in wvw fights, its hard not to lol, even with the lazer scope pointing at you, you cant have endurance up ALL of the time. but speaking of pvp or 1v1 then well. i dunno. also its hard to see the orange beam in some locations, especially desert borderlands

funny stuff, and spvp is meant to be balanced…i know this is all new stuff, but come on! theres a screen shot with a 107k deaths judgment, even if everyone carried that dmg with buff’s vulnerability mights ect, i have never seen anything else reach even a fraction of that dmg.

u get a free steal now on a successful dodge if u run acro and use swindlers equilibrium

down side the free steal will go on 20 sec cool down no matter what if u dodge a attack even if u have not used your steal yet so u really need to open with steal than dodge if u want to make use of it :S—- can feel pretty clunky if u don’t

probably easier to just use daredevil but the extra steal can lead to some nice combos with improvisation and extra damage from mug , u can steal loads of boons with bountiful theft – or if u go condi get some extra confusion with bewildering ambush

Well after the Update I’ve seen a lot more sword thieves than usual in WvW at least, and the ports on Sword builds are pretty much endless thanks to IS.

But yeah, play Thief for a spin. Best way to learn is by doing.

Lucky you, in Our MU B bay are still full of d/d condi spammers and the odd power thief but thats still d/p.

Actually this stabi remove bug is not new, warriors tend to be immune for steal, but a relog solves the problem for me

thats the trait “last stand” the daze CC will be immune because the trait procs before the cc, i dunno why though

Yea if they don’t fix this then it is a clear nerf imho and doesn’t synergize with the thief playstyle at all

a nerf? how so? i just stole into a guy in wvw, stole 3 boons from bountiful theft then evaded his attack, and then I used steal into him again and stole another 3 boons, not to mention double mug/slight of hand. only improvisation has an internal CD, most steal traits do not.

balance reasons. guardains are core to wvw. our guards run commanders/pvt gear and yet they are nearly top dps vs power reapers and beserker warriors. for it not cele revs or reapers.(a freind had dps app thing and guards were nealy always top dps)

i stopped playing beserker for this reason, although core warrior was still pretty viable in temrs of roaming. not sure how much of a gap is compare to DD and core thief. will go back to Da/acro/tri for a starters.

I just roam to kitten off other servers. I claim every single camp/tower I can. I want them to know where I am. That is the fun part for me. I may die eventually but that is ok. Waypointing is free and so are repairs. You will know you have done your job right when they bring a big group for one person.

You guys can put whatever label or justification you want on it, but chasing down players that don’t want a 1v1 because they aren’t speced for it and u get no reward for it seems like bullying to me. It barely helps out your server and then the rest of the time I see roamers standing around in an open field waiting for people to come along. Seems like they want pvp where they stand little chance of losing.

Roamers are simply seeking unfair matchups and little else.

i thought you said previously that you are a knowledgeable player and yet you are labelling gankers as roamers. the example I gave was a few people built for small scale fighting/roaming standing in the way between spawn and their defended t3 keep. we are not chasing them but in fact they are coming to us (there is more then 1 entrance to bay btw) roamers can actually win keep fights just by starving the zerglings thats going back to the keep because they died in the first place for what ever reason, yet they are also called bullys lol. thats where the enermy server should get their own “bullys” to fight the others.

are 40 person zerg bullys as well for chasing of 3 roamers at a camp/sentry?

Am I still a bully if I genuinely roam to look for other solo roamers (and because when I come home from work all my guildies/friends are asleep on the other side of the world)? Didn’t know playing a game mode as intended (war zone) where defeating your enemy makes you a bully. I feel terrible, I should probably uninstall the game and end my life.

I dunno, If u like chasing people who clearly don’t want to 1v1 and aren’t geared or speced for it, then maybe? I always feel like roamers can’t handle the minimal amount of fairness that is put into spvp, so they go to wvw instead to have a huge advantage.

on the other hand, our zerg is attacking enemy home t3 bay, and there is a mass fight inside, small scale roamers don’t belong in that fight, so stopping enermy zerglings returning back to defend their bay is legit play and not “bullying (lol)”

1# can we have the ability of using dyes while browsing armour/outfit’s via bank wardrobe please.

2# can you at least put sunspear outfit in the wardrobe so people can preview it on their toons – will probably also further make more profit if people actually like said outfit with the dye combo they desire.

if weapon skills cost no energy then I can spam 7-10k cor and spam a whole party condI clear + reactance skill at will with out any issues.

All weapon skills has cooldowns, so you can’t spam them. Only thiefs can spam their skills.
Even all of yours legend skills got cooldowns, and no one asks to remove the cooldowns from them.
We just trying to say that cooldowns (like all professions) AND energy cost (like thiefs) is too much.

at 4 second recharge (use to be 2) is borderline spamming.

They should nerf bet dmg by 30%. But hey they like passives like condies and pet dmg so I don’t think they will do anything.

Than can we nerf Warrior and Thief total damage as well?

Or are you looking for ANet to make Druid a free kill for you?

This is nothing more then a L2P issue.

Less crying, and more learning to play will do you more good then crying nerf. At a class that has nearly been gutted multiple times. All druid has for damage is their pet.

I think if ANet nerfed the pet by 30% then they should buff all non pet skills on the ranger by 30%. Other then that, they will do no damage.

They can keep the dmg. They need it vs some builds but I dislike how tanky the smoke scale dog thing is, even at 8 might stacks full burserker stats I land a pathetic 5k teir 3 eviserate.

Lol then you need to fix your build. Build less tanky on the status and more tanky via traits and utility skills. Because my Berserker normally hits people for 8k, 9k or more burst damage. Can run from fights and is tanky because logic.

Any case clearly a L2P issue with you as well nothing more or less.

Absolutely agree with this.
That’s IMO one of the major flaws of Reve design. And that at least can be fixed without a major rebalancing.
The second one is “legend = your skills”, so no diversity at all.

I dunno about free usage of weapon skills. I just started to play front line rev glint/mallyx.

Yet the condition damage output by those wearing Dire and TB is compromised by a build facing them that has high condition cleanse. High condition cleanse need not mean one gives up all damage output….

I stopped reading there. There is no amount of condition cleanse which can keep up with the actual conditions spamming from some builds.

Heck the other day i was fighting a warrior which could apply even confusion.

The only thing that work now is permanent resistance uptime and that boon is very limited to some very broken builds. So right now condi spamming is a problem.

The rest of the players can just hate the actual balance this game has with instant oneshot kill builds, permanent evasion and stealth builds, condi spamming builds, permanent stun build.

You do not have to nor should you expect to cleanse all of the conditions coming your way. If you could do this, a Condition build would be useless.

If i could heal all the power damage coming my way, i would never die.

What you need to do against condition is avoid a percentage of condition applications just as you would Power attacks via dodges, blocks , invulns and the like , and clean a percentage of the applied conditions. You should never expect not to suffer health loss. What you should expect is to minimize this loss between your heals and win the fight by overwhelming the enemy with your own attacks. (Which power CAN do). If you end a given fight with 1000 health and the enemy downed you won.

A warrior applying confusion does so on an interrupt with the trait distracting stikes. if you minimize the number of times you are interrupted in the first place you can avoid those confusion stacks meaning less need for a cleanse.

Here is where I find a disconnect with the crowd that continually rails against condition builds. For warrior as example, one of the big sources of Stun or interrupt is the elite skill headbutt. If I receive a headbutt from a warrior that is pure power, I am going to be stunned for 3 seconds and take some 10k in damage just from that headbutt.

If I receive a headbutt from a condition based warrior traiting distracting, that 10k damage will drop dramatically and instead I will get 4 confusion stacks. Not only is the damage on the fomer greater and not subject to mitigation via a cleanse or just running around as the damage already applied, but the headbutt on a condition warrrior is no more difficult to avoid then the headbutt from a power warrior.

There a whole pile of on interrupt skills that apply raw power damage. if you can avoid those, you can avoid the types that apply a condition on an interrupt.

This not to suggest that there not outlier skills/traits on condition builds that may be just a little too much (just as there is on power builds). It to point out this not a problem with condition builds in general or with the TB and Dire gear survivability.

How? I watched and ele vs a chill mancers (bad mu) the ele got gondi bombed and was taking something that looked like 17-20% health per tick so he cleansed it or nearly all of it, only for the chill mancers to put on the same condis dmg ed ticks a few seconds later.

You can avoid power based dmg in a lot of ways but condi application dosnt seem to work the same way and just land anyway.
