just added the CHAPEL to the list of room suggestions if any1 else has room suggestions please post them.
I’d say that at least from a forum point of view, the lack of response to this thread after over 1600 views says something. Then again the forums are not a true measure but it gives a clue.
Of course I’ve watched the OP more or less bump this thread once it drops off the front page by responding to much earlier posts in the thread.
dividing veiws by posts is a downright wrong way to measure anything as a long and detailed post like this one is less likely to be read through because ppl l want their info in bite sized bits….more importantly do you have anything to contribute yourself or r we done with this off topic post?
i like the first idea force them to pay their respawn fee the other one is a little bit harsh
I love housing. It adds depth to an MMO and helps players feel more invested in the world. I would like to see it built into some kind of guild system to encourage closer small groups.
Maybe each guild can buy an instance off the main cities or specific areas to make themed guild communities. Let the mega servers sort out what instance you actually see.
btw,
Anet has a staff of 350+ people. I think they can work on more than one thing at a time.exactly anet has plenty of staff and lots of people want an update like this
Not as many as you think. A poll of this forum would show yes but many posters here don’t even play the game, they just come in to whine.
id love to hear your evidence to back any of that up

I would love to see a last log in GW2 on these fourms lol.
The ideal is cool but there would be problems unless you crate OF like zones or your simply going to have an endless set of houses all over a zones. I have a feeling other games are going to run into that problems soon. Soon every thing going to look like the suburbs in thoughts games lol.
i will update the original message to clarify this seeing as people seem to forget that this is a digital world and therefor has the ability to put multiple objects in the exact same spot but these houses would be INSTANCED meaning that you have your own house in the exact same spot everyone else has their house and you can only see your house unless you go to visit someone elses

cuz its super unbalanced and troll players can pick mesmer or thief and ruin the fun for everyone. its tough to be good spirited when jerks can make the game completly one sided
and then theirs POINT DEFENDING
where one tanky person can sit on a point while 2 or 3 people try to kill him and it does nothing, it should be like guild wars 1 where the side with more people generates power to the node
Want housing – go play in the sandbox where PvPers can knock it down and make you start all over.
Considering I JUST posted about developing more social responsibility in gamer, I’d be for this. IF, and it’s a requirement, damaging another individuals “stuff” branded you a criminal. Where your character would be placed in a jail and no other character on the account could be played. Not until restitution’s were paid in full. Essentially, all you could do is log into that one character and walk around a little instanced jail cell. What might also be fun would be using this jail as a wall of shame. Thus, players could see who was in jail. Maybe a rating kept of it too.
i dont think he was being serious
I don’t get the problem. For higher value items, they sell slow, always. Often in days. But if you price it right, it will eventually sell. What would be sold in days will still be sold in days even if someone undercut you.
For low value items, they moves fast, people undercut frequently. But a copper in such case could worth 10% profit. If people choose to earn less, it’s their choice.
If there are many people undercut the item, pushing you back and back and never able to sell, that indicates a large supply. Price drop is inevitable in this case. And your sale order simply became overpriced.
lets get back on track from people’s market advice to the actual issue at hand, i dont care how prices move faster or slower i just want to be able to pick from which seller i buy from, even if i pick the one that is more expensive that should be my choice
well the ability to build structures like walls in wvw would be prity interesting and would allow you to fortify passes and prevent enemy movements. I think any open world building the structures need to be destructible so you have to defend your home against events. Otherwise the entire map would be covered in housing.
i think you missed the point that the house would go to your home instance (or similar instanced area) it doesnt just drop down in the middle of the world
No housing – what a waste. There are plenty of other items that need to be worked on in this game and housing in not a real top priority. In fact, I hope it NEVER is put into the game.
lol iv never heard such a staunch opinion over player owned housing but i am sick of people foolishly saying that anet has “more important things to work on” more important to who? you? thats fine, but not to me…..
I am talking redoing the engine so it doesn’t chug in WvW – more optimizations. DX11 would be nice also. I would prefer guild halls and a GvG tournament but that will be hard as this is not an instanced game like GW1 and you need plenty of room for all those halls. Fix all the armor clipping. Some new areas to explore. A new WvW arena or two. I think that is more important than housing……
I feel housing is a waste because this is NOT a sandbox game. What does it get us – that we don’t already have looking at the character screens, etc? NOTHING. I know, ‘OH LOOK – I built my own house’ – Sorry no. Where would you put all these houses?
Want housing – go play in the sandbox where PvPers can knock it down and make you start all over.
lol sorry not a single thing u mentioned as a suggestion is even slightly interesting to me as an update. my wvw doesnt lag i dont care about guilds or guild halls and i have no idea what this dx nonsense is im not a tech head.
what do we get out of housing? we get a new avenue of gold sink for the economy (which desperatley needs it) a new way to spend tme that ISNT combat related and a new way to socialize with friends or the community in general with house parties and most important to me we FINALLY get a way to show off our wealth, oh sure u can wield one expensive skin at a time but that just tells people you bought one skin, how am i to show off the giant crystal throne i built for 5k? how r ppl gana know i have 3k gold in teh bank?
i dont know what “a sandbox game” is and i dont care, i want housing in THIS game, because i like THIS game if that means i want this to become a sandbox game…then so be it.
No housing – what a waste. There are plenty of other items that need to be worked on in this game and housing in not a real top priority. In fact, I hope it NEVER is put into the game.
you’re right, i would actually prefer guild housing. but player housing would be cool too.
i hope hes not he wants NO housing at all….
i want my dervish and paragon and ritualist. i dont care atall for some wird man obsessed with covering himself in dead animals

i wuda felt it more if they had killed off a few main characters (ellen kiel plz) or perhaps 1 of those 2 “ladies”……nobody likes either of them….u almost had it when majory was injured at the end i was rooting for scarlet on that one…..oh well i guess next time we can hope that maybe taimi’s golem catches on fire and she cant get out from inside it
sorry but this thread is kinda pointless, putting up with people who dont wana do things your way is part of life, and i have doubts that he was intentionaly “trolling” you or w/e its called these days. people have a tendancy to apply malicious intent to anything they dont like
I bought a house in RL last year and have been increasing my personal home building skill this last year. Because of this, I find this idea intriguing. The part that interests me the most is the furniture building. The furniture provides utility and storage space beyond the current normal capacity of food and the bank. In addition, tools such as a crafting table or mystic forge could be placed in the home.
I like the idea of a teleport device in the home. Ideally it provides a slightly less costly way to move around the world map. In addition, it provides a way to move back to a home location, which loads faster than a city, to work on crafting and storage after running around the world for the day.
Also, being an engineer, I like the idea of designing and building stuff that I can take pride in.
yea the furniture is my favorite part too, i get an unreasonably big sense of satisfaction from building a silly wooden chair and then a few levels later deleting it and replacing it with a cushioned wooden chair and then deleting that and replacing it with a cushioned wooden chair with gold trim! so what if iv lost 20g in the process it was worth it =p
You should try the Sims, it sounds like it would be a perfect fit for you.
if the sims wants to add collecting and selling of gear through dungoens and world bosses with the collecting of weapon and armor skins then im all game
but guild wars 2 needs a skill like this anyway, not for me, but for the economy, we need a place to dump our gold
There is already a place to dump gold – aesthetics. I’ve crafted 4 legendaries, and those t6 mats and precursors aren’t cheap.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve nothing against player housing, I’m sure I’d participate if it was added, it should just be a super low priority compared to other new content, such as zones, dungeons, wvw/pvp. What is currently out there is rather stale for a lot of people, and player housing is not going to fix that.
it is not a dump for gold if the gold goes back into the economy, also most players are not interested in legendaries as the price does not match the reward and i cant even see a legendary.
and while its totally an opinion id prefer new skills to more of the same old same old….and i mean “skills” not “combat skills”….ukno what i mean….probally….
I am sorry, but I just have to ask, how can You (Anet) even consider your current RNG as a working one, when you can have 1 person in the course of 1 year to get 20 precursors, and yet 10 000 ppl to have non. How can there be hundreds of ppl killing Tequatl the Sunless, withouth getting a single ascended chest, and at the same time 1 person, killing Tequatl for 1 month to get 3 of his special skin weapon boxes. How can ppl run Fractals at highest levels on a daily basis only to end up with a Ring at best, and at the same time someone casually doing lvl 20ish to get a skin or ascended weapon just like that…
Puzzels me every time i log in and find stuffs like that.
p.s. I do have a friend with 20 precursors, and a friend who got 3 Tequatl weapons boxes, 2 of wich in 2 weeks, and another 400 in a guild that have nothing of sort… so those are real examples…
everything you just said is EXACTLY how this “rng” as u like to call it, is supposed to work, its RANDOM and RANDOM means that you get things RANDOMLY based on statistics, can one person get 20 pre cursors in a year? its possible, its unlikely but possible, i got 3 exotics in a row today from 3 champion boxes? likely to happen? no, possible? yes . thats how its supposed to work, statistics dont gaurantee things will happen, they simply say they can happen and might happen at this time. your complaint is founded on nothing more than a lack of understanding for statistics

+1 and I totally agree with that idea
it doesnt tell me how many pluses i have but still =)
I dont mean to look super-wise or anything, but I’d suggest to move a few steps back from this exact issue.
What is undercutting? Its ‘a tool to make money’ could be one definition. Is it the only tool by which people make money on the TP? No. Its the most obvious, but not the only one. And whats the problem with it? Many feel that if others use this tool, it prevents them from making money or lowers their profits. But there are many other ways to make money on the TP. If you want to prevent people from using the 1c undercut routine, then – along the same lines – you should implement other regulation to prevent hoarding, flipping, placing buy orders, etc. too. Just because those other tools are not so obvious, they still have their effects on the economy.
Second thing is, if you introduce a new system, it will have different kind of ‘flaws’ (or rather tricks). Which will be used by the smarter part of the gw2 community again – putting the average Joe in disadvantage.
When it comes to fracs or high-end tpvp, no1 complains that ‘I should be up there with the greatest’. Or ‘you should let me do this lvl 46 frac with you guys, even though I only have green armor and have no clue about the fights’. Still when it comes to using the TP, everyone – regardless of knowledge and invested effort – demands the same trading potential as the hardcore traders. And then comes the argument ‘But they make 50-200g a day and they spend hours @ TP. I just drop in, list my stuff in 2 minutes and only want to make a few gold.’ Its the same as saying ‘I dont pvp a lot, just a few minutes a day. But in that five minutes I want to have the same potential as … (your favourite player’s name).
Imho ‘fixing’ this undercutting issue would not solve a thing. If you dont invest money, dont do your homework, and dont spend time @ the TP; you wont make a lot of money. Simple as that. In every other area of the game, its quite obvious to people and they dont complain (that much —> ‘nerf thiefz asap’
). I just dont get it, why it bothers peeps when it comes to the TP.
per your first point i dont think simplifying it to say that all money making methods are related and should be attacked because other methods are flawed is very logical. hoarding i like because it implies that an item is valuable and prestigious rather than everything being the same and that will be the death of gw2 just like it was gw1, every item did the same thing who cares if its a slightly different shade of green i cant make any unique use of it. so prices collapsed into standing in kamadan and shouting what u wanted which was always too much because the consumer didnt really want the item THAT much anyways…..which was too bad. so going after those other methods is pointless not only because they arnt as related as you say but also because those other ones arnt having the same effects
second point is irrelivent because we arnt introducing a new system we are making one tiny change to the turrent system, a change so small it doesnt even prevent undercutting just provides a bit of a choice in the matter for the buyer. if you think someone is going to find away around choice i would be suprised, but doing nothing just because “it probaly isnt perfect anyways” is not a solution (imperfect solution fallacy)
the rest of your post goes on to compare undercutters as some kind of skilled and talented TP player, i dont aggree anyone can do it and most do it without thought or hesitation because it has no consequences, atleast in the short term. what it does do is make cheap items cheaper and keep expensive items expensive. i saw an undercut on an aetherized pistol skin yesterday for 420g to 419 99 99, who is that helping? nobody, and the person who listed it is just a jerk not a skilled market tactician, a jerk.
No.
/15CharrWarband
no what =p?
This has been suggested I one form or another in several threads the only way this can remotely work is. If they sold plots of in game land in the gem store unfortunately this idea and type of in game housing takes a lot of server space and they would have to pay for the added servers some how, i f you ever ran a Minecraft server then you know what I’m taking about.
runescape did it and they have over 200 million accounts created i think little ol anet can handle the added server size if that is even true
Don’t forget a nice little garden and forest for your daily collectors. Not only metals things we still need trees and fruits.
Wonderfull ideas, but I would be glad first becoming a small house i can outfit myself. A mayor Game change must be made for sleeping and sitting on chairs, beds etc. Don’t think it’s really easy to do.
i thought about a garden but then i got to thinking about a farming skill and eventually said that it belonged in its own seperate skill that might mix in with this one.
i think sitting in chairs is an easy enough thing to do it just involves manipulating the character model the way that emotions do except with a physical object touching the animation at the same time, i mean the chair doesnt even have to move.
i was hoping to turn the home instance into an actual home with like a build your own house construction skill that goes from lv 1 with a shabby wooden shack to lv 500 with a marble blocked castle with banquet halls, display cases for your weapons and yes….trees =p
I agree i have hoped this for long time myself
oh then you might like my new thread in discussion forum “new building skill and player owned houses”
I’d much rather they give us Guild Halls and GvG. We don’t need player housing because we already have our “Home Instance”. Now, some of these suggestions could be used as Guild Upgrades once we do get Guild Halls. In GW we had to buy everything but the Xunlia Agent(Banker), so being able to use Influence to create things for our respective Guild Halls would be great, maybe even allow the Guild Leader to designate certain types of upgrades to members.
the economy needs gold sinks, also im not that interested in having a hall that i have to share with other people id rather have my own, face it guilds r not a big part of guild wars 2 and im fine with that

i disagree this gamed oesnt really have its rare expensive content and it should, i dont even like the molten gauntlets unlocking all 3 (it clearly says therwise on the item description) not to mention i hate them re releasing seasonal LS items that some ppl actually worked hard to get (not that i didnt take advantage of this and unlock some new things for myself but i feel bad for the people who got them all and i myself am mad that isee ppl with things previously only i had)
where is the prestige? the rarity? the effort? the struggle? where is guild wars 2"s blue party hat?
thanks if you have any thing to add like a new room id love to hear it
i literally just made a thread about this in SIGNIFICANT detail in this exact same forum not an hour ago its right next to yours on first page
Lol, really? I’m sorry I didn’t notice that. : (
yea its called “new building skill and player owned houses” please take a look and tell me what you think/ your suggestions
DUNGEON
im excited for this room becuase it would add a huge dynamic aspect to houses, it could be pvp and pve at once or just one or the other. but it would be full of traps that you build yourself, some player activated and some automatic, aswell as monsters that you buy and place. dungeons can also have treasure rooms that can be filled with different types of chests, low leveled chests need to be filled with rewards by the house owner but high leveled chests can also give unique and impressive new weapons/armor or house materials
DUNGEON HALLWAYS
just like regular house hallways but not filled with decorative stuff. bones and skulls can be used to make ambient skeletons and blood vials of all sizes can be used with walls to make blood smears of varying sizes but thats it for decoration. TRAPS: floor spikes-made with steel bars and clockwork- these spring out of the ground when you walk over them. WALL SPIKES made with clockwork mechanisms and many more steel bars and activated by switches these spikes deal much more damage and come out of the walls crushing and impaling other players. TRAPDOORS made out of wood and watchwork mechanisms these can be automatic or switch controlled and open a door to a pit of water (or spikes) that the player will have to jump back to the top of to get out, water can be filled with sharks, baracuda, or a new disembodied tentacle monster! FULL DARK TRAP made from runes of the sunless and grenth runes this causes a section of the dungeon to go totally black and cause damage to anyone who walks into it without a torch.
TREASURE ROOM
just like other dungeon rooms and of varying sizes can be filled with some boss monsters both unique and from other areas of the game
i literally just made a thread about this in SIGNIFICANT detail in this exact same forum not an hour ago its right next to yours on first page
i decided im not making a new character (even tho i really want to) until a new race is made i heard tengu r coming i hope this is true i dont wana wait years
PET ROOM
i wasnt sure about this one but it might be a nice spot to keep all of your bets but it begs the question are houses account bound or soulbound? id say account bound because of all the money you would put in them. they could simply be accessed from any home instance. ANYWAY pet rooms would contain a variety of different enviornments (again the size of your pet room depends on your level and if you want to buy the bigger rooms) and you can keep all your unlocked pets (and mini pets maybe?) in this room so you can visit them all at once, you can also build habitats and houses for them like ponds and rock huts and plant trees for birds to roost in, maybe even raise new unique pets from infancy to the age of fighting at your side.
CHAPEL
a room to show off your faith, it has space for lavish carpets down the center and pews on each side (pretty much all sitting furniture follows the same pattern of wood→higher teir wood→even higher tier wood with gold trim→highest teir wood with gold trim and jewels) and pillars around the edge of the room (stone first then fancier stone then marble, then marble with gold trim, then crystal and then colored crystal) stained glass wyndows can also be made although i cant think of how we would get the glass, maybe glass could be a purchasable item and it would require unid dyes in the creation of the windows. the most important piece of this room is the altar, you can pick from any of the human gods, the flame legion’s fire gods, bear wolf and raven norn spirits and the asura’s grand alchemy. altar’s start out as cheap and ugly and finally work their way up to beautiful places of power. praying at a fully upgraded altar lets you sacrifice 4 weapon/ armor skins for a chance at getting one back just like the MF but here you also have a chance of getting a new set of skins based on which god the altar is aligned to! one full set for each god (i know thats a little ambitious) depending on which god the altar is aligned to the room will change. like banners for the god will hang down and the stained glass will show different images.

so this is my idea for a new skill (1-500) for a skill that lets you build your own home. we need a skill like this because every skill in the game so far is very much the same just with different output, just stand still and craft over and over. this building skill will allow us to produce our own customized works of art and benefit from them with skills and buffs aswell as show off our acheivments with portraits and display cases for our weapons.. of course all building requiers materials and each thing you build will draw on resources you have gathered and bought in new ways, ensuring that old items get used more often and popular items have new uses.
HOW TO GET STARTED? the home npc
outside of every home instance will be a new building npc. they will sell basic supplies that cant be gotten anywhere else like all skill npc such as nails, room contracts (allow you to add another room) and more. this NPC will also toggle your house from public to private and visa versa (u cannot build while your house is in public) the most important feature of this NPC will be the social aspect, u can talk to them to join a friend’s house or join a random player’s house (u cannot enter a house that is in private mode) you can also pay for advertising which would bump your house way to the top of the random join quere and have big house parties!
this skill would also invovle alot of new exotic crafting materials like diamonds and marble blocks and stone blocks and a few new ascended for the 400 to 500 stuff such as ether nails and crystal blocks
the following is a list of concept ideas for different types of rooms and what would go in them please feel free to add your own suggestions
HALLWAYS
this is your standard connective room, its cheap to build and it comes in many shapes to suit whatever needs u have, corner, long or just a simple square ect ect. hallways would be filled with your bragging rights and decorative features, lets start with the floors first. CARPETSS strictly decorative, from lv 1 where you just stitch a few of those salvagable animal plets together to around level 50 or so where you start making them out of wool to intricate design patterns (maybe made with insignias?) around level 200 and gold trimmed gossamer carpets at 400, and at 500 a series of god carpets that display your affection for your diety. PICTURE FRAMES pictures need two things, a picture and a frame (duh) you comission the picture from a painter and you build the frame yourself, you can make varying levels of frames based on your level but the pictures require certain acheivments, for example you can get a picture frame of the loading screen for a map if you have 100% completed it. you can also comission an expensive portrait of yourself in your current armor! DISPLAY CASES this is where you show off your stuff and your wealth. display cases can have suits of armor and weapons but you cannot place a transmuted weapon in the case and there is no way to get it back even if you destroy the case. at higher levels you can build bigger cases where you can display an entire set of weapons (of the same skin set) you can also build display cases with luck to show off your 300 magic find and other cases to show off completing every jumping puzzle
DINING ROOM/BANQUET HALL
this is where you eat food and lay out food for your guests, it also has a fire place and various sword/shield displays on the walls. the higher your level the bigger and longer you have the option of making this room till it eventually becomes a grand throne room. the throne is the most expensive thing in this room and can start off made of just wood and fabric like silk around level 250 (when a dining room first becomes a banquet hall) and to stone and gold around 350 and to gem encrusted marble by 450 and finally a glowing crystal masterpiece by 500.
LIBRARY
full of books as you might expect, but also maps and orbital displays and star charts and a teleporter chamber. books shelves store knowledge of your adventures and random statistics about your character such as how many rare items you have gotten as drops, but building high level book shelves can produce a tome of knowledge generator which will leave you with tomes of knowledge on your bookshelves every once in a while. also a rare book focus skin and rolled up map as a sword can be found in them also (rare). maps show you where you can go and building larger more ornate maps will let you select teleport destinations for your teleport room (which can take you certain distances based on how advanced a teleporter you build (im thinking teleporters will be made with various wood at low levels then stone/crystal at high levels and at all levels require some ecto) your probaly thinking “why we have waypoints” but teleporters would have exclusive destinations that cant be reached from waypoint…..maybe even a new explorable area only available to high level builders? hmmmm?
what we need is more gold sinks as all MMO do, because inflation is a constant problem, i think the best solution is a series of new skills that involve buying LARGE amounts of materials from npc and constructing them in a way that is satisfying yet has ZERO return profit…..sounds ridiculous you say? well it does without context! im thinking of a construction skill where you build your own house and spend OODLES of money doing it, it could go in the home instance and go from lv 1 being a shabby wooden shack with few benefits to lv 500 an enormous mansion with its own unique teleports and dungeons with unique monsters (and unique drops) and a fireplace/ banquet table where you can distribute food/legs and aquire strong buffs
i was hoping to turn the home instance into an actual home with like a build your own house construction skill that goes from lv 1 with a shabby wooden shack to lv 500 with a marble blocked castle with banquet halls, display cases for your weapons and yes….trees =p
You’re thinking too much chalky. If you’ve listed at 2g, and the 5 people undercutting you list at 1g80s, 1g60s, 1g40s, 1g20s, and 1g, if none of them, including the lowest offer, have sold within a week, you’re either in a very very slow market (slower than precursors), or all 6 of you listed at prices too high. The same holds true if the price was 1/10th of the example, or 1000 times the example.
you cannot say they are listing too high maybe the sellers are listing for too low as is frequently the case in markets for weapon skins. telling them they listed for too high implies they should have known in advance what is going to happen, its like telling someone who got hit by a car “you were in the wrong place” really? even if they were on the sidewalk? in just hte same way dropping your price by a reasonable amount is like bieng on the sidewalk, noone can fault you for that, the problem is our economy driven totally by auctions
well with today’s update you can now effectively sell anything at any price that you want. Just list it at what you think is the proper price and it will sell to the highest buy order and the buyer will be refunded the difference.
This is a win win situation cause the OP can now sell at any price he deems correct and he can finally let this thread die, and everyone else can go back to not caring that much about undercutting in a free market
yea the patch has absolutly nothing to do with the topic of this thread, it has no impact at all and i have next to no opinion on it.
Thats because a patch that will implement your suggested changes will never go live.
your so sure of yourself but aslong as i have you to keep bumping this thread for me im sure it will get all the publicity it needs
if somebody wants them and cant get them they become prestigious, works of art are never appreciated while the artist is alive and nobody ever realizes their girlfriend isnt a worthless loon till shes kicked u out the door. value increases with absence
Point is, you shouldn’t be able to make mistakes that cost huge sums of money like this without any warning/confirmation screens. It’s like deleting a character or a legendary: irreversible, with a huge impact. How would you like it if there was no confirmation screen on deleting a character?
Because money you can go back out and earn. Characters and Legendaries, basically anything Rare quality and higher, you simply cant go back out and earn most of the time.
…..no…..these are literaly the exact same things…a legendary IS money and money is money that can buy a legendary…..they can both be bought back….
….what a bunch of ingrates, is it really such an end of the world feature to add a small warning saying “price to high” or something….shees
Yes. I want devs to not waste their time with trivial features.
^this guy is always on about “not waisting the devs time” we dont even know if the devs have the same team for designing content vs changing UI but htat doesnt stop him!
seriously tho this is a slippery slope, we dont need the features because it slows down gameplay (not because it waists dev time) because if we give in to this unneccisary request we have a bunch of others and before you know it its “are you sure you want to doge roll” and iv already been over that one
Umh. Prestigious item? Something sold in the gem store for a small amount of gems and later removed is not a thing anyone should feel bragging worth.
Since the other, uglier, sunglasses are for sale, why not these too?
throws baseball
i like the idea of a construction skill so much for gw2 that i think il write a full developed idea in a few weeks on this forum so be on the lookout for that
im always in favor of more gold sinks….how about a skill that lets us build our own instanced house that takes TONS of materials to build rooms filled with chairs and furniture and bookcases that give tomes of knowledge once per day and giant marble fireplaces that i can throw more logs into to get buffs for myself and an in house combat arena for dueling and armor/weapon stands to sink all ur weapon sets into so you dont immediatley throw them into the exchange. and a dungeon where you could buy monsters to keep down there for combat events with your friends…..all of this would be SUPER EXPENSIVE of course….
oh sure lets just take every prestigious item that was already releeased and bring it back because a few people want it. nevermind all the people who already have it and dont want it released again, nevermind the sacredness of a rare and exclusive item, nevermind that hte content has already moved on and is no longer relevent. nevermind all these neverminds because iv had enough of them now lets move on to metaphor time.
commence the metaphor:
its like if im maybe oh i duno playing a game of baseball which would never happen cuz i have about as much coordination as the cat thats sitting on homeplate which is where im standing so im not sure how we can both occupy the same physical space at the same time but nevermind that ( i did promise to be through with the neverminds so i apoligize for that one). and anyway i decide to pick the cat up and move it off the field but everyone else is already playing baseball, ud think they would have noticed the cat and removed it earlier but for some reason PLAYBALL now im getting baseballs pelted at me while i try to move this cat off the feild and oh god they hurt who is pitching for these kids labron james (i know dont say it) theres baseballes everywehre was this cat evenworth it? oh forget this stupid cat nevermind (ha) that its a living thing im just gana punt it over the fence and get back to the game. now ur probaly wondering how ur sungalsses come into this, well idk maybe the cat was wearing sunglasses, sounds like a pretty cool cat, although i wudnt envy him there was a road on the other side of that fence and a big truck was coming but get over it its a metaphor it doesnt need to literally have sunglasses in it the point is stop asking for items that are discontinued or il throw baseballs at you
HAH clearly the OP has not looked at the right side of her own picture, there is clearly a purple flower on that chick’s back, i know i saw it, i dont see it right now because iv scrolled down to write this message but i know what i saw! i coudl scroll back up to see it again, or i could just tell u i scrolled back up to see it again and you woudlnt know the difference because these are just words!…….ok there i did it (snicker) and it was definatley a purple flower. so there are only 2 possibilities
1. theirs a purple flower in the game
2. anet leaked this picture in advance of an update that lets us dye ALL of our gear, which would be nice cuz then there would already BE a pruple flower i the game….and a pink one….and a glacial sky and a deep glacial sky and a prosperity, which would be alot uglier then the yellow one which already exists and a deep glacial teal and a (say whats this guys hang up on deep glacial…SHUT UP ITS ALL I CAN REMEMBER). oh no it isnt, tungsten! but tequatl is gana spawn soon and we are getting off topic so lets get back on topic to the original point, i know what i saw! that flower was purple! i mean it would be a wasit for anet to release a seperate flower in every color rather than just let us dye the one single back peice every color under the bridge (doesnt he mean sun) no i like bridges they dont burn my skin!
some people like myself are neurotic about “never running out of consumables” and it drives me up a wall to use an item that will run out if i havnt made absolutly certain (im serious i have graphs and charts and calculators and protractors and an advanced spreadsheet program called spss) that i am using the item to maximize efficency.
with the unlimited tools neurotic fools like me can throw out all that silly math stuff and just hammer away at rocks without thinking about it like a frat boy wearing a lampshade on his head and ramming the aformentioned head into a television. the lampshade presumably doesnt have unlimited charge and he didnt pay gems for it but you see what im saying…..right? right?
yea its totally the fault of ppl who refuse to pay for gems , u sould be able to drop 20 dollars on the gem store once a year or so its not that big a deal
