As others said, I don’t see them releasing a new profession because even the current ones have plenty of bugs and balancing issues. A new race, on the other hand? I dunno, somehow I don’t like it when companies do that. Majority of the time they come as major asspulls. And considering that the Tengu are sealed away for a reason, I doubt they’re just gonna go “Oh look, a dragon! We should fight that kitten!”. They are ignoring Zhaitan, which brought together all the other races, after all.
If you talk to one of the tengu blacksmiths in the Epilogue of your personal story, he says something about telling his brothers and possibly inspiring them to reach out and do their part or something like that. Let me look it up.
Not only that, but one of the Tengu guarding the wall says they are deciding who they can trust, if the Pact uniting many races and achieving victory over Zhaitan is not enough to make the Tengu think twice I don’t know what will.

Not to be a negative nancy, but I’d rather not have them add a new profession to the game this early when they have yet to balance the current 8 (and I mean as much as possible, since a perfect balance is near impossible). A new playable race would be refreshing.
Tengu were planned to be a race on release if I recall correctly, but I believe the official story was they ran into some major technical issues with them and had to hold it back. It’s not hard to believe either really, of all the potential races they do have the most known/fleshed out lore. Four House for your character’s biography for example.
Ohh Kasmeer is indeed very mysterious.
And she has the defiant buff. There are just a few npcs that do, and all of them are pretty important (I mean, besides bosses).
The mystery of Kasmeer annoys me. When I read her story posted on the news with her meeting Kiel, she seemed elegant and intelligent, with an air of finesse. Even in her chats with Faren at the beach she sounded at least witty.
Then, in the bar with Marjory, she appears and acts like a 16-year-old girl who just saw Justin Bieber at a concert. What? Is she bi-polar?

My friend, you’ve been missing out on something very essential for this game. The PvP locker allows you to preview all armor/weapons availible in-game. Meaning you can mix/match gear to see how they would look without having to google for game tags.
First thing I do when something new gets released is to go straight to the PvP locker and start seeing if it looks cool with other stuff.
Wow I didn’t know about that either. I’m glad you shared that so I can take a look. Now if I could only find this mysterious land called PvP.
Keep in mind however a lot of sets have different names for their PVP versions, and some PvP armor pieces do not even exist in PvE. However that is a very small amount.
Just a thought: With the new info that Elder Dragons are essentially magic sponges, could that mean the dragons going into hibernation are simply the result of each cycle simply thinking they had killed them?
Perhaps the only way to truly kill a elder dragon is to somehow remove the magic from a dragon’s body itself? “Cleansing” it perhaps?
IIRC, the first cycle only managed to put them to sleep, and they knew it. i imagined the dragons eventually might get saciated (at the cost of every living thing ever) and go back to sleep, like a milenar ciesta.

Ah right, I forgot about that detail, still I feel it is possible that the key to truly killing a dragon is by somehow removing the magic in it’s body……….now the potential issues of removing a possible “reset button” as you said is another matter entirely.

Honestly it’s probably because I have played a norn for……….what…8 months now, but I find it much harder to do JPs on anything smaller then a max height female norn now.

I fully believe they are spreading misinformation on purpose. A “red herring” or “goose chase” if you will. It’s obvious there is more to them then they let on.
One merchant for example says they have been warned about you. By who exactly, and why?
I kind of think they plan to resurrect Glint in some form, but that’s my own personal and probably flawed theory.

Most of content in the Bazaar of Winds is based on JPs: goggle dive achievement, sky crystals achievements, Kite Achievements plus the Sky Prites JP and the dungeon based on jumping of boxes in the laser room from the previous living story.

I think they should have an achievement for most damage taken from a fall…. (call it OUCH!)
Keep in mind if try it in WvW and someone had attacked you and you are in combat before you jump, you’ll still die. This does not however apply to PVE for obvious reasons.
I’m pretty sure the buggy/laggy mechanics are preventing those who are not local to the servers from doing well in this race.
Is it fair they get a handicap and never able to obtain the one time only achievement just because you’re “competing” for a reward you already have? Preventing any one else from getting it once you have it is simply being mean. There is no reason to come first after you got it the first time.
I’m not competing for a reward, I’m competing for fun. This is a game, and I would like it to be played fairly so I can have fun. I actually like the race, but when people cheat like this it really hurts us all.
The only one it seems to hurt is you. Tell me what is the difference between reaching the end first and crossing the finish line and reaching the end first and waiting. There is no difference except an ego one. So is that all it is? You needing an ego boost to have your name on top?
I’ve finished first by actually winning, but I had to switch to cable over wifi to do so. The game has to many lag issues and bad skill behaviour to make it a fair race to begin with. I’ve even gone over the side a few times only to fall on air meaning I had to jump myself further down manually.
The reason I want to play fairly and work to win is because of the same reason I like to win a games like Mario Kart, because it’s fun!
Since when is it more important for people to get an achievement than to have fun and play fairly?

Every time I have done it, those of us who already have the title and top 3 achievement have stopped just before the finished line and let those in 4th, 5th and 6th pass us. We’re just there for the fun of it + plus the chance at catcher skins at this point as rewards do not scale with placement.
If this mini-game works like the other mini-games before it, it doesn’t matter which server you’re on. You enter an instance that doesn’t “belong” to any server (similar to overflows and dungeons).
And please don’t assume that the OP “is just bad” – many of us have massive problems controling the jump skills due to sudden skill lag, as seen here:
I’m not complaining about getting free stuff. It sucks though that my achievement points are being wasted on stuff I will never use. You can’t get the rewards back, so seems like a complete waste and doesn’t seem like much of a ‘reward’.

I don’t sPVP. But you know what? I appreciate getting free skins that I would not have in PVP otherwise in case I ever do decide to sPVP.

So the Bazaar Ambassador counts each big kite individually? Woohoo, I’ll be skipping the one in Obsidian Sanctum then! I die there often enough on my own, without other players trying to kill me!
Yeah, each kite is counted individually for the main meta achievement. Only Learn to Kite requires them all.
As others have said, the skin itself is soul bound, but you can create more copies on other characters. What this also means is you can create a PVP copy without fear of losing the chance of a PVE copy.
A little off topic but, does everyone need this to get the meta reward? Like, does the meta count individual kites or do you need the Learn to Kite in its entirety to count?
For the learn to kite achievement, yes I believe you need all of them. Although all it gives you is 15 achievement points and nothing else. However, each kite itself gives an individual achievement.

As for the meta, sorry that one I did forgot. I tend not to pay attention to meta achievements that don’t give a skin and such. That being said, even you agree that is is still a insignificant amount. As for someone who who is doing it just for completion’s sake, well then they should be prepared for any challenges that requires. Should we make every achievements easier just for someone who wants to complete them for the sake of completing?
Now as for your build, I am curious as to what you are using in PVE that does not work in WvW. I myself using a AH/EM build in both PVE and WvW, it’s certainly not the best build for WvW but I have had absolutely zero trouble using it there.
I fully agree with goldenboy’s suggestion. It seems items like this and the journal will be a given for living story content, so it would be nice to have a section for them.

Unfortunately, in this case, it kind of is true. An achievement isn’t really an achievement unless it takes some actual effort to accomplish, something modern games are extremely guilty of.
Effort I can understand. But you’re asking people in PvE gearing/traiting to possibly get entirely new gearing and traiting just to get a single kite. Oh, and fight people with much more experience than they do in that setting. That’s a little ridiculous.
And calling valid complaints ‘QQ’ is just plain insulting. No ifs, ands, or buts there. This, again, comes down to politeness. We won’t demean your gaming preferences and you should not demean ours.
Most PVE gear (unless you’re in full zerker, which tbh even then can still work) works perfectly fine in WvW, as do most trait set ups. So no, you are not being asked to completely change your character. As for your opponent, again an achievement is not really an achievement without difficulty. Want a much easier achievement? You have plenty of options
As for your complaint……no, I’m sorry but it is not valid. Once again I go back to achievements not really being achievements without difficulty attached to them, not only that but it is ONE worth a measly 5 points and is not required for either of the two meta achievements. So yes, I will agree with it being “QQ”. Quite simply, the truth is not always polite.

The first chest was the one for 100 points. The second chest was the one for 500 points. Tomorrow you will get the chest for 1.000 points, with the weapon skin.
While I don’t agree with you often……..I will say I can always trust you to say what I do agree with almost exactly how I am thinking.
