Cmon Anet, the amount of people who has been asking for White Wings is huge, yet only the black ones are introduced?
I instantly felt the same way. Pretty much every opportunity to make something look dark, dead, on fire, marred, broken, old, sick, tarnished, or basically anti life, the art team chooses to do it. It’s why the appearance of the game is so narrow.
For the black wings, I’d rather have a whole other set created. Look at the general structure, uniformity, and texture or each feather, then you’ll see why changing the color wouldn’t be enough.

Most “top” pvpers already macros jump and dodge anyways so I doubt it matters.
Or….. we side thumb down the space bar and the “v” key together.
The most demand for a macro is for opening inventory item stacks. Which can simply be achieved by associating the left click to the scroll wheel. So one tick of the wheel equals one left click.
Sigil of Speed is similar as you can stack perma swiftness pretty easily. The “Major Sigil of Speed” is cheap too.
Please, lower the volume on this mini? It’s disgustingly loud on the effects channel. It’s far louder than any other mini with such a disgusting choking/coughing sound. It’s been driving me nuts for weeks and I couldn’t figure out what it was. Finally just found the sound tonight. Yes, I’m aware it’s low on the priority list before anyone complains. It’s simply something that is quick and easy to do. And yes, I do actually like the game sound track and listen to it exclusively while playing.
Repeatedly asked for Angel Wings in game. What does Anet do, it makes black ones. GG, how about some nice white Angel wings please???? Also, please hire whomever you need to make some nice clean designs.
After seeing the glider I instantly thought of how great it would be to have custom Gliders. My first choice would be an Angel Winged one to go with one of my guild themes. Anyone else have a suggestion for custom gliders?

Wow, so salty. I’d go as far as saying too salty on the subject. For the “happy to pay” portion, I have not purchased gems for this endeavor. ToT bags are presently the quickest and most efficient way for me to obtain Essence of Luck. Once I cap it though, then the value in this will hit the floor.

Customer feedback is required for a business model to prosper. If players started simply playing less and paying less, how would Anet know the reason’s for such behavior? As I previously posted, they should also know the effects it’s having on their future. Because design’s like this mini’s acquisition can in fact diminish the games value proposition. It actually sours the customer relationship toward being adversarial. Of course, they are some whom appreciate this design as they’ve been asking for items of prestige. Being the most expensive item in game, this mini certainly fills that.
I decided on going for this mini before the drop rates were researched. If this was referred to as a “Legendary” mini in the patch notes I would have likely not given it consideration. Though, since I did decide to go for it, I set aside some time and resources for making pushes at this goal. I’m speaking up now as I’m doing one of these pushes. To express to the dev’s the poor experience I’m having as I’m doing it in the moment. Speaking of that, another 1300 bags opened last night, no mini. The only reason that keeps me “ok” with doing this is the amount of essence of luck that drops from ToT bags is high.
OH! that reminds me of an idea I had. Hey Gaile, may I ask for something? How about repurposing the festivals “Lucky Envelope” fireworks effects into craftable “Lucky Fireworks”? As they are labelled they are crafted out of nothing but Essence of Luck. It’ll finally give players with 300 something to do with the spare Essence of Luck. Hmm…. I’ll make a new thread on this idea too.
Sigh, as soon as it was revealed on here I made a point of reminding players to NOT put these is the more persistent maps like Cities. Luckily with the mega server, instances still have a life cycle. Still… please put them somewhere else? Any map with a short lifespan won’t annoy players too much.
So an exploit then, though a mostly harmless one.
Wonder what the penalty will be. Back in WoW, people got permabanned from forums just for talking about exploits openly, regardless of the nature of the said exploit.
The penalty is nothing because this is a bug, not an exploit. There’s nothing to be gained and nothing harmed from this.

So I guess it really hasn’t been a mistake. The mini Gwyn really is designed to be the supreme status item in game. It’s certainly explains why it’s, on average, the single most expensive item to obtain in game.

Yeah, Charged is pretty hard to come by with normal PvE or WvW play. Even with the insane amount of hours I put into the game, I only have 25 Lodestones. I finally sold my stockpile of 172 cores last week. Pretty much been saving them up since launch.
I’ve asked for one before too. Then for Wintersday they brought out the Rim Rimmed breather that’s soulbound and ridiculous;y hard to get. I was lucky to get just one. Which is pretty useless for someone like me whom runs alts. So, it sits in my bank hoping they change it to account bound.
So I stopped again at 4,500 bags opened. The side of my screen is still scrolling items and it’s probably been 20 minutes after stopping. Of course, I received nothing but vendor trash really. The only thing of value was the 30 t6 mats. That and the 93,000+ Candy Corn. GG, lucky I’m an altoholic and have some storage capacity.
What’s interesting is the Dev’s are all about the expansion and the Revenant. Meanwhile, I’m like “who cares?” when I’m still trying to finish something from 4 months ago.

So… here I am staring at another 20 slot bag filled with stacks of Trick or Treat bags. I think I may need a mini intervention.
For me, I haven’t lagged or DC’s tonight. Did another ping test and no packet occurring within the telia network. I’m still highly aggravated at the trace route going overseas and back. Makes little sense to me but, at least it’s functioning atm.
Wait a second, why am I getting routed to Europe? What the heck kind of bat nuts crazy routing is this?
Editing to add, I tried another of the games IP’s and was routed to Australia and back. Where’s the more direct 900 mile or so connection with limited hops? Not liking the 20+ hops this is taking.

Completely agree that it was a bad call of the Dev’s to remove this. It should be put back in as it was.
In WvW, during a Garri LR 3 way, it was impossible to play. Just horribly bad lag. Couldn’t even way point to spawn for 3 minutes. Then, when I finally could, messages I wrote in Garri finally popped up in chat when I hit spawn. Never seen anything like this before.
No, it’s not my system, something is fubar on the server side.

Since Halloween, I’ve open well over 100k bags. This was just the latest batch I tried my luck at. Originally there was someone whom posted they open 1.2 million. Which is an extreme ouch! I’m just surprised at 4.5k nothing of rarity at all. No Zuzu or tonics, etc. All I received was flat out vendor material, candy corn, and essence of luck. This is why I have such low expectation from the expansion. As it’ll likely be filled with more unobtainium.
Maybe someone should make one of these themed for ToT bags too…..

Thank you, I just opened 690 Divine Envelopes (buy/open/sell/buy more cycles) and made a little gold out of it. So between all the Trick or Treat bags and Envelopes I was able to raise my magic find over the past 10 days by 15%. So I don’t have my mini but, made a little account wide progress. Of course, for those at 300% and trying for the mini, they are certainly losing out big.
Dev’s, it’s pretty simple, I’m much rather be playing content and having fun. Instead, I spent an entire evening sitting idle and opening bags. This RNG is for the birds. So how about kindly unkittening your RNG.

Stopped at 4.5k because it’s been completely demoralizing and my fingers hurt. Dev’s be glad I’m not going to Pax East. We’d have a conversation you would not enjoy. Though I would feel a lot better finally getting around the kitten censor
How about put the Candy Corn Gobbler back on the market? At least I’ll have a use for all this darn Candy Corn on my other accts please? I already have every bag slot filled with Halloween pails so I can’t even use it for that either.

I’ve noticed over the past month that sometimes transferring an item to or from the Guild Bank can crash the client (again). Right now I’m staring at a locked client with a whitish overlay because I transferred a stack of goods from the bank to my character. This happens in WvW and in the Cities. Sometimes, items do not appear instantly and require another item to be dragged to unbug the previous item. If this can be looked into that would be great.
Also what happens when THAT person dies, even with scaling 3 tergriffs and charge and perma-stun people dead, it’s happened to me lots. That being said I am a necro with low access to stability.
With less people comes more pressure to not kitten up and we play this game to get away from that kind of pressure from real life, or some of us do.
I’d recommend being a Zerker Necro with Staff and Axe/Wahorn or Dagger/Dagger. With our cripples, blinds, weakness, chills, and fears the Teragriff’s shouldn’t be an issue. Then of course we have Lich form which is full uptime of stability and the DPS output is very high. Also, get people to clear the Hidden Depths way point and use some scorps. They are very powerful with knock backs, stuns, and blinds.
Event scaling is supposed to take into account the actions of players. If a player takes no action toward an event, even if they are present, the event is supposed to remove them from scaling function. Perhaps the Dev’s should look at this to make certain it’s properly working in a timely manner.
I asked a long time ago for an alliance system to be created. Where it removes WvW and creates a separate entity for us to join and fight for. Hoping there would also be themes, back story, and lore in said alliances. Heck, even add politics to fight for too! Have a Ellen vs. Evon battle that we get to join into. I’d OT like a mother on Ellen’s side just to pound those whiny lil brat snowflakes on Evon’s side into the ground.
For this to happen though, there’s one HUGE feature Anet would have to provide. That feature needed is voice comms. The dev’s know well what the server’s and guilds are doing with 3rd party platforms to make the game better. They need to step up and start integrating these things as in game features.

I WvW for the large scale combat. “blobbing” is exactly why a lot of people play WvW. Why would they ever change that to suit the minority of players whom want to roam? Punishing players who wish to play together sounds like a great way to kill an MMO like GW2.
Most of the complaints of EotM appears to come from players with little to no EotM experience. So why would the dev’s listen to them? I have thousands of WvW hours racked up and certainly hundreds in EotM too. Both can be very enjoyable experiences.
For some, they believe WvW should just be zerg fights on flat terrain where Zerg A runs into Zerg B. For others, they believe WvW should be more dynamic with variable terrain, properties, siege, and event objectives. I believe the dev’s know which is going to sustain the game in the long term. They’ll also give a little something for those who just want to zerg fight.
I asked for this feature after the Mega Server went live. I guess the dev’s do not want players actually being able to communicate with the people of there world. Heck, the dev’s should have forum sections for each world on here too. Especially if you could only view the forum for your specific world. Anet is the only one with real time data to where our accounts reside. The dev’s could be doing so much more to help rebuild/build worlds.
There’s this thing the Dev’s have called “event scaling”. If you couldn’t defend with 20, you were most likely going to fail with 30, 40, or even 50 too.
You are not being harmed in any way by those afk, those using the merchant, those going for a bio, those doing the living story, those doing the zone achievements, or those doing the JP. Don’t even begin to think the map is just for you and the events you want done.
This is pretty much the “status” mini to me. I can’t get this to drop at all. I’m probably just under 200k bags opened and nothing yet. I’m guessing I’m at or above this amount by having over 2k of each finisher from the bags.

We’ve had several “balance” passes done by the dev’s to alter the capacity our of characters. We’ve had additional runes, sigils, foods, ascended gear, new armor/weapon stats, and WvW rank bonus stacks. So yes, there’s no denying there’s been changes in the game. Certainly they’ve added a level of power creep too. For combat, yeah it’s boiled down to posting those big numbers.
News flash to the dude losing his mind regarding “mentioning” that this is a place to farm for this particular set of mats: Anet already told the population of their game this info when they introduced a new weapon into the game some time ago by way of a story/riddle here in the forums. Its really not a secret and I doubt anet will be nerf it since they are they ones that brought light to it even being a thing.
Actually they did nerf it, about 5 months after this thread was made.
I used to farm this area regularly for the T5 and T6 bloods. Then they put in the consortium living story with the LA karka event A lot more people started farming that area while that story line was in place. Shortly after that it was nerfed. The reason they gave was that there was too many skelk. This effectively killed that farm.

No no no… I was there in the water with my Ranger farming when the patch hit. When I logged back in there was skelks everywhere! I killed a few and realized this is badly bugged and left the area. This bug fix was to reduce the number back to normal levels. Since you posted the date of the patch, it was easy for me to find the screen shot I posted then about it.
Beyond the lore and GW1 discussion, GW2 was supposed to have us working together to build Worlds. Not fracture into little guilds and fight each other for vanity. I believe WvW should never have had visible guild tags. That allowed the focus of a World concept to be lessened.
Well, I went for the second piece. And guess what? I didn’t get anything. First champion killed (and only), extractor activated (bladder one) and I GOT NOTHING. I said good bye to that place for good. Not gonna waste my time for nothing.
It’s one extractor for one piece or a whole, depending on the body part. Everything you are stating is exactly as it’s intended. We’re all playing in the SW with the same mechanics. I have not found one extractor to decide not to work. I have forgotten to click on another extractor if say, we killed thrasher then ran to silver/gold. Or, while doing to VW and my lane does two bosses and I forget to click another extractor in between.
I have what I believe is a very simple solution, have all the items unlock while in our home instance. Make our home instances a showroom or store front of sorts. Maybe a vanity type mirror where you can go to activate the feature. This way we can see items live, to run around with them on, and test them. To take it a step further, I wish there was a makeover kit feature in the home instances too. Though again, all this would only be visible while inside that instance. That once you leave the home instance all changes revert back to their previous state. I ask for this because nothing looks exactly as it does in the previews. You have to get the character and items in the environmental lighting to really see what you are getting.
Up until yesterday, this was easy for me. Suddenly that all changed.
If it was last night, for about 3-4 hours after reset, I may be partially to blame. I was racking up wins for the totems. After 22 wins, with only a couple of losses, I hit a wall too. Of course, after that many hours my eye’s were about to fall out of my face! They are still red and irritated today.
I really dislike joining a match that’s in progress with a score of 20/260. Obviously the slots are available because players started rage quitting. It’s a complete waste of our time to be put into a match that we’re all but assured to lose. Losing should earn us something for the time spent. You can’t have winners without losers, right? So, everyone’s time should have value. Just like in sPvP, losing still gives you something.
I know there are players whom listen to music while playing. I listen to the game only too. It would awesome if in the audio tab you had a drop down box that list the zones to play the music from. The Silverwaste has some great music that I actually like listening to.

THAT! That has to be the worst one in game for the creep factor. The OP’s one is certainly in need of “adjusting” too. I want to burn down the Grove right now just to shut that plant up.

No thank you to reverting to the character bound system we used to have. Having to use the bank to constantly shuffle gold across alts was far too aggravating. The wallet we have now is streamlined and convenient. We also know exactly how much gold we have at all times simply by looking in the inventory.
If you are having impulse control issues with making purchases, having the money in the “bank” isn’t going to prevent you from buying. Fix what needs fixing on the inside, not outside.
Now to find more fun things to try with the teleport to a friend stones.
Son of a kitten! You know I have some of them and don’t even remember to use them. I have a level 10 still in the Silverwaste. Just ran a couple of below level 20’s to Orr last week. All this time totally forgetting about these portal stones, oy!

It’s easy for veterans to shrug off a complaints and say “L2P”. Why, because we can’t be mind wiped and forget all that we already know. Just do a simple Key Farm without “our” gear and use the white crud everyone starts with. The game is a much different experience then.
To the OP, as much as I’m defending your position, this does sound like a knowledge issue. Lucky for you, there are SO many players willing to help you on this. Youtube alone has hours of video tutorials on the combats systems and how to do certain content.
Make it simple, have the top bank tab (we all get one with the game) visible in the inventory panel. Open the inventory panel, on the top is the bank tab, below that is all our character inventory bags. It’s just that simple!
Think about it, how much time do players spend standing in front of the bank in DR or back in LA? If you want players spending more time out in the zones playing, remove the need for them to be standing idle for so long.
