The other option, if you want to be closer to the hybrid archetype would be to drop all the trait points in Death Magic(go 30/30/0/0/10 or 30/20/0/0/20) and change the Staff for Axe+Focus. Plus the rune change I mentioned earlier.

This is what the AP rewards are for.
rewarding time-in-game is silly as it has no direct connection to effort or accomplishment, someone could’ve been afk for half that time.

Since you went with Rabid gear over Rampage.. I’d change the runes to get a bit more perception. Ideally you want it at/over 50% including food buffs.
best option is Traveller as it will also free up one of your skill slots(I’d replace it with Corrupt Boon).
Overall though, Your stats, traits and staff are leaning a lot more on the condi-bunker side than a real hybrid… which might mean you’re better off going 100% that way and not wasting any points on perception.

I think the crafting recipe for it was available during the Queen’s Jubilee, not sure if that vendor is available elsewhere at the moment.

So ArenaNet keep nerfing builds to make them less efficient. Dhuumfire is getting a HUGE nerf. Not worth playing a hybrid Necromancer build anymore.
the Dhuumfire change is bad because it won’t nerf the builds they actually want to nerf, it’s going to push the more varied middle ground builds into either going 100% power/DS or 100% condi buker.
It’s going to do the opposite of what they want.

People already waste supplies so what you’re saying is it doesn’t make sense to make any changes to what supplies are used for because they’re currently being abused??
No, this specific change doesn’t make sense because it provides more motivation for griefing as it becomes a much more effective disruption.
What happens while upgrades are currently being built? supplies are often at zero between supply runs, would this feature only be active if no upgrades are currently being built?

There would certainly be some balancing involved, but the speed, HP, and capacity of dolyaks would likely be the only balancing needed.
Perhaps I didn’t make it clear: currently, each of the towers/keeps receive supplies at different rates. this is based on the length of each yak’s path(and on how many yaks deliver to a given objective).
making yaks go faster won’t change the relative difference in supply rate between objectives.
I think balancing the game around griefing is a mistake. To combat griefing there could be better reporting options and actual actions taken against known griefers, not changing the way you look at designing the game.
I strongly disagree. being aware of potential exploits is a key element of proper design.

Since all the towers/keeps receive supplies at different rates, it seems like another balancing problem waiting to happen.
Also, doesn’t this give griefers even more reason to use up supplies? not only would they be burning off your supplies, they’ve be actively degrading your defenses.

Maybe it’s something else, like there is a limit of 2 on-crit conditions applied per crit. So if traits get calculated first, I would get 2 of burning, bleeding, or vulnerability, and only in situations where none of those are applied, will the sigil even have a chance to go.
I’m ~95% certain that i’ve had 3 on-crits proc from the same crit hit, 2 of which were from traits.
afaik: trait procs all have a separate CD, sigils share one(except for Torment which currently has its own(bug))

Devon Carter (or whoever put siege timers) got a promotion. The siege timers are a genius way to force you to waste siege (because no one likes scouting/refreshing). This ultimately reduces the supply of elder wood and mithril as well as increases trade post anet fees for selling thousands / millions of siege plans.
This entire post is complete BS.
The siege timers were a critical addition that was requested by the player base as the only workable solution to limit siege griefing.

The suggested change to Dhuumfire won’t make necros weaker, it’s just going to split the middle and push the extremes.
ie: it would no longer be worth it to run a hybrid, better off going full condibunker or full power.

Whichever class you bring, it has to be able to counteract the focused fire that the necro will be receiving. The necro should be doing most of the damage, your job will be helping to keep him alive with heals and CC

A1: as soon as you are both done the tutorial, you can use the Asuran Gate(big purple portal) in each of your home cities to reach Lion’s Arch and meet up there, or one of you can use the same portals to join the other in his/her home city.
A2: yes, they don’t interfere with each other so you can just take turns with you helping him do his and him helping you do yours.
A3: Tarnished Coast is the unofficial RP server for NA, and I believe Piken Square is the one for EU. TC is one of the busiest servers though so you might find popular zones/events to be quite crowded.. but outside of Queensdale(human starting area), you probably won’t see that many ppl in the early/mid-level zones.
A4: No mounts, Way Points and Gates are the only way to get around beside walking everywhere. there’s no unlimited sprint per say, but most classes will have options to get you a 25% speed buff and/or will allow you decent uptime of the Swiftness boon(33% speed buff)

My main problem with this elite is that there’s no easy way to practice playing in Moa form… so every time I get transformed, it’s a few seconds of panic as I try to read a tooltip or remember what Moa4 is supposed to do.. and by then I’m long dead anyway.

Considering that they don’t know the specific time that a new update will get pushed… how would you like them to go about it?
option 1: they use their best estimate. problem case: patch goes up an hour early, ppl complained that they were promised more time.
option 2: set a hard time for achievement to end, regardless of when patch gets pushed. problem case: “I couldn’t finish the achievement in time but the patch isn’t even live yet, come on you owe me more time!”
any other ideas?

there will not be only 2 features updates per year. they said they would alternate feature releases with living story releases, not with living story seasons/arcs.
