Why do you think that is? Do you think that there’s maybe a reason that everyone complains about thieves 10x more than other classes?
And no, “L2P” would not be an adequate reply- unless you sincerely believe that people who play thief are all better than people who don’t, you must understand that skill would be generally evenly spread among classes, and yes, experienced players of other classes also think thieves are bs.
So ask yourself WHY everyone hates thieves- think long and hard about it.
because we are so much OP in pve that we are not allowed in parties, and we can solo everything?

gw2 currently does not deserve my time or my money, as OP said.
the problems are between the chair and the screen: aka the users.
low iq and refusal to learn to counter thief, which lead to thief nerf each patch.
even in PVE, lol. why warriors are gods in pve ??

I rarely if ever see a venom share setup.

basically you sacrifice almost everything to be viable (30DA+30SA) for 300 share range with pugs? no way ! + all utilities+elite lost to venoms
no crits, no viable bunker via stealth®en+ini spam, limited condition removal
BUT some are kitten and refuse to give us 600 share range to be useful
instead they give us +~30 more power to them, not bad, but it’s NOT what it is needed !

actually they ninja nerfed death blossom
old: you get evasion when you started the attack behind the enemy (full duration)
now: you get 1/4 sec evasion somewhere in the middle of the animation, not so reliable
which is a complete fail combined with the 25 bleed stack limit…
i was also thinking the venom share 300 unit range is too BIG, and needs toned down to 50

Another QQ thread….why don’t we just remove eles from the game? Seems all the baddies would be happy.

removing mug critical hit still makes thiefs in www too strong as due to www environment they can stay perma invisible and cloak delay from 4 to3 second was a mistake as it actualy make fight against them results in certain death as well with ability to finish in stealth
conditions removal and healing in stealth with ability go to stealth and hit from stealth without any penalizations as they can cloak within second with heavy dmg makes them extremely hard to kill even with several experienced players as they can fully regenerate in few seconds because stealth remove agression from themThat “they can fully regenerate in few seconds because stealth remove agression from them” made my day.
since when stealth drops agro ?
i would like to trade my worthless 2 second stealth for the current vapor form too

the duration of vaporfrom should be reduced to 2 seconds max too, to get a ~600 distance movement
yeah, these forms shouldn’t be able to activate any kind of portals either and get out of jail free card (mesmer portal/gate portal)

Why all the eles and warriors are cheating the downed ability and go trough the door/portal to enter their keep and heal up ?
Is this fair for the other classes who are sentenced to certain death if they are downed near the door ???

i think that it should be like this:
tier1-tierX:
fist place: advances 1 tier next reset
2nd place:remains at current tier
3rd place: drops 1 tier
obviously no.1 server can’t advance beyond no.1
and last server can’t drop
screw the rating system…
i am sorry a-net, you are not worth my time or money for this patch
(i wanted to repay with 10 euro gem purchase for the patch effort, but frankly i am a bit tired of backstabbing us at every patch, i was ok with the mug nerf since we had it incoming and had a small compensation in return but this….)
maybe if thief population dropped by 25%, then you would care ?

Before the patch when you activated a venom and you swinged in the air just pushing #1 without hitting anything (therefore getting “miss”) the effect of the venom disappeared just like if you already applied it or you got blocked, blinded etc.
That patch just said that the effect of the activated venom no longer disappears if you don’t hit anything.
but venoms were healing 625 hp then, now it’s 325+0.2 healing power
and -625 to enemy hp but now we have 325+0.0175*attack power…meaning 325+35 at 2000 power…
care to discuss about that nerf also ?

What I find so funny is that the Devs stated (in the April SotG) that they thought the BASE DAMAGE of thief attacks was too low, necessitating heavy investment into certain traitlines in order to get competitive damage.
…errrr, the base damage is low because the Devs themselves nerfed it into the the ground. I truly don’t understand the logic here.
What I find funny is, the Devs admitted that thief base dmg was sub-par and claimed they were looking into boosting the base dmg…. in every patch, thief dmg has been reduced… INCLUDING THIS ONE!… no not base dmg in this patch, but the inability for Mug to crit does, in fact, reduce the output of dmg a thief can do. And you are right, if they are so concerned about the base dmg a thief does as being poor in comparison to other classes… then why did they nerf the base dmg in the first place?
hypocrisy in it’s truest form ….. hahaha
even they don’t know what they are lying anymore

Hi guys. I was wondering if you can save your custom builds in the traits page will be added? page 1:vennom share, page 2:dps build, page 3 support build etc.
costing gems ofc, but i really like to swamp my builds fast, rather than go and re-select each of my traits, doing the same thing over and over again…
ofc you need to be out of combat and need the have the grandmaster slot traits available for your build(s)…
i want it for pve, since i don’t wvw/pvp :P
