Why is it that TC is always in a zerg? I’ve heard countless times on TC mumble about how you out skill Mag/SoS but you’re always in a zerg attacking out manned maps?

Cat herding is a skill. It’s incredibly challenging to get that many window lickers to follow a Dorito around the map. I mean, they have to stop the entire zerg at every sentry to insure they don’t leave too many kittens behind. The commander has to constantly remind his zerglings not to get distracted by random shiny things like harvesting nodes, the mosquito event, and map completion.

TC is like a thousand times more skilled than Mag scrubs.

Guardians can already cure all conditions on 5 allies, which seems to be the norm when it comes to AoE abilities. And if combined with Pure of Voice and Altruistic healing, it could potentially already be better than this new healing skill.

- Warrior: Auto targeting OFF 95% of the time except for 1v1ing a thief, so I can use movement skills.

It’s a good base idea, but with a new set of finishers though of course.

Kind of like the zaishen rank emotes in GW1, that had cumulative effects each level tier. A copper spear would crash into the ground from above, rank 2 it was a silver spear, rank 3 it was gold. Rank 4 was a gold spear + copper hammer and so on.

I have never been able to buy Globs of Dark Matter on the TP tbh.

You can get them with master kit, and very regularly. I salvaged about 20 cheap exo’s (70s) with mystic kit and had 44 dark matter, enough for 4 weapons, as soon as that patch launched.

Again BL kit is a waste for materials. You always lose a lot of money unless a good rune/sigil is attached.

I agree, it just isn’t viable for certain classes (Mesmer for one) to be rocking these speed increases without sacrifice. It is bad enough that rune of speed/traveller are already breaching the territory of game breaking.

^ at how much one BL kit costs, it should never be used purely for materials, you always lose money.

It is cheaper to buy the materials from the TP. Buying a BL kit then salvaging = loss of money unless it has a 2g+ rune or sigil in it. So don’t say “it is mainly used to get rare mats out of items” because that simply isn’t true, majority of people don’t waste money.

Though there does need to be a Perfect Salvage Kit equivalent in GW2.

But then it makes black lion kit redundant.

BL kit is ONLY used to keep a rune or sigil, no one uses it outside of that (at least they shouldn’t be, if you know anyone who does, promptly wise them up)

There are only 2 options for this:
- Overpriced gem store item (aka money for anet from suckers)
- Never put into the game

Option 2 just continues the trend of time gating the game and trying to force players to play more to grind gear, which honestly annoys players and may have the reverse effect (playing less)

Just remove soul bound, it’s simply disrespectful to players. Problem solved.

All it is, is a means to siphon currency from the game (artificially slowing inflation(which doesn’t work)), and siphon more player time into the game, which is just frustrating and pushes players away because it is a negative concept.

New classes and skills always hurt Pvp modes. Just look at any MMO/online game (even GW1) with expansions that release new classes and skills, the PvP always turns to crap.

^^^^ any of the classes can access Human, Norn, Charr, Sylvari or Rat racial skills. Even if this new skill is universal, it is NO DIFFERENT to the racial skills which are also universal.

3 months of dealing with lag caused by anet and 2 companies in america.

Just going to put this here again, what a joke.

1) Fixing the lag. Tell Level 3 and Verizon to fix their crap. Go bark at them.

2) Equipment / Badges. Ascended weapons and armour should be outright buyable with badges, nothing more.

3) Population imbalance.

4) Increasing overall player skill levels. Promote playing more skillfully, not mash 1 against champs or enemies 1/3rd their numbers.

I love watching my character teleport.

I also love watching my enemies teleport.

The last few months, I’ve enjoyed good nightly lag because of the whole “Level 3” debacle or one of those other trash companies in the US. Couldn’t be having a more grand time. Now it’s getting even better! The lag is absolutely game breaking! And I thought it was laggy before! Perfect!

I really enjoy my skills not working. Thank you for the great playing experience! No, really!

I definitely know all the T1/T2/T3/T4 maybe even T5 players are loving this insane lag.

I’m sure the people who mainly play PvE, that are in WvW, are getting a great impression from this lag. They’ll definitely be staying to be more active WvW players. No doubt!

It’s not just skill lag, or teleport lag, its… both together! The perfect combination for any player. It is sooooo aesthetically pleasing.

Tier 2 Servers dont have the power to play kingmakers……. except maaaaaaaybe in JQ vs SOR vs X tier 2 matchup, but even then i believe that it will be a race to see who can claim more from the poor third server’s territory.

Oh, but if ranking is a factor in deciding the victor, JQ has EVERYTHING to gain by making sure we take your stuff, while they maintain their lead. I’m sure we can convince every other server in this league of the same.

Every hour that you tick the same, or even lower than us; exponentially lowers your chances of claiming victory.

It’s for laughs, but it will also be a lesson in server diplomacy and that using lower tiered servers for your little games is not a good idea.

The TTS guild(s) on NA still kills teq a few times per day.

Why? Don’t know. But when I attend it, it is in hopes of getting one of the ascended weapons, the teq themed scepter looks so awesome, necro finally get some weapons designed for them.

Of course all I ever get is blues/greens, thanks anet, time/effort for reward is garbage for teq.

The best thing I’ve had out of all the teq runs I’ve done is a trash “rune of the sunless.”

General Discussion is a PvE player dominant sub forum, so they’re all going to disagree with you.

And PvE only players share the same mind set as one another:
- “I shouldn’t have to PvP to get things designed for PvP.”
- “PvP players should have to PvE to get PvP related things like skins”

And better yet:
“I shouldn’t have to WvW for world completion for my legendary, but WvW players should have to PvE for their legendary”

They have the most backwards logic.

Thief steal does not grant extra skill stolen from other class in some cases even tho my char gets teleported to target. I understand it might be couse by block or evade, however i think iconic skill should at least be unblockable with special trait.

I’ve noticed steal failing (not giving you an ability) a lot recently. And the target was not evading, or had aegis or other blocks on. It is quite puzzling.

I’ve noticed that if I click on something (gate, wall), then use the right mouse button to look away from the object (aka looking for enemies in wvw), it deselects my target.

That is 9000 kinds of annoying when I can’t keep track of 2 different bits of information on my own. And as far as I know this never happened until last patch.

I’ve stopped playing as hardcore as I was, but even if I still was, I’d still think the grind in this patch is absolutely ridiculous. So yeah take it from me that this isn’t even viable for hardcore players. It’s only viable for the super rich (thousands of gold) players that screw the market/other players over for their own greed.

GW1, a fun game, with balanced and easy gear progression, with fun holiday events, the game requires skill and thinking that even casual players could handle, as well as the option to make the game harder. There were some grinds involved but it didn’t take away from the game, the fun or the content. Great story.

GW2, MASH 1 ON CHAMP IN CHAMP TRAIN. Credit card x9001. PvE completely dumbed down. Amass lots of money and then use it to manipulate the trading post to ruin content for other players. Time gated vertical gear progression. Ignored pvp game modes. The rich get richer while the poor get poorer. Poor story and continued poor story.

That’s a quick overview of both games, and what they are centred around. What’s sad is the one about GW2 is the truth.

You know the direction of this game is broken when the holiday events are completely screwed over.

Look guys, it’s clear what SOR is doing. When they are matched together with SBI against a 3rd server, they can tag team. In return, when we are matched against SOR with a 3rd server (JQ or BG) we can return the favour and play kingmaker by focusing on disrupting SOR.

Sounds like a minor agreement between a few guilds, people trying to use this as an excuse to tank is pretty lol. There couldn’t have been some widespread agreement to inflate SBI’s score when we just took SBI’s EB garri and we’re going for their BL garri as well. To try and implicate the entire SOR server in this is pretty kitten.

Not sure you know what tanking is. And nor was it mentioned. And actually, sor’s participation over the last 48 hours to manipulate the scores after we passed SBI has been incredibly noticeable.
