Viktor was a warrior though. It’s not because the Kurzick use his ashes as relic, that he had anything to do with it.
It’s still part of his legacy and would be irreplaceable in his kit.
Or do you mean to suggest that Jalis could make roads out of nothing and summon flying hammers. Hell, even the Rite of the Great Dwarf doesn’t stem from his natural talents – it’s merely a part of his legacy and his ultimate choice.
Jalis was nothing more than a generic warrior mechanically. Ventari didn’t even fight. The goal of a legend’s kit is to build a theme around that character, not to directly port their former abilities.
And why is this? It’s because a legend isn’t just a person. It evolves with their lives and expands with their deaths as their stories are told.
The fact remains that we know a lot about Jalis and Ventari, but nothing about Viktor and Archemorus, other than that they were heroes to their people and both stabbed Shiro with one of his blades. There is little lore-wise to work with.
I hope you don’t mind me saying, but your question is a bit of a silly one.
Who are we to tell you what you should be enjoying? You should know what you enjoy playing most, and make it work.
If you enjoy Necromance most, then play Necromancer. Don’t force yourself into something you don’t enjoy because of other’s opinions.
My thought is that talk is cheap. I might get excited if I see what this is actually going to be.
At least, more things to do is always better I suppose.
Dungeons i believe, 20 per path per day.
Or a couple in jumping puzzle chests.

A heads up: You’d best remove those names because public shaming is not tolerated on the forum.
I also think they should have had it the unlimited use hatchets have been the thing to drop those things from the trees and not just any old tools, those things that people farm in Malchors leap, I forget what they are called.
Can’t do, cause that would be P2W. They could make some have an additional chance to drop Foxfire clusters, but not make it exclusive to gem store items.
The watchwork pick is still an anomality. How do they expect anyone to use other picks, if one clearly gives a large advantage over the others?
Which is why I said they’d get more money out of me, specifically
^ what he says then.
Well this got very dark, very quickly
O.o
You know, they’d get more money out of me by making the unlimited tools as an account unlock for all toons, but with buy-able skins for those tools .
I’d like different harvesting animations on different toons, but I’m not going to buy more tools for it.
after 63 views and counting apparently no one does, I apologize to all those kitten by this but heavy should easy beat light classes regardless of build. OR op profession.
Alas, I don’t speak gibberish.
That’s not lazy, that’s risky.
Also, I’ll have my frivolous stuff over a second job thank you very much.
Viktor was a warrior though. It’s not because the Kurzick use his ashes as relic, that he had anything to do with it.
‘Fiery’ weapons you ask?
There’s a sword skin from the hall of monuments (requires a link with Guild Wars (1)):
Fiery Dragon Sword
There’s also a blue version which you can make in the Mystic Forge:
Jormag’s Breath
Then there’s a fiery greatsword which can drop from champion bags:
Cobalt
At one point you could get the skins from Fused weapons from Black lion tickets. They are currently retired:
Fused weapon skins
The dungeon version you can get from the Citadel of Flame is:
Molten Weapons
Then there’s the legendary dagger Incinerator:
Incinerator
Those are some I can think of immediately.
TL;DR
‘Nice’ Weapons can come from:
Rare drops from bosses or champion bags;
Dungeon tokens reward;
Gem store skins;
Mystic Forge recipes.

I’m glad I got the insignia at the very least. That one’s a Keeper.
Well I’m no expert, but I’d say they’ve become better in PvE at least. I mean, that’s what the split was all about wasn’kitten to make it better against PvE enemies.
Yes you can. I know this out of experience as I completed the story mode before the personal story sent me there. Thus having to do it twice.
While I would love Archemorus and Saint Viktor, there’s very little to go on to make them thematic.
Well at least I’d love Kuunavang, with celestial skills, and Oola with some golem abilities.
And the “All Things Have a Right to Grow” one doesn’t seem like it’d hold any lasting influence since the Zalisco Extract possibilities was never seen in the Zhaitan plot.
Well no, they weren’t. But at the very least this story line introduced the concept of Sylvari twins, born from the same pod. Could be lovely RP’ing material.
It’s not the berserking aspect I find difficult, it’s the sudden and temporary giantism it causes. Considering Engineers trigger this state by ingesting some sort of elixir, I assume Warriors do it magically.
That sounds very unlikely to me. Obviously Caithe’s secret is out of the bag now, ending LS2. But the thing is, knowing what they knew back then, why on earth didn’t they send a squad of wardens along with him, to verify the location and nature of the other tree.
It might even not have been to late to get some sort of control over them.
On the topic of Canach, the end cinematic shows him being attacked by what I assume to be Seraph (distinct Seraph sword in the scene) while protecting some sort of building. So I assume this is in Divinity’s Reach. He’s likely reporting to Anise when the great conversion happens, but does not seem affected. Then again, Canach does seem to have great willpower.
Either way, he’ll probably team up with us as staying in any major city would be very difficult for any Sylvari by then.
Alternatively you can walk there.
You can unlock everything your profession has to offer at level 80 and there is really no reason not to do so.
Whenever you ‘level’ past lv80, you will now receive a spirit shard, which can be used at the Mystic Forge to buy materials. Pretty much like your excess skill points were before.
You will find your spirit shards in your wallet.
Traherne will be the final boss.
I guess this won’t end well after all then.
What I find refreshing is that the OP actually thinks the game will last long enough to get to the ‘final boss’.
It’s the little things in life, like that.
Just dont buy it, it’s the only way anet will listen to us.
That ship has sailed, i’m sure. I think they’ve sold quite a nice number already.
I always have some teleportation guns in my inventory. They come in handy at times, if only for the jump.
Half of the reason for craft-able backslot items was to promote crafting. Making them buy able defeats the purpose.
Well that depends on how long the OP has been playing, but yes, likely.
Alas, the doppelganger has already been implemented in the living story, so that’s not very likely.
If you wait until release day, the only thing you miss out on is the beta weekends and a title. The cosmetic items will probably still be available in the gem store.
Final boss?
Zomorros. His special skill will be utilizing every weapon ever thrown into the Mystic Forge. Gilgamesh from Fate/Stay style.
J’approuve!
Come to think about it, why did Caithe or the Pale Tree let him go back anyway. If both knew that the Sylvari, as a race, were dragon minions all along, and Malyck confirmed he had no dream, then they basically let him go back to tell the dragon all about their location and organisation.
My partner was discussing this with me this weekend and had a good idea imo.
Allow the Revenant a utility bar by not being attuned to a legend. This should of course mean that the legends themselves should provide some sort of bonus while being channeled, otherwise there is little incentive to lock your utility to that legend.
I find it very difficult to explain the Rampage elite, without the use of magic to be honest. Engineers use an elixir to get into this state, but warriors seem to do it by themselves.
Probably because the place is annoying as heck and the rewards are appalling.
Yes I too have finally hit the end of my quartz reserves.
I’d hold on to them at least till HoT, you never know what they’ll be useful for.
But then again, I’m a hoarder, so I’ll probably hold on to them after that too.
It is simply not fair! My dreams are being crushed!
Why can’t I make my bald female warrior in monk outfit called Alesia Baptiste?
Spirit shards also drop as loot from trash mobs. I’ve had a few. But you gotta pay attention to the loot bar to spot them.
Survey says there’s a 50% chance your Revenant is going to have a flower in her hair.
It would be a cool idea to make the lvl of loot items to follow the downscaling lvl instead of the actual lvl. Only problem would be doing world bosses but maybe they can be flagged to drop the real lvl loot.
Example if I go to a lvl 30 place as lvl 80 I would get lvl 30 loot.
Anet what you think of that?
This is exactly why those bags of masterwork items are a fantastic thing. Open those puppies with low level characters to get low level items to salvage, if you so desire.
You should actually calculate the amount of ascended materials you will need, and consider that you can only craft one of each a day yourself. So unless you’re going to buy the mats, I think they will be the bigger time gate in your plans.
Are the augur’s stones really your biggest impediment right now? My head is getting dizzy thinking about all the ascended mats you’re going to need…
Well to play along in your fantasy, you could run fractals for shards and occasional armor box drops, saving out on one stone for every drop.
I think experimentation will be key. From what I’ve heard, we’ll get plenty of equipment to make several sets. So go nuts, I’d say.
That knife cuts both ways.
Mistakes do happen, but sometimes we just have to live with them. The point is that they do not cause permanent damage, because in the end you will always level out everything.
Honestly, I hate ground targeting, in general.
I think all ground targeting AOEs should be changed to NPC/player targeted AOEs.
No thank you. I rather enjoy a well placed AoE that hits a maximum of targets.
From the trading post, and I paid like 30G or something.
Oh, The Chosen, how unpopular you were 2 years ago.
You can unlock everything by simply being lv80 Menadena, they did change that actually. All skill challenges only serve to speed up your unlocks, at least until HoT comes around.
