Hilarious to watch these people.
Not one of them would survive in Vegas judging by how they treat the chest slot-machine game with anger and indignation whenever they don’t get jackpot on the first to third try.
I know very little of Gryphon minds and bodies and I have no idea if it would be possible to tame them, so maybe. Forgive my ignorance, I usually just shoot them. I was a tad disappointed to find that I couldn’t tame raptors for a while, but then realized that they are hyper-aggressive, hyper-intelligent predators that would sooner bite off your hand than feed from it. Maybe Gryphons are the same way?

GODS was hilarious in Borderlands last night. They just kept blindly charging fanatically at EH into hellfire and hail, and not one of them survived. They made more than one omega golem and several alphas, I didn’t count their other siege.
To GODS members, I thank you. The extra honor badges are welcome and it gave me a good workout on longbow target agility.
(All of the above is friendly, I’m just messin’. You did a good job and I appreciate the competition, I look forward to clashing with you later.)
Made a small-ish Asura. Funny thing, I still get targetted as much as everyone else, and it’s just as hard to hide as it is for everyone else because Tab still auto-targets me and my name is still BRIGHT NEON RED in WvWvW.
I see no advantages aside of jumping puzzle camera.
Opening chests with randomized loot is a gamble in any MMO, these are just slightly higher stakes than usual. You inserted coins into a slot machine and didn’t get jackpot.
Too bad.
I got in a skeleton fisticuffs brawl with 25 participants in the middle of Tarnished Coast Lion’s Arch, and a large crowd was watching us in-character.
It was hilarious. Someone kept typing the lyrics to the Mortal Kombat song in map chat.
Karma or no karma, loot or no loot, that was a bag of fun.
Play a Norn, and then try to do the jumping puzzle at peak times while playing on the underdog server.
Prepare yourself for pain and anger. Bring an ample supply of anti-depressants and Coke.
Dunnberry, if your definition of FA making things ‘interesting’ is camping the jumping puzzle, then yes, they are.
You might as well ask Anet to remove a region from the game and make Asura a non-playable race. Bad idea.
Ewww, another one of these threads.
This topic has been done to death, just stop trying.
…I wish I didn’t get EXP from PvP. It’s annoying.
I’m level 80. If the EXP levelled me further, I’d be around level 167.42.
Funny thing, one of the people who says that says “All prices are non-negotiable.” as her next line.
Aspenwood stopped trying today and pretty much left it to TC and BG to fight it out. It was hilarious.
^ So true xD Trahearne is such a pushover.
And then Rytlock married Caithe because he likes a tossed salad with his meat.

“Money making feels like a brick wall.”
Yeah, just like real life.
Get lucky with dye packs. Abyss, black, blood and white, my friend.
Get a mesmer through the jumping puzzle. Get your entire team free honor badges, blueprints and gear. Sounds fair, right? They can just teleport people up to the top of the bridge, cutting off literally 90% of the maze and another mesmer can cut off the other 10%.
I should be able to use a rally point if I can outrun you as a ranger, a class with literally zero “Oh noes! LOLINVIS” buttons to save itself when beleaguered by EVERY OTHER CLASS :/
WvWvW this week didn’t even include Dragonbrand.
Wintergrasp wasn’t a constant battle. Wvwvw is. Stop whining.
Keep it. You never know when you’ll need it for something.
This game has a bad cosmetic system just to sell a gem shop item.

Only if the transmutation stone you refer to was a level 400 Artifice crafting item, so they can make some money off of it.
I’d love to be able to turn it off. All the whining about thieves in all caps can get annoying and distracting. The only whining that is justified is about mesmers allowing people to skip the entire jumping puzzle for free blueprints/honor badges.
I kept tapping a mangled centaur victim of a trebuchet shot on the head.
He wouldn’t wake up.
So, I then inspected him. Two of his legs were missing, he was pale and covered in his own blood, and most of the bones were broken in his chest.
I think Konig’s theory has some validity to it, but only to certain bipedal races, because the great devs in the sky don’t like different people.
I think the snow adds to the mood and makes sense. You’re fighting on a mountain, if the weather isn’t perfect, too bad. You’re a soldier, fight through it.
But the rain and snow in the same place makes little sense. I’d like them to separate the two there.
I succeeded on my fifth try with my first group due to the complicated plan.
Get your crowd control out there and pull him around the bend. He grabs a keg and runs/dodges, so does everyone else. The mobs chase him. He jumps onto the repair building. The bandits appear on him shortly after on the building. He dodges, escaping their combined attack and going to ground level. He runs up, we plant all the kegs at once just as the bandits arrive to stop us. Boom, then I got to quench my thirst for outlaw blood en masse.
It… Took forever, yes, but it was possible.

To me they are previewed and look when worn the exact same. Been wearing this pirate outfit since level 23, and the Exp. Mode Armor from CM looks the exact same. Not one difference.
It’s sad.
This topic has been done to death. Stop redundantly posting what others have already posted with a slightly altered title and opening statement.
You seem to be forgetting that Thieves die in about 3 shots when exposed almost regardless of build. Not to mention how their downed state is pretty much delaying the inevitable and has no way to help contribute to a battle like most other classes. (Ex. Ranger being able to shockwave enemies and bleed people when downed) Once a thief is down, he’s probably done.
You aren’t allowed anything, Dragonbrand.
Open world PvP as I’ve come to know it is just ganking and ambushing people in a disorganized environment. If you want to do that, you need only cower in an unreachable spot on an arrow cart in the jumping puzzle.
The Wvwvw is not my definition of open world pvp, more like a triangular battle on an enormous scale with siege to account for, NPC allies to help guard your supplies, important supply lines, strategic locations, huge battles…
While it needs more variety after a long while, I find it satisfying for now.
There are no OP Professions, only unprepared players.

Low IQ peoples who think anet dev are like humans computer designing the game perfectly balanced.
Humans are still humans, were imperfect therefore our games are imperfect.
This game is far from balanced in pvp thats why 40% of the players in sPvP play thieves.
Your statistics are a perfect example of how humans are imperfect, because they are completely and utterly flawed.
Isn’t your server currently about to fall into third place, behind TC (the unofficial RP server) and CD in this week’s match?
Not sure if they’re falling behind, but they’d definitely be doing better if they didn’t have at least 15 people camping the jumping puzzle at peak times.
The diabolical exports of the Flame Legion’s homeland fill kitchens, toasters and freezers everywhere. Soon, they shall infiltrate the Black Citadel itself.
But on a more related note, I think that the Flame Legion would keep them somewhere ridiculously far away from the frontlines and their surrounding lands. What do you find on a battlefield? Weapons and enemy soldiers. Just having them in Ascalon or Fireheart Rise would be a huge risk, especially since the Charr military would probably mobilize a small army for the sole purpose of raiding whatever location they were at and freeing them from their tyrannical grip.
I thought the Charr smothered people like you shortly after post-birth inspection.
A human god is a boss? ( I haven’t been to Orr yet, I’m still Wvwvw’ing/exploring/profession’ing)
That’s terrifying.
But you get a mental map of the world, because you’ve explored it!
That’s good enough, right?
…Right, guys?

@OP’s stuffs
Hah, I did the same thing on my ranger. This bull-headed Charr was sitting there on a cliff operating an arrow cart, trying to cover his buddies on the field below. I pulled a “I’M BATMAN.” and smacked him off.
It made my Wvwvw day.
As for the game itself and gravity, I kind of wish it worked a little more like SWTOR in the way NPC enemies could be killed using height. I’ve been stuck in a pitched battle on a cliff more than once, wishing I could fling my enemies to a grisly death with my point-blank shot. In SWTOR, if you knocked an NPC off a cliff or into a chasm, they didn’t hit an invisible wall or run up the cliff to attack you, as in WoW’s case. They’ll take damage based on their fall, just like players.
You amuse me, Bassario.
The Charr make a cannon using gunpowder to fire a shell to flip a tank. The cannon requires a reload after every shot. The accuracy is poor and occasionally it will malfunction, resulting in the dismemberment or death of it’s wielder, and due to it’s inaccuracy friendly fire is commonplace.
The Asura shrug and point at the tank, focusing. The tank is flipped by magically generated arcane force. No friendly fire is inflicted, hardly any energy is spent, financially the cost to do this is zero, whereas manufacturing a single shell for a Charr cannon costs a ridiculous fee altogether.
Let us observe the Charrzooka. A crude, basic weapon. Now, observe a golem. A masterpiece of alchemagical progress. The golem will not only stride through your explosives nearly unharmed(If it is a working servant golem), but it will proceed to crush your bones in one to two strikes. Now, imagine a hundred armored golems. No matter how much manpower or grinding gears and fumes of smoke you throw into the Equation, the Asura will have an easier, more effective way to achieve the same results.
Thusly, when your inferior race of cat-mooses attempt to subjugate the Asura, the tables will have long ago turned. Your race will be beaten, broken, and enslaved.
…Which begs the question why the great developers in the sky refuse to give us superior, efficient, unpolluted Asuran technology to use on our ingenious engineers.
@Miracle, GW2 isn’t real life. Rich people shouldn’t be the only people to get personal space, and it shouldn’t be a first-come first-serve system.
OP is right. You might as well give a necromancer a rifle.
^ We really, really don’t. Servers aren’t going to die because of the lack of a queue system, you silly WoW-loving bookah, Your server’s will to do dungeons might die because they lack initiative to form groups and do the dungeons themselves rather than have the game do it for them.
tl;dr: Your server doesn’t want to do a dungeon, it won’t do it.

@Jois, We don’t control hackers. I wish we did, I’d put them all in the jumping puzzle just to give Dragonbrand’s 20-man camper squad a taste of it’s own medicine.
If you’ve stopped playing, get off the forums and stop telling us about it. We don’t care that you’ve stopped- Nobody does.
And to be fair regarding the patch, I’m just grateful for them fixing the dynamics in Orr.
Now I have something to use my shortbow on.
I recommend zooming in over every zone or entering them and checking them for 100%, making sure it isn’t “31/32 PoIs” for example. If not, they might be in a city’s instance.
Sorry, I’m only at 45% completion. I can’t really help ya :<
Let me guess: You’re also one of the people that can’t scrape enough out of his wallet to pay for waypoints, right?
