I’m not sure that applying blood in game like GW2 would affect rating of this game,
as it can be count among effects. Some enemies are turned into liquid on death, that
can be easily taken as blood.
With GW2 graphical style it would fit just fine, like strokes of the paint brush.
And you can’t miss when your hp drops low, screen gets red, drawing some
resemblance of bleeding.
Honestly it’s because while the rating system DOES do some good, it’s archaic but games are forced to abide by it.
Of course that also depends on how much blood we’re talking.
Only way I would enjoy a timed puzzle is if they made them soloable or party instances.
Meaning you can do them by your self or people in your party that you chose to be with.
I don’t want to be stuck behind 10 norns and 8 chars blocking my view on everything.
If I recall correctly the reason for that was bad info. The guy who made the clock tower made it under the belief that it WAS going to be a solo instance.
For some reason I find the idea of a Guardian dual wielding a bit odd……….not sure why I do really, it would be cool, but the image I have in my head is odd.
I want to say Tengu also, the structures remind of Cantha, but it has to be pointed out thgat all non-humans were essentially forced to leave Cantha. The Tengu were pretty well established there, so it’s not a stretch to assume the Dominion is dominated by Canthan Tengu.
As for why there seem to be no Tengu, it is possible what we see there is simply a entrance, and the crowd is the LA population exploring it due to it recently being opened. The Tengu could be watching from the shadows.
All speculation of course, we’ll see soon, and I can fully see it being Elonian also.
Honestly, as someone who loved the Halloween puzzle,Wintersday puzzle and adores SAB
I have to say this puzzle is poorly done, as someone said the reliance on gimmicky spring platforms and camera angles kills it, honestly this puzzle is very much sub par when you compare it to the many that are superior.
That being said I DO like the idea of hidden entrances (the wall holograms) and would have preferred more use of those over the spring pads.
I’m talking the entire puzzle btw, goggles included.
As has been said, if you are going to be a tanky Guardian leading the fight in WvW, be the tallest Norn you can. That way everyone can see where you are.
Also the Norn Elite Become the Snow Leopard can give you Stealth, which is not usually available to Guardians. It can be helpful if you need to scout/patrol/sentry in WvW.
Or high tail it away from a ninja zerg out of no where when you are solo flipping a camp.
Been in that situation more then once, I pop snow leopard, stealth, and use that ridiculously fast and long distance dash to get her out with the fur still neatly on her back.
Oh and I’d post a picture of my norn, but she’s, well, a she and I assume you only want screen shots of males……..although I always recommend female norn personally.
pro tip: You can use the golem pull to your advantage if you don’t have stability, it can actually pull you over the small beams
Also, on the subject of guardians, if you REQUIRE a guardian, rest assured you are likely the type of player that kitten off us Guardians and waste our time.
I wanna say for PvE you could also get 30 into spite for the condition duration and Dhuumfire……but at the same time I’m not sure how many traits would actually be helpful.
Also since you are using staff I feel 10 into death magic for greater marks is a must.
Honestly I always assumed that after Jora rejected his power and then killed his first new champion Jormag holds a grudge against female norn and refuses to have them in his armies. I also assumed they were killed outright instead but it’s possible they’re kept imprisoned for another purpose (maybe used as slave workers?).
I find that unlikely. After all it was a male Norn who is said to have taken Jormag’s own tooth, while Jora only killed one of his champions. So if anything, Jormag should have a grudge against male Norn.
Why would Jormag have a grudge against male Norn just because they took 1 of his teeth? I would assume that killing one of his champions would hit him harder than losing a tooth.
While it’s true Jora killed one of his champions, it was a male norn who attacked him directly and taking the tooth of an elder dragon as a prize is not a small feet OR a small insult to Jormag.

GW2 is made by ppl who made GW1. In GW1 ranger was only class using bows. If GW player wants to play archer, he will roll ranger. Is it so kittening hard to understand?
It doesn’t matter what it means in lore. What matter is that, ranger is closest to archer archetype and it’s the only choice for ppl, like me, who always play bowman/archer/marksman/etc.
Thieves SB shooting funny spirals or warriors napalm launcher aren’t interesting options.
I feel I should point out any class could use a bow in GW1.
I went for a wraith/ghost like look for my necro, so I went for blue and white as I find that the typical colors (black, red, green) are horrendously over done. Her look is not yet complete, as she is not high enough for shoulder guards and I am considering moving my shatterer wings from my guardian to her.

I still do not see why the Inquest would want or need assistance from other races.
It even contradicts GW2’s original over-reaching story of the good guys cooperating and putting differences aside to work together, and the bad guys being opposed to such collaboration.
Keep in mind this also happened with the Flame Legion and Dredge

Right as you enter the fight with Trin, she says someone named Scarlet will have her head for this and that either way she dies. Since the living story so far has been building up to our nemesis, we can assume Scarlet is her name or at least someone very high up in her chain of command. More then likely, this is a result of the Pact’s victory over Zhaitan.
Don’t have easy access to stability? Have someone bring a shout guardian

a few seconds then its atleast 30 seconds of getting hooked and killed untill you can use stability again…
Funny, can’t say I ever got killed by the pull. Sounds like a player issue.

@Other people, nothing about this dungeon is impossible, challenging? Yes. It requires you to pay attention, the final boss AoE spam is a perfect example of this. You need a good group, not the HURDUR I BE ZERKER WARRIA #54534534 mentality that all the other dungeons favor. (note that zerker gear IS still viable for this)
Tip for that: Do NOT run around like headless chickens, stand still, move to safe spots that show up between the AoE circles.

She was mentioned by a dredge at the end of the flame and frost story. You had to visit them in the prison in the black citadel. You might still be able to infact.
Anyways all we know is that she is specified as a female and that she united the dredge and flame legion so she must either be VERY good at manipulating or very powerful for the flame legion to listen to her. Anything other then is speculation.
It clearly depicts a female follower of Jormag. Now, one could shrug this off as simply something they decided not to use and left in because it was cool…….but I have a different though.
What if Jormag feels that, after what happened with Jora and her brother, the female norn has the most potential?
Now as for why Jormag would keep this a secret from the sons, perhaps he wishes them to feel like the chosen ones? After all the Sons all appear to be extremely weak willed, so I imagine it would be a way of stroking their ego. Not only that, perhaps Jormag’s “daughters” as I’ll call them are his trump card and thus he wants to keep them secret?
Anet was pretty clear with thakittens going to be fixed since its bugged, the orb moves slower than planned, but they were also equally clear that they couldn’t promise us when.

I honestly am sort of expecting the Mursaat or at least White Mantle, they are currently the closes to a shadow group right now and we know absolutely nothing about their current activities other then controlling the bandit groups.
As for what group is next: I want to say…….nightmare court and krait maybe? Or Svanir and maybe Jotun. It’s already set that some Jotun do have interest in looking towards Jormag for power.
