I was not defending solo pvp, I was creating an example. Perhaps I should have used 10v20. The point still stands, the group with the most players always wins regardless of skill, therefore rewarding the bad players.
well there is always strength in numbers so, i would call it, rewarding the larger group.
i.e.
“3 stooges can beat 1 Einstein”

Bug:
The bonus Frozen duration is likely not intended. It should most likely be +15% boon duration like Rune of the Monk and Rune of the Water, as it carries the same lesser rune version consistencies as them and caters to a defensive rune set which generally has defensive boons and boon duration.

I would redesign it to have healing power count x2, possibly x3. That would affect all heals and regen and would make it worth it taking healing power as a stat.
Yes, it would create viable “healer builds” but since every class seems to have one such build that in itself would not bring trinity back.
Other than that, I think the base self heal is fine as it is. The heal you give others is too low and does not scale well. No healing power 900 heal – 1K healing power 1600 heal (or thereabouts). With HP pools around 20K this is too low and makes healing power a useless stat. Same with regen – what will 250/sec regen do on a 20K HP pool?
well if the health per second is too much then it would be too powerful.
the point of regeneration is not to make you godlike in combat, but perhaps to run away from danger, avoid taking damage and heal up maybe?
leave self healing alone.
u could make it such that regeneration get extra bonus based on the regen boon receiver’s healing power.

so that is 130 health / second over 5 seconds
total 650 health restored after 5 seconds
but warrior has 1000 healing power
say regeneration gives extra health per second based on the receiver’s healing power as well.
that means extra 125 health per second.
warrior gets 130 + 125 = 255 health per second.
that is 1275 health restored over 5 seconds.
if the necro has 1000 healing power then the warrior gets another 125 health per second.
i.e. 380 health per second
1900 health restored over 5 seconds.
a slight buff. not imbalanced.

but them pets are part of the rangers’ dps / tanking system.

aye, and … what if … warriors are supposed to act as some kind of “finisher” for their team mates?
there was one time, when i was doing tourny with 4 other fellow guild members.
one of them commented that the opposing team’s warrior “delivers”.
my fellow guild member, he was playing a mesmer that time.
i asked what he meant, he said that warrior’s team mates exhausted all his (mesmer, my team and guild member) stun breakers, escapes etc.
then the warrior proceed to finish slice and dice him into pieces.
hence “he delivers”.
i read often that people often complained that warriors have nothing to close the gaps etc …
but … what if … they are not meant to close the gaps by themselves …
but …. let their other profession team members do it.
they just need to close in for the kill.

practice, perfect your build and point out on the forums if you think that the class needs better balancing.
A lot of classes have weak points – for example mesmer doesn’t have a lot of condition removal even though he can send it back to you on some builds. Mesmer doesn’t have any movement speed.
Most thieves build squishy. Build to survive their initial attack and counter it immediately afterwards.

Professions and abilities are diverse in this game, as needed both for a meaningful PvE experience and to make field/finisher nontrivial. Synergies between diverse Professions are essential to “real” PvE games.
Balancing for 1v1 (typically PvP) doesn’t work when classes are diverse, as there will always be cases where class “A” can always beat “B” in a duel. In triad games if A is dps and B is a healer this usually works. But it’s the same if “A” happens to do its damage with conditions and “B” happens to lack enough cure conditions.
When earlier games have tried hard to balance for 1v1, what happens is the classes become homogenized. That ruins the grouped PvE game.
I support ArenaNet’s previously announced decision not to balance for 1v1, and hope it stays that way.
true, but it feels like a lot of “complaints” are coming from people who, did not get what they want in their little 1 vs 1 skirmish?
i.e.
“thief / mesmer always kills me in 1 vs 1”
“i cannot kill thief / mesmer in 1 vs 1, they always ran away”
etc
I simply don’t think that GW2 was not meant for 1v1.
but there are certain professions that could be very hard to put down in a 1 vs 1, such as the thief or mesmer.

yeah the time it takes to kill a champion is longer than those big event bosses but the drops is bad.
The only way to test how skillful you are is to have a 1v1 with a different player.
but i also keep hearing (reading) people say (post) that gw2 is not balanced for 1 vs 1 …

for me, the chest and pants dropped from gold deer boxes.
i tried crafting. did not work.
try guesting around to check the PvE population.
for non T1 NA servers, try guesting in Sea of Sorrows.
the PvE crowd there is still doing okay.
