So, I love the rewards so far………………………..but not on my one character high enough to do them. I would love have it on my guardian or a future necro for example…….but as long as it is soul bound, that is simply not possible.

I never noticed a difference in range when fighting, but I suppose that’s because I was running melee. I expect that was to counter the spot on the ridge that made the fight a cakewalk.

From what I have heard, a great sword in reality is not actually anywhere near as heavy or difficult to swing as movies and video games would have us believe.
I don’t see why not ecanus, over all the playable races seem very open minded when it comes to relationships. Granted, it is never really touched upon except for the sylvari.

But he’s right. Dungeons doesn’t drop nothing more than trash. They are supposed to be THE place where you can pray to loot an exotic, and not with a 0.00000000000000001% chance like from world mobs for sure.
I’d rather get tokens meaning I know exactly how many runs I have to do instead of doing possibly hundreds for exotic stuff I likely won’t even be able to use.
Also dungeons are hardly dead, I see people recruiting for them all the time in LA on my server.
Story mode dungeons however, that’s another story.
I am on the fence about these events. I really don’t know how I feel about my “fake world” emulating my “real world”.
Is it cool? I guess it is. But at the same time it’s also just so cookie-cutterish. The added content is nice, sure. But I can get this same thing in every MMO- … wait. Nope. Not every MMO. EVE Online never pulled this trick. Interesting…
Yeah. It’s a bit “lame” to just throw in a real world holiday. I’m grateful for the added content. I just wish it were original.
I’m assuming you never played GW1 and experienced GW1 festivals? Halloween and Wintersday (Christmas) have always been a big deal in GW1 and even have their own lore that blends them into GW1 (albeit Halloween is better blended in my opinion and the lore is more interesting).
Also, I don’t want to sound rude, but there are so many “invasions” of reality in GW2’s world and even GW1’s world that it kind of shocks me that one would complain about Halloween.
Trust me, if the GW2 festivals are anything like GW1, you’ll get over it and have a blast.
1. I see no mention of festival hats……while I know there will be costumes in the TP, GW1 had both free masks and eventually cash shop costumes. Please tell me this tradition will continue?
2. On the subject of costumes……the way the note about the costume brawl reads seems to imply we will need to purchase things to participate………..please don’t tell me this is the case and I am simply misreading.
I personally suggest using a GS and Hammer. They both benefit from the same 20% reduction skill and both have forms of control and support. Both are also fairly mobile, the major difference being hammer is probably better for single tough enemies while GS is your go to AoE. Once you get used to swapping between them on the go, you can also toss out of some fairly nice good combos.
Speaking of this skill, is the tool tip incorrect? It says target location yet it always placed on top of me. Am I missing something or does it assume you have the trait?
Random question regarding blinds, how does blind interact with non-target things such as barrage in PVE and PVP. Does blinding the source still cause them to miss?
Oh and I should add, it has been stated we will see more weapons in the future for each class. So it is very possible and likely Guardians will get another ranged weapon.
Range has actually been a fairly large complaint from guardian players since the bwes. In fact it is why scepter has the range it does now although the scepter pretty boring in my opinion still……….as for Guardians having specifically a nuke…….no, I can not see it. Guardians excel at kitten near everything except range at the moment.
Also, you can’t compare Guardian and Warrior honestly. Guardians just bring so much more to the table already while warriors really just bring damage in comparison.
Now, that being said, I personally would to see the staff auto attack either changed or given a range increase. Or a spear, simply so I can get that Paragon feel in GW2, but a truly hard hitting ranged nuked? No, I can not see it.
