comp (basically TCG comp). basically, bunker guard, shatter mesmer, and s/d thief are all useless atm. since s/d thief was able to consistantly beat many cele builds, it was useful before; but atm its useless post patch. shatter mesmer also ate a big nerf with the mirror blade stealth nerf (surprisingly nobody is talking about this, but mirror blade doesnt bounce off the clone it creates resulting in a 3-4k dmg nerf). because of this bunker guard is useless since its only purpose was to stand on point while squishies kited.
so basically we’re disbanding post ToG now and everyones rerolling to engis and eles.

You were probably feared and gained stab from the passive trait. Though it did happen once to me in a 1v1 vs an ele. I thought I got dazed right after I used it tho.

Probably like 7g/hr winning majority of matches in teamq.

no one knows how to play necro including you. nos’ condi build is still OP in 1v1’s and decent in team fights.

warrs probably got hit the hardest next to thief. shatter mesmer was also hit with the stealth nerf to mirror blade.

ive been testing it out and i dont see a major increase in survivability but its pretty good. Ill decide later whether ill take it over purity.

The current viable burn build is 62600 or 60611 with meditations on both.

Lol, too many things wrong with this list, never mind the rating but the way you talk about strengths and weaknesses is inaccurate. If we use stats, you could think of it as there being DEX INT WIS and CHR. Dexterity = mechanics, INT = decision making and awareness, WIS = game knowledge and the application of it, CHR = team communication and leadership. Making clutch plays for example is just a combination of mechanics and decision making, with sometimes game knowledge or team communication coming in to play. Based on your stats, I would say your analysis of the player strengths are inaccurate for a lot of those players. Ordering is of course extremely subjective and prone to personal bias, so no point in arguing it other than saying I disagree on many fronts.

Just because you didn’t know how to use it doesn’t mean it didnt get nerfed hard. Coming from a competitive support guardian shield is pretty much useless now. And it was already bad.

Now war anf guardian has lowest population placing top100, it is fact. currently thief on team arena of NA called Magic Toker is top1 in teamq so this topic does not make any sense all. dont estimate and guess based kn flase info or just assumptions, rather, use real evidence and proof like me when you really estimate something. currently ele and necro are the most op class from the data from its population of top100 position. thief is pretty fine right now.

i play guardian on sharks with lazers and youre completely right s/d thief is completely broken now. it will lose 50% of duels it use to dominate and its impossible for them to kill bunker guards.
steal bug will likely be fixed but atm its useless.

THis is completely game breaking and needs to be fixed ASAP. We’re playing in 4 days and now we have to wait even longer before we can practice for ToG.

Heurix does have a massive tendency to lean in the favor of apex but luckily apex is good enough that they can’t really be cheated into a higher seed
