I am actually thinking that the “Low” servers probably have more people active on them. The ones that were full from the start are bloated with inactive accounts now. Whereas the ones with non-full populations are where new accounts are pouring into.
I’d love it if they made 3 new servers for active players to merge into, taking their guild upgrades with them. 4 servers worth of active players into 1 new server would be super busy and enjoyable again.
Really unnecessary to have such a massive, massive wall of text.
I play on Crystal Desert too and there’s loads of people everywhere, always people for events in every zone, lots of people in WvW. Maybe you’re just logging on at too bizarre times ?
I play on Crystal Desert too and there are not loads of people everywhere, rarely people for events in any zone, non-full WvW except for Friday nights.
Lion’s Arch is the only zone with lots of people in it, and that’s because of FotM, crafting, AFK, forging. For new players looking to play with others, all of the Lion’s arch people can be excluded.
Combined with heavy-handed moderation, a complete lack of communication and almost condescending approach to customer feedback.
The first page of this board has 7 locked topics. That is traditionally a punishment on forums. I get the feeling often that I can do no right on here.
Nearly every thread made is a question that only Anet can answer, yet almost none of them have the symbol showing Anet has responded.
It’s not like the questions are unreasonable. Most aren’t asking about secrets, just simple things that make sense of topics that confuse a lot of people.
Each time I see staff post in 1 or 2 topic but skip over the burning questions, I die a little inside. Whyyyy? Why do they pass over our questions? It’s important to have good communication with us, we will gladly spread the word. Please keep this in mind.
if you hit a note between songs it heals so you’re ready for the next round.
Since Branded are minions of Kralkratorrik, Destroyer are the minions of Primordus, Risen are the minions of Zhaitan…
And since there are potions of Destroyer and Undead slaying, logic dictates there should be a potion of branded slaying.
Do they count as another enemy type maybe?

Frostgorge may have enough enemy types if you included critters, but I believe I’ve tried it there before and failed.
White enemies count as 1 type. But Frostgorge has plenty.
My typical journey from south to north:
Minotaur
Ice Brood
Svanir
Griffon
deer
veteran lemon scented pine soul
grawl
drake
earth elemental
raptor
moa
critters
longhorn ram
arctodus
troll
ice imp
ice elemental (if I missed the earth elemental)
dolyak
ice wyrm
dredge
oozes in the jumping puzzle
Then the underwater enemies:
jellyfish
sea scorpion
ice shark
barracuda
skelk
polar bears
Veteran Largos – event
In areas I don’t hit often:
champion quaggan (might count as ice brood)
bats
leopard
maybe more!

We’re running out of time here, can we get an answer before it’s too late? This forum will be archived tomorrow.
I should have tried the PvP in and out idea. I figured it would put me back where I was though.
The /dance command helped a little. I was in a tiny space, still able to take about 1 step forward, so not immobilized (which might be why I didn’t get any message when trying /stuck). But /dance as a human slid me up the edge a little during the side step part. It didn’t get me out, but it might in some cases.
It’s most annoying because it was a barrier with big gaps that realistically my guy could easily have climbed through. But the gaps were treated as solid. I also couldn’t teleport to enemies through it with my Guardian Sword 2 skill because I couldn’t target them.
it’ll still cost me 10 minutes in loading and travelling back to where I was map exploring
I just want a teleport of 2 steps to the left. Can I have an appropriate waypoint fee for that distance?
Just fell into an area between a fence and a mountainside trying to do a vista and can’t get out.
/stuck command didn’t return an error but also didn’t free me.
If it’s too easy for you, you could always do 300 JP discoveries. Or complete each of the 30 jp instead of just visit them. If you’re masochistic, there are tons of ways to make the game an unenjoyable chore. Try fighting armorless!

I am forced into doing Frostgorge every day for my daily. It has more than 15 enemy types.
I had trouble getting 5 events until I discovered the one NW of the southern entrance to Frostgorge. There is a hill with Svanir and 2 ballistas.
Event 1: clear them out
Event 2: defend it when they try to take it back
Event 3: Escort dolyaks from there heading West
Event 4: Stop the summoning event when you arrive.
I do those 4 and the Norn Supplies to the east of there for my 5 daily. Repetitive yes, but it works.
Up north, there’s The Claw of Jormag for 3-4 events, and the dredge at Slough of Despond isn’t too hard to at least participate in. You don’t need to fully complete the event, leave some for other people to get theirs in.
the best way to jack up the price is by setting a net.
Funny choice of words..
I don’t think this is manipulation. It is the stupidest attempt at manipulation if it is, as no one will pay that much.
I have seen it twice in the game where almost all of the offers for an item vanish, and the price spikes temporarily, and then they all return later. It was great for me because items I had for sale that were covered in undercutters got sold for muuuch more than the current price. And then I checked it a little while later and the old price was now the lowest with a ton of offers in between.
No more than 3 seconds did the same monster respawn a couple of days ago. I JUST killed it, didn’t even heal from post-combat in time for the replacement.
I wish I remembered exactly where it was so I could report it here. Although the official response here was 3 months ago so it probably would have done no good.
I wonder what the new source of Snowflakes will be when presents end.
Boon Duration on the Giver’s armor is ten times less efficient than boon duration from runes and about 3 times less efficient than boon duration from traits.
What Gives?
The question is “What doesn’t give?”
The answer is “Giver’s!”
Agree.
The only thing I’ve noticed they added to PvE is the skritt burglar, which I’ve seen once. I missed the loot bags that apparently dropped because it was nighttime. But they are supposed to give junk items, just like everything else in the game so nothing to get excited about.

wow 100 events, that is actually quite a lot. It’s the equivalent to 20 dailies. For those who don’t play every day, it could be difficult.
re: a reason to go back to maps in pve for jumping puzzles.
It’s not going to revitalize pve. They aren’t getting involved in the areas, they’re just running to a spot from a waypoint and leaving. It won’t help any of the new christmas players. What we need is a Map Explore monthly, like “Explore Gendarran Fields” for January, which gets lots of players in that map, and getting involved. Each month a new map to re-explore.
Underwater skills are all kinds of messed up too. Many don’t work unless the enemy is at a certain elevation compared to you. I have gotten pretty good at it, but I avoid certain bum skills like the ele earth 3 skill that actually pulls and CCs YOU instead of the enemy.
Increased rare drops to make us happy (accompanied by a stealth ecto salvage nerf so we’re actually worse off).
Reduced stealth cooldowns because that makes sense.
No change to poor performance.
New activities and items, but with details missing that we discover after attempting and losing money on them.
Class balances.
Class unbalances.
More ascended items (amulet, acc).
A new map that has more than one enemy type so people might actually use it for their daily.
New crafting recipes using up surplus materials (hopefully) that aren’t useless.
Fix to our fractals woes… that comes with a flaw that is exploited or causes an uproar on the forums.
I’m glad it’s not forcing me to do jumping puzzles.
I don’t know why it’s even there though. Walk to the start of a jumping puzzle 30 times. Neither fun, nor rewarding. It won’t make people who love doing them love them more. It won’t make people who don’t like doing them start liking them. Just strange to include it.
I bet it started out as “Do 5 jumping puzzles in 1 month” and there were mixed opinions so they reworked it, so it wouldn’t be hard for anyone… but didn’t question if it was even worth keeping at that point.
I didn’t say it was OCD. I said OCD Gaming.
Regardless, being unable to feel good without getting every box in collections lit up isn’t healthy mentally. Being unable to stop anything is bad, and continuing to do something that makes you unhappy, and spending large amounts of money on an arbitrary idea of completion are things that need correcting.
Some people in this game pride themselves on their complete collection of mini-pets, they don’t farm for legendaries or fractal relics, they spend all their gold on completing their collection, it’s what’s fun for these people, some of those people have spend roughly 200$ and still haven’t received all four Wintersday mini-pets to completed their collection. In your opinion those people should just forget about their goals?
This is called OCD gaming. Anet shouldn’t encourage it. Making it impossible or unreasonably expensive forces these people to not get too crazy about completion. If it’s fun for people to collect minis, they can go ahead and do it. When it gets to the point where it’s not fun, they can stop. If they can’t stop, they need a mental health board instead of a change in the game. And I fully encourage them to get it, because it will make their lives easier and less stressful.
Achievements have no value anyway. It’s a bar that changes colour. It shouldn’t have any effect on your level of happiness.
It gives no reward, and if they had omitted it from the start you would have lost nothing.
If they can alter your luckiness with MF and DR, they can do it for any unrevealed reason they want. This may include luck for different people, or different days. Could give more to people who buy gems or less to them. Could make salvages after the first 50 get unlucky.
It’s completely possible they do something like this. So one person’s experience doesn’t invalidate another’s.
Personally since Lost Shores, my salvages have been terrible. I’d have several more gold if I had the same rates as before LS. I just sell them now for the people who are lucky to salvage and get ectos from.
Performance was a terrible issue since launch and not a single thing has improved. And nothing will be improved for another year, so it’s basically a lost cause for me.
I’m excluded from WvW. I would be much more into it if not for FPS dipping down to 3 at times.
Most people in my guild didn’t try it or not for more than 2 attempts. It’s not our idea of a good time.
“Not as hard as” doesn’t make it easy. It’s really not saying anything.
Asking a question like this here isn’t going to give you accurate statistics. Only the people who are great at jumping or terrible will respond.
The game as a whole is designed around the principal that you can get equivalent rewards for playing the parts of the game you like—
I’mma stop you right there.
The champ me and several others waypointed to to kill today, taking 10 minutes of our time rewarded a blue glove for me. Worth 59c. I can make more than that gathering in 10 minutes. Work and reward are not correlated in GW2.

They’re tough, but a bot playing with a ranger can take a swarm of them + many mobs. Seen it. Don’t know how the bot did it, but it looked very easy for them.
I also need to know this. People will be angry if they take their items away without warning.
With Lionguard Lyns, we asked and asked if she would be gone after Lost Shores. Never a response, but she remained.
But they also said she would be there through wintersday and without warning she was removed for the entirety of wintersday.
Also, the price of small scales didn’t triple at all recently. it went up maybe 60%.
Depends on the tier too. I think he lower the tier, the more you get back.
Any way we can speed the UI? So torturously slow.
This one time I was kidnapped and tortured for days but it wasn’t nearly as torturous as waiting for a TP page to load.
250 Silver Doubloons are needed for the Gift of Quicksilver, which is needed for crafting the Juggernaut legendary hammer.
Ok now i’m convinced someone at Anet is an X-Men fan. Colossus, and Quicksilver both related to a legendary named Juggernaut.
I can’t find any data about how much you will get as a result in transmutation. The 3 times I have tried it, I lost about 30s in a shockingly small number of resultant items.
I put in a full stack of something like iron and got about 40 of the next tier. Mithril to Ori was only 16.
And then you have to keep the skill point item in your bank to use towards the next waste of money attempts.
This happens to me when I use the Click & drag method of highlighting the text and deleting it. Something about highlighting text causes it to not actually give focus to the search box. Instead, click the button with the X in it to clear the existing words.
I have reported it as a bug but it’s one of those things that will never get fixed. An L2P (Learn To Put-up-with) issue.
How do you even have room in your inventory for 25,000 of an item?
Maybe this is something you need Power Trader for.
Normally I hate huge listings to buy or sell on the TP, as it’s a huge roadblock for all other players to do their business. But this sounds like a failed attempt at buying low and selling high. Are they candy corn?
I hope to one day know what ^that means.
The regular chickens didn’t seem to angry at me. Only after I started hitting them did the gang of evil chickens unstealth and chase me. Unless the regular chickens were just decoys trying to distract me as their gang took revenge on my family line.
Also, I miss how long mist form used to last in that video. I can’t believe he didn’t even use his heal.
Bit more info: It’s 4:14am in a Norther American server. Load should be pretty low right now. Even in Europe, it’s morning on a weekday, not huge activity. I clicked on Items I’ve Bought and after 9 seconds (timed on my watch) the screen finally opened.
I’m guessing that when it’s too long it times out and says NO RESULTS.
3 of them.
1 has been around since launch. That is when you click on any item in Transactions, it takes you to a Buy page. Yet you’re still in the transactions tab. There’s no way to go back; you are irreversably in the Buy screen. Yet you can’t click on the Transactions tab to open up My Transactions again because it is currently selected.
To get to Transactions tab, you have to click —any tab except Transactions-- followed by Transactions.
The other issue is recent for me, in that I click on Items I’ve Bought or Items I’m Selling and it just sits there a while before saying “NO RESULTS”.
Lastly, items in invisible bags don’t appear in the TP sell screen. Cool. But when you move them into a regular bag, they still don’t appear. You need to close and reopen the sell page to be able to sell it. The sluggishness of the UI should really be improved, and things like this are just more needless loading delays.
But I didn’t play Lagand of Zelda. Not even Legend of Zelda. Only rewarding those who have played that is discrimination against me.
Seriously those chickens were tough.
Still pounding my fist on my desk in anger and demand for a reward!
I could never get into D/D. Putting myself that close to the action got me killed a lot. Scepter/Dagger made me much more comfortable, although it isn’t the best for PvP. I’m very experienced and quick with it, but I went up against a D/D bunker elementalist and couldn’t do much to him.
It was a long fight but my health bar was lower than his at all times until he killed me.
But I only got 4 items. For sure for sure for sure. I was so excited to get my first deer chest as it took so long to get it.
Or are you saying the ticket counts for 2? If so, that suuucks because I have never used them and probably never will. I get them with my daily and they just stack up.
Bah, I think we got the longer end of the stick for playing at the start. Though there were more bugs, the economy hadn’t been fully ruined by botters at that time. There was no DR, lots of ways to make money. The only really bad part for me was having the trading post not work for so kitten long. I couldn’t care less about the deluxe edition stuff.
I just spent 10 minutes killing a trio of Angry Chickens in Ebonhawke. I was expecting a secret cool reward.
I got nothing. Not a secret cool reward. Not a kitchy tonic. Not even a poultry meat!
Thumbs down!
Haha.
BTW Deer is 10-19.
