How to track all the events in a map?

I want to see all the events in a given map. I have been searching for a tool on the internet but the tools that I have found only track world bosses. Anybody knows if there are any tools that track ALL events?

Also, on a separate note, Anet please add this functionality in the game. Allow us to see all possible events in a given world (if I pass a certain area but I miss the time window, then I will miss the event.)

Right now I have over 1000000^9999 billion crafting recipes that I have accumulated since day 1. If I want to craft food that gives precision, it takes me forever to find the one that I want. Or if I want to craft armor with power it takes me forever to find the recipe that I want.

So, I am suggesting that you ANET implement a search functionality where you type the stats of the gear or food that you want to craft and the results show you only those recipes with the specified stats.

Please do this; it is a necessity.

In my case, I am thinking about it, but then there is something telling me that viruses might get transferred.

Some guy uses tonics to exploit and what does anet do? nerf traits and skills.

The problem is with the tonic allowing the player to transform DURING COMBAT. Fix that and you will have no exploits. The ranger gets a nice skill for the profession and immediately gets Nerf again, thus leaving the ranger as it was before.

The buff on pet swap should be unrestricted, fix the tonics NOT the traits.

He may have been running the new thief acrobatics GM trait.

Don’t Stop: The effects of crippled and chilled on you are reduced by 50%, meaning your movement is decreased by 25% and 33% respectively, rather than 50% and 66%. If you would become immobilized, you are instead crippled for 4 seconds. This effect can only occur once every 10 seconds.

Earlier today 6/25/15 I was dueling a thief in pvp and my entangle elite skill on ranger kept showing the message IMMUNE. I don’t know if that is a trait or a bug.

The trait ones are based off the official post last week on the subforum.

There were also ones leaked to external sources in an unedited form. These may or may not make the cut tomorrow, so remain unofficial, but give an indication of what might be. They are being quoted as official, but are not.

But where can i get those sources? any links or webpages? is there a webpage that posts those leaks and stuff?

I want to know in advance that info.

T6 materials are going up in price because a handful of people know that tomorrow you will be able to chose stats on ascended equipment; that means that you are going to need T6 materials to craft. Specifically, the glob of ecto and the powerful blood show a peak in demand on 6/19/15

I’m no expert on the law, but isn’t customer discrimination against the law in the USA?

Selling goods and not giving the customer what they pay for is against the law.

1.- Old player gets less for the same cash.
2.- New player gets more for the same cash.

Okay, I’ll answer your question.

You do not need another pc to have multiple account.

You will only get another account if you wish not to upgrade your current one and get a new one and start from scratch.

Only the second account will have HoT.

You can have a million accounts and play on them, but not at the same time.

Ok, well I tried to explain it to you as best I could and as ACCURATELY as I could…But I guess I don’t know how to play Necromancers. It’s why I have 5 of them. And I have been playing them since launch.

Unfortunately that is NOT how Necromancer Staff Marks work. I think you may be misinterpreting the definition of triggering between Rangers Traps and Necro Marks. And just so we are very clear on the differences between the 2 classes I have some pictures for you to enjoy so you know exactly the difference between the 2 classes and their abilities.

I myself run 5 Necros and 5 Rangers on my main account. So I know the difference. And it’s also why I DO NOT run staff necros because I do not like the way Marks are designed to work. And all 5 of my Rangers are Trap Specialists.

Make sure you read the definitions of exactly how traps work and how marks work.

If you look at the Marks Skills they all say they must be triggered. Which means stepped into. It’s not a bug and it’s the way marks have worked since launch.

When you look at the Ranger traps Flame Trap does not need a trigger. When set it burns foes immediately.

When you look at Vipers Nest it requires a trigger. Which means it has to be stepped into to trigger.

When you look at Spike Trap it must be triggered as well. Which means it must be stepped into in order to work.

When a player is in a downed state they cannot move or walk or run into a mark or a trap. So in essence they cannot trigger a mark. The only trap from a ranger that would effect them in a downed state would be the Flame Trap. None of the other traps would effect them at all. Same goes for the marks. They must be triggered.

Hope this helps clarify these skills for ya.

You are posting inaccurate information. The necro marks DO NOT REQUIRE the target to move or to step on them. All you have to do is drop the mark on a MOTIONLESS and perfectly STILL body and it WILL trigger.

Marks are triggered when a player steps onto them…. from what I understand, and this applies to ranger traps as well, the trap/mark will not trigger unless a foe is moving.

that is not true, marks trigger even if the player does not move. All you need to do is cast the marks on top of the player and they will instantly trigger.

This, however, does not work with down players.

And if you think about it, having only 1 skill on staff to finish down players is obviously not the best way to kill them. This is a bug!

NOTE: putting ranger traps on down players activates the trap, thus it is logical to assume that necro marks are bugged.

Crafting an ascended gear is painful and costly. Please make the ascended gear hold and memorize up to 4 or more set of Runes so that we can have a more diverse build.

I think some further clarification on this might help, as there can be a couple different causes for the “obstructed” message to come up. But first, let me clarify that this is not a profession specific bug – it can happen to any profession.

There are two scenarios (that I’m aware of) that can cause your attacks to become obstructed during combat:

1. When attacking a stationary “gadget”: There’s a known issue that when attacking objects, your attacks can become obstructed. We’re currently investigating this, but it’s a widespread bug, so it may take us time to get a fix in. We understand that this bug can make some fights more difficult, and thank you for your patience while we work this one out.

2. When attacking a creature: If you get an obstructed message when attacking a creature, the problem is most likely caused by the map. In this case, it’s something that we have to fix on a case-by-case basis. If you come receive an obstructed message while fighting a creature, please let us know your exact location (screenshots are a big help!) so that we can investigate it further.

I hope this clears things up!

I want to have COMPLETE CONTROL over my pet!
1.- I want to use it whenever I want
2.- If I don’t want to engage the enemy then there should be an option to keep the pet hidden.
3.- i do not want my pet to come out after I was hit by an enemy; I want to continue running undisturbed.

Is this too much to ask?

This is not about elitism, this is about fairness for all. It is not fair that those who do not lose have to wait for those who lose. As a matter of fact there are 3 minutes of wasting time during a whole run. I composed this message while i was waiting the whole time (during the 30 second breaks) and i even managed to get a 510 score.

If you die trying 3 times then the game should kick you from the mini game or something. Or the game should rank the players and put those low in point with those low in point (beginners with beginners) and (experts with experts).

if you combine experts with beginners then the songs are going to be crap. Experts with experts make the songs sound beautiful.

Why should those who know how to play and never die be forced to wait 3 minutes each run just because the noobs keep dying.

Anet should make this game an elimination game those who do not die should continue playing and those who die should be eliminated from the game.

Another option is to rank the players and put them in groups who know how to play.

The game is for musically inclined individuals and those who do not know how to play just press all the keys making an obnoxious sound.

It’s only meant to be active during combat. If you command the pet to attack to start a battle, the speed buff won’t actually kick in until it lands it’s first attack. All pet ‘training’ traits behave this way.

A reference would be nice you know!

The agility trainer VI on the skirmishing trait line says it improves pet speed by 30%. However, when you command a pet to attack an enemy, the pet runs normal.

Nonetheless, the pet moves super fast when your pet is following you by your side.

Question: is the 30% pet speed only an esthetic speed? or is it meant to be a combat speed?

This is not even a problem. It can be solved as follows:
If you do not want to be hit while in stealth by a channeling skill, then wait for the channeling skill to end THEN go in stealth.

How to deal with conditions as a ranger?

I can only remove 4 conditions every 10 seconds if go 6 points into defense and if I equip signet of renewal.

Every other class that I have played has lots of condition removal skills, but the ranger is way behind. what is going on?

The dye takes different color with different gear. As you can see the die becomes very dark black, but in other gear it becomes dark brown.

Who is tired of watching dungeon cinematics?

I am tired of watching them, well I do not watch them, but it is annoying to have to click “SKIP.” As a dungeon runner I am constantly bombarded with these cinematic and because i am constantly clearing my bags the cinematic keep interrupting me over and over again.

Please change that, make an option to watch cinematic or to not watch cinematic!

I have run over 500 dungeons, I know what the story is; I do not need to watch it over and over again COMPRENDE?

Actually, this new TAB option is useful in the Castle where mezmers hide. For this reason I like the TAB option, however, I think there should be an option to toggle between the NEW TAB and the OLD TAB.

What we want is the following:

*When you press TAB: target ENEMY PLAYERS ONLY, we do not want a moa, a wall, or a deer targeted.

If we press TAB allow us to choose from an option menu if we want:

  • To target all enemies
  • To target only WvW enemies
  • To target only walls.

How hard can this be?

On the bright side, you won’t be able to 1 vs 10 stealthing every 3 seconds. If you want to fight 1 vs 10 nasty things will happen! OBVIOUSLY!

Are you calling the thief underpowered just because when you go and fight 5 enemies you get killed? How about you do not go and fight them or else you will get punished.

For a thief to actually kill a person in 1v10 or even 1 vs 5, the entire group would have to so terrible that I’d be amazed they managed to walk around without getting beaten up by monsters. People will complain about anything that kills them. With all the nerfs thief has been getting, the only ones who stick around are the ones who are actually in love with the class and probably better at it than some FotMer.

That is not the point, the point is that you should not even be able to 1 vs 5 without proper punishment. Now, you will think twice before engaging 5 people.

  • If a warrior takes on 5 people (even if the players are crap) he is wishing death.
  • If X class takes on 5 people (even if the players are crap) he is wishing death.
  • If thief takes on 5 people he is being OP.

Well, no more! if you want to fight 1vs5 be prepare to get some punishment just like everyone else.

Oh right you’re one of those guys. You know those guys who like to frequent forums make outlandish claims, antagonize others, and generally garner the ire of everyone around him. What do we call those people again?

Anyway if you do truly believe that what your posting is an accurate representation of the thief profession in this game and not a gross exaggeration, I think you may just be a lost cause. Don’t do drugs kids, this guy’s post is the only PSA you’ll ever need.

Also @ Simon what are you getting at? You honestly believe what Hitman is saying, that one thief can kill a group of 5 players regularly? That this was a normal occurrence in the game? Honestly, not even sure why you quoted my post.

  • If you see 5 people (with one ranger or engineer) and you are a LONE roaming thief, then think twice about engaging.
