Anyone who has worked in customer support will tell you this is almost always wrong.

I kind of wonder if Anet would be ok with a mod removing that sound or not.

It should be pointed out that even with those “crappy health numbers” a Guardian that is actually played well will survive far longer and easier then every other class while providing some of the best support any class has to offer and also still pumping out respectable damage.

Giving them health on par with a warrior for example would render both the Guardian OP as hell and also risk rendering Warriors near worthless.

I really don’t mind the animation that much, dislike it, but I can live with it…….but…….that horrid voice when attacking…….just….why? It is honestly the only reason I absolutely refuse to make a female human guardian.

I’ve played Guardian since the very first closed Betaweekend and the class isnt as viable as it used to be… Guardian became Anets punchingbag everytime they wanted to nerf something, and the class went from being pretty powerful to completely useless. I still try to make it work, but lets face it, every profession in the game outshines the Guardian atm (even rangers, yuck)

With the way the shield for guardian functions, it kind of shocks me that there is no ranged spear option like the Paragon especially since the Guardian is obviously a monk / paragon hybrid.

I lost 25 deadly blooms and my dungeon completion rewards myself.

I’d like to point out that I recall even willing sylvari are tortured.

The nighmare court is not something one simply says “Yeah, sign me up!” and gets away pain free.

Sorry, but the nightmare court really has no grounds for sympathy based one what we know of them. Especially when the nightmare court threatens the very way of life that most sylvari choose on both a physical level AND spiritual level, and have shown all the time that they are willing to go to horrible extremes to further their goal.

You could be fooled into thinking a Charr is a Sylvari and an ally as long as they put a leaf on their head and said: “I’m considering joining the Nightmare court!”

I’ll be honest, my impression of the nightmare court is they are idiots with horrendously weak minds and will.

All of the first 3 race tutorial bosses were harder in the beta really. I understand they felt the need to nerf them. but I do feel they went a bit far.

I honestly saw it as an accomplishment when I avoided death by the wurm for the enitre fight on my BWE norn guardian.

The Sylvari are what Ivy’s special dreams are about.

I personally still find it odd that mace has that AoE damage negation skill, yet shield has nothing like it.

If that is a canon character, then a norn thief most certainly makes sense.

I actually like the long bow.

Then again I’m a sylvari ranger, so I suppose it fits better then it would for other races.

I would also like guild upgrades to be cross server, as it is I am playing crystal desert but all the upgrades and most of my guild mates are on jade quarry. Despite guild joining being cross server, the upgrades are not. I can’t help but feel this is a fairly massive oversight.
