Also has any of the living story content taken place after the defeat of zhaitan or is that not yet being recognised by any in game characters?

yeeeeeeeeeeaaaah……. no. it makes precisely no sense at all for this to be something that happens.

a queue sounds like a terrible idea to me, you would still end up waiting until a space opened up and have a long period where you would not be able to play the game plus this would probably unbalance servers even more as wealthy people jump ship to more popular servers.

an alternative solution i would propose is giving all new accounts 1 free server transfer. That way they can jump in straight away on a server and use guesting to play with friends and in the mean time check to see if they are able to transfer and do so f a slot opened up.

they could probably (assuming they realised there was a problem) invent something that does the same thing the elder dragons were doing

I could see this. But to have two evil Firstborn…. I think that’d be something that would get mentioned beforehand.

Well it could be that she conducts all her evil in secret like palpatine in star wars and noone has made a connection between her public persona and her other life.
Or perhaps she thinks her actions are for the greater good and either they are and we dont know or they are misguided.
Or maybe she left her people and they don’t really know what she’s been up to.

Plenty of possibilities although they are all speculation at this point.

i dont see why scarlet would be livia though it would be interesting to see her again in gw2 (i rather think if that were ever to happen they would also do a cleansing of orr arc and bring back the sceptor).

tc another thing is something like steal which you can trait to give swiftness, i dont think it will unstealth you if you dont connect with anyone when you use it but you will still get the swiftness. Plus add to that the trait to increase speed in stealth and its entirely possible that what you are talking about is just them playing really well.

rather than getting mad get a video next time and post that because im sure there are plenty of users on here who could dissect what the player is doing and how it probably isnt hacking related.

I’m perfectly happy with how they trickle a bit of lore about him every now and then through npc dialogue.

Well the portals are made from magic aren’t they? Unless there actually is an explanation given somewhere I think in this case a wizard did it is an acceptable response.

I think of the elder dragons as forces of nature like a tornado or a tsunami. For the most part nothing good will come of them and if there is anything we can do to minimize or prevent their effects of course we would do it but from a rational standpoint they are not evil or good, they just are.

why where did this come from no just no if largos interfered with anything it would be with another sea baring race any way what the hell they haven’t even(as far as i know) been that far north to the charr homelands

we know very little about the largos and if they were on land doing some assassinations they would probably either be stealthy and remain unseen by anyone or would kill anyone who did see them

i thought someone had read this and fixed the situation but it turned out the hom achievement only disappeared from my nearly completed section because another achievement had a higher percentage complete (or at least i think thats why) and once i completed it the hom one was there again. it is really inconvenient

If anet had just made it about which character i wanted to win i would vote for kiel for sure but there’s just no way i am not going to do everything in my power to be able to play that fall of abbadon fractal.

as a side note (not that it needs to be said) the bl key thing would suggest you are making a vote for rng but i doubt very much anyone voting for evon is doing it with that in mind.

From all the lore stuff I have read it seems there is plenty of reason to believe the nightmare court has nothing to do with mordremoth.
I can’t imagine the asura experimenting on some/one (idk which) of the firstborn sylvari would have been pleasant experiences, and riannocs death and betrayal at the hands of someone he trusted could both have introduced darkness to the dream.

I think the dragons could eat the gods because they are beings of magic, the gods could stomp the mortal races and as we have seen in the case of zhaitan the mortal races can unite to become better than the sum of their parts and be strong enough to kill a dragon.

More of a rock paper scissors type scenario than a structured hierarchy. Everyone stomps the dragon champs though.

No and I will admit the connections I made were flimsy but one of the few things we know about the largos are that their whole culture revolves around hunting/assassinating/killing things and when you have that in mind and then go and play an assassins creed game where they basically assert that yes this thing in history happened but not quite how you thought and then you read the descrip of ghosts of ascalon and the assassination of the khan ur is fresh in your mind…

There are two things I can think of that might be responsible for that which have nothing to do with people trying to have a negative impact on the match.

1st is something I did myself a couple of days ago which was trying to use siege weapons to finish off the master of overkill achievement. I didn’t know which weapon would do the most damage so I experimented with a few and ended up getting it with a superior ballista.

2nd is the supply used achievement.

If it was either of those two reasons I highly doubt the person was trying to be disruptive, they might not have realised any impact would be had being that they were doing it at a supply camp. Someone trying to be disruptive would do it at a tower.

I watched a video on youtube the other day where the uploader made an offhand comment about how there is so much detail in a lot of the enemies but we don’t really get to see them because its usually all fighting.

I had always wanted there to be titles for doing the slayer achievements but then I thought what if they instead unlocked some kind of model viewer or something where if we did the risen slayer achievement we could get to look through the various risen models without having to worry about them killing us while we do it.

I don’t understand how it has failed when it is so much fun.

I would like more interface control in general like how you could set up your gw1 ui exactly how you wanted it to be

OP you never had to participate in wvw to begin with, you could get 500 badges just from doing the jumping puzzles. I think it will be better this way, less cause to go to wvw because you NEED meaning more who are there will be those who actually WANT to be there and therefore should be better for it.

I quite like the new ui for achievements, from what you mentioned I would like to see the option of sorting completed ones to the bottom or top and also being able to manually order the ones we put in watchlist.

So to make gw2 a fun game for you they would have to make it WoW? Thats what you are saying right?

This is a horrible idea and you are all horrible for thinking of it AND then contributing to it.

There is NO good reason for this to happen. None. At All.
Your character IS a certain race and they ARE a certain profession and that should not be changeable because it just doesn’t make any sense for it to be.

If you truly want a change you have 5 character slots and if you are honestly using all of those you could always purchase another character slot. If your problem was that you didn’t want to level again I would have to point out a couple of things:
*Leveling does not take long at all
*IF you would consider a 3-4k gem purchase that is the equivalent of 90g in game, more than enough to level 1-80 by crafting alone.

-_- if i go in a dungeon i have not been in before i am going to watch the cutscene, end of story.

-Try to mostly use skill 2 through a line of crystals, this way you get the speed boost and have it available again if you need it

-If you get light travel (skill 0) save it for a part you struggle on. For me it was the 2nd to last lightning-air jump area (and also apparently all the people ahead of me at the time had the same issue as I jumped from 8th to 1st)

Do it with a thief character, then if necessary you can stealth your way past them. That was my strategy but it turned out I didn’t even need to do that as all it took was /wave and we all just went on our happy ways.

blue soda if it upsets you so much then just make sure you are on every server in every possible instance of sanctum sprint and come first in all of them (which by the way is about as reasonable as anything you have said on the entire first page of comments)

I agree it is quite high and because of that I won’t get it BUT I also think its reasonable. As someone else said you would have to play 2000 times or something like that to make up the cost so you just have to decide do you think you will play it that often (or do you just want the convenience)? If so then buy it. If not, don’t worry about it and just buy the consumable versions (depending on whether or not the vendors are sticking around you may not even have to stock up, just buy as you need).

You guys should put this place in game somewhere and have it be an instanced mode and when we get items like the ship model from the latest event we can put it on display there sort of like the hall of monuments. Then also if other event items like that are put into the game we could add them to our explorers society instance.

Yeah would be nice if wps were free in the area i mean if you died by a mob you would still have the armor repair cost to deal with, if this has anything to do with it then perhaps just make the armor repair merchants in bazaar charge more. Sure people could leave zone, repair and come back but then they are paying in time (loading screens) and money

So i noticed that some of the achievements (the ones that likely will not make a comeback) from past events do not display in my achievement panel if I didn’t complete them but a guildie said that was not the case for them. What’s it actually supposed to be like?

So in the achievement panel it says one of the rewards from the first chest was an account wide magic find boost of 1%, I already opened that and the account bonus’s did not change to reflect that fact. I don’t know if I actually have it and it’s just not displaying or if I don’t.

It was a hidden achievement, that might have been unintentional though (as in it might not have been meant to be in the game in the first place). By all reports I saw it had been removed from the game entirely for a while now

There is no way Zhaitan is just a rank of the risen race because there is no risen race. Zhaitan is an elder dragon and the risen are minions created by him/it.

I quite like the idea though that the elder dragons are destructive forces of nature that come in cycles though and that suggests to me that perhaps Zhaitan has just been put back to sleep or in the event that he is dead, whatever force that created him will spit out a replacement during the next cycle.

Alternatively I also wouldn’t mind if they instead explained the creation of the elder dragons as an anomaly of nature or perhaps some force was behind it that we get to fight later on. Yet another way they could deal with it is how the death of a god in god of war 3 was dealt with, each one had a major impact on the world in their absence.
