Only the big servers and TTS ever do them, the rest of the game gave both of them up after a couple of days.
Also, there was that huge tidal wave when Orr rose. If it was powerful enough to trash LA, it would have wiped out a lot of smaller settlements along the coast as well.
did anyone ever find the sewer-loving skritt?
It would extremely devalue t5 mats that are used to craft lvl 80 rare weapons ot throw into the forge.
t5 mats are barely worth anything anyway.
Yet, character creation for humans offers only White facial structures and, apart from the wig-like megafro for men, no curly hair options. The way it’s set up for GW2, Krytans, PC and NPC alike, range from albinistic to melanistic Whites. Instead of being adressed, the Eurocentric imperative is reinforced again and again.
And so your true Tumblr nature becomes exposed.
Leaving aside that you apparently think asians count as white now, several of those faces only look white because they’re light-skinned. And that’s before doing anything with sliders, which can have a fairly dramatic effect on a character’s appearance.
This is an oversight on Anets part where they should have implemented an autoboot system for afking too long.
They do, in fact, it just takes too long for these peoples’ liking (it’s at least an hour in PVE).
They were put in dailies because of the fact that there’s no reason to play them other than the dailies.
They also all have associated achievements
They put Kasmeer’s staff and Rox’s bow/quiver up, they’ll probably put Marjory and Braham’s weapons up at some point. There’s still about two weeks of sales to go.
The server’s honor is besmirched.
Oh no, not the server’s honor!
I hope you did report him. No defense there at all and since he admitted it, anet should have just suspended him without question.
Suspended for what, exactly?
In terms of story, it would be smart if they staggered the rebuilding of LA over a few patches to give the rebuilding a sense of time and I think we might see that happen.
This is exactly what they did with the new lighthouse and the lion statue before, so they’ll probably do something like that.
Some environmental weapons and transformations count too. The laser golem suit in Air Drop counts towards… I think it was hammer kills.
I really wish I could get the rest of the Rubric set in PVE.
The Stalwart armor is in the same boat as Rubric (you get the chest piece as a personal story reward, then nothing), as well as the Commando set (you get everything but gloves and boots from late in the personal story).
I never liked the idea of Marjory and Kasmeer being together, I thought they worked better platonically. But they had to pander to Tumblr and its ilk, I guess…
Also trying to bang someone who literally has nowhere else to go is super creepy.
Hetero stuff is assumed to be the default, the correct way to do things, the natural way people exist.
Almost as if the overwhelming majority of humanity were straight or something…
Regular Nightmare Court (and krait, as well) count as Toxic Alliance and always have, no idea why.
Why you are upset about the Hounds when you have an Earth elemental? That thing can face tank almost anything even in high level fractals, not only single open world mobs.
Racials are just for flavor. Accept it and move on.
The elemental still has a hard limit on its duration, which is a problem in itself.
imo, all summons (racial and profession) should work like Flesh Golem: it’s on the field until it dies (or you go underwater).
Also, make the norn forms not a joke. None of them are terribly good (outside of snow leopard’s extremely niche"run away from things" use), let use stay in them forever if we like or toggle them like engineer kits.

such as the premature awakening of Primordius
We actually postponed Primordus’ awakening by defeating the Great Destroyer, iirc.
They should lets us preview things in combat stance, there’s a lot of armor clipping issues that only become apparent then.
The energy wave passes through Thaumanova Reactor, specifically. The beam of light coming out of it even pulses as the wave passes it.
On the flip side of this you felt ‘apart’ of guild wars 1. Your character was important
You spent most of Prophecies, all of Factions, and quite a bit of Nightfall playing second fiddle to NPCs.
Please tweak molten Protector in open world.

Champion protectors are just a cruel joke, too.
I’ve seen this. I was running around LA looking for those heirlooms for the achievement. I wandered near the wall, but not too close because I knew what would happen, and I saw a few dredge run up to the wall and then get destroyed by hundreds of arrows. It was pretty cool.
In addition to the scripted dredge attacks on the gate, you can push other nearby enemies into the barrage and they’ll get killed too. I tested it with one of the molten vets nearby.
It’s especially bad in the northwest and west, because there’s two active lasers over there.
Getting the spinal blades to ascended takes almost 1000 shards, I think that’s enough of a sink!
So which NPCs are you still looking for?

Has anyone checked to see if any of the sewer access points are still open? After all, Anet said exploration is still possible and I’m pretty sure there’s a POI in the sewers. Skritt could be there.
You can still get to the Whispers base in the sewers, at least.
She also appears in a sylvari story arc.
It is a nice touch, too, I spotted it when collecting heirlooms for the achievement.
It’s always been that way, normal krait and courtiers count as Toxic Alliance for some reason.
I’ve never even seen Marriner or the moas happen, even though the other four escorts seem to be working just fine.
The actual armor’s sort of ridiculous, but the biggest issue is that it overrides your face with a terrible-looking generic one.
twin blades require 50 shards, 10 dust, and 50 steel. Presumably the next two tiers require the same amount of dust and ore, but more shards.
All the story dungeons should be soloable, more like personal story instances.
The rest – having a hard time seeing them as pets.
Skelk can be tamed, lore-wise, there’s a charr mill in Diessa Plateau training them to harvest wood.
Also, I want raptors.
As I said above:
“Killing a Giant or Risen Giant will always give you a guaranteed Giant Eye, similar to how killing Veteran Karkas will always give you a Karka Shell. Given how rare Giants are in this game, I don’t think this would flood the market with too much supply.”
Also, Eyes of Zhaitan. Because one, duh, and two, nobody kills half of them right now anyway.
Some of the skins are pretty nice, but the color scheme is terrible. Why are they almost entirely a drab gunmetal grey?
Sad that they chose to skip the Spear, Trident, and Harpoon gun. I was hoping to outfit one of my characters with those since she doesn’t have any special underwater weapons.
These sets almost always ignore underwater weapons, for some reason.
This heart has the same problem the Shadow Behemoth used to have: it works after a patch, then glitches out at some point afterward until the cycle repeats.
Also, that spider on the skill point is a champion that’s labeled a veteran, for some reason. Just spykit past it, it’s not worth fighting.
((Shrug)) Its meant to be rare. Mjolnir and Infinite Light say ‘hi’.
Infinite Light should be much more common than it is, or else every harpy warrior in Tyria is filthy stinking rich somehow.
I am just affraid that hard content like the wurm will be abandoned in a short time because the novelty is over and people go back to other parts of the game.
99% of the games servers will have abandoned the wurm within a week, if they haven’t already. Only TTS and Anet’s golden servers (the biggest ones) will ever touch it again.
You know, exactly what happened to Tequatl months ago.
I wish female humans held it like that, the way they drag greatswords behind them is sort of dumb…
All the living story skins should be added to the achievement panel when you earn them, it’s so obvious I have no idea why Anet didn’t do it.
The biggest problem with the wurm are the sea of adds that surround them. They make it nigh-suicidal to get close to the wurm (which at least two of the three require), hide the red arrow showing you what you’re supposed to do, and in general are just a gigantic thorn in everyone’s side.
The marionette event is not that difficult. I honestly can’t fathom how people are failing it so consistently.
They are failing due to taking a lot of damage and dying. I mean, really, is this hard to figure out?
The main culprit is boss #3. I routinely am on servers where the first two bosses are taken down in order, and then boss #3 is failed over and over until the event wipes.
That means there is a problem with this fight. Period. I don’t care how many snobs pontificate about how “it’s easy if you just do _” or “lol, just don’t do _”. People are failing it all the time except if they end up in an instance where there’s some very large organized guild or something. And that’s NOT what I thought this game was supposed to be about.
Is #3 the screaming one? Because the one time I got that, I zoned right into its attack and was downed before the game would even let me move.
It’s good for exactly one thing: using on the Maw shaman (it reverts him from his second form to his first form when it wears off, for some reason).
The new circles don’t become invisible in shallow water like the old ones, so at least there’s that.
I fully expect to see backpieces inspired by the other 4 Gods to come in future years.
There’s already an item code floating around for a Balthazar back item, in fact.
The form-changing skills should work like this: you can stay in them until you go underwater or are downed, then it goes on cooldown.
Similarly, all elite summons should survive until killed/you go underwater, instead of some arbitrary time limit.
Necromancer Vabbian armor, specifically the female version.
Also, it’s difficult to see where the bombs are supposed to go, because the red arrow gets hidden under a pile of enemies.
Environmental weapons often count, sometimes in very strange ways. The golem suit from the late-game priory air drop mission gives you hammer kills, for example.
Anet seems to believe every server is Blackgate, and the less populous servers suffer for it. I don’t know why they didn’t learn from Tequatl, or the Scarlet invasions before that.
Do you realize that at some point, all dragons will be like Tequatl?
Effectively abandoned on most largest servers? Other than the reset zerg, people barely fight the Claw and Shatterer on Maguuma as it is!
If it’s not on the map, it shouldn’t count. The Mists (where the wubwub is) isn’t on the map, it shouldn’t count. Same reason dungeon POI/waypoints don’t count and the Heart of the Mists doesn’t count.
Southsun should count, but inexplicably doesn’t because reasons.
They should move Eagle Eye down into the Adept tier (where Stronger Bowstrings, its warrior counterpart, is), because the Adept traits in Marksmanship are pretty awful, and too many bow traits are clustered in the Master tier.
Also, something needs to be done about all those overly-specific pet traits in the Master tier of Beast Mastery. Maybe make all of them apply to all pets, so you can choose which one you want without needing to use specific types.
