I like the concept art for each class in https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/professions/ website . The concept art for each class is very beautiful and awesome. I know is concept art but maybe if each class ask arena net to make same concept art skin or clothe for their class, arena net may make happen? I will make list of description of concept art design for each class.
Thief- have cape with mouth scarf, fingerless gloves and long boot
Engineer- long brown leather jacket, goggles and long leather gloves.
Elementalist- hood cape, long boots and medium head crown.
Ranger- mouth scarf, cape, long boot, long black leather jacket and long leather glove.
Necromancer- hood cape and long leather gloves.
Warrior- Heavy armor
Mesmer- long dress, long leather gloves, cape and long boots
Guardian- Medium armor, head crown
This is end list. Again, is suggestion; would be beautiful to see happen because concept artist work hard and did great job, so why not show it in game?

No celestial nerf= more old problems= more no fun.
We should still have tanks, healers, and damagers because different people like the different styles. Variety is good!

That was what was intended. It’s exactly what we have. Not 3 roles, 8 professions. Within those professions, there is a also versatility in traits and utility skills, which can be switched out from encounter to encounter.
You want to play tanks n’ healers? Wooden Potatoes has videos showing a 22K-group-healing-every-15-seconds build and a high armor, high sustain warrior build. Slot those, grab three ranged DPS and have at it. This game system gives the freedom for both that and high efficiency play. You can play trinity right now.
Yet, you want to throw away that freedom and make everyone play trinity. That’s what you’re really asking for. Why? So you can get into the PuG versions of speed runs with those builds. These complaints are essentially asking ANet to throw away one of the game’s core design features so you don’t have to type anything in the LFG and don’t have to make any effort to find the like-minded.

I want to comment; all what you write is right. But you forget other part; zerk. Instead of write trinity party, put zerk in place. I read a lot of past and present forum and post and find, zerk being more problematic than non zerk;trinity party. I do not find non zerk; trinity forum and post in guild wars 2 forum being problem but zerk.
You say Lfg tool; i see all time “zerk only-speed run”, “no zerk-gtfo” ; is ok? Even in wvw; even some party in wvw in my server, will have only zerk party. You say freedom? Do other no zerk have freedom? So is ok for zerk only to have freedom to play and not zerk?
I see 2 problem in guild wars 2 game design mode ; Zerk and Non Zerk.
Zerk= too much damage: Offense
non zerk= too much heal; Defense
So question is, how to balance these 2 game design mode? These 2 game design mode is source of problem.
That is why Trinity is only choice balance game design mode to balance them. But do each guild wars 2 profession; class design are trinity game design? No! but was guild wars 2 suppose be trinity game design mode? Yes. This was why guild wars 2 was different mmo because no Trinity. All profession;class are Trinity, This is even main problem because it is confusing.
Should every profession;class be Trinity? Yes but Warrior, Thief, Engineer and Elementalist class only are Trinity. This is why other class; ranger, guardian and mesmer complain because they are correct. Complain because there is problem, they are not Trinity game design like them. This is why non trinity class see Thief, Enginner, Elementalist and Warrior be Op.
If all have same trinity; there would be no problem in game. No problem in party, no problem in Offense and Defense game design; every class will be Powerful and be Strong. Same Trinity be for pve boss.
Someone in guild say, “if all class are Op, there would be no complain about whose class is Op or not; because they all are”, i laugh lol" i find funny but guild player is correct.
The guild player say, “the problem really is about the Trinity Class design vs the non-Trinity class design and that arena need to address it very soon because it is dividing the community”

It’s the nature of the beast whenever there’s a flood of new players into the game. Just (politely) point these new players to Hotjoin and tell them to get their feet wet there first.

If you run in the tail, you are going to get picked off. They don’t care about you because having a tail is a bad thing, and not being on tag is an inconvenience. Stay close to tag or be good enough to kill the thieves that try and pick you off. If you run full zerk, you will have no defense and go down far faster than if you had defense. That is called a trade off. Zerker thieves are not “op,” as someone who plays thief and mesmer I can assure you that mesmer is a lot more survivable in full zerk. That thief did exactly what he intended to do, he took out a squishy light armor with 0 defensive capabilities who was too far from the zerg to cause him to get steamrolled.
So player who in the tail get punish? It like saying, tail of zerg is not important. I do not agree; every part of zerg is important, include tail. Example; like animal tail; so if somebody cut tail; it is animal fault for have tail? So is trade of for animal for have tail? Some class like necromancer is slow class, so is ok for thief to kill because it is in the tail? I say; all player are important including in the tail; i play guardian class and i protect the tail players because they are part of party. Also there is new player in wvw who is not experience in run fast but is learning; should they be not important to party for be in the tail? should new player trade of be instant kill because not learn yet and experience yet?
In my server; some thief stay behind with in the tail player to protect them; even other player and commander wait for in the tail player; they wait for me too; which is nice.
I understand what you say but i do not find ok for this trade of at all. Every part is important; No trade of.

I have lvl 80 mesmer. Full zerk – exo armor, ascended trinkets. Anything non-zerk would have less damage. Max crit hit I have done is about 2,000. How to get 10,414 in a split second with mesmer?
So far best weapon (of mesmer) against the thief is the Moa bird. But you may know how hard it is to get invisible thief as target for the whole cast time. Specially if thief surprises and instakills.

It’s not wrong for other classes to wear zerker. shadowpass never claimed that. If you want to get advice from other players, there was another thread with a lot of useful info which you refused to consider or acknowledge. Don’t put words in other people’s mouths for rhetorical points.
All shadowpass was pointing out was that zerker gear doesn’t give you the defensive stats you need to survive a burst, whether it’s level 80 ascended or level 2 common. The only caveat is the defense bonus from armor pieces, but for light armor professions this is quite low.
Zerker is totally viable for mesmer but only if you know how to avoid burst damage. Thieves are actually more vulnerable with full zerker because their health pool is 2/3 the size of a mesmer’s.

All mmo game i play have trinity; not guild war 2. Trinity give each profession support roles in party; healer, tank etc.. Guild Wars 2 not have trinity is broken; some class have trinity and some do not; xample; Elementalist, thief, warrior, engineer are trinity class and ranger, guardian, mesmer are not at all. Why also trinity is good? Trinity is good for keep game healthy and fun. Trinity keep game a little slow but not too fast. Trinity is good to help each profession take time to learn strategy and learn from mistake.
But Guild Wars 2 like karukurt say; is about zerk. Why zerk is bad for guild wars 2? Zerk do not keep game healthy and fun. Zerk make game very fast; too fast and boring. Zerk is reason for instant kill+critical attack trait. When i first join in wvw; not even join in few minute; i died in second. I did not understand how i die so fast. I ask other player and they say it was thief. Because thief is wear zerker gear and with critical traits so why i instant die.
So that is problem with zerker. It is sad like Karakurt say, zerk kill boss fast. I see in pve that and feel sad than laugh. Boss should be hard, toguh and challenge and need use strategy and learn to kill. Why are they boss if they die fast? Boss should fight for challenge; not die fast. Why are they boss if they do not have time to use strategy? I feel sad for boss who die fast. I find same problem in wvw; zerk kill player fast, player do not have time for strategy because zerker= fast kill with instant kill class.
That is why i like trinity and trinity win and zerk lose. Trinity= Challenge and Zerk= No challenge. Trinity make you think and Zerk make you go fast kill. I agree with Karakurt.

- Useless masteries system outside the new map3 years to devellop that. They really were doing nothing since launch. Such a shame.
They didnt say 3 maps, they said 3 biomes. in Gw2 currently we have like 5 maps per biome
they also didnt say the new masteries are only usuable in the new maps, the lore ones probably yes but glinding can be useful everywhere.
there are also new skills, the specializations, precursor crafting, new WvW map with new mechanics, New PvP mode.
And we just know the overview, we need to know the details before we can judge something like this.
I agree with Simzani and some with you. If player base have to wait 2 years-3 years for expansion; it should have more. 2 years-3 years wait expansion should be more. I play f.f 14, wow, tera, bS, Archeage, Rift and beta; bless online and black desert. They all have Sunshine:OP balance patch interval suggestion for gw2. 2 weeks-4 weeks; they release balance patch. Game company keep communication with player base about what wrong with game and they make adjustment. Communication with company and player base help improve game and keep good relation with company.

Yes i have problem with thief and that why i look in past to see if problem was already there and fix or not; I find problem still not fix and still is present. Present for 2 years? What is going on for each 6 month balance patch?
I read new balance patch https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/preview-of-upcoming-balance-changes/ and still no adjustment or fix for old problem?
If arena net do not want to make adjustment of fix old problem, why not tell player why ? Is game company job for give some answer to player base problem. Not giving answer and waiting too long is bad relation with company with player.
If player base wait this long 6 month for balance patch; the player base expect huge adjustment and huge fix from company; arena net; not tiny adjustment and tiny fix and hurt relation with player base and game.
I read past balance patch and Surprise see only have 1page- 2 page = tiny patch. 6 month balance patch should have 4 page-10 page= huge patch.
That is why i like and agree with Sunshine;OP suggestion to make easier for arena net for not wait 6 month but 2 weeks. It will help arena net relation with player base and game for guild wars 2 present-future for work together to fix problem and adjust problem and make guild wars 2 better

Arena net need install zerker damage limit for each class and dungeon boss. The easy suggestion is limit zerker damage for each class and dungeon; boss. Example; warrior zerk damage limit= 3.5k, thief=1.7k, ranger=1.5k, guardian=3.3k, elementalist=1.5k, engineer=1.5k, mesmer=1.7k . For dungeon boss= 2k damage limit. No Limit= Always damage Op/high problem. If was zerker damage limit; there would no problem with Zerker Op/high damage problem.

I never understand why player leave wvw and log out game. So today i find why. There were 5 troll thief player in stealth killing player when try leave EB main camp to go Sm. I die all time but ok i say, i will try harder. I try harder than always in instant. Each time thief player health is 90% lower; thief stealth and health 100%. After 30 minute i saw player in party/zerg and guild leave wvw and some log out game. I said wow!, 30 minute waste just to find 5 thief player and kill.
Stealth is not make player play wvw and guild wars 2 because waste time. Why waste time when all you do is die and find stealth player? After find stealth player for so long time, the time waste could be use for strategy and learning in wvw.
I wait for 45+ minute until other server thief player find thief and kill them. 45+ minute to wait for use time for wvw? 45 minute for play wvw?
For thief player; is it ok for waste other player time who want use constructive time for wvw? All time you waste for other not stealth player, they could use time for help other player; like new player in wvw who want learn and explore wvw; Example; me and other player
Suggestion; Give each main camp NPC Guard+Boss 3600 (1200+1200+1200) range weapon for instant kill stealth player
Suggestion 2; Make stealth player not stealth close keep 3600 range (1200+1200+1200)
So other not stealth player use time for wvw and not leave wvw and log out game

Low damage is funner than high damage because it takes more skill and becomes more about tactics. HIgh damage is about who attacks first. This is evident in part by how badly SPvP has failed and how berserker centric PvE is. ArenaNet has also done a horrible job of balancing damage, mitigation, healing, conditions, and mobility, which makes people choose the most OP option. At they very least the might nerf is a teeny tiny step in the right direction. Being able to bunker up and have high damage isn’t something that should be possible because it kills the balance for berserkers. On the other hand a berserker shouldn’t be able to one shot any class regardless of how they are built. This game could safely halve the current damage and fights would be all the funner for it.

There is no “super class”, there is only your personal inability to handle a glass cannon build. You should really learn to accept some responsibility here.
No, some do not use tanky gear, and they can die just as fast as you. Any profession can make a very quick killing glass cannon. It is about builds, not professions.
Your analogy is horrible in my opinion, this is nothing like comparing a wealthy person to a poor person.
You should either gear for more defense, or trait for more defense. Otherwise, you get a build with little defense, and hence, your problem.

It’s game breaking, but I don’t think they realize it. Stacking immobilize for 20 seconds is also game-breaking…
stack immobilize for 20 seconds? that is why i see player immobilize for a long time? I thought it was class skill, wow!; why arena net not fix bug for how long time?

Ok, there are certain classes in this game you can be certain that they are new/inexperienced players.
There is also a class which is chosen by those who are experienced/good. And that class is thief.
So if anyone is new to this game and wonders about thieves they should ask an equally skilled friend to create a thief – I’m certain that the non thief will win. It takes skill to play thief; you don’t lose to thief, you lose to the player.
Problem to other class is how can thief kill and other instant kill damage class; engineer, elementalist kill so fast? The other class who don’t instant kill damage is the one using skill-skills; not other way around.
Why can they not use same instant kill damage and say, “take skill”? Take skill is to be challenge; what is challenge when a class instant kill with high damage? Should be take skills< with s= more skills…. so that why other class see thief, elementalist, ranger and engineer not take skill or use skill.
Other challenge class is skills< with s— using skills to play. Using skills to win= challenge, using skill or a skill to instant win= no challenge.
Example; 1 hour car race— cars are ready to race.. Annoucement “get ready… go”.. cars race than sudden.. see some cars go very fast and win in 1 second-10 seconds. How possible? Investigation; find cars that win race in 1 seconds-10 seconds have a super engine to win.
So did cars used skill or skills to win? Did cars was challenge for other cars in race? Point is, thief, elementalist and engineer class etc… are not create to be challenge like other class. They are not create to win with skill like other class. Today i see thief instant kill some class in seconds; did not give other class chance to challenge because all thief do was repeat same “skill” over and over to instant kill other class.
Last; only way to make instant kill damge class to use skills and be challenge is for arena net to recreate their class over; not nerf but recreate-redesign. Like example car; only way for super engine cars to be challenge and be challenge like other car is to take remake car all over because other car part help super engine. Nerf thief, engineer and elementalist is not enough; it is joke for class and other class who want challenge and fun.
Thief, elementalist and engineer are Super Class; No Competition, No Challenge, No Fun; that is all!!
Example; it is like rich blaming poor for not be rich. Rich have more and blame poor for have little. Rich say to poor, “learn to make more”, “it is your fault for not have more” but who control more? Rich.
If Thief, elementalist and engineer want continue blame other class for not using “skill” and be competition; they should ask arena net to delete other class and make guild wars 2 have only elementalist, thief and engineer; every clss will be same= same instant kill creation, same instant kill design, same instant high damage+same "skill"+Super Class= same challenge.

High damage also in critic and might damage. Why nerf might and not critic damage? Why no nerf for fire/air sigil? Why no nerf to high critic damge traits? This “might damage nerf” is joke to instant kill class, why? fire/air sigil+zerk weapon+critic damage traits is source of instant kill damage class. Is source of not fun; not might only. Instant kill or high damage kill class will switch to critic for other instant high damage kill.

If there is something OP is the almost permanent stealth.Sure, I can agree that perma stealth can be OP. Finally you stated something not only reasonable, but something I can agree with. I do not feel they need a nerf though. There are several things that are OP in the game but do not need nerfed.
5. Things that need to go:
Thieves resteathling repeatedly in a short interval.
Thieves moving across the map faster than any other class or any thing that ever lived in gw2.Your turning your entire post into one giant hyperbole.
You should not have multiple get out of jail cards. If you engage in a fight you should tough it out. If you lose..tough luck..learn to play like the rest of us.
hmm, I can beat thieves consistently, as well as most anyone else I know. Including other thieves. Shouldn’t you learn to play like the rest of us?
The multiple restealthing has to be fixed either by introducing cooldowns or increasing the initiative requirements.
They did fix this. It is called reveal.
Its like monty python chasing a thief around. How can anyone take this game seriously if these glaring imbalances and broken mechanics are still in effect months into the game? The fixes are simple and easy.

1. A thief can use stealth to drop combat, heal to full automatically, then reengage before their target can drop combat. Even allowing for a brand new weapon to be equipped that’s perfect vs that target. So it’s a free reset for the thief but not for their target.
If a thief resets the fight, the opponent also gets the reset.
That would only make sense if there are other enemy players that have also engaged and are still in range or NPC mobs around.2. A thief can do damage and stay stealthed. If the thief does this properly the target will not realize where the damage is coming from until it’s too late. You can never really know if you are being killed by a stealthed thief or just by an unrendered source. So you cannot simply think “I’m taking damage must be a thief” and respond accordingly because if it’s just the clipping bug then you are equally screwed. (But if you are dead in under 2sec… ya it was a thief.)
The only thief that could do any decent damage while stealthed would be a condi P/D Cheese thief using caltrops,uncatchable etc.. but would they be able to kill anything with out breaking it and dropping sneak attack or a few shadow strikes to stack conditions? no decent player will lose to a thief just stacking bleeds.
If you’re talking about power builds, well then lol, even if you’re a crappy stealth spamming DP thief you cant stay stealthed and do any decent amount of damage. You can usually tell if a thief traits into SA or not, difference of 3/4 second CnD stealth/BP+HS combo, most classes (lolnecro) have blink/mobility skills, the thief needs to allow themselves to let stealth drop off before they execute the next stealth chain attack, therefore learning to time dodges while kiting is important.3. You cannot run away from a thief. It is impossible. The only thing you can hope for is that the thief doesn’t follow you for some reason. They can engage combat at the farthest range by a very large margin. They out-range and out run everything with proper use of shadowstep + other skills.
Thieves are made to finish off lower opponents. However, chasing down opponents comes at a huge cost, if you blow shadowstep/infiltrators/steal to just catch an opponent, that already puts you at a disadvantage, spamming infiltrators arrow will mean you’re gonna be low on initiative. And thats IF the thief is running shortbow.
4. Thieves can kill with a burst, but they die pretty easily as well.
If there is something OP is the almost permanent stealth.Please tell me how you’re able to perma stealth.

You know its funny in Other MMO’s Rogues/Thieves/Assassins have permanent stealth and still do crazy damage. I’m really shocked that stealth gets so much hate in this game, it’s really a staple mechanic of every major MMO and Gw2 has a very balanced approach to how stealth is actually used.
I play many mmo’s game with rogue class, what mmo’s game? Name mmo’s game? Player would say unfair and company would change.

I care for pve and pvp because is challenge; challenge= fun. If talk about wvw; challenge ok until instant kill by instant kill class; no challenge= not fun.
agreed, it can be dealt with and although frustrating its here and nothing can be done about that. And although Im not the best and fighting thieves I have killed more then have killed me so Im good with that, they are predicatable and although usually a complete waste of time, a joy to kill

If you haven’t played since September, the damage log now has much more robust information. When you open the chat tab filter menu there is an arrow next to the combat channel with more options.

Hi. i ask other player in the game why thief class is give long range weapon; pistol, but they say is bad design and do not make sense for thief profession design in mmo game. So i want ask thief here for opinion, if same? Thief class is close range class but why make thief class weapon; pistol have long range? Idea? what advantage than long attack range do pistol have? when i think long range weapon, i think staff and bow and rifle; sniper gun. . when i think close range weapon, i think dagger, hammer, sword, short bow, mace etc.. I find very beautiful suggestion; i remember zelda and final fantasy 11 having same. It give life behind character instead chose class, weapon, build and server and world, that all. Lving story is story for game; class and world but having personal living story for character would be beautiful. Like deep personal history history.
I want experience elder dragon history before elder dragon become adult dragon? Maybe also visit elder dragon world and experience as baby-adult?
Maybe arena net can make personal living story for character, class when they were born and grow? and visit there place; like past, family? and maybe visit them have effect on future?

1. Suggestion; like supply camp-make not stealth in down state.
2. Give other not stealth class skill to attack stealth in down state.

I don’t think people are really complaining about his grammer. The complaints are more about the fact he is making qq threads when he can’t even tell what profession he is fighting. When you can’t even tell who is killing you that goes beyond L2P and yet in every one of his threads he claims that everyone that kills him is playing a class that takes no skill or is “no challenge”.

Go back and read through my previous responses to you in the other threads. When you actually asked a question I gave you advice. However the majority of your posts are basically just a bunch of whining and complaining that anything that kills you is OP.
What’s worse is you taking the stance that you won’t play the classes to learn how to counter them because “they take no skill”, which you clearly can’t know since you’ve never played them.
For kittens sake in 1 thread you actually asked for the removal of all condi’s from WvW except for condi necro…. I’m guessing condi necro is what you play so that’s fine? If you really want to learn and be a better player start playing the classes that are giving you a hard time so you can kittening learn to counter them. Until you do that posting complaints is pointless and no one will take you seriously.

Opinion: I would email that one in and not use it, that is an exploit. Main reason I say this is that since that edge of keep is not coded correctly and you shouldn’t be able to stand there. Using that to access the wall when the design is not intending you to do so is what makes it an exploit. Good hunting!

Hacking and exploiting are different. An exploit is finding something that isn’t meant to be used in a way its designed, in this case that edge over extending into the open air allowing the OP to aim and use abilities to access the wall. And as I said, my opinion and I would avoid using it.

I am wow player also. Wow forum do not talk bad for guild wars 2; every game have good and bad. Wow have some thing guild wars 2 do not have and guild wars 2 have some thing wow do not have. Would be happy if wow player talk bad for guild wars 2? Blizzard and Arena net is different company; you have personal choice to pick which you like.
Not saying i do not want housing, mount, more skill and more end game expansion for guild wars 2 but it is different game; Arena net can make guild wars 2 have same if want.

Why is it everything that kills you is “no challenge”? Thieves, condi’s, and now hammer warriors. These are 3 very different fighting styles, maybe the problem is you.

I find interesting why warrior hammer hit me around; fly me everywhere and in air like a toy, When hammer hit me, i fall; stun and hammer pick me from floor and throw me around and in air— continue over, over.
