guys doing 17k+ damage on a low lvl player with 2000 armor
(yes, on my guardian at lvl 30 with lvl 30 greens i have SO much armor)
it’s more than obvious than he will receive 15k++ damage from a glass cannon
comparing a low level with an 80 full exotics is like comparing small apples with coconuts

please nerf the thief in wvw/spvp as much as you wish,
but please balance the pve one, right now, we are not equals (other classes are prefered more in dungeons than others)
eg. warrior was op already in pve, now with the banner buff, it’s almost a must, as guardians :/
balance us in pve and i will be happy
P/P needs 1200 Range for dungeons/world bosses. Doing Jormag as P/P is difficult.
So, I see the devs themselves aren’t fans of Sword/Dagger.

you can always use shortbow and mash the no. 1 button for ~1050 range…

i proved my point:
necros get double the loot bags in wvw vs zergs at 1200 range
than me dagger storming trough the entire enemy zerg !
then i spam cluster bomb, i still can’t keep up !
12 seconds reuse ? a utility skill ? go for 24+ traited, and 30+ untraited, and it’s ok
the epidemic spam must stop !
p.s. your mobs in PVE do not clear conditions fyi

not to mentioned that 15 sec CD is an awful LOW cooldown for such a powerful skill (almost spamable), none of my thief utilities have lower than 30 seconds !
AND if traited epidemic goes down to 12 seconds … ahaha… OP is OP and you can’t deny it
one of the reasons a necro collects 2 times more lootbags than me daggerstorming the middle of the enemy zerg ! :P

Also, Basilisk Venom is the worst elite in PvE if you don´t aspect for it (and even so). So, why Anet dont make BV instant cast whit 2 seg. of duration in PvE?

I once ran 100 attempts of using it and can’t be bothered to dig up the post of the stats but it was something like a 28% success rate of using it.
i would be glad if they make such change
1. perma stealth near dungeon boss does NO damage to the boss
2. NPC do not get frustrated when they are killed by 6k backstab
3. a LOT of traits in SA depend on “on stealth”, nerfing if, all of them gets nerfed.
4. we have ONLY 2 aoe: cluster bomb and daggerstorm, just 1 stability skill
nerfing the thief in pve just so wvw can be happy is just wrong
as an example: dagger storm in a bunch of mobs doing 2-3k+ damage on each is ok
since a LOT of other classes can do so much better
in wvw it is considered OP, lol
just for the fun of of it, both aoe skills are 1/2 direct damage and 1/2 condition damage… never sinergizing with CG/dps build nor condition builds for max damage

it is so unreliable (targeting the lower torso/feet), and you get ~1/3 chance to pull him
other outcomes: target is knocked down for 0.1 sec (lol buggy skill)
miss/block/out of range etc.
no synergy with any trait
i wouldn’t take this skill even it had 15 sec cool down
1vs1 tournaments ? that would be something or 5 vs 5
much more drama that 1 class will be more op than others

- For PvE/PvP/WvW, we know that those are 3 different playstyles, we don’t just lump PvE and WvW together.
Considering WvW and PVE use the same skill values, yes you do.
We’re starting to split PvE/WvW in the upcoming patch.
But we want them to be things that keep consistency across the game types as much as possible.

Its becoming pretty clear that it would probably be better for some SFR guilds to transfer to Desolation if they want to beat the Vizunah beast. We dont have your crazy queue times and are a stable T1 server and dislike Vizunah for the same reasons you do. just throwing it out there.

Reason why we will lose some guilds is because we have proven ourselves we could win without much effort, and guilds were starting to aim more for the fun than for the points. But guess what, you CAN’T enjoy the game against 70+ blobs and 10 skill delay so many started to have “vacations” on lower tiers and others thought about leaving aswell.Your server is as stable as IRON is atm.

About alliances between VS and Desolation, hell no you sure don´t have one, but putting IRON on SFR Border instead of any other sure has a HUGE impact on our ppts, because not only those Hills are well safe but they also pressure our stuff all the fkin time. Don´t know if you realized but before IRON come to our Borderland we used to have full T3 maps to defend, after that all i see is a crappy SFR Borderland with IRON blob always there…If we happen to lose our supremacy and VS start focusing you, let’s see how strong you are, they are going to eat you, om nom nom!

Ok so other classes can spam: (note auto attack 1 skill doesn’t count !)
ele/engineer: 4×4 skills=16 skills f1,f2,f3,f4 each with 4 skills
rest: 2×4=8 skills
thieves: spam x2 black poweders= 12 ini (all your ini actually unless trait)
OR 4 HS, (3ini each)
OR 2C&D
warrior has highest dps / toughness and vitality ! & awsome flags with imba boons
thief: medium armor/some dps/ lowest vitality , almost non-existant boon support
but we have stealth ! …. but it is bad vs pve mobs now…
agility !….no…unless you spend 15 points trait
burst !….not very good in pve…
downed skill 3 = useless in pve
so?

imo it’s not best to make thief and stick with it, since it is ALWAYS on the nerf train
ppl will never be happy, really.
a-net should put their foot in the ground at some point:
enough ! this class remains as it is ! no matter what.
if you are not dumb, you can see he retreats and pick another victim, when he can see he can’t kill his targets
as a note, most of his kills are under-leveled ppl or bads, which, both of these categories deserve to be killed

actually, in wvw i have 2k armor on my guardian with gear at my level 30 (all greens)
yes, i have 25k hp, but almost NO armor, so that’s why you guys get 15-20k+ backstabs !
i want to see a warrior/guardian soloing it too
yeah, but the thing IS that dungeon bosses do not give a kitten about how much you stay in stealth ! or that you can burst 20k in less 2 seconds
this is where wvw nerfs come to pve
