I like the Seraph (human t3 weapon), Wolfborn (norn t3 weapon) and Order of Whispers pistols.
I got a Leaf of Kudzu for approximately 5g worth of rare level 80 bows I bought on a whim to throw in the forge.
RNG is weird.
A ground-targeting option that, when enabled, would cast centered on whatever you have targeted when you use the skill.
- When killing a mob give the offhand weapon credit too (for weapon master)
Also, kills with any sort of environmental weapon should be counted towards your equipped weapon(s), and enemies that die to conditions should also be counted.
The fire elemental needs a few tweaks:
1. embers should spawn inside it instead of on top of players. That’s just dumb and makes reviving people more difficult than it has to be.
2. Embers should only be able to hurt you if you’re touching them, right now it seems like their hitbox is at least twice the size of their model.
3. The launching fireball attack seems to hit instantaneously when the red circle appears, giving you much less time to react than usual. There should be a delay between the two, like with most aoe attacks in the game.
Also, cut the Megadestroyers health in, like, half, that fight goes on forever.
Shatterer – Most challenge I’ve had out of this fight is the achievement for breaking people out of crystals. This is your new champ, Kral? Glint would have kicked this guy’s kitten . He’s all spark and no bite.
Force people to fight the Shatterer head-on (where most of its attacks are aimed), and it’d be in a pretty good place. Just have it lay down a damage field to the sides of it or something, I don’t know. Maybe make the turrets actually work and not kick you out when you try to use them.
They really should add shards to all the vendors at the temples, it’s crazy inconvenient that they’re only available at the one that gets unlocked the least often (and, iirc, gets bugged pretty often).
Just take a moment to name a new pet whenever you switch it into an active slot.
Dots revealing stealthed characters would completely kitten thieves to uselessness in WvW and PvP.
And nothing of value was lost.
they’re not in a category, most of them can be found by searching for “spineguard”.
Yes, this is dumb, but that’s the TP for you.
I think that type of bandit wields a hammer. Both the rifle knockback and the pseudo-daggerstorm are steal skills.
Can you throw these in the forge to at least make something you can sell? I forget.
You can
Gorr’s fine, he’ll pop back up later on in the story.
I don’t think you ever hear anything about Benn Tenstrikes, though.
I have 18. Four humans (warrior, guardian, ranger, mesmer), for norn (warrior, ranger, thief, mesmer), four sylvari (warrior, thief, ranger, elementalist), three asura (guardian, ranger, necromancer), and three charr (warrior, engineer, elementalist).
All but the human warrior and sylvari ranger are level 80.
If it was intended, it wouldn’t bug out the reward chest the way it does.
iirc, didn’t the description for the Arah tokens before they got folded into the wallet pretty much say “this is a piece of Zhaitan, who is dead”?
I can’t figure out why cloth is so much more expensive than leather (despite both dropping from most of the same sources at similar rates).
The “food” subcategory under Consumables is also completely devoid of actual food, somehow.
All the activities use PVP architecture, and it’s technically classed as an activity (hence that timer at the top that resets the instance when it ends) so it does too.
Priory looks pretty good on asura, as do some of the crafted sets (Winged, Exalted).
Things not on the map shouldn’t count for world completion. Heart of the Mists doesn’t count, dungeons don’t count, wubwub shouldn’t count either for the same reasons (also, Southsun should, but doesn’t because….?)
There is CERTAINLY a possibility to get a PRECURSOR from 4 RARES, but at BEST the chance is 5 times less than 4 EXOTICS.
I know for a fact you can get a precursor from 4 rares. I did it once.
The embers should spawn in the fire elemental and travel outwards, not spawn on top of people.
Also, cut their area of effect down to the model’s size, so they can’t hit you unless they touch you.
Some armor sets are just like that, it seems to be intended but I don’t know why.
it’s an armor skin, it and the other helm with the deer horns are already in the pvp locker.
I’ve gotten Forgal twice and Trahearne once.
if damage from a condition kills the enemy, it doesn’t count. It’s like this with all the weapon achievements.
yeah, the fire whirlwind embers have a massive AOE (at least twice their visible model), and tend to get culled.
It’s a veteran risen holding a couple of pact soldiers under an illusion.
I saw Crusader Michiele with it, so guild bounties can be affected too.
I don’t think the witch spawning is related to any of the other events in the lake (which happen even when she’s up).
The same reason you cant toilet exotic runes and sigils-everyone would do it to get divinities/bloodlust/etc expensive ones.
I’m not really seeing the downside to cheap sigils and runes…
There’s a lot of waypoints that don’t even seem to have associated events you can clear, too.
I agree, it just isn’t viable for certain classes (Mesmer for one) to be rocking these speed increases without sacrifice. It is bad enough that rune of speed/traveller are already breaching the territory of game breaking.
There’s nothing game-breaking about being able to move at a reasonable speed.
And at +25% speed norn and charr characters don’t feel like they’re running in slow motion any more, that’s such an unbelievable quality of life thing.
-Customization, as others have already stated, races like the Largos lacks viable customization options and are heavily portrayed as assassins which limits the classes available.
Largos could easily have the usual customization options of skin/hair/eye color, plus the shape/size/color of the fins on their back.
All the Largos in the game are using one of two models right now, so of course there’s not much variation. The tengu currently all use the same one as well, I believe (with a few palette swaps).
Did you try the new poi in Divinity’s Reach from a while back?
If nightmare is Mordremoth’s corruption, I think another question that would need to be answered would be why does it affect no other races?
Every single example of dragon corruption we have seen has been very indiscriminate in its effect. There are risen Quaggen, Branded devourers, and Icebrood wolves… why would Mordremoth only be able to corrupt a single race (and a very new one at that)
This isn’t quite true, the Nightmare Court can influence fern hounds in the same way as sylvari, and quite a few other creatures besides (mosshearts, jungle wurms, spiders, jaguars, and they at least thought they could do it to the White Stag), plus there’s the blighted grubs and plants that appear during the jungle wurm event.
The commissar doesn’t have a timer, it spawns as soon as the two camps in the east are cleared.
The only thrown spear is the guardian’s, it’s a melee weapon for the other five professions that use it.
They were going to include polearms at some point, iirc, but they didn’t make it into the final game.
They should basically revert Tequatl back to how it was, but add the new version as a “guild raid”, which you can enter like a “guild rush” or “guild puzzle”.
I think you mean a Guild Challenge, and yes a better-scaled version of Newquatl would fit right in with them.
it’s also a big problem with events, particularly “capture X place” ones.
It’s been like this for a couple of days on Maguuma as well.
Attack from the stairs and the golem basically can’t do jack to you.
Newquatl would make a decent Guild Challenge, but it’s awful as open world content.
I never did understand why that one particular batch of cannons hits so hard. It only seems to be the ones in that one camp you need to liberate to get the commissar to spawn, too, none of the other ones in Dredgehaunt (or anywhere else) are like that.
They should put meta achievement skins in the achievement window of the hero panel, like zenith weapons and radiant/hellfire stuff.
There’s really only so much you can do to the starter zone bosses without turning them into something akin to launch-time fire elemental. They’re in starter zones and should be relatively easy.
I think Taidha Covington needs a revamp the most (both because of the incredibly unintuitive way her meta event works, and because the actual fight is really pathetic), followed by the shatterer and the golem.
Nobody’s going to guest to one of the most overpopulated servers in the game for that. Your own world’s population is to blame.
I’d like the Stalwart and Commando medium armors to be added as well.
Commando is within the game already. It’s piecemealed out to the player through sections of their Personal Story chain (near the end in the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s). Now, if players miss out by not selecting them, that’s their problem. Just equally the same goes for deleting them too.
You don’t get the gloves or boots from there though (one of the other options for medium classes from those missions is CM armor, also, which is just strange).
Also, while we’re at it, add the Rubric light armor to PVE as well.
iirc, it’s not the running animation, it’s an attempt to keep weapons from clipping on the larger body types.
Looks really goofy though.
