I dunk warriors with condi all the time. Berserker’s stance is 9 seconds of resistance on a 60 second cooldown. Then healing signet is emergency 6 seconds, which means they have almost no healing for the next 20. If you can’t take advantage of a 45 second window you have a gitgud problem not a class problem.
FYI this is another shining example of you needing to play a class before crying it’s OP. I play warrior all the time, and have no troubles with warrior when I am on other classes because I know what warriors weaknesses are. Warriors have trash mobility with poor disengage. You can often just make them pop their immunities, kite them for a few seconds, then return to kitten on them.
OP is probably one of those necs that mindlessly spams all their condi skills onto a warrior at once and then cries when the war pops resist. You are bad. And you will continue to be bad until you learn to play a class before blaming the class. If you had actually bothered to learn warrior you would realize it has some of the most obvious animations and cooldowns in the game.
You must be facing morons because at a start of a fight if you have no life force built up how in the world are you going to stop a warrior from getting on you an making your life miserable in solo queue? All he has to do is bait a couple of dodges and you cant do kitten because he has pommel bash, shield bash, and head butt to make your life miserable. Once he lands head butt your done. He will kitten you with gs auto attacks alone. Warriors have poor mobility are you dumb? All the meta builds have 25% speed while wielding a melee weapon and they have 2 of the best movement skills in the game on GS are you for real? How can you disengage on a necro? He is generally faster then you will better movement skills? Anybody can beat bads. Someone your skill level on warrior you can’t beat him period with a condi necro. You are living in fantasy land.
He actually gave proper advice,it doesn’t mean that it will go like he said in every situation but nonetheless it’s solid advice.I beat most necs on my warr but occasionally i do see some that know how to bait out me wasting my berserk util,even seen a nec that was able to make my headbutt fail for quite some time by fear interrupting it mid way and able to properly dodge my bursts aswell,just not all people play like that,most necs are seriously spamming away like a madman,even with berserk up and than complain afterwards about how op we are.
if you use rousing trait in your build while full zerk there is absolutely no reason to go knight since you gain 1k toughness from rousing,break your own headbutt cc alot with outrage and rousing is active pretty kitten often.
If you die for warrior, then I regret that you need to train more, just like I did, because warriors are in a level as they should be, and I play with core ranger yet.

Honestly the removal or nerf to downed state would change zerg fights and make roaming much more interesting aswell.
Have an event week with it like you did with golems, make a poll after it and see how it goes.
e.g less hp in downed state,slower revive speed,changing the 4x downed state to 2x,no invuln when downed as in pvp.

Sigh,adren hp is FINE.Its now mostly because endure pain got switched to tier 2 so every warri is running with double endure pain,besides how it can stack now.You can play defensively with endure pain up and relying on your regen..But the regen on ITS OWN is not as strong as everyone is claiming.Please fight a warri without him using endure pain and having only his adren hp and tell me how strong it really is.
it’s a real pity that endure pain is the only viable trait for t2. swapping it with CI again would be kind of interesting actually.
Maybe rousing to tier 2 and endure pain to tier 3 so we also cant have ci and ep together while still having the toughness buff + the 2.5k hp from rousing.But then people can still get rousing and ep and ep util..So i dunno,but i think our biggest issue is our double ep nonetheless.Maybe something needs to be switched to another tier like disc.

A thief can play with warri easily,pro thief vs pro warri theres no reason the thief should lose once.
Remove or nerf downed state
That would be a terrible nerf to light classes which are already having a hard time competing with heavy classes just doing as much or more damage.
This doesn’t make sense at all,what does light classes have to do with downed mode ? Or are you suggesting that you as a light class spend a whole lotta time in downed mode where rallying is what saves you ?
Anyhow,the last few roamers around might understand where i’m coming from for listing that.

People, the warriors numbers are high because they are running berzerker amulet, power runes, and signet of might gives power. Its literally the max power you can run in the game minus the strength line. If they did not hit hard, it would be poor game design.
The old AH was bad. You can’t base all the traits around using burst and then put survival trait around conserving burst.
The new AH shines in teamfight because arc divider is bound to hit something. In 1v1, it is much easier to dodge bursts. You can dodge them…
Berzerker stance has 20% uptime. only 20%, and resistance can be ripped. The warrior is far from condi immune. And if you have a class that has blinds, leverage them appropriately.
Defy pain and endure pain have a 12.5% uptime. and the warrior can still take condi ticks and lifesteal. Lifesteal from revs still does a lot of damage. 8 seconds of power damage immunity every 60 seconds.When you fight a warrior you just burst them to 50% wait a little and then burst them after the auto proc for the other half. If you try to out sustain a warrior, you will probably have trouble. Warriors die to bursts more frequently than sustain.

It’s the CPU. AMD cpus don’t handle Gw2 because the crappy outdated engine won’t take advantage of all your cores and makes your CPU do stuff that the GPU could be doing.
And turn down the character model limit. Even better CPUs can’t handle that.
It’s not the cpu,if you read my post ive stated that the game ran fine before, and i had the similair issue where only reinstalling windows fixed my problem where all my other games actually still ran perfectly fine.
Wouldn’t some classes/builds already efficient in cleansing/resisting condi’s make certain condi builds completely useless ? There’s just certain classes and builds that need to be adressed in about the way they deal out condi’s and how easy it is to do so compared to certain other classes.

I used to get 50fps on Mac with some stuff above minimal settings… Now I barely get 18fps on a better Mac at minimal settings and lower resolution.
Switched to a PC, not a great one, just a OK one… Still getting 18fps, except it’s not crashing every 5 minutes. I can’t even play it in 1080p smoothly.
What ever happened to this game performance is beyond my understanding. It’s not a demanding game yet it performs terribly.
I have the same,my fps is worse since a month ago or so.Overall my fps can top 100+ easily but especially with more people around my fps is noticably lower than before dropping to 25 – 30 where before it was around 40 – 45.Tried reinstalling several different drivers changing bios/overclock/repairing gw2 client/lowering ingame settings etc etc,nothing really helps.I remember i had the same issue some months back where the only thing fixing it was to reinstall windows.Every other game still runs fine,single or multiplayer..So it’s really not our pc’s i reckon.

Truthfully those sigils and a few others shouldn’t even be in PvP. Dealing damage for just swapping your weapons? That’s just bullkitten honestly. You already gain an advantage by swapping weapons in that you can swap to a set of skills that aren’t on CD, or to a more situational weapon to be more effective in the current fight.
Think hydro damage is a bit too much at times and shouldn’t crit perhaps,ive honestly seen 3.8 hydro’s which is kinda ridiculous if you ask me,same for geomancy when specced for full condi dmg/duration + krait rune or w/e,can even top hydro dmg easily.

Youre completely wrong actually.Adrenhp isn’t the issue,its our endure pains that every warri is running and that are able to stack double durations now,besides the fact that alot of warri’s run shield nowadays aswell,its due to these passives and sustainable mechanics that warr is able to quickly regain hp with adren hp after a burst for adren hp + healsig while playing defensively with block or ep up.Hp regen alone can be fought in numerous ways anyway.
basically,it’s the combination of adren hp – healsig while having endure pain or blocks up that makes it seem so strong.Strip the warri of both endure pains and look how strong this regen really is.

Think you just got lucky,i haven’t played this season at all besides a few days back where i won 4 in a row with a smooth team and then lost 1 because one guy in our team started insta raging when he died somewhere on mid then constantly blaming everyone for everything they do and not contributing anything at all besides being a pest.One of these can mess it all up.
If youre one of those comms that thinks he shouldnt get any damage before his entire zerg dies,youre playing it wrong..Adapt.

That’s strange..i havent used balanced stance in ages coupled with rousing so i just noticed it now.Nothing gamebreaking or anything its just weird if they intend it to happen only on balanced stance,don’t see the reason behind it really.Tooltip also says rousing should only activate when breaking out of a cc.
Currently you can activate the rousing resilience passive effect by just using balanced stance,don’t even have to be in combat mode either and theres no need to break out of cc first.
Daze is half second, but yes, the skill does far too much for one skill. It’s also spammable every 2.5 seconds actually, with a trait.
Do you people stand still ? Do you people not have dodge or blocks,or teleports,or leaps ? IF you get eaten every 2.5 sec by this youre playing Horribly wrong.
No path to target is completely unrelated to projectile obstruction.
Projectile obstruction occurs because the engine thinks there is collision in the path of the projectile.
No path to target means that the target is on a different plane than the user. It’s intentionally designed to work this way because otherwise shadowsteps would break every map in the game and invalidate WvW.
Still there are certain places in eb,like near umber are a few spots where both ports and projectiles get ignored at the same places.

Certainly other options. I like Exuberance because it feeds Valkyrie and the Furious Maintenance Oil. Keeps blow up builds from powering it down instantly. Other options would be Marauders with Strength Runes, Crusaders with Defender runes or even head straight for Zerk and Scholar. Lots of options really.

ikr! Just this weekend I got a tell from a Warrior (Rifle, Sw/Sh with Durability) about how I was playing a cheese thief build. I was running a hybrid non-stealth interrupt build which this guy thought was somehow cheesier than his vanilla, passive Warrior build.
In that particular case the warr might have been an idiot.Rifle vs non stealth thief is a win,if not hes a kitten.
Landscape geometry bugs need to be fixed for that,it goes the same for projectiles being obstructed.
The worst thing is we do not know if they are aware of the problem or decided to ignore it? There is no community post regarding current skill lag present in wvw, there is no information regarding fixing it, there is no eta, there is nothing.
I thing best thing would be a black marketing campaign on some mayor gaming web portals highlighting the issue. The problem frequently appears on reddit, but that is not enough. Maybe when the game will be receiving negative feedback from many sources some executive from ncsoft’s board will decide it is time to fix wvw, I don’t know. On the other hand I think it was already mentioned on many portals like mmo champion.
What do we have to do in order for the company who sold that faulty product to finally admit the problem exists and fix it?
At the current state of the issue I am affraid they will faster remove wvw from the game or reduce number of players able to participate in it instead of fixing the problem.
They tried several times and even lowered the server cap a long time ago,which completely fixed the lag issues while do having larger queues offcourse.But in the end we had 3 way sm fights with no lag at all,it baffles me why they even reverted it back to normal after that.
Remove or nerf downed state

Reduce the zerging aspect
Lower the server cap again so there’s no more lag
Balance skills out ( Solely for wvw ),there’s too many noob friendly builds in wvw currently
Bring in a way to earn ascended armor/weapons by either gaining a certain amount of wxp points or by having an x amount of kills or in any other way,something for wvwers to work towards and actually have a goal to set.

Do DH and Warrior roamers both use Marauder armor? That would probably seal the deal on me trying at least one of them, since I could use the armor for the other if it didn’t suit me.
If you aren’t sticking around, you might aswell ask for a good scrapper build. Learning how to solo roam on a different class for a month is not practical.
A few reasons. Main one is that while Engineer is my “main,” I kinda rotate between all of them as it suits my fancy (for example, most of my fractal running nowadays is done with my Necro) plus while my short-term goals at the moment is for a Gift of Battle and Legacy armor, that is probably not the end of it. There’s almost certainly more legendaries, collections or whatnot afterwards to come back to WvW for.
Also, I couldn’t find an Engi roaming build anywhere. If you know one I’d be happy to hear it!
Durability runes ftw on warri.Stats full zerk,marauder if you really think you need the hp,but imo theres no need for it.
Mostly also the fault of the people playing this game.I remember the times where i could solo roam at prime time and still found some proper fights and could have a good time win or lose,1on1’s even a thing that hardly ever happens anymore.Even roaming with 2 people died,all you see now is the occasionaly solo thief roamer or mesmer ( which i can understand considering all the ganking and blobbing and 10 people tryhard chasing one guy, its the best choise really ) or the typical 5 – 10 “roamers” all running broken stuff but still go down when they see 3 people but the anet gods decided downed state would be a fair mechanic in wvw so they still get saved by downed state in the end.
Also the radar upgrade for towers completely demolished small 2 – 5 man havoc groups trying to cap stuff.Theres just no point anymore at all to even try to ninja a t3 tower that has a radar inside because in 2 minutes you have 30 people on your kitten .I dont even get why this upgrade got buffed with a range increase,it’s the worst thing they implemented and zerg friendly,who the f needs scouts when you have a radar.
Besides zerging is becoming a bore aswell, theres no real tactics nothing,just get a ton of people and either kite around for 10 min spamming aoes from 1500 range while boring your mind out or it’s a one push melee charge.
They need to up the skill level in wvw a bit starting with the removal of downed state or atleast making it people can only get up one time instead of four times and the removal or nerf of radar.

More commonly the eight chase two same guild thieves on comms, get spread out and fall into a turn and burn trap. Suddenly the fight goes from 8v2 to a few 2v2 fights with two thieves skipping off with eight more notches in their belts moments later.
Happens pretty much every night and almost invariably a tell about how “OP” a build is despite the superior numbers.
Those thieves run around because of that,easy to bail mechanic.I dont blame em,its tiresome when you run a class that cant bail as easily when all you meet are the above mentioned.
I don’t see how a group of 8 people can’t ’’roam’’. Spread out to capture camps, kill yaks, capture ruins, tap structures, do guild missions in general… A group of 8 doesn’t have to ball up necessarily.
That said, if you’re getting stuck on nomenclature you’re completely missing the point of the thread.
We’re talking about a feature that would allow groups to highlight a member whilst not using the targeting feature that is usually necessary for targeting players outside the group.
Sad thing is that they do,roaming nowadays turned to 5 – 10 people running in a ball on broken builds and still having to rely on the downed state mechanic to win a fight vs Real roamers.I’d be a happy boy if anet started touching downed state in wvw or completely removing it even.
Make sure your graphics card is in the x16 slot (usually closest to the CPU).
That should not be the issue if he runs other games at a solid fps though.
Remove Local.dat located in “C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2”.
After that repair your client with the commandline parameter /repair added to your gw2 shortcut,dont touch your pc in the meanwhile it crashes easily.

the thing is.. you don’t even have to run into his traps.. he can pull you into them from a 1200 range no matte what you do… even invisibility doesn’t help because his pull still targets the thief for example…
on top of that dh has tons of shields as well to prevent bursting.
dh was already strong and still dh got another buff while others who needed a buff got a “ghostnerf” again…
ofc those dhs don’t want to get nerfed… a profession that doesn’t need any kind of playerskill to get wins … i mean come on those ppl couln’t play anymore since that would require them to get some sort of playerskill x’D

Im gonna say that if u see a dh on a point dont be the first one to go in if u dont see them planting the “mines” wait for your team members. same way a necro has to wait for the team to babysit them. A much more dificult class to play than thief. With all thiefs mobility theres really no excuse to not run away to reset the fight.
