Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
You can see as the seed is being planted by Ventari ad Ronan whic later becomes the Pale Tree.
I don’t think a seed can be a dragon
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I mean if nightmare name was changed to shade so people dont think nightmares are part of nightmare court.
Shades are coming from portals to the kittening Underworld. The Underworld underworld. Nothing. To. Do. With. The Nighatmare court.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I think shades are redesign of these http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Dying_Nightmare
and name change maybe because of nightmare court.
Even less connetion to the nightmare cout than to Abaddon.. if it’s even kitten oble.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I have never played Gw1, but why this game is played by so many players is because IT IS DIFFERENT from other MMO,s
Yes, but we want some GW1 modes to be implemented, not different game mechanics. PvP combat is awesome, too bad we can only play 1 game mode and 6 maps.
GW1 one year after release: 12 gvg maps, 10 Heroes’ Ascent maps, JQ, FA, 5 Alliance battles maps, 8-12 random arena maps, 5-6 Hero battles maps.
And like 8-10 game modes.
And this is only the PvP part..
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Dhuum, actually, if I recall.
Grenth is the current lord of the Underworld.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Nope, they are creatures from the Underworld, domain of Grenth. nothing to do with Abaddon.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
They’ve learned from that lagfest and won’t have an open world final boss.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I know that the new death shroud bar was cosmetic only, but since the old bar was replaced, I feel like life force drains much faster when I’m being hit. Maybe even 50% faster.
In WvW I can still rush throught a zerg with maintaining DS. In SPvP one warrior with HB gets it off in 2 seconds.
Is it just me?
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Custom arenas will replace hotjoins, that’s a fact, don’t worry. But you can’t create maps, only give rules for the map.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
The villages still look Krytan.
In PvP however, the Battle of Khylo architectures are all renaissance-Krytan styled…
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
If they will make another step into this direction after Super Adventure Box and Charr Plush bags, I will hang myself and everyone will do the same who tought GW lore still exists.
Kraits are evil, Quaggans are allies, lore-wise this is bullkitten. Yes I wrote kitten deliberately.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
But actally… don’t keep saying Dwarves are dead or a very few left only. We can’t know that. What if their number is still almost as big as the Charrs?
They’ve inhabited all the territories that the Norn got now, and even more. That’s many many little Dwarves.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
+1 Dwarves
When Primordus is up for the killing, the great dwarf shall return and send the players on a series of quests to gather together the remaining dwarves and restore the great dwarf race to flesh.
Upon completion of this quest chain the dwarf race will be available to that player for new alts.
Anet, make it so!
They’ve been turned into stone by the Ritual of the Great Dwarf, to be able to battle Primordus’ champion and Primordus himself.
Your suggestion is that the ritual will be undone to battle Primordus. So much logic.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Hallowed ground of lost world. We took the temples, hosted by Risen priests of fallen gods, used the searing cauldron that burned Ascalon to ashes. We have fought hard against Zhaitan, it should have only got harder as we got closer, that is what really disappoints us.
Two dragons are coming our way. Let Jormag freeze Tyria over, let us chip our way through ice and monster for that final epic battle against Jormag. Bring Primordus next, we will go through enemy and hell itself to take back the underworld. We have so many chances for battles that can only enrich this game beyond any other. Let us take advantage of that! I have faith in you guys Arean net bring us the dragons! We will bring Death to them!
You do realize that Primordus got nothing to do with the Underworld.
And those aren’t fallen gods at all.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I don’t think ArenaNet ever actually claimed it was fan made or that it wasn’t a mesmer – that was just the mesmer-haters trying to persuade others and, probably, mostly themselves that it could be something else. ArenaNet just refused to confirm it.
They refused to admit for years, and in 2012 the confirmed it.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Ofc they got no plans wqith Livia, that’s sooo sillyyy..
Like the pink themed GW2 ‘scholar with a fan’ concept art, that’s just fan made, ofc that’s definitely not a mesmer, we won’t have mesmer. 3 years later that was verifyed to be a leaked concept art.
Arenanet is shady.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Yeah, what I’ve missed as a necromancer is the chaotic, necrotic, dark side of my character. Not the kind of ‘hero’. Helps out of course, but sin’t being al nice in all cutscenes, sometimes being cruel.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Konig there had to be at least a little more time than just 2 years. There was at the very least one Krytan that we helped to get a bad landlord off of his back in Pre-Searing. For Ascalonians to allow a Krytan to live in their country says to me that the war had to stop at least 1 year beforehand, maybe 6 months, but there’s still going to be a lot of bad blood. As for the Talon thing, somehow I completely missed the word descendant.
Maybe I’m wrong, but if we are talking about the Krytan male NPC near Prience Rurik, his ancestors were imigrants 2-3-4 generations ago as far as i remember.
Idk why i wrote 5 years first, that was really 2.
The Guild wars stopped oly after the searing, not even losing North Ascalon was a reason to end the fights. if you listen to pre-searing guard dialoges, they state that Ascalon’s Chosen is fighting ‘some Orrian guild’ atm.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
If they haven’t played with that profession that usually means that they don’t want to.
And if you just started pvp and got your 1st match, that means you have to make another profession to play this again.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Make us earn rank points after a given amount of rating, like the champion title in GW1. This way, people could play with both their lower ranked friends and ranked teams, while having a fix point to show their routine.
This title could look like for example: Champion Phantom (1), (2), (3)… (10).
So your progression would be shown this way besides the earned champion title. However, these ‘numbers’ wouldn’t be tied to only one character or profession, could be used with any of your champion titles.
1st tier of champion titles would remain untouched, not requiering a rating. Maybe each rank would recommend wins above higher and higher ratings.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Btw the rose of the dragons can change many things too.
Back then, Kryta was in war with Ascalon. After the charr invasion and the searing, Krytans let the Ascalonian refugees flow in and provided them a settlement.
This happened under 5 years. 5 years from enemy to ally.
Same could happen to Cantha. Cantha is the only continent that hasn’t been completele erased just to make the human territory equal to other races’.
If Arenanet is going to destroy another continent, or we will have to kill Canthans just like Ascalonian ghosts, many will be very very angry. They wrote off Elona, Orr, Ascalon, Battle Isles… at least leave Cantha.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Which even more proves the point. Although one has to wonder how long of a life span the Tengu have, if the same Talon Silverwing fought his way through…
The descendant of Talon (for me) means descendant of Talon.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Since it became racist. They would be allies to humanity only, and that is just a possibility. Remember that Cantha’s first attacks weren’t against the other races, but against factions of humanity that didn’t line up with their point of view (see Luxons, Kurzicks, Am Fah, and Jade Brotherhood). If they went into conquest mode (highly unlikely) they would definitely be a threat to all of Tyria, and if they didn’t go into conquest mode, they would be unlikely to ally with any race other than humanity (and they would most likely see humanity as tainted because of their alliances with other races).
The isolation happened 200 years ago, maybe after that emperor’s death they wouldn’t do that again. 250 years ago the most advanced technology in war was black powder not Gigamegalasers. Many things have changed.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I’ve wondered about the undead connection. Though i doubt it was planned in advance, perhaps the presence of Zhaitan influenced the outcome of the cataclysm, modified the scroll’s magic or was the source. Maybe he’s the reason the Visier Khilbron became a Lich and the Orrians became undead. Just a thought.
Not at all.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Because there are many threats to Tyria that are much more dire, lol. Palawa Joko could invade should the threat of Elder Dragons are removed, but an isolationist country is very unlikely to provide a threat to Tyria should the DSD be removed. This is most likely why we’ve heard of Joko but not necessarily who the current Emperor is (Usoku was after Kisu, but I doubt he’s ruled over 200 years, lol).
Since when is Cantha a threat not and ally?
And a very strong ally.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I wonder why we don’t know anything about Cantha in it’s current state. The Order of Whispers is known to travel there still, yet they never talk about it.
The Order got a route to Elona. Not Cantha..
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
If PvE guilds can do guild-special stuff then we deserve GvG.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Toast, go read the huge debate on this in the Human forum if you’re interested in some very good counters to your argument.
For future events: How about a 2 faction divide where Humans, Asura and Sylvari unite to fight the Norn and Charr? Sound good? Good.
Makes no sense. Btw 250 years ago even norns were slaughtering charrs like animals. So.. <3 today’s lore.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
“Had to defend our kingdom against the Charr”… after you know forcing the charr out and building your kingdom on their land… freaking pilgrims
Lore lesson:
It is unknown how many years the charrs spent there, but Ascalonians did more than 1200-1300. Pilgrims?
And this “charrs where there before” is a post-made fact to justify the charrs for GW2.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Lack of this feature actually blocks ppl from using/making new builds. Not everyone likes to remember all the traits.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I tought deatchmatch would be a bad and impossible idea for GW2. Until now.
+1
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Many GW1 players say that GW2 feels like destroying everything we built up and fought for. The greatest issues is that we had to defend our kingdom against the charr, we fought for king, prince, glory and the people! And now we have to support the charr to erase all what remained, destroying Ascalonian statues and killing ghostly peasants.
So here’s my suggestion how to make the other side (Ascalonian humans) feel a bit better:
The Fields of Ruin is aleady a human land, and as the treaty progresses between Ebonhawke and the Legions, they agree on a united assault against an enemy whose defeat could forge a stronger bond between them.
“A united assault on the flame legion, for oppressing other legions and searing Ascalon, in which this alliance reclaims Drascir for the Humans, making it the Ascalonian capital for them, linking it with an Asura gate to Ebonhawke.
Or as they approach the doorstep, they realize that Drascir isn’t abandoned at all. Humans managed to rebuild the city after the fall of Ascaloncity, using mesmer magic to hide it from outsiders, or was moved to another phase of reality for a small time, using the Scepter Of Or, or a third, some humans were using the Rift in the catacombs to escape for a while and then took it back"
Anyways, taking back Drascir for the Humans with the traditional Ascalonian architecture, BUT NOT IN RUINS! would be great. Or a part of the city in old architecture, like the Nothern Wall and some ruins, and some parts a bit like Ebonhawke
It could be the next bastion on a way to reclaim lands from the flame legion, however Drascir isn’t in the scorched or branded land, but in the green fields next to it as far as i know. Perfect for human inhabitants
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Only one solution to make us, GW1 Ascalon fans feel better: as the treaty progresses between Ebonhawke and the Legions, they agree on a united assault against an anemy whose defeat can make this alliance stronger.
A united assault on the flame legion, for oppressing other legions and searing Ascalon, in which this alliance reclaims Drascir for the Human,s making it the Ascalonian capital for the humans, linking it with Ebonhawke.
Or as they approach the wall, they realize that Drascir isn’t abandoned at all. Humans managed to rebuild the city after the fall of Ascaloncity, using mesmer magic to hide it from outsiders, or was moved to another phase of reality for a small time, using the Scepter Of Or.
Anyways, getting back Drascir with the traditional Ascalonian architecture, BUT NOT IN RUINS! would be great.
This could be the next living story part, connecting them with the assault on the Flame Legion.

@Konig
However, Ebonhawke has some Canthan meals.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Survivors making their way to Ascalon and Kryta? When? Where?
Ascalon, no; Kryta – after Usoku exiled folks.
I know, but the one who asked stated that, and also that they are arriving atm roo.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I got 105 wins 60 loses, won 8 in a row yesterday and moved only 4 places forward, I don’t get your issues…
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Dear ANet:
What word from Cantha? Survivors make their way to Ascalon and Kryta. What word?
Survivors making their way to Ascalon and Kryta? When? Where?
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
They should really add more skills.

Fear The Crazy [Huns]
You mean the Branded? When the Crystal dragon, Kralkatorrik flew south, his breath and the storm he brough corrupted the land, turning everyone in his way into Branded.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Well, New Krytan is a mixture of human alphabets, so reading those makes sense, since New Krytan is now used by all the races.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Language? The same that everyone uses/used. Old/New Krytan are alphabets, maybe they had an Orrian one.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
How are the vortex creates Charr?
and all the vortex of the game in general, is there a possible explanation?
And that the Charr still use pots for canalyser spells?
how does it work?
?? I can’t understand a single word.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I am happy about the leaderboards, it’s good that we finall have them. It’s just the thing that more players play this game. 100 is enough for the purpose to show the bests, but in-game we should be able to see our own rank and rating.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
More GW1 lore: Human gods, mursaat, white mantle, etc.
+1
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
wouw, it’s like: America will support North Korea to fight the Arabic world…
In GW1, Palawa was an option, because he did nothing at your time (was sealed). In GW2, humans want to see him dead (really, really dead, not undead). Elonian refugees will join palawa, who caused them to flee?
Maybe if there would be a treaty, like between Ascalonians and charr, if Joko leaves Vabbi Kourna and Istan, or at least won’t go further than river Elon, I could imagine to join forces with him. But then no reason for PvP.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Norns are like like giant dwarves. They totally act like that. I don’t think they will add dwarves to the playable ones.
Norn are french viking pansies, you deserved to be slapped for that comment.
Common things:
-inhabit the same land
-same tone of voice (the Vigil Warmaster, Forgal, was voiced by the same guy voicing Jalis Ironhammer, King of the Deldrimor Dwarves.)
-penchant for beer
Minor things, but these make up the roots of a race.
And if they would somehow return, wouldn’t they want to reclaim their lands? Like everyhing that belongs to the norn? They could allow them to stay, true.
Btw the Deldrimor front is a pretty huge land, I could imagine the addition of this race. I love dwarves. Maybe if Primordus would be killed..

Orr got destroyed shortly after the GW1 tutorial in Ascalon, so you can only see concept arts.

Not possible to change. You gave your soul to the whispers.

You deserve a PvP server named after you.
