As the title says, the flute keeps playing the first note that has been press for ever. Please fix this, I have been waiting for a flute on this game and I cannot wait to play it as it it intended to be used.

I have seen videos in youtube where players have zoom out by a very huge distance but they use hacks. Also, I have seen people tell that you cannot get banned if you use this zoom hack…

Any developers that can bring out some light into this? I really like to have a zoom out camera to see all the enemies around me specially with the crappy movement controls that take 4 hands to maneuver them.

our dagger has a range of 400/300/600, the warrior’s GS has a range of 150 or something like that

Elementalist shoot stuff (magic probably) with the daggers (they are not really a melee class).

But back to the problem:
Why do thief have a range of 130 units on the daggers?
Why do rangers have a range of 130,160 on the greatsword?
And most importantly, why do warriors have a range of 130 units on the greatsword?

This needs to be fixed!

I find it very irritating, boring, and tiring task to hold a certain key board # for a certain amount of time just so that the siege can fire.

Why not design a way to select the power from a power bar without having to hold the key for x amount of time.

The problem is that the range of great sword is 130 units and the range of a dagger is 130 units. This needs to be address ASAP; on this update (7/9/13) the issue was not fixed…

Rally from NPC in WvW needs to go

I am tired of enemies rallying from NPC in WvW getting up from down state with +50% health, then killing me.

Also, I am tired of NPC that look like dinosaurs that stunt you while you are about to finish an enemy because the enemy rallys off them gets a +50% health upon rally, the enemy goes after you that now have 1000 heath thanks to his dinosaur buddy that help to:

First, stunt me for 3 seconds hence stopping me from finishing the invader.
Second, help him rally with 50% health.

Almost a year playing this game and getting boring already. You need to fix this kind of stuff ASAP.

So what is the point of utility skills then?

To provide utility, like removing conditions. As he said, poison stacks in duration, so that’s probably why you had a lot on you. Furthermore, poison reduces the effectiveness of healing by 33% so it’s even better to remove it before healing.

If you’re having trouble with the signet, then go for “Shake it Off!” it’s on a shorter cooldown and also counts as a stun breaker. It also removes conditions from allies so that’s even more useful.

All in all, this is not a bug.

Ah that sucks, so as a warrior I MUST have condition removal at ALL TIMES and never use the other skills such as endrure pain, bull’s charge, throw balls, fear me.

Well, that is the game design we should stick with it…………………………………..NOT

I completely disagree, what you are saying is that we warriors MUST have condition removal just because…

So what is the story now? I have been getting conditions that last 1-2 minutes.

As you can see on the pictures, I got poison condition and almost died! I used 2 times my healing skills and barely just made it. Oh and please don’t give me that crap about condition removal because it does not work, it removes 1 condition and you get 7 more. The signet removes all conditions but you get them again and again, the signets takes forever to recharge, by that time you are dead.

Sounds more like a latency issue than a range issue, to me.

That is correct, latency is the issue! The only way to fix this is to increase the range of Great Sword. As we all know, in online games we have to deal with the irremovable latency in games. However, we can find a way around it by introducing range.

As i mentioned in the description:

If you use bull’s charge and knock out a target, the target that was knock out is not in the place where it got knock out because of game latency. Therefore, if you use 100 blades in the spot where the enemy got knock out, the skill will show as miss, miss, miss, etc…

I am sure there are ways around it. One of the simplest is to increase the range in great words.

I run GS/longbow for PvE and sword/shield/longbow or sword/warhorn/longbow for WvW, never had this problem in either situation (using longbow mostly of course).

Have you tried turning on that collision feature? It stops you from running through mobs, can’t remember whakittens called. Maybe that’s why I haven’t been affected by the issue. But I also tend to 3 on the GS to tag a group of mobs and then 100B for DPS.

However, I do agree that the logic behind dagger and greatsword ranges being the same as a bit silly… You should see the ranger forums regarding axe and shortbow range. ^^

Yes, I disabled the collision feature since the first time I played this game.
I also forgot to mention that the skill “rush” on the greatsword lags too. For example, if I use it, my warrior will rush to a target but sometimes the warrior keeps running in a single spot and the skill never hits the target.

The issue is that when fighting on 1 vs 1 meele skills from great-sword miss most of the time because the opponent is in constant movement and the skill takes 0.5 seconds to cast. The only way to hit the opponent is by either knocking him out or immobilize him.

However, there is an issue with the 100 blades, if you knock a MOVING target with bull charge and then immediately do 100 blades, the attack misses due to lag. To solve this issue, you only need to increase the range of 100 blades slightly so that when you knock the target with bull charge you can still hit him.

Also, why do assassins have the same range units with a dagger, namely 130 units? Doesn’t a greatword has more range?

You need to either lower the range of assassins with dagger or increase the range of greatsword.

Those who refuse to knowledge the huge unbalance in the game are thief owners.
Just to put things on perspective note the following:

  • The thief can run away from combat in such a way that the chase is like a fat cop chasing an athletic runner. The thief either spams #2 on dagger or spams #5 on bow or spams stealth or uses skill #2 on sword to get away.
  • Now, how would a necro, guardian, engenier, archer get away from battle? You can’t, if you try to get away from a thief you die because the thief can spam #2 on dagger and easily catch up with you or can use skill #5 on bow to catch up.

ALSO NOTE: In every single MMORPG game that I have play, any class that stealth MUST move slowly when stealth. Why is this not implemented on this game?

It is obvious, that this game is broken. The developers need to put their crap together and start working on real solutions. A class that has high mobility while on stealth is in simple terms bull…hit.

Do you know what is the only mistake I regret in my life? Making 4 toons and not a single thief. I don’t feel like going back and creating a thief just to kick another thief’s butt.

Please fix this!

On the discipline trait for the warrior, the trait Heightened focus (V) does not grant 9% critical hit chance with full adrenaline. In fact, it does not grant any critical hit chance.

The thief is the most unbalance character in the game in WvW. It uses the best spells in the game and deals the best (or second best) damage in the game.

  • First of all, the healing skill should not stealth the thief when used. I mean, even a non experienced developer would figure this out. It is like giving immortality to warrior or guardian while it heals.
  • The skills need a cool-down; allowing the thief to spam the skills with a 1 second cool-down is just ridiculous.

Overall, the thief needs to sacrifice stealth over damage. Currently, the thief has High damage and High Stealth. You need to balance these to either High Damage and Low Stealth or Low Damage and High Stealth.

I am tired of holding the right click FOREVER just to turn around in an efficient way, so I am starting to look for scripts on the internet that will allow me to toggle right click with out the need for me to press the key the whole time.

My only concern is that I don’t know if this kind of script would show/shows as a hack, and If you can ban for it?

If you answer is yes there is a ban, then how come you have not implemented something so elementary as rotation of the camera with a mouse without the need to constantly pressing the right click?

After the patch on Bash the dragon, the skill drop from 1200 range to 900.

It is not documented on the patch notes, therefore it must be a bug.

I would say limit that to like 90-120 seconds, 5 minutes can actually be a lot of time in wvw

Well, they can stay dead for as long as they want, but what is not tolerated is that once dead they can still see (spy) on the enemy. If they want to stay dead for 1hr let them be, but it is not fair in a strategy game to have DEAD INVULNERABLE spies inside a keep watching every single step you take, every single siege build, every single soldier inside, and reporting it to their mates.

Just let us burn dead bodies when out of combat and everything will be fine. Once they’re burned they’re forced to res at their home waypoint.

Good idea, but i still think that the best solution to dead spying is to blind dead players; and hide from sight every siege inside keeps, gates, and towers.

My suggestion is:

Once an invader is dead make them blind.

I am tired of dead bodies spying on us. For example: An invader or more are killed inside a keep or tower and they stay there dead for like 10 min spying on what we do, what we build, how many people arrive, etc… They pass the information to the commander they build a trebuche, the trebuche fires, the dead spy tells the trebuche guy he is not aiming right, etc…

You got my point?

Once dead you should not see us, you should still be able to see your buddies, but not us.

Elementalist list of bugs:

  • Elementalist “ride the lighting” skill sometimes immobilizes the caster at the end of the spell if you are not targeting anything.
  • % increase burning duration is not increased if you equip superior rune of : 2 bealfire, 2 baltahzar, 2 flame legion.
    • 2 superior rune of Baelfire gives 15% burn duration
    • 2 superior rune of Baltahzar gives 15% burn duration
    • 2 Superior rune of Flame legion gives 15% burn duration
    • However, if you equip all these runes, the burn duration is not increased.

Archer bugs:

  • The skill “point blank shot” does not work on cliffs; if you use the skill on a player near a cliff, the player won’t fall off.
    • This is obviously a bug; if it is not a bug, then the skill “fear me” should get nerf and should not throw player off cliff.
    • Basically, any skill that pushes back other players has to either push them off cliffs or not push them off cliffs to make an evenly play.

World vs world bugs:

  • Visible enemies outside gates and walls are not reachable by long range skills.
    • On this scenario, players have reported that they cannot cast spells. If you are on top of the wall, the only way to cast spells is to get extremely close to the edge of the wall.
    • Area of effect skills cannot be cast easily if you are defending from the top of a wall, the aof rings are most of the time red meaning that you cannot cast the spell even though the attackers are 5 feet away from you.

How to reproduce this bug:

  • Make sure you have auto target off in the options menu.
  • Make sure you are not targeting anything and make sure that the skill will not target a nearby enemy.
  • Press the auto run key, so that your character is auto running.
  • Use the “ride the lighting” skill, and wait for the glitch to happen.
  • The glitch does not occur in a 100% basis, be patient and keep trying it will eventually happen.
  • The character, which was in auto run, will stop at the end of the spell. If you try to move by pressing the upward motion key it wont move. If you press the key more times it will eventually move. However, this “immobilization” takes about 1 -2 seconds which means that in a WvW your attackers are 1-2 head of you instead of me being 1-2 seconds ahead of them.
    A really annoying glitch on wvw and pvp that puts in disadvantage to elementalists.
