A story about me.
I know Anet keeps saying NO, but I truely would love this and so would mean other players.
I hate Norn, the looks the feel, the style at least (the lore is awesome) just dont like playing them, I didnt know this when I made my Norn guardian LONG time ago (day 1 of the game) 489days ago. I played it for over 1k hours (account over 4k hours).
And ATB I HATE IT, I 100% hate playing my norn guardian, I only play it b.c it is useful, I have ascended weapons, armor and trinkets, 77 AR and put alot of money and time into it.
Im at the point now where I would rather not play the game than to play my norn, it discuses me to look at it, Ive done 3 make over kits and some Hair kits and cant get it to look good to me.
I want a Asura guardian, I love the Heavy t3 look SO MUCH I love the movements they do… I love them, I made a 2nd warrior just to have t3 (even tho my 1st warrior has Sunrise lol).
Please Anet, just think about Race change

OK, if I understand correctly. They made that you need more silk to produce the same stuff as their medium and heavy armor counterparts simply to diminish the supply of silk?
If yes, how kittenING SILLY is that? I mean what the hell?
To help balance the economy, Im very happy with alot of the changes to help this, its is taking a very long time, but you can’t do it over night.
Also Silk is a t5, and all t5s are around 1.5-2s on tp, this should be the same.
2nd, you can get a stack of silk in 1 day easy, Ive had days where I got 2 stacks, doing 1 30+ fractal normally gives me 80+ silk, 4-5 dungeon runs I get 50-100 silk (depended on the dungeons, I get more for AC compare to CoF).
Every couple days or so I do, AC1-3, TA:Up/F, SE:1/3, CoF:1/2, Hotw:1, CoE:1-3 and Arah:3 I get well over a stack and close to 2 stacks when doing those, plus about 24g, yes it takes 5 hours, but thats a very good 5 hours for what I get.
I saved my silk for about a month and i had 30+ stack, I just sold 20 stacks a week before the patch and Ive made 10+ stacks in that week (doing extra sungeons for gold to get ready for 500 crafting).
I know a lot of players dont do that, but you dont have to do it daily, its just an option, I mean If everyone tried to make a exotic daily they will slowly run out of supply too.
so is being able to do nothing with ascended drops you don’t want a bug or what?
i put all this effort to get an awesome drop without the stats i want and i cant even brake it down
I have a bankt ab of rings, I have 3 ascended weapon chests I dont want, Doesnt mean Im all QQ about it, its random, Im just happy i got the drop, Unhappy its not the stats I want, but Im still saving b,.c in the future with trait/skill changes I might change my builds.
Or in the future with precursor crafting, we might be able to salv ascended weapons, we dont know let.
How did you put “Effort” into an RNG system that granted you an ascended drop? That doesn’t make any sense. You were lucky to get an ascended drop you didn’t work for it at all. You get a random stat ascended chest, that is it.
How is it lucky to get something you cant use?
and its not a chest like in pve where you can pick your stats. its an item drop.you have to make it to lvl 10 fractiles before you even get those drops let alone find a decent group to go with so it doesn’t take hours to do a fractile. i’de rather get an exotic drop at least then i could sell it or break it down.
You act like level 10 is hard to get to and hard to find a group for. I have crafted over 10 ascended weapons for my warrior with all the stats I wanted. Now that is an example of effort. You got a chest, you actually can use the weapons within the chest. You get to pick a weapon of your choice, which means you can use it and it’s just the stats you don’t want. I’m lv 50 fotm and it takes me around 30 mins to get a group together for lv 49 because not a lot of people have AR for 50. You’re only level 10 and you’re entitled to getting a good reward for such a low level. An exotic is around 1G and the ascended chest weapon is 1G for vendor price. Come back with a valid agruement. Why are you doing 50’s? I do daily 49 or 48 depending on the group, the couple times Ive done a 50, the whole group didnt get rewarded at all. So I see no point in doing a 50.
The 2 new craftable backs cant be infused, you will have to make a infused fractal back and transmute it together.
This really sucks and I have asked why not let us infused them, but seems no one cares.

IDK about you guys, but I did 5 dungeon runs and got over a stack of silk, Im sitting on 20+ stacks atm. I see no reason to QQ about to, do some dungeons and fractals. That how you "farm for silk’ yeah may take an hour, so what, it takes an hour to gather allt he wood you need to for the other recipes. IMO it is very well balanced.

So… why cant we infuse these ascended backs and can so with other ones?
I would like to be able to infuse these back items.
Note* I have not tried myself, but A friend did try for me and he couldnt put it into the forge.
The idea of synergy skills was brought up, and I kind of want to expand on that further. One of my pet peeves about the game, is the lack of combat depth. I don’t feel that my class (necromancer) is contributing anything, and I don’t feel like the combat is moving forward. In fact, it feels like it is going backwards.
Look at the picture I’ve included below. This is what an average dungeon run looks like. As you can see, there’s no strategy involved. All the support that you need is a bunch of guardians spamming every boon on their bar, and then everyone stacking somewhere in a corner. All those boons on us, that’s all the guardians are doing, and that’s all we need.
Now, during this run I had Plague with me to blind enemies… was it really needed? I don’t think anyone even noticed those enemies were blind. The combat is really lacking depth. I want to see combat move on from that, and move towards more elaborate roles and tactics. I don’t think one class should be able to spam so many boons that it trivializes pretty much every dungeon encounter in the game. And I don’t think every player stacking on top of each other should be the pinnacle of tactics in the game.
This is why one of the other users laughed at your support warrior before. All you basically need in the game is one guardian, along with everyone stacking in a corner and clobbering things to death. Defense is barely needed, especially since all you really ever have to dodge is insta-kills (a mechanic which trivializes defensive equipment).
If we are going to have some form of equipment progression, I think the game needs to progress with it, and give defense a purpose. I also want to see more synergy between the different classes, so they have to work together to get this much defense, instead of just spamming their whole skill bar.
I do dungeons EVERY day, and a LOT of them, I teach guildies how to runthem very fast and efficiently, I can clearly tell a good player that times there boons, reflects, blocks, dodges, heals BLINDS, Weakness, Chills (both weakness and blind will save you alot of trouble in some places) Knockbacks/Pulls and Immob/cripples (those are very important to be good at using).
The times when we have amazing level 49 fractals and the best dungeons runs are the times that players are using theirs skills correctly and wisely.
Ive had some of the easiest (what I feel are) dungeons runs be a Nightmare b.c players just “spam skills” with no rotation, not knowing the Enemy attacks or timings.
So I feel this game does have alot of depth and strategy, just b.c you can “push” your way threw a dungeon with force doesnt mean thats the best way and fun.
My Favorite Is larger parties, I would be happy if just 1 8-10 man instance, Also Having more dungeons, EVEN if they are temp, I still loved the Aetherblade and Molten dungeons, it be awesome for more of those, and SAVE the old dungeons, have them like you do with activities, rotate them time to time.
More activities be amazing too, what about that Perpetual bar brawl? You only talked about that A lot before release, with achievements and Earnable town clothes and titles. This game needs more to do during the players “down time”.
Barbarian is the sPvP equivalent of Knight in PvE, Knight amulet isn’t available in sPvP anymore, and has been replaced by Barbarian stats.
Which I like aswell, but it would have the same problem: Power is the minor stat, making it a poor choice in any situation.
With zerk trinkets and weapons, barbarian armor wouldnt drop you hp very much at all.
Vit/Pow/Prec
WOuld LOVE this armor set, more so than knights,, with many classes having low HP pools, this would be very nice.
Be perfect for, thief, guardian and ele, still be able to keep a good dps with added vit.
Will this, and other armor sets like Dire (CD/Vit/Tough) be able to be ascended?
Venoms 30s Cool down base (But basilisk 45sec), Give 1 Passive ability and 1 used ability to them, Missing due to Blinding doesnt proc the venom. Make Zerk venoms and condition venoms separate!

1st off, I love thief A LOT and I feel it doesnt need nerfed at all, but I do think some balancing is needed.
Here are a few simple Ideas.
1) Shadow Refused – Make this an Elite skill, giving you 1sec of stability per pulse (so your not KB out of it) 90sec Cooldown. 10 players max. This is to help over use of an aoe skill and make it a more important skill.
2) Basilisk Venom – A utility skill, keep it the same.
3) Venoms 30s Cool down base (But basilisk 45sec), Give 1 Passive ability and 1 used ability to them, Missing due to Blinding doesnt proc the venom. Make Zerk venoms and condition venoms separate!
Example 1) Skale Venom: Passive, 10% chance on crit to cause vulnerability for 10sec, When used, next 2 attacks apply Immobilized for 2sec.

I will never use a venom shared build reasons why:
1) Takes away DPS.
2) Venoms dont work well with each other.
3) IMO other traits are more worth whiled for thief.
4) Your taking away survival utilities and traits us thieves need.
5) You want be needing all the venoms all the time and you will be wasting them sometimes., you will need to use the right one for the right job
—example: Your 100% healed up, but 2-3 members are almost dead, so You cast it to heal your members, now your stuck with no heal if you attack, or attack gain no heals and then have your heal on CD.
6) Not all venom’s work with your build.
7) Small radios, Unless your in a dungeon or fractal and stacking, its not a large area and easy to miss other payers.
8) Cooldown, unless you put MORE traits into them (again wasting good DPS traits for a few CC or a little extra condition damage), they have a to long of a cooldown to be very usefull.
8a) When looking at Cooldowns I compare them to How useful they are, what they can do for you and the team plus other skills similar, and comparing them to Signets, Shouts, Glamour, Deceptions, traps(ranger) and tricks, I feel they arnt worth the wait.
IMO to make venom’s GOOD, they need to have a 30sec base cooldown, with a PASSIVE ability and if they are blocked or your blinded IT DOESNT COUNT as being used up.
Why don’t we make everything obtainable in a matter of hours and hand max armor to new people that just start the game?
Frankly, that would be a marvellous idea. It worked that way in GW1, and it worked.
100% agree, GW was never about gear, but game play and looks. Let us be able to “Grind” and “farm” sweet looking armor skins and add another 20+ armor sets into the game, more weapon skins and give us some more dungeons with 10man content instances.
What about Barbarian, Magi and Dire?
I assumed we’d be able to salvage insignias from non-craftable exotic armour stat sets when this patch goes like rather like we can with their corresponding weapons now.
I’m also curious about the Giver’s set. I’d love to see an Ascended set for this stat combination.
Im mostly saying that we are missing more than just Givers, we need them all able to get from ascended armor.
What about Barbarian, Magi and Dire?
I for one would LOVE barbarian, my thief and guardian in full zerk but 2 pieces of barbarian would REALLY help with the HP problems, 11k and 13k HP sucks.
And sense the Prec/Power would most likely only go up very little and start to hit more DR the more we stacking it, having a couple pieces that gives another stat like Bit or Toughness I think could really help. Or just the chest piece.

Ive been waiting for Dire and Barb for awhile now and would LOVE to make these into ascended armor. Ive at least can CoE or TP the Dire, but no love for Barbarians
I just want the UI like in GW1, ably to place any part of the UI anywhere and resize it… IDK why they want even allow us to move/resize things.
But yes this is a good idea that anet will never add.
Any tips for level 43? If you dont know, you take 20 damage per hit you deal and it keeps going up, 20, 40, etc…
Im not one to say please nerf, but this one I must say is kinda bad.
I was thinking (Well Im already fully zerk but I have 2 team members that arnt :/) I was going to tell everyone in my team to go zerk or go home.
I am now wishing we had Barbarian gear for pve… a 14k HP zerk guardian kinda not fun, or a 11k zerk thief :/

Dont you understand yet? The gem store comes 1st, they need to sell transmutation crystals.
I honestly salv all mine the other day, I got like 20 ecto and 11 or 12 dark matter. (tho I only had like 14 or so weapon)

I to am having this problem now, I open a ticket, we are doing it now, we got her down to the 75% mark 4 times and got LUCKY she didnt get health regen, we are now at the 50% mark trying to get Lucky again.
We are doing a fractal level 37, with the instability, that gives enemies boons if not being attack, well we are fighting Mai Trin in Aetherblade fractal boss fight, She going into her phase at 25% health, 50% and 75% where horric attacks us, she then goes invul.. we can attack her and then she gains boons, well Health Regen is one of the boons, she then goes back above 75%, we get her back down to 75% and then it repeats.
We are in the fractals right now repeating this progress.
Dear Ok, please look into this, having an aoe with 1 foot into it with Outflanked means death!
I play guardian, Im Zerk, when I died the 1st time to 1 small no high damage AoE, I thought (Oh the upped the damage more than 50% Ok I will PUT FULL """PVT""" armor on, armor + trinkets+weapons)
so…. With full PVT, I was hit for 67,000 damage, and on average was hit for at least 40k from attacks that normal in pvt would do 1k damage.
SO I went right back to zerk gear, no reason for ptv if you 1 hit killed no matter what.
The Molten Alliance bosses with this was the worst experience in this game so far.
I love DB, is a evade, 3 long bleeds, With a good condition build using DB and p/d roll of inti, shadow step you can solo lupi with no problems.
Its a play style most dont like to use b.c is it a little clunky.
My Condition build I use is based off it, 1800 condition, 20k hp 3k tough (Im in full ascended dire) with the right traits you can do 10-11 DB back to back with 15sec bleeds. Add that with signet of malice all pve content is to easy.
Guys, we need to prove ourselves. Anet had to use p/p thief, staff guardian, staff necro, lb ranger and some other thief to even think about completing new fractals.

That thief with the P/P is one of the worst thieves Ive ever seen. If I remember, the other Dev commented on him being bad. No 2nd weapon set….. no other weapon sets actually, bad utility or two and never changing utilities to fit the needs of the fight, Im betting bad trait setup too.
I almost was in tears how bad it was and feel sry for newer players watching it think thats how a thief is played.
IDK if his heart isnt into thief or what, Im not saying he is a bad player at all, Ive never seen him play other classes, just he shouldnt play thief on live video next time ^^
What if they made a special achievement only obtainable if you made it further lvl 50? I think that makes it fair.
I don’t see much fairness in putting a retroactive achievement or title when the content it is referring for has being removed, thus making it unavailable. Such a thing should have been implemented long before, for it to be fair.
And adding a reward retroactively on something that wasn’t supposed to give rewards to begin with would screw up with the people who avoided said content for that exact reason.
Especially since we don’t even have a single fractal achievement regarding personal fractal levels.
Living story gives rewards all the time and they are removed all the time, doesnt sop anything and anet seems to like it like that.

And I mean MAJOR!!!If they are taking away levels, hard work, progress now b.c of the one reason “We want you to experience the new content” What to stop them from doing the same thing in other aspects of the game?
How would you like it if they took away all the pvp ranks for a new system, all the WvW ranks for a new system, your PVE character levels, all your crafting levels! B.c some new changes that they want you to Experience it from the start. Would you be ok with that? NO!

also, the levels in fractals are not actually anything but markers, they allow you to warp to your previous level in the dungeon. 30+ is a new dungeon.
The real point of contention here should be the fact that they are removing content. The real beef is that they are removing the dungeon some people loved. They have decided that it is feasible to do so, and fits withing their evolving world idea. If you have a problem with that, you need to focus on that.
This discussion is a lot closer to the TA path discussion than people think. If TA path allowed you to permantly unlock waypoints, it would be almost exactly the same.
So really, what do you think about removing content and replacing the new, what should be done about people who were invested in the old. It is a slippery slope, but it still needs t be walked. What people should be discussing is how much is acceptable, and what to do about people who get left behind.
Also what are the developer benefits to replacing content versus adding to it? What goes into the design decision of what to keep and what to discard? Should new systems be designed to expand or evolve?

That is what it sounds like to me, that your ok with anet making those changes when ever they want?

I am also saying that just because its a hard line to walk doesnt mean the game doesnt have to walk it
Im saying to broaden your discussion from blind rage, to how to actually deal with reality that they need to improve and alter things that arent working and yet various people are invested in it in various ways.
Do you think they should never make a change that will impact anyones percieved reward or status?
What should be the limits if they do?
What are the costs if they dont make these changes?In this specific case, i will say titles make sense, They show how far they went in old fractals

Reality I would never have made a decision like what anet did to my customers, and yes Ive ran a business for 10 years and yes we had to make decisions close to this and never taken away progression, Funny thing is, that my business had progression for our clients and we did change things and never took that progression away, Im arguing b.c Being from a business management point of view I cant believe anet made this decision.
So what do you people suggest? Give heavy armor to Ranger? Give reflects to Necro? Remove zerker armor? Come on.
Its just easier to play a war or guardian in fractals, b.c players can easily use cookie cutter builds and dont have to worry about getting a good dodge off.
People take guardians because of reflects, stability and good condition removal, not because they wear heavy armor.
I would love to hear an official explanation for this. Guardians have heavy armor, reflects, stability AND good condition removal. But the less armored classes have worse access to stability and often no access to reflection either, resulting in worse DPS on top of their worse armor.
Eh, in what universe is this considered balanced?
But lets say thief for an expamle, thieves have so many evade skills, smoke/blind fields, great dps and party wide stealth. That class isnt made to block attacks or protect the party like a guardian can. Oh BTW, thieves can remove conditions on parties, all classes can.
Each class has there special things, but right now fractals higher level specially hit so hard you need LOTS of blocks, with the scaling of hard hitting mobs lessing we might be wanting more other classes now, and b.c of the instability coming, other classes might be needed more than ever.

The simple fact of the matter is that no one “deserves” anything for having gotten to a high level Fractal. No one deserves to be rewarded, special, because they reached 50 or 80, because they did those things for their own purposes. It was a bragging right. It wasn’t officially supported by ANet, as indicated by the fact that those rewards didn’t already exist.
If you want to be recognized for your achievement open the fractal entry window and take a screenshot of your level, and cherish that for all time, because it’s the only thing you’ll ever have to remember those things, and it’s the only thing you deserve too.
so what if they said they never intended to let ppl have more than 30 Gold would you say hey take a screenshoot of your Money they never intended you to go there..
man this dungeon is designed till 80 with all Level scaling from Mobs and rewards from daily chests … so don’t tell we we’re never intended to go there it’s just not true…

I agree with what you said and I dont, yes they did put it in, But after players found cool ways not breaking the game rules to go over 50, Anet then came out and said, “Ok we arnt ready for you to go over 50 yet and was never meant to be, we messed up and didnt actually look at all the means to get past level 50.” Im being very nice with what Anet said, they just put a hardcap on maw and it just Kills you know, but I like to think Anet can say nice things sometimes.
So Tl:dr, anet never intended for us to go to level 80 from the start and but it was in the game and we was able to go that high, at least let us keep the intended levels (Up to 49).
Pvp and WvW is completely broken in MANY players views so we should just have all would pvp ranks and wvw ranks taken away too for a few changes?
While I can’t speak for anyone else I would love to see PvP ranks be reset. Most people got there by farming instead of playing the game mode as intended.
Ok.. what about the thousands of players that didnt do that? I know many players that never did that and they are in the 30’s-40’s ranks, How is it far to take away someones work b.c another person found a way to advance? There was no cheating, it was legit, I dont agree with it, nor did I do it, but the game mechanics allowed it, Anet new about from the start of players doing it and took a LONG time to fix the problem.

If you want to be recognized for your achievement open the fractal entry window and take a screenshot of your level, and cherish that for all time, because it’s the only thing you’ll ever have to remember those things, and it’s the only thing you deserve too.
Right, and I agree that levels 50-80 shouldnt be rewarded, BUT, what about level 31-49? You know, those levels anet told us was ok to do, told us that we can level up to 49?
Why are those being taken away? If anet bump us down to level 49, I think there would be ALOT less angry players and more legit reasons for doing so.
But at least give us a pass of sometype for levels 31-49 or something to help us with the progress lost.
Fractals were underdeveloped and the enitre progression was borked to put it mildly. Instead of being upset over losing some worthless Internet points try to understand that this change is for the better of the game as a whole. Yes, it is bad that they have to do something this late in the process but at least they are making serious strides to improve the game. Appreciate that if nothing else.
Pvp and WvW is completely broken in MANY players views so we should just have all would pvp ranks and wvw ranks taken away too for a few changes?

IDK about you, But the problem is they are taking away progression earned by players, again, what is there to stop them from just taking away progression from the players in all parts of the game.

All b.c they want us to play with the changes from the start. But there will always be changes, there will always be players past the start, that doesnt mean you get pushed back b.c we didnt experience it 100% the way it was changed.

No, because I don’t enjoy beating my face against a brick wall. My experience in the 48s was liken to trying to kill a semi-truck with my bare hands. Lots of health, stupid amounts of damage and having to time everything just right and it takes forever. I have much more fun personally doing a variety of content with my guildmates. YMMV.
If you enjoy beating up huge bags of health then good for you. I’m sorry you’re losing your levels, but I am personally very excited to see what gambits/instabilities we have to work through in order to finish the levels. I prefer more puzzle type content with mechanics so that I need to think and figure out what we have to do in order to get to the end. That is my personal playstyle and it does not mean that everyone should like the same thing. I respect that others enjoy doing things differently, but honestly above 50 was “broken”. If you had to use revive orbs to make it past the agony it is clear (to me) that going up that high was not yet intended.
A developer has said in another thread that they do plan on developing even more variables and different sets of difficulties for 50+. I see this patch as a fix to dealing with repetitive grinding against large healthbags for little reward (besides personal accomplishment).
you didn’t have to use orb revive you could do it with perfect Timing of Guardian books ele rez and necro deathshroud. So you can’t know is’s unintended you could use this in the 70’s as well so you can get to 80 with this technic I know it works. sooo yeah and I used rez orbs we didn’t have a necro to do it we had thief, ingi , ele double guard it woulnd’t have been enough heal.
If you needed specific class abilities or gemstore consumables, it was unintended. GW2 content is designed in a manner that there aren’t required classes, and gemstore items are optional and never required.
So speedrun aren’t intended because they Need certain calsses to be that fast so we should delete all they’re Gold. this is your logic REALLY?
Speedruns aren’t intended and should be fixed, yes. There are SEVERAL dev posts detailing exactly this, and several patches that have nerfed speedrunning for this exact reason.
No, nobody’s going to delete the gold earned from them any more than anyone deleted the gold and items earned from 31+ fractals.

Nobody is taking your earnings from you any more than they took earning from speed runners.
You’re being set to 30 because all fractals beyond 30 are a completely different scaling design, and you haven’t completed those yet, thus allowing you to keep that difficulty level would be allowing you to skip content and get to new scale 50 without actually playing the new scales 30-49 and earning the right to be there.

Fractals are about earning the right to get to the next difficulty. Getting reset to 30 is because the difficulty is completely different. In short, you haven’t earned scale 50 under the new system, nobody has.
I FULLY understand that it is Different content now, BUT this is a major slipper slope!!!!!

If they are taking away levels, hard work, progress now b.c of the one reason “We want you to experience the new content” What to stop them from doing the same thing in other aspects of the game?
How would you like it if they took away all the pvp ranks for a new system, all the WvW ranks for a new system, your PVE character levels, all your crafting levels! B.c some new changes that they want you to Experience it from the start. Would you be ok with that? NO!

People take guardians because of reflects, stability and good condition removal, not because they wear heavy armor.
Pve groups are created by throwing the top five dpsers you can find together and figuring out who loses the least dps for the most group support.
The answers are warrior with banner, fgj. Guardian with reflects and Condi removal, mes with reflects.
The reason people like these classes has nothing to do with the few percent higher damage reduction.
This is perfect, Also, thieves are switched out a lot in some parts of some fractals. Blinding, stealth, good dps, Weakness blast finisher spams and a spamable interrupt with Signet of malice and dagger storm = shaman lava ele win.
Ive ran over 200+ fractals and I dont even have a half the skins, I have multi characters in the 20’s and 30’s and my main fractal character is 49 and Ive done about 30-40 level 40+
I have 10+ lvl 80 and never did one single fractal
My fractal level is 0 i guess LOL
Not character levels… fractal personal levels…. I have many level 80 characters in mid-higher fractal levels.
I feel the same, having “cheaper WP’s” actually made the win known from day one. At least from the Local chat at the time it truly felt that way.

Guesting because of party (game is buggy with parties when not on same server for dungeons also because overflows). Fractals still works different party-wise than other dungeons. I really am not sure how its works these days, been a while. Still you can’t play with EU servers even for fractals if this OP or you are EU.
LFG is useless. Not many know how to use it in TC, or don’t care, or make that logical leap to knowing I post there and people know a party is being formed for x content.
The LFG tool is not fluid enough to be used properly just saying. You literally need to open it up to see what parties are available. It could be less detached from the game, by say, going to an npc/animated bulletin board (like an airport arrival/departure screen? Too bad GW 2 isn’t that Sci-fi genre wise) or a message that pops up in your chat window (one does but its short lived and possibly drowned out by map/etc), or a hint bubble (every map change (toggle-able) "parties are available. hit “Y” to find the LFG tool and find content to join."
Like I said I do multi fractals a day in low and high levels, I only use lfg tool and always have gotten a party within minutes of posting and dont have many problems at all, just or person here or there and mostly b.c they are over seas.
More use the LFG tool than you think. I think Ive done about 40-50 fractals now just using the lfg tool.
From my experience most players seem to just wana “Hop right into the party” and dont really wana start one, so I always start one and It fills up within a minutes.
I’m still around lv 8-10 or so. If you are NA server guest to TC or I guest to you, forma party we can go in together (I know most of the fractals already). I’ve been meaning to go into fractals for a while now.
LFG tool, dont need to guest, Just make a post, EVEN if there is NO POST on there, Because you made a POST you will get PLAYERS into your party EASILY
I do fractals everyday, level 1-49 so its not always high levels, I play at night and early morning and I can tell you, Ive never waited more than 5min for any party when “I POST on LFG”.
Use the LFG tool, its very useful, and I mean use as in you make post too.
Not everything can be made for everyone. Just like raiding in WoW, Pvp in Warhammer, etc… Guild wars has Teq and Fractals for those that have time to spare and love long going content.
There is also a lot more newer players that just never done them before.
Also get into a guild, some guilds do guild runs at set times or just are willing to do it with new players too, My guild does them every monday at server reset for leveling new players fractals levels and to help teach them as well.
They always drop in the end chests, at least a +1 will. And the repeatable chests drops them too, not sure if its guaranteed tho.
