Since there very likely to be plenty of warriors, guardian. Guardians can outdamage warriors, but only after receiving the benefits of being in a group with lots of boons flying around. Warriors however become redundant once you have enough to cover everyone.

I saw an “experiment” video on The Guardian website not long back, where a woman propositioned men in the way men have oftentimes spoken to women. A lot of men were simply bemused; thought she’d lost her marbles and asked if she was feeling well. One guy took her up on her offer. A lot were quite confused as she shouted certain things from the van she was driving past them.
The only, yet major, difference was the men didn’t appear to feel threatened by the woman in any way.
Make of that what you will.
As I have no direct experience, the guy asking for a girl from Sweden is currently lying in the odd category.

I don’t get why everyone is so butt-frustrated about Trahearne being the spotlight guy in the personal story. I found it refreshingly realistic that the player character does not, for once, become the greatest hero of the world.
Honestly you still are, you’re showered with a lot more praise the people claim. Hell I imagine you become the object of a few Norn wet dreams after that.
Anyways, the real issue with Trahearne is
1. He gets the focus at a horrible time, that being just after your mentor dies. For most, they had managed to grow attached to their mentors quickly because of just how charming and well developed they were. Players don’t WANT a new character, they WANT their mentor (and friend) back.
2. Unless you are Sylvari is he shoe horned into your story with very little background info. Even with Sylvari players he leaves a lot to be desired.
3. The biggest one, he is absolutely a victim of rushed writing. He has no development, he shows no qualities of being a leader and as a result the leaders of the 3 orders honestly come off as extremely incompetent for following him. I don’t know about you guys, but that’s great if you are an expert in a certain field and thus I should listen to your advice, that does NOT mean you are qualified to lead an army. For all intents and purposes, he is leader in name only.

The teasers are about to begin. I expect the following:
- Starting this week, small in-game changes will give tiny hints to what may come. (For example, conversations between NPCs in Lion’s Arch and Labyrinthine Cliffs.)
- Every week, a few small things change in the world, without announcement. (For example, small changes in the landscape of certain zones where things will happen, to prepare for big events.)
- The gemstore may start carrying a few new items that have some connection to the new story. (Maybe the Lawless armor pieces have some meaning already?)
- An actual teaser movie on the gw2.com website may appear no earlier than 1 week before July 1st.
In short: be patient!

Even before the patch, Queensdale was absolutely inferior to Edge of the Mist farm in every possible way. Not only do you get mats, gold etc you also got wvw ranks which in turned results in various goodies including the chance at ascended gear boxes.
I honestly have no idea why people wasted their time in queensdale when they could just hop in edge.
Not that i ever did the Queensdale train, but personally i just refuse to enter any PvP area anymore after Aion. And i think there are a lot more people that just don’t want to get ganked anywhere no matter how good the farm may be.

I’m not even certain why he was buffed to begin with, it was a perfectly fine boss event until he got the god overbuff. Now hes pretty much pointless to try and kill, and more and more people are resolving to not even attempt the event anymore. Somehow I don’t think that’s what you guys had in mind when you have him that overbuff. He does massive damage (which is alright) but takes pretty much no damage from anything. The damage this guy takes needs to be increased by a substantial amount.

It’s honestly not the “casuals” (I honestly hate that word). It’s the people who don’t want to learn and adapt.
Hell if those people actually learned, TTS would not even be a thing, or at least not be as big as it is. Some of these PUGs do exist in fact, but not enough.

I fully support Teq style revamps of other dragons. If not, then Marionette difficulty is fine also.

Teq is stupid easy. Has been ever since I’ve been on runs. He’s even easier now that the megalaser actually fires and deals damage. The fact the megalaser fires now means the risk of bugging teq is even higher, so much so I’m considering suggesting some alternative setups at runs.
Honestly, I had forgotten the cannon was meant to do damage myself XD

It’s pretty shabby how Charr get so abused on armor/costume design. :\
Asura get it bad at times also, for example toe clipping. Charr however tends to be the most obvious.

Ascended armor is only worth it if you fall into one of the following catagories:
1. The type of person who feels they absolutely MUST have best in slot, even if it is an insignificant boost when compared to the effort involved, in order to remain “competitive” in PVE/WvW
2. You run fractals at a high level (think 40-50)
3. You like the look of ascended gear or simply wish to complete your wardrobe and thus wish to use it for the looks, the stats just being a bonus.
4. You have absolutely nothing left to do, don’t plan to make any new characters and so on.
If you do not fall into either of those four groups, then Ascended gear is a complete waste of time and resources.

Charrs must be the bane of every graphic designer at Arenanet
I wouldn’t be surprised if they spend less time on charr versions because they know it’s one of the least popular race, especially female charrs
I’d argue it’s one of the least popular BECAUSE of the artists put so little effort in making outfits/armor look good on Charr.
Outfits/armor on charr are so flawed it’s down right embarrassing.
Hell, even the cultural T3 Light Charr armor clips with the tail. There is no excuse for that at all.

all the retcon bullkitten after GW1 making charr into decent guys and kryta abandoning lion’s arch obviously precludes this plotline from ever happening, but any GW1 veteran who remembers the glory of ascalon would jump at the chance. this would be a kitten fight full of nostalgia and glory. hell yeah the humans of kryta should fight for ascalon, it would a fascinating plotline compared to fighting faceless forces of nature (dragons).
As a guild wars 1 vet, from a logical perspective, another war waged by humans would be utter suicide for their species. If Jennah tried to overtake anything she would face the combined might of the charr, asura and norn (maybe sylvari, but likely not). Not to mention the orders. The only human led order quite likes the way things are right now and the large and powerful Vigil is led by a Charr.
Divinity’s Reach would lose, hard.
As for the glory of Ascalon, the only half-decent royalty was Rurik. Adelbern was an idiot from the get go. Ascalon was doomed largely because of it’s “glorious” king. The fool doomed his entire kingdom to an eternity of suffering just for a hollow “victory”.
Nothing about the charr was retcon, you seem to be confusing a retcon with being given more details about a species.
Really if we’re gonna toss out crap about rightful owners of Ascalon, it sure as hell aren’t the humans OR charr.

Possibly, although other then the extra fur that hangs down, aren’t the tails fairly similar?
Can females get the same treatment as males please? The dragon on the tail is probably the best idea since launch for charr armor………..and you choose that of all things to not make unisex, hell I’d forgive the female tail clipping with the coat if it was added.

It would be helpful to provide a screen shot of non-grim dark colors, as it would make the details stand out more and thus make the bug easier to see, although I think I sort of see it.
Thief is not Assassin; it’s just a baby version of it. Anet hasn’t given it the things it needs to Evolve into it’s final form.
Why, cause it doesn’t have perma shadow form that makes it uber tank? I think I’ll pass. Thief is everything that assassin is, and more.
yeah, now they can perma stealth instead. assassin was a much better class even on paper.

Honestly, I have no idea why I find humans so…..boring.
It’s like, I’ll get to 40 on a human mesmer………then suddenly go “why be a human when I can glow at night?” and next thing I know I have a level 80 sylvari mesmer.
It just makes me sad how bad certain armor sets look on non-humans, that I feel is a major contributing factor to the amount of human characters.
Thankfully though at least sylvari female tier 3 med laughs at anything a human can wear, but still.
