Whilst I like guardians thematically, they have a play style only slightly more engaging than warriors.

Engineers, whilst lacking in pure power compared to there professions are at least interesing to play.

Jade Weapon Skin Ticket

From the GW2 .dat file:

109636_0740 Each festive dragon coffer commonly contains candy, tonics, or fireworks. It may also rarely contain a Mini Holo Undead Dragon Knight, recipes, or a Dragon’s Jade Weapon Skin Ticket.

Very disappointed we’re getting another set of RNG boxes. At least make them tradeable, like Halloween. Thanks.

However, I’m genuinely curious about the recipes too.

oh great another round of failboxes.

Just sell the weapons tickets directly in the Gemstore.
Slap a reasonably high price on it if you want Anet, but I dont think anyone fines you RNG failboxes fun or worthwhile. And why design weapon skins hardly anyone gets to use. that kind of limited access stuff belongs in other MMOs, I expect better from GW2.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. First, I’d like to say that, even if the Dev team does not actively post in the forums they are always aware of what is happening. The mod team sees that they are informed of what is going on in the forums. However, we will forwad them this thread so they are aware.

Thanks a lot for your understanding.
Please, keep the discussion constructive and friendly.

Please tell your communication team that posting on Reddit and twitter and not your own forums is really annoying. If we want to learn stuff about GW2 we expect to get it from teh GW2 forums….strange concept I know.

I disagree, Cameirus. They show dedication to the game each time they talk about new stuff and answering in the forums, I just miss them in the dungeons-department. I feel like the focus on living story really hurt this part of the game. They may be working in the background on dungeons, but no word to us leaves people wondering what’s going on. New suggestions come in quite often and having the devs ignoring the dedication of the players by not saying a word like “I like this idea, but there are problems with…” or “this isn’t the way we want to go forward with GW2”… some one-liners like this is just a real pitty.

They all sound enthusiastic when we do hear from them….but it never makes it way into delivery of content.

I dont expect feed back in threads, even to the minimal level you suggest, it woudl jsut create expectation, but a post every month in each forum updating the players as to topics specific to that forums woudl be nice.

I woudl actually prefer more open world content, over dungeons, not that I dont want dungeons, but the big selling point of GW2 was open world dynamc events, and we’ve had very few updates to those overall since launch, far fewer than they implied would happen.

So I did something very stupid.

Guardians. Nothing is better at hitting an enemy zerg head on and barely noticing, whilst tagging a huge number of enemies. Having a short cd stability, heavy armor, lots of dmg mitigation and good self healing makes guardians brilliant in zergs. You cant collect your loot if dead and guardians hang on in there until the end.

Anet are possibly the least engaged developers i’ve ever come across. They hardly use their own forums, instead prefering reddit or twitter, and they provide verylittle information or feedback.

They seam not to care about longstanding issues and bugs, and the quantity and quality of content released leads me to question just how many people are working on the game, because it does not seam many unless there is some huge update in the works. I compare gw2 contet to rift in the first year and the difference is massive, and uet i doubt that anet are going to release an ember isle size update anytime soon…

Why are people strongly against raids?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Cameirus.8407

Cameirus.8407

I’m just curious. In my opinion, world bosses should work as raids, but let’s face it, if you can kill it easily under five minutes, and it doesn’t offer any challenge like bosses in Fractals for example, then it’s not really such a “raid boss”.

On the other hand, raid bosses could have some really story and great buildup as you fight through his champions and minions.

So why are people against raids?
They don’t want GW2 to turn into another WoW clone?

Because it takes an incredible amount of time and resources to make a raid, it becomes the dominant thing in the game as “raiders” demaind the best gear, and so peple feel compelled to do it. and yet overall only a minority of hte player base runs raids…..so its a massive amount of investment for very little gain for most of the playerbase.

I’d prefer Anet making some decent open world fights, maybe taking inspiration from other games (cough, rift, cough).

I get this feeling that it doesn’t matter what I post, you’ll just report it which is pretty immature at this point.

Here’s the thing. If you think s/f staff is such a great idea, then make a post about it. Go make your own thread and share it with everyone, instead of undermining someone else’s on the grounds of ‘oh he’s an elitst!’ and ‘you cant really know! You all make assumptions!’

There’s no preconceived notions, you yourself aren’t even running the build which is testament to it being less effective than the hammer you are using. I have run countless builds, including s/f and staff myself. I don’t theory craft, I actually go on ahead and test it in the dungeon. It is not an optimal build and it in turns garners a reliance on staying at range. For the record I have over 3k hours played and I spend all my times in dungeons from AC to arah to fotm 48 dailies, I do it all and I test everything available to me.

I’m not running it no, I’d seen others talk about it.

I’m not “undermining” anyone…no more than you are undermining people by disagreeing with them…..I am allowed to have an opinion different to yours.

I make no assumptions, thats kind of the point, you do by stating one build is categorically better than another. It may not be optimal for you, which is fine, but it may well be better for someone else. Playstyle>theorycrafting in almost every situation.

Oh and at the risk of getting moderated again……I assumed you are reporting my posts in as you put it “an immature” way thats why any post even with a totally reasonable tone gets deleted.

Anyway, lets just agree to disagree and leave it there.

How do I recognize a successful player?

in Players Helping Players

Posted by: Cameirus.8407

Cameirus.8407

PvP – generally titles

PvE – it’s a crapshoot really. But the one thing I look for is achievement points since that’s the closest thing. If I see a lvl 80 with 3000 achievement points vs. one with 800 points, I’ll take the former. If you can’t see that, then armor set.

If the guy has a full Arah set, he’s good (Arah is the ‘hardest’ dungeon)

achv points is basically time played…not a level of skill.

Most likely because that would mean a permanent way to skip one of the money-sinks in the game.

more likely the “limited time” is to incentivise people buying now and not buying later, and possibly buying more than they may normally have done because the item is going.

Not that I expect these to go away permenantly, I expect they’ll add an axe next, and then later on I expect another pick with a new effect will appear…and the cycle will begin anew.

Which I’m fine with.

I realise my opinion might not be popular in this thread but hey.

I would really like to thank Anet for adding a solo option to this story, many people, me included missed out on the Molten Facility because it was not soloable.
The fact that they listened to us and responded so quickly makes me very happy.

As for the encounter itself- it is easier on some classes than others- my Engi had a horrible time and died 3 times because she was being tossed around like a ragdoll and I could never get his health down pass the last 3rd.

On my mesmer it took me 3 minutes.

I am very glad to hear that we will also have a solo finish to the story.
Actually I enjoyed all the SouthSun content very much

Solo options are great. I’d like stuff like Rift chronicles. But there they are to let solo players see otherwise group content. Not as the main content themselves.

I think the dev who did this did well, but overall from an Anet point of view the scope of this content is not good. it needs ot be bigger, bolder and more engaging, and if that takes longer to get out….fine.

Give the devs the resources and time they need to put out the content quality we know they can produce.

Oh! More quotes:

“If you’re good at something, never do it for free” – The Joker

Why can’t we enjoy hard content and still be rewarded for it? If I want to do something just to feel good about doing it, I’d go help homeless people and orphans all day. Instead, I prefer to play video games, have fun playing them, and get to show off (with armor or weapons) to other people that also play.

Pretty much no one cares about your armour and weapons other than you btw. Sorry to break that to you.

And I can understand that people want rewards, I just dont understand people saying “I wont do something unless I am rewarded”. for me the actual game is the reward, the fun I have doing the activity. Any shinies are a bonus ontop but not the reason I do it.

Why go for “optimal” if the “guide” is for new players……you go for optimal when content it challenging….which takes time to get to.

you dont ask people to become experts at the start. you lead them in with incremental learning and step by step progress.

Jumping in at the deep end before you can swim leads to people drowning, not magically learning to swim on the spot. But thats what you seam to expect….

The simple fact remains that you dont have to use a hammer to be effective, or a GS. if you want to run Scepter/focus, it can work well, and will suit some people’s playstyle.

You seam to be falling into what I consider a fallacy of thinking theorycrafting optimal builds translates into actual gameplay performance. It does not, esp in a game like GW2 where you have no metric to work out actual dps, dmg done, healing, or anythign else, and where reactions and dodges are important and cant be modelled.

You think a player may be better in a hammer build, they may not. Dont assume scepter focus is suboptimal for everyone.

I agree with alot of what the other points of the OP were. But having pre-conceived notions of what a correct build is, is just counter productive to my mind, you are prejuding playing performance on your own preconceived notions, which may nto be correct, no matter what you think.

well if siegewars is boring why dont we all pvd
thats called defence – andmakes everything interesting for the attackers – only if its too hard then its boring

no, seigewars is more boring than pvd.
At least pvd was quicker so you could get back to fun stuff, like fighting enemy players.

Right now, if you want to cap a seiged up tower, its a long boring process of holding down 1 for a few secs to fire your catapult….. thats in no way fun or interesting.

Not that PvD and quickcapping towers was good, but at least it was not quite so mindnumbingly boring. Ok longer sieges are “more realistic”, but I dont care about that I care about game experience and seigewars is boring.

Are you having fun? if yes, who cares about the reward.
If no, then leave as why play a game you dont find fun.

If you only run content if it rewards you, then you are not really enjoying it. So why bother at all?

Why oh why is this “argument” coming up in every topic I seem to read?
Let me get this one straight. Just because people complain, doesn’t mean they don’t have fun. It actually means that they care. They express criticism and point out flaws. These flaws might just be true for a small part of the community, but that doesn’t make their opinion wrong, and neither does the flaw cease to exist.
I too love this game. I love the lore and the world and the books. But it has flaws. Be it the non-existent difficulty, the RNG issues or the grind required to obtain certain items (yes legendaries, I am looking at you).

People enjoy different parts about games. Most like to win. A lot like to try and get better and improve. Lots of people play to relax. Others are achievement hunters. And then there are those who like to be rewarded for completing difficult content, or content at all. The latter are probably those that like to win and / or improve, since winning in a PvE environment isn’t really… possible.

So if certain aspects are missing in the game, the affected part of the community will raise their voices in concern, pointing out a possible flaw, which might lead to improvements. That’s a good thing. And it should by no means be answered with “just quit if you don’t like it”. That’s ignorance.

It was not an if you dont like it quit post.

It was pointing out that content shoudl be fun in and of itself. If you need rewards to run it, then why run it at all? since you are effectively needing an incentive to bother?

Thoughts on the recent "Future of WvW" blog post

in WvW

Posted by: Cameirus.8407

Cameirus.8407

THey cant fix WvWvW.

The problems stem from one simple issue. The map size to player number ratio is too small.

It allows one uberblob to travel the map and take objectives and still defend too.
If it was much bigger, smaller groups could hit 4-5 objectives at once and force the blobs to break up as they could not chain cap fast enough to keep up.

Unfortunatly thats not the case, oneblob can cross a map fast enough to control it most of the time. So people blob. So seige has to be op to allow defense, which causes seigewars…which is boring.

I agree with the OP. For players like him, there’s not enough challenging content. As a result of that, he should go find a game with more challenging content. Guild Wars 2 has no sub and if something really challenging comes out, he can come back, finish it in 5.2 minutes, and be on his merry way again.

Some people CRAVE challenge in a game. Some people have enough challenge in life and crave different things in games. Watching this game develop, I was sure it was targeted at a more casual audience, and that’s fine by me.

I do hope, OP, that you find a game that’s more challenging to you. My son, however, played Neverwinter for a couple of weeks and he’s already done with it. And he plays much like you do.

I think for me, it’s not so much the lack of new (or any?) challenges in this game, it’s that there’s no reward matching the challenges that already exist. I can’t even be bothered to do the practice and work necessary to get up to fractal 48, because the reward is so low compared to just logging in and completing whatever boring achievements are in new in the temporary content, then walking around and doing daily bosses. As far as dungeons I’m still working on getting to what I feel is a “master” level on all paths, but the only reward for reaching that level of competency and skill is a self-generated one. The PvE game simply doesn’t reward you for being good.

Why care about rewards?

Are you having fun? if yes, who cares about the reward.
If no, then leave as why play a game you dont find fun.

If you only run content if it rewards you, then you are not really enjoying it. So why bother at all?

The problem, is that I can think the reward it fine, but you think it too low. Its a subjective thing and Anet will never keep everyone happy. The only metric that matters is your own, and as you have said you cant work at attaining a level you consider acceptable.

Also, no company will design content for the 1%(or the self appointed 1% who are vocal onforums). its not good business sense. Its not a proportional allocation of resources. they can afford to lose you. They cant afford to lose the 99% who dont care about hardcore content.

Then break out of the “trinity” you mention, try a “sub optimal” class or build. Take satisfaction that you can beat FotM with a supposedly sub par spec.

Or realise that any pve scripted encounter, be it Raids in WoW, open world events in Rift, or Fractals in GW2 is inherrently easy in execution for an experienced gamer. YOu can only move out of stuff in some many ways before its all the same….in games liek wow or Rift or Swtor, the “challenge” is only there because of teired gearing, its not actually harder each time, its just you lack the necessary stats to do it at first.

Thats why most MMO players graduate to PvP as its the only way to really have new encounters. Or just leave.

I’ll go ahead and state my opinion on PvP again, since it doesn’t look like you read any further into the thread aside from the first post.

I don’t enjoy PvP. I’ve seen plenty of people playing in some form of PvP throughout my time as a gamer that would have done much better if they let basic AI play for them. Even people matched up at my “skill level” by the games ranking system.

I read it, and my point stands.
Its irrelevant if you like pvp or not. The simple fact is that pve content will always be easy to gamers have been doing it for a while.

If you’ve been playing MMOs for a while, you will know the basic boss mechanics that can be used, and you’ll only ever see variations on a theme, so you’ll find it easy, And you have how many hours logged? how much experience? that makes new stuff pretty easy for you to pick up. But they cant design it for you…they have to assume that people who have not been aroudn for long will want to have a reasonable chance at sucess as due to churn MMOs need to get new players in constantly.

The only 2 ways you’ll get the content you want (ie, harder and constantly changing), is either in PvP (and yes plenty of players there are not good), or in player generated content which GW2 does not support.

More updates than MMOs with Subs?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Cameirus.8407

Cameirus.8407

Most of the updates were definitely pointless. Blizzard had countless updates and tweaks to the game every day. But, WoW also had about 4 times the content that Guild Wars 2 has at the moment, so I found myself happy with the amount of content I could complete until an expansion came out. In other words, I didn’t need the constant updates that GW2 has to do constantly when I was playing WoW. So GW2 has a lot more updates than WoW, but WoW’s updates were better, with less bugs.

The Bugs I;ll grant you, Anet sertiously need to invest in quality control.
But the quality? no. WoW updates were few and far between with massively subpar quality and they were usualy pretty buggy to.
If you want a standard of updates to aspire to, look at Rift in the first 18months (not so much lately unfortunatly), quality and quantity both.

I’m quite happy with the amount of updates in GW2, but I wish more of it was permanent.

We’ve been playing around so far this year with a lot of different concepts to see what works for a living world game, and see what players liked and didn’t like.

news for you, your living story content does nto work, its not exciting, its not epic, its trivial and no one really cares about it.
You have a game with so much potential but its being wasted, you could be driving an epic narrative with truely awesome events that change the world over time to build a fantasy storyline that comes alive in a game in a tangible way….instead we get the equivalent of a throwaway holiday book thats feels like the author just churned it out to keep the numbers up….

Please start thinking BIG and not in such a small way.

Elitism is ruining this game

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Cameirus.8407

Cameirus.8407

As the title says, being an elitist has completely destroyed this game for me. My inner elitist drove me to learn strategies for each dungeon and boss, execute them flawlessly, become the self-declared best Guardian in Guild Wars 2, and create top-of-the-food chain-guides for Warrior and Ranger. After accomplishing feats like killing Lupicus in 46 seconds with my super group of guildies and clearing Arah path 4 in 30 minutes, I’ve realized something that really took me all too long: Guild Wars 2 is a casual’s game, and that isn’t going to change.

The last few patches have brought nothing but temporary content that has taken me no longer than a few hours to complete at most, and very little changes to dungeons, if any at all. Fractals are in a state of chaos and the only people that have motivation to do them are people that enjoy harming themselves or people caught in an infinite loop of grinding for a weapon skin that will most likely never drop for them. I cannot keep myself entertained with a game that offers no new challenge, and the little challenges that did exist were destroyed after discovering the trinity of Warrior, Guardian, and Mesmer. I can understand that someone with no desire to master dungeon content or someone that only wants to log on and do dailies would have trouble with this game, but Guild Wars 2 simply offers nothing for the hardcore player, and I don’t think that I’m alone in thinking this.

People that play casually don’t really bother me, they can do what they want and that’s fine. If the idea of Guild Wars 2 is to produce temporary content for someone to log on and see once a month and buy some minis from the gem store, then I don’t have a problem with that either; I just don’t feel I can be a part of it any longer. I’m quite disappointed, because I had fun playing this game for several months, whether it was hunting for Final Rest when it was hiding with Shadow Behemoth all along, or practicing Lupicus alone for hours so I could master his mechanics and teach them to other people. I’m not posting this thread to trash Anet or to make drama and cause people to quit the game, I’m posting it so people can read my thoughts on Guild Wars 2 and discuss them in hopes that maybe some day there will be some content that challenges hardcore players.

In closing, perhaps taking a casual approach to Guild Wars 2 is the best way to go about playing this game, but being an elitist and mastering the PvE content the game offers eradicated any sort of drive to continue playing a game that doesn’t seem to be targeted towards someone like me

Then break out of the “trinity” you mention, try a “sub optimal” class or build. Take satisfaction that you can beat FotM with a supposedly sub par spec.

They go and play other games, and this is bad for the economy of the game too,and Anet’s economy of course.Less people, less money. Bring something for us to do,except living stories and now a Festival? Leveling 100,200,300… more times at 80 is boring,is more boring even than grinding. only bad players put their faith in dps meters. Its a universal constant across MMOs.

Yeah they are nice to kitten with, but serve pretty much no practical use.

Things like log files for raids are useful, but 99% of players cant interpret them properly and in anycase no raids in GW2….

So, no dps meters, they mean nothing, and bad players think they do.

Had fun last night in ros bl, found some great fights, though i have to say seiging up the supply camp to treb inner bay and camping the choke point with a massive zerg was kind of lame, but we eventually managed to get your seige down with several suicide charges!

I may not like seige wars, but FR putting a line of trebs on outer bay wall looked pretty impressive!

We had to keep porting between bay and hills to try to defend both, though i think we would have lost them at one point…..if not for that timely server reset (honestly we had nothing to do with that, those cookies we sent anet are totally unconnected… :p).

Good night last night. Would be nice to see more guild groups running outside the FR blob, but there are a few who do and well done for that, some good fights all round.

Not really, its ok and all, but its nothing special.

I dont mind the reuse of models, as art takes a long time to produce, but the fight is pretty lame.

This is the issue with really fast content, its really shallow. I would not mind waiting longer for better content. I’ve yet to really be impressed by living story, it jsut seams to utterly trivial. Nothing makes me feel like its epic events my character is influencing, it all feels like an RP’ers nerdfest, refugees, holiday destinations….wtf? And here was me thinking we had elder dragons to fight….

i have close to 3200 hours, and i’ve had plenty of precursors drop. only problem is that the enemy zergs ran me over before i could get to the loot bag they were in.

at least that’s the lie i’m telling myself so that i don’t end up jumping out a frickin’ window.

I lost interest when he usually dies within 30 seconds of spawning.

yep.

Was fun in beta, but not so much anymore.

Fights are too static, Anet really does not do boss fights very well. Jormag is possibly the best right now. The boss in the reactor in mount maelstrom is good, fireelemental was good before it was nerfed. Fire shaman is ok.

But most (and shattered and tequatl are prime examples) are boring and involve no real need to follow tactics, and lost (SB, Maw, Worm….) are just 30sec nukefests……yawn.

I wish we had big DEs more like Rift, especially volan, that fight is epic.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXmyo_1SkX4

Much as GW2 has some really nice features, the DEs are great at a local level, but never manage to feel epic.

The early zone events in Rift were amazing. GW2 Dynamic events are pretty lame in comparison.

I think GW2 does small scale dymanic events really well, much better than Rift which relies on traditional questing.

However, Rift blows GW2 out of the water with its large scale events, as you say some of the low level ones are great, I remember first time I played through battle for freemarch in the beta, it was awesome, the sky darkens, rifts open up everywhere, planer mobs pour forth and giant collossi stalk the land….the whole zone gets involved to beat back the invaders…

Whereas in GW2 when the shatterer turns up, people stack in one spot, put on auto attack and go get a drink, come back 3 mins later and pick up loot….

We can’t have inspecting because:

  • elitism
  • mf leechers would get kicked a lot
  • healing shouts condition damage warriors want to party too
  • as well as other people with worthless creative gear/build combinations
  • more elitism
  • because no
  • skill > gear/build (I’m not being carried if I think I’m awesome)
  • “The reason it shouldn’t be in the game is the same reason countries have gun laws.”
  • it destroys “play however you like” philosophy
  • and last but the most important: ELITISM!!!oneonelevensin(90)

A billion times this! Thank you.

I have the krytan set from teh gemstore, the “hobosack” looks great on it. fully fits the theme, I like it.

Regardless, it should still have a toggle to show it or not.

@ the rest, we don’t need anything to indicate what kit we’re in. All that is is catering to the bad players, if they can’t recognize what kit we’re currently using, that’s on them, not on us.

guardians cant choose to show aegis or not. its a tell that shows your weapon set.

Just the way it it. I personally like it, and dont see why it shoudl be turned off, and can see issues with it being optional, not least of which is I want Anet concentrating all their resources on fixing actually important issues.

You have no business checking out what gear i wear if im not willing to tell you this myself.I dont like people copying styles from other people, nor do i like people copying builds from other people.

Did you even read the whole thread, or just the first few, we just decided that a better option is to give players the option to let other players see their gear. Therefore you wouldn’t have to. And just because you don’t like people copying builds, doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. This happens all the time anyway.

if that options there then people will request its turned on. and so it will be default become the norm. this option should never be put in games.

+1 for an inspect button — but for traits as well as gear.

If you’re worried that you won’t get on a team because people will think you suck — then don’t suck so bad

If I’m going to invest 2hrs of my evening into a challenging dungeon/instance/(fill in the blank), shouldn’t I be able to flush out my team with players that won’t waste my time? If I want to play “my way” and that’s bringing a specific team/build combination, then I should be able to do that with confidence. (Note that “confidence” means more than simply going on somebody’s word).

then before you join my group I want you to record a vid of you moving out of fire or the equivalent on every fight in the instance and write an essay on the tactics. As gear/spec matter nothing at all compared to player skill and an inspect button shows you nothing about that.

If you want to be elitist (and misguided at that) then just ask people for their gear/spec. If you wont take someone’s word, that says more about your insecurities than it does their gear/spec.

This isn’t a discussion about inspecting “player skill” — although if there was any easy and accurate metric for it, that would be pretty awesome don’t you think?

It’s a discussion about builds and finding the players that fit a specific role on your team. GW2 is very forgiving for team roles right now because all you need is DPS. However if that were to change, then teams may need a very specific build from each player on the team.

A build is defined as a players gear (all of it), trait selection, and slot skills. Slot skills are not a problem because you can change them on the fly. That leaves gear and traits.

If you don’t want to join a team that requires players to fulfill a very specific roles than find a vanilla PuG and have fun elsewhere. However it can be very satisfying to get into a well organized team, play a specific role, and play it well.

you want to know what a player is playing? ask them.

But I’m fed up with mediocre players thinking they know everything, judging players by their usually misguided views on what is a “correct” build/gear set, and then themselves failing hard at every tactic in an instance and blaming the other players.

Inspect encourages standard builds to conform. and thats not good, esp in a game like this where player skill >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>gear/build.

What Guild Wars 2 needs is a button, in the menu when you right-click a player’s portrait, that lets you preview all of a player’s gear on yourself. This would allow people to see what set of armor someone is wearing, but also, what accessories and amulets/rings they are using. Although some people would argue that this takes away a layer of communication between players, where people ask what each other are using, I have found that a lot of the time players either ignore people that ask them what their gear is, or they say that they don’t want to show them what it is.

its non of your business what gear I am running.
If you ask, I’ll probably tell you, but thats my choice.

Hope we never get an inspect feature.

There is a gap between words and actions. It seems that the FIRE is fearing our storm. You got a big group, we got a guild group, you flee …. ok very nice, but don’t say we’re the runners

…I didn’t see any fleeing on this vid?

Oh we did leave, we had gone to hills to help the commander on the map, the gates closed as we arrived and we noticed several FR guilds stacked on the walls and inside the keep who massively outnumbered us.
As we had no chance of taking keep at that point as the commander had wiped and the gates were back up, we decided not to fight the uberzerg and give free loot bags. Especially as FR seam to immediatly stack up multiple ACs in every fight no matter if they already outnumber their opponents.

We’re more than happy to fight, but not against odds that large outside a keep where the Acs would pretty soon be up and runnning.

@ Enis
As for us being afraid? ha, anytime you want to GvG you let us know. And as for you being the “only ones in the keep”, I cant help but notice that commander icon and many players on your mini-map…..they tell a different story.
Oh and I’m not sure what you mean by “big group”…how many do you think we are? We dont run with a tag most of the time to try to keep it a guild group.

We found some good fights last night eventually, some we won, some we lost. But it took a while for us to find anything other than massive skill lag inducing blobs. I’m not complaining about blobs, play however you want, but dont expect people to blindly stand there and give you free loot bags, thats just pointless.

I personally miss the ROS-DZ-GH match up, at least it was much easier to find small to medium scale fights, and the tendancy of those servers to jump in towers and mass build ACs seamed less.
