Right click report for botting GG
…I don’t think you know what botting actually is.
I would like them to fix the physics glitches and invisible platforms, though, those have been things since Sanctum Sprint was created.
Given how long it took them to stop the finish line exploit, it may be a while.
I was once fortunate to get into a pavilion which was consistently gold with the occasional silver. Missing out on the burn them all at once sweet spot for gold usually meant we had them all killed within two minutes into silver. I don’t think there is much of a risk for bronze. When you’re that close to getting gold you occasionally end up with silver.
But most of the time from my experience it’s bronze hell. Before the mega server concept finding other organized players who had similar goals was accomplished via guesting on an organized server such as Desolation. Now that isn’t an option and the megaserver doesn’t seem to take into consideration I’d prefer to do the pavilion with organized players and I’m ever stuck where people stack one boss and spend a half hour or more completing bronze. It isn’t fun and it isn’t worth it. Silver at least has the benefit of being finished in 10 minutes. Gold is best, silver isn’t so bad but bronze is a tedious process and I cannot understand why so many pavilions won’t at least try for silver, let alone gold.
I enjoy group events that require teamwork and communication but the new megaserver concept is actually making it harder to find the gold and silver pavilions. I wish there would be more consideration to such issues when designing these group events so that players who want to be organized aren’t stuck in pavilions that just don’t seem to get it and probably never will.
It’s not the megaserver’s fault at all, if it didn’t exist everyone would be fighting tooth and nail to get into the most populated servers’ prime instances, and the result would be essentially the same.
t6 mats can be obtained with laurels, so not only is it theoretically possible to complete your Gift of Might/Magic that way, but a lot of people would probably start converting laurels to mats and selling them if the prices rise.
The real problem would be things like lodestones and silver dubloons that you can’t get reliably by normal means, and that’s just a matter of Anet providing a reliable source (buying lodestones with dungeon tokens, perhaps).
Medium armor looks worse on Charr.
Which is really a shame, given the most iconic Charr class wears medium armor.
I was upset that I couldn’t make a good-looking Charr Engineer.
Mine is using temple karma armor, other than the tail clipping it’s pretty much perfect and exactly the kind of look I wanted.
If the runes are valuable and the old armor wasn’t bought with karma or badges, salvage the old armor with a Black Lion Salvage Kit and apply them to the new armor.
If they aren’t particularly valuable (and most runes aren’t), buy them again.
They’re not going to tell you anything because literally nothing Anet could say will satisfy you.
but those two felt like they got forced into every update after the tower of nightmares and were so blatantly vocal about being in love it was annoying
…but enough about Marjory and Kasmeer.
Making them salvageable might introduce a lot more Ectos into the economy (although I don’t think this is a huge issue. There’s plenty of Ecto+Dust sinks via Ascended crafting and MF boosting), but if that’s a step too far, they could at least make them Forgeable. Tossing 4 into the Forge is a horrendous return on investment, but it at least lets us get something final out of our old gear that we can’t use anymore.
EDIT: This should apply to Order gear as well.
Items bought with karma can in fact be Toileted. I’ve never tried throwing wubwub or order stuff in there though.
You have to talk to the black lion armor guy with the character who had the item equipped.
It would have been a lot easier if your pet could live more than a few seconds (seriously, Anet, I know you can exempt pets from AOEs, would it really kill you?)
There’s way too much overlap between staffs and tridents as it is (half the tridents in the game are just the staff model from the same weapon set), we don’t need more.
- If you are playing through an EVENT and you disconned, GOOD LUCK getting back to the same map you were in. If it’s one of the many FACEROLL events, you could return to a server earlier than yours, and the event is already done; or you could go back to one that is later than yours, and the event is at an earlier stage, wasting your time (KARKA Queen often sees this.). If it’s a HARD event, though luck – you could be against Teq when it’s at 10% health, DISCONNECT, and when you go back you’re in a server that has failed the event. NO WAY BACK.
That’s got nothing to do with megaservers, the game’s done that since launch. If you leave a full map, no matter the reason, nothing short of a miracle is getting you back in.
Yes, they were renamed in the big feature patch for some reason.
The Shatterer’s problem is that almost all its attacks are aimed forward, presumably because that’s the direction Anet intended you to fight it from. If they remove the safe spots to its sides, it’d be in a pretty good place as a boss.
I’m pretty sure the decision was made a long time ago (when karma, at least, was dramatically easier to get).
Nothing about selling dungeon paths is an exploit, and if Arah wasn’t such a gigantic poorly-balanced pain in the kitten there wouldn’t be a market for it.
And when a profession’s entire mechanic is completely worthless against her.
Probably more than one, actually, but pets shouldn’t be vulnerable to Liadri’s instagib attacks since they can’t dodge and when they die a good chunk of your dps goes with them.
It’s like 15k mesmer Canthan armor never left!
I kind of wish they let us use our helm though, since it doesn’t seem to have any of its own.
the huge ruins spider was always a little tougher than its normal enemy status warranted, but it got ridiculous since the last time I mapped Mt Maelstrom (I just avoided it this time).
Gw2, once you join an order, the early parts aren’t mentioned much (besides some stuff like the lost sister appearing in Orr, or the Ash and blood legion reps from the Iron legion storyline coming in)
A surprising number of characters from the early arcs reappear in the Orr missions (and most of them remember you if you’d met them previously).
I’d like to see humans and norns have at least the range of eye colors asura and charr have.
They need to make pets immune to everything in the fight but Liadri’s actual attacks, otherwise they die instantaneously and there’s literally nothing you can do about it.
Yeah, that happened to me too. Even when I was all by myself with everyone else nowhere nearby, it’s the dumbest thing.
You seem to have forgotten that you spent most of GW1 playing second fiddle to someone or other (Togo, Mhenlo, Kormir).
And give enemies very strong healing abilities, so poison can have a place in the game other than a really bad DoT.
“an enemy that heals constantly is fun to fight”…
…said no one ever.
the guys that sell the black lion ticket weapons, if you talk to them with the scraps in your inventory.
Transmuting gear while leveling was always a waste, it’s just that there was literally nothing else to do with transmutation stones.
They could try actually selling things in the gemstore at an honest price without gambling
They… do? The only thing on the gem store that involves gambling are the handful of items exclusive to bl chests (tickets/ticket scraps, mostly), everything else on there sells for a set price.
Most players cant do most of the content needed to unlock those traits, and with this newest patch Anet made some of them even harder, but you can BUY them!
Anet made them easier to get, not harder.
the gold cost is the same as it was last time, at least (and it was too much then, as well).
All bows are backward in the preview window like that, for some reason.
Anet is fine with people killing champions, they clearly just don’t want people running around killing the same ones over and over.
And honestly, good riddance to most of the champions that got downgraded. Now that kitten ed krait in northeast Caledon won’t be such a nuisance.
I just use the plants near where the Shatterer spawns for dodger, if I don’t get it from dungeons or something.
Well they’ve been added non-gemstore items. They’ve added ascended armor sets recently, and usually during the LS season they added an achievement meta skin and skins from that LS section (Scarlet’s rifles, halo/horns). Also, Tequatl and Triple Wurm minipets/ascended themed gear. Additionally, they’re adding 2 sets from weapons when WvW season 2 ends(one with effects and one without).
Also the Sovereign weapon set (which should be available again when the Pavilion comes back, actually), which everyone forgets for some reason.
Disconnecting from the server shouldn’t be a lockout from content that hasn’t happened before you log back in. It shouldn’t have mattered if he logged in five minutes, fifteen minutes, half an hour, an hour, or five hours before an event, or logged in and out once, twice, or fifty thousand times between going to an event zone and that event’s start.
The disconnect from server is a different issue (And one that still wouldn’t be a problem if Megaservers didn’t kick people to random shards after a D/C), and not everyone can do something about it, because the problem isn’t necessarily on anyone’s “End”, but could be anywhere in the middle. But it’s still irrelevant. The problem is being booted to random shards within Megaservers, instead of staying on the server you logged out of.
Well. actually, if ~ 2 hours or more passes between log out and log in, it is probably safe to risk pushing them into a different server shard than the one they logged out of.
That’s how the system has always worked, though: leave a full map (whether intentionally or not), and you’ll lose your place. The megaserver didn’t do a kitten thing.
For some reason, we get purple and teal eyes, but nothing else.
And yeah, I’d really like to have my norn thief have red eyes (because she’s basically an albino already), but norn and human got screwed on eye color.
Tier 6 Materials
- Ways to obtain T6 materials.
- low drop rates from mobs
- farm gold to buy them
- use that terrible MF recipe to turn t5 into t6
- spend your money buying gems then converting to gold!
You can also buy them with laurels, and that’s by far the easiest way to get them.
Isn’t that just lag?
For the record, GW1’s release schedule wasn’t even remotely sustainable. That’s why they canceled the third campaign, cobbled together EOTN, and made GW2.
All the gauntlet fights can basically be summed up as MAX THEM DEEPS, because there wasn’t nearly enough time otherwise, and it screws over people who aren’t geared for that (even if they’re skilled enough to win the fight otherwise).
Also, there’s no waypoint on the top level, so you had to go all the way back up from the lower level if no one was around to res you, making the process of trying again take even longer. Plus the terrible camera and the inherent issues with having a zerg swarming around beneath you.
There’s multiple skins in the wardrobe that don’t appear to exist anywhere (mostly variant underwater weapons for existing weapon sets, like Vanguard and Lionguard). I don’t know what the deal is with them.
The legendary process shouldn’t be “I got everyone else, now what hoops do I have to jump through to get the precursor”, it should be “I have a precursor, what do I need to do to make the rest of the components”.
apparently is acceptable now to sell individual pieces at a much higher price than a fullset now.
thankls alot.
It’s been that way since they started selling stand-alone pieces for half the price of a full armor set, which was what, almost a year ago?
I just want to get the other two zephyrite helms.
The boss schedule isn’t terribly different from following a commander from boss to boss, and I’m still killing most of the same bosses as always.
And thanks to the megaservers, it’s actually possible to kill bosses all day long instead of them basically being abandoned once the reset zerg has run its course.
You may as well delete the triple wurm boss…..
And nothing of value was lost.
You can buy Sentinel’s insignia/inscriptions with guild commendations.
I have bought thousands of gems, and spent them on lots of things that I don’t begrudge. But I will not spend ONE gem on transmutation, as I believe it’s a internal part of the game and therefore should be free. Anything else smells of greed and trickery.
Transmutation has always cost money, though. Transmutation crystals were incredibly rare if you didn’t buy them in the gem store.
And yes, I’m someone who used to use a crapton of the low level stones on alts as I was leveling them. Still like the change.
I did too, mostly because there was literally nothing else you could do with them.
There’s also several alternate weapon skins (mostly Vanguard or Lionguard underwater weapons, plus a “Destroyer Scythe” staff) that don’t seem to be available in PVE either.
